Summer: *watching Yang study* I’m telling you, Ozpin did something to her.

Blake: And magic isnt real.

Summer: She’s completely forgotten about Ruby!

Blake: And I still think you’re overreacting.

Summer: I’m not! *turning to face Weiss* You believe me, right?

Weiss: *smiling like an idiot as she looked at Summer* Yes, yes I do.

Summer: *looking curiously at Weiss* Everything okay?

Weiss: *hesitating for a moment as she realized what was going on, trying to compose herself and quickly looking at a book to study from* Y-yes, everything’s fine. I believe you that there’s something wrong but I think Blake is right and we… we shouldnt worry too much about it.

Summer: *getting up and heading to Ozpin’s office* I’m going to get down to the bottom of this.

Blake: *leaning over to Weiss* Smooth.

Weiss: *blushing harder and groaning as she dropped her head onto her book* Why cant I just talk to her?

Blake: *smirking* Because you’re a useless gay?

Weiss: I dont want to hear it from you.

Qrow: What do you think they’re talking about?

Raven: *putting her ear against Ozpin’s door* If you’d shut up, I could tell you.

Qrow: We should just go in there-

Raven: And what? Get caught?

Tai: *sitting down and watching his teammates* Listening through the door is never going to work.

Raven: Just quiet down-

[The door opens with Ozpin at the rest of Ruby’s teammates]

Ozpin: Well, seems like Miss Rose was right.

Raven: *quickly pulling away from the door* W-we were just-

Qrow: *pulling out a scroll from his back pocket* We just wanted to capture a few memories of our favorite places.

Ozpin: *not believing a word out of Qrow’s mouth* And so you decided to listen in on a private conversation in order to do so?

Tai: Look, we’re just worried about Ruby and wanted to make sure she was safe.

Ozpin: *nodding* Well, since you’re here and have listened in, I think it’s time for you to know the truth.

Qrow, Tai, and Raven: *all looking at Ozpin curiously* The truth?

Ozpin: Why dont you all come in and tell me your favorite fairy tales.

Heyyyyy new UF AU time! This one has been thrown around a bit on here and on the UF Discord before but I figured it was finally time to draw fucking designs for the damn thing. So here we have what I like to call the Roseswap AU! The big main gist in this AU is that Gems are swapped around with various humans. I’ll go over each of those changes down below (keep in mind that p much all  of the “Gems” go by their human names in this AU (its a fun trend that Steven started), but their gem types will be in parenthesis. Same goes for the humans, with their human names first but the characters they actually are in UF canon in parenthesis: 

Steven (or Pink Quartz): Formerly Pink Diamond, former leader of the Crystal Gems, Rose’s father Dipper (or Pearl): Skilled in strategy and swordfighting, is hella gay for Steven Mabel (or Amethyst): Second youngest member of the Crystal Gems; rowdy, creative and free spirited Stanford (or Garnet): Fusion of Stan (Ruby) and Ford (Sapphire); made of brotherly love 

Prela Spears (Pearl): Intelligent 12 year old who’s a bit too curious and uptight for her own good Amy Whipper (Amethyst): Prela’s relatively new stepsister; a total mischief maker Rubella Garnett (Ruby): Amy’s great aunt who’s taking care of the girls for the summer; runs a gem in the middle of the woods that totally isn’t a front for some mysterious business... Sophie Garnett (Sapphire): Rubella’s ex wife who was estranged for her for years; they’re slowly starting to rekindle their relationship though

Rose Maheswaran: Daughter of Steven and Connie, youngest member of the Crystal Gems Greg DeMayo: A rather sheltered kid who seeks more adventure and freedom; is head over heels for Rose Connie Maheswaran: Rose’s mother and Steven’s partner; a responsible, but reasonable parent who’s supportive of her daughter’s endeavors  Brittany DePoint (Bismuth): A local rich girl who softens up after kindling a close bond with Perla Nellie Juvinate (Spinel): Town darling with some more sinister motives in mind Lucy Lasil (Lapis): A chill teen who works at Rubella’s gym Dottie Magnett (Peridot): A teen who also works at Rubella’s gym; absolute weeb Juniper (June) Helmetson (Jasper): A punk teen often seen as the town bully, especially in the eyes of the younger kids

Pacifica (or Bismuth): A long lost member of the Crystal Gems Soos (or Peridot): A recent recruit to the Crystal Gems; their tech specialist who can fix anything Gideon (or Spinel): A Gem who comes to earth seeking vengeance against Rose in particular for some unknown reason (also, a Gremlin) Robbie (or Jasper): A Gem renowned on Homeworld for being ruthless and cruel Wendy (or Lapis): A Gem the kids found and freed from a mirror, seeking freedom

So yeah this AU is a fun concept I went overboard with. Feel free to ask any questions you might have on it!

I’ve had brainworms for a RWBY x Back to the Future AU for the past week, probably because @bridgyrose​‘s Roseswap AU has got me thinking about Ruby being sent back in time. Thanks to a fancy magic time relic, Ruby gets stuck in the past when Team STRQ attends Beacon. She goes through all the fun that Marty did like dealing with outdated trends, realizing how much past events domino future ones, p a r a d o x e s, and being the target of an unfortunate familial crush. (Look, it’s not Back to the Future if that’s not included. Sue me.)

I’m imagining that Ozpin takes the place of Doc Brown which is all the more hilarious since past Oz is barely older than Ruby. We’ve got this eccentric twenty year old headmaster that’s so obsessed with time that he claims his cane can store it. And let’s not forget all the angst and heartwarming moments that can come out of Ruby meeting young STRQ, especially Summer.

When she returns to the present, I wonder if her presence will have changed anything for the better... ;)

some doodles i never posted here - an idea for my Roseswap AU, where Winry is Rose’s childhood friend but ends up bound to the suit of armor after the transmutation to bring back Rose’s boyfriend and/or Winry’s parents.

having a body that never tires is useful for 24/7 automail work for Rose, but that’s the only big positive here... poor winry..

I got discouraged at not being able to make Armor-Winry distinct enough from Armor-Ed or Alphonse outside of adding nonsensical eyelashes. aw well...

Raven: You say that like we shouldn’t have.

Ruby: *sighing and pulling out a notepad* Do you want the reasons why in chronological or alphabetical order?

Raven: ...okay, you have a point.

Tai: *putting his hands on Raven’s and Ruby’s shoulders* Oh lighten up. We had a few missteps here and there, but we all put in the work to graduate. I think this calls for a celebration!

Qrow: And by celebration, you mean going to the bar and failing to get a date, right?

Tai: Exactly.

Qrow: Screw it, I’m in.

Tai: That’s the spirit! Raven? Ruby? You in?

Raven: You know what? Sure. I could use a night to cause a little trouble.

Ruby: I cant. Ozpin needs me for a mission tomorrow.

Qrow: Wait, seriously? He’s asking you on a mission already? You just graduated.

Ruby: *finishing packing up her things* He did. But I’ll be finished in a couple days and I can celebrate with you guys then.

Raven: *feeling a bit dejected* A-alright then. Dont have too much fun without us.

Ruby: *rushing off with her pack* Wouldnt dream of it!

Tai: *watching Ruby leave* Well, that’s a bummer. I was hoping she’d come with us.

Raven: Have you guys noticed how strange she’s been acting?

Qrow: What do you mean?

Raven: It’s like she’s a different person from who we met when we started here.

Tai: *shrugging* People grow up.

Raven: Yeah but… I dont know, something seems off ever since she talked to Ozpin about those memory issues she’s been having.

Qrow: Now that you mention it, she’s been going to his office a lot.

Tai: So, what exactly are we going to do?

Raven: I think it’s time we follow her to see what she’s up to.

I remember once making a similar master post where I listed all of Sonic's counterparts in my AU, so... Why not do one with Jules now?

List of All the Different Juleses in my AU

Prime Jules - Main Verse Jules. Is the closest to canon, which isn't saying much. Is still roboticized but has a Nanite form that makes him look organic, because it's easier to draw. He's somewhat reserved, though does have a love for humor and harmless pranks. Also really likes art, particularly music.

Anti-Jules/Caesar - Prime's Anti. Very flamboyant, but also snobbish. Acts very friendly in public but is a huge dick in private. His nickname, Caesar, is derived from Julius Caesar- because his full name actually is Julius and everyone who's had the displeasure of knowing him wants to stab him. Probably, like, the only bad father on this list. He's of a high status but he isn't really royalty, just a noble.

Zules - Is an eccentric art teacher. Similarly to Caesar he's flamboyant, but unlike Caesar he's actually friendly. While Prime prefers music, Zules prefers painting. Also, since the way I designed him makes him look like a scientist anyway, he may also double as Zharley's assistant from time to time.

Roseswap Jules - Jules if he had swapped places with his wife, Bernadette. RS!Jules is very friendly and sweet, so long as you don't get on his bad side. Has a tendency to wear skirts and dresses more than pants. Really likes the colors pink and purple.

Digitized Jules - Another Swap AU but this time it's with Nicole. Which means that, technically, this isn't even really the "real" Jules- just a failed copy of him. While very similar, there are noticeable differences among them.

Half Robian - An AU where Jules gets deroboticized, but halfway through something went wrong- leaving part of his head still robotic. Not only that, but the botched deroboticization left his legs with paraparesis. While he's not completely incapable of moving them, it's still best for him to use a wheelchair to get around instead. In some ways, the way it was botched was actually rather convenient, as it ended up keeping him alive.

Eggboss - Derivative of the Half Robian 'verse. Jules got caught by Robotnik and legionized. Because of the nature of his new cybernetics, Eggman can either completely paralyze or kill him at any moment. As you can imagine, he's not very happy about this.

Fully Deroboticized - An AU where Jules goes through both deroboticization as well as surgery so that he can remain alive. However, because his eye was basically unsalvageable after being shot, it was removed and his eyelid was stitched closed.

Soldier Jules - Just Prime Jules pre-roboticization. In the middle of The Great War, so he's still not exactly having a great time right now either.

Future Jules - Prime Jules in the far future. His whole family is dead, and he is quite literally and figuratively falling apart. Multiple limbs of his were replaced with random robot and badnik limbs. Tends to hover around other somewhat immortal beings like Shadow, Omega, Shard, etc. solely because they're at least familiar.

ShaHF Jules - From a much more low-stakes AU where he's part of a huge polycule and has several kids. Has never been roboticized, and even the scar over his left eye was due to a minor accident than anything particularly dramatic. As a result, he's a lot more relaxed compared to Prime.
