Today is a very special day because today is the eleventh anniversary of Rise of the Guardians!

ROTG is very dear to me because it introduced me to the Guardians of Childhood book series by the wonderful William Joyce and opened the window that lit up the very dark room that was my life at the time and made me want to be a writer.

So, I decided to celebrate with a special moodboard of my OTP, Katherine Shalazar, and Nightlight (Kathlight/Bedtime Stories).

Happy 10th Anniversary to Rise of the Guardians!!! 🎁⭐️🧚🏻‍♀️🐰❄️🌕🖤 I can’t believe time flew by so fast from 2012! Still waiting for a Sequel to this masterpiece!!! It’s one of the best animated films and deserves so much love and attention than what the box office says.

To celebrate I’m gonna rewatch this film with my boyfriend. This movie means so much to me and it still holds up as my all time favorite movie!!!

To the Rise of the Guardians fandom,

Every night before I fall asleep, I look up the rotg hashtag on Tumblr. It doesn't matter if it was a great day or a shitty day, I always look. And this is the reason:

This fandom makes my day, every day.

Whether it's your in depth analysis' or everyone rebloging posts about how gosh darn beautiful the animation is or people just simping over Jack like there's no tomorrow, it makes my day. It's great to know that this fandom is still out their, quiet and peaceful and accepting. It's genuinely a great environment, and for me it's like a tiny slice of paradise. I enjoy your cute headcanons and your oc content. I love rebloging gifs and posts and everything. And I love you guys, because if it weren't for you, I wouldn't have any of that.

Yes, they are the same couple, but just at different ages. Nightlight and Katherine are 12, and Jack Frost and Mother Goose are 18.

For those who don't know, Katherine Shalazar grows up to be Mother Goose, and Nightlight doesn't die; he grows up to be Jack Frost~

Hello everyone! Apologies for my tardiness on posting the trailer, but I hope it is worth the wait! In celebration of the 10 year aniversary of Dreamworks' Rise Of The Guardians, the crew and I (Lumi) have banded together to produce an animatic trailer for the Pilot episode of Adventures of the Guardians. For those that are unaware, our studio lumifox productions has been working on creating a sequel animated tv series to ROTG, taking place 3 years after the events of the movie. Please enjoy this trailer, as well as a surprise cameo at the end by yours truly.

So “How to Train Your Dragon” is getting a whole new series. Which I think the franchise was ended on a good note after the third movie. What I really think Dreamworks should be focusing on is that “Rise of the Guardians” should get some more attention. Next year will be 10 years since the movie came out! It’s wholeheartedly my favorite movie from Dreamworks. There’s so much potential and lore about the characters that can get expanded through another movie or even a series. Especially, through Bill Joyce’s books that tell the story of the characters arc. Bring in characters like Katherine and Ombric. So please give this movie another chance!
