How the Girl with a Rotten Heart died. Pt1
There once was a girl with a rotten heart. But we'll get to her later.
It is said that fate is a trickster. This is not true.
But if you act like it's true in the right way at the right times, you might just get what you want. This is a story about that.
It might be useful in order to understand fate, to split her in three.
Grandmother Hiss, her hair a matted halo of salt and pepper.
Mother Green, her flowers heavy with nectar, and her thorns dripping with blood.
And of course, Daughter Chance of Two Faces; one face of coldwrought iron, the other of warped ivory.
One day, the three discovered that Grandmother Hiss had a parasite. A writhing thing curling up under her skin by the name of Ensen. Mother Green felt guilty, since Ensen was one of her children, but nothing could be done to change that now. Grandmother Hiss was bloating, and soon would surely die.
The Cytokine Storm has failed, will fail, is failing. Apotheosis, Apoptosis.
This worried Mother Green and Daughter Chance, as they lived by wading through the river that flowed from between her legs.
Soon they realised that the only way to achieve any manner of victory over Ensen, they needed to do what they do best: play a trick.
So they searched and searched and soon found what they sought:
A fisherwoman with a yellow spear and a white cloak, that stalks the banks of the river. Where she walks, the sands are stained black with rot from the drippings of her lolling broken jaw.
She is the sister of Mother Green, and her name is Extinction.
Mother Green and Daughter Chance greeted her kindly, though were careful not to get too close. Extinction nodded, and waited for them to say what they had to say. They asked her for one of her prizes, a wish she of course refused to grant, for she is covetous.
The pair explained that they needed it in order to fight Ensen, and they would pay her back a thousandfold for the privilege. At once, Extinction agreed, for Ensen had stolen so many from her basket overflowing, and many more from the point of her spear.
So Extinction rifled through her cloak, and pulled out a seed she held close to her chest. For this prize was hard won and incredibly dear to her, and she could hardly bear to let go of it for even a moment, for fear she would never see it again.
The seed was of the wolves born with a fire in their gut, forced to eat and eat and eat, lest the fire consume them from the inside out. Both Mother Green and Daughter Chance grinned at the sight, as the beast was one of their masterpieces, from confused and scared beginning, to cold and lonely end.
They took their creation, and hurried fast to the island in the river from which it sprouted, and saw one of Ensen's tendrils would soon reach it. They chuckled together, and pressed the seed into the soft skull of a newborn, and sat back to watch it all unfold.

Flowers for valentine
You make me feel like a fool.
He was one of the sweet ones
The once who gives you flowers for valentine,
With a note saying all the things he loves about you,
And who notices your insecurities and point them out as his favorite things.
You made me feel like a fool.
Now he’s one of them,
Who slaps girls asses and laugh with his friends
He catcalls and cheats and
You made me feel like a fool.
Im one of them too,
If they tell me they love me I laugh in their faces,
And if they get me flowers for valentine i call the clingy and cringe,
My heart is growing mold and it’s becoming rotten,
Maybe it already is, because
You made me feel like a fool.
And no one wants a rotten heart
So ill just throw it out
You made me feel like a fool.

If the devs don't give UI some lore.... then I will ...
relationship chart:
pebbles:
UI dislikes him, hell they are basically one minor inconvenience away from hating him. he's slightly older than them, but despite being "such a brat" (UI is projecting onto him. pebbles is NOT a brat <///3), he is a lot more liked by the group than UI.
neither do their views align, UI is an anti-sliverist, and pebbles is a sliverist.
so basically UI is fighting pebbles for the title of the cooler third gen iterator of the group (everyone else in the group is either second gen or first gen)
moon:
UI likes moon, literally the only one who UI isn't mean around. and it's not because UI just wants to be on the good side of a senior, no, UI genuinely does think that moon is rather nice. a part of UI wishes that they were her younger sibling instead of pebbles. moon is sort of the only one who's nice to them… thus they need to repay moon by being nice back. UI tries their best to not accidentally push moon away.
grey wind:
never talked to them, sort of wary, but admire them nonetheless. neither did UI wanna talk to GW, i guess they feel too guilty, as if GW absolutely despises them for how they're unable to really keep much friendships without pushing everyone away after 100 cycles. this guilt clouds UI's eyes, making them wary of GW because they so thoroughly convinced themselves GW hates them.
no significant harassment:
rather neutral about NSH, tried to become friends with NSH but ended up pushing him away like they always do. nevertheless, they hold no good or bad opinions about NSH
suns:
UI doesn't know them, has no clue why they talk like they're a part of the group, and really doesn't like them because of this. UI is sort of distrustful of strangers, they definitely live by an extreme version of "you do not get my respect for free"
layout of the group, purely my hcs
