Imagine one day you wake up with no idea where you are, and in a place nothing like where you’d gone to sleep. Things are strange and foreign, for some more so than others, and there’s no way to escape. Waken by the echoes of fading screams as the sun breaks over the blue ocean horizon, high on the tallest peak of a small but densely wooded island set alone in an azure expanse. 

For some even the light blazing from light fixtures, that carried a distinctly vintage mid 60’s vibe that permeates the entire motel, was a wonder they’d never seen before. For others, those same touches were from a time long past, and yet for others still it was maybe the only thing that gave them a sense of home.

MemorylaneHQ will a small, ten slot, oc rp set on a mysterious deserted island where characters from all over human history wake up with no memory of how they got there. Be it a servant from Medieval England, an 1800′s cowboy, an 80′s arcade champ, or any other period of time you can think of, they could all end up here together. 

But... don’t let your guard down, for that is just the start of the mysteries.

★★★ HEMERA COLONY:

Where the current former-Earth civilization lives on Novis. Run by a city council with heavily strict rules, they keep everything under control by any means necessary.

They still have their high-tech technology from the world before, but live more modestly as they try to get their world settled and back in order after their few years of living on the planet.

Survival is their main focus in this new world.

Locations for Hemera Colony are below.

★★★ TOWN SQUARE LOCATIONS:

Colony Run Liquor Store (Run by the city council of Hemera, closed on weekends)

William's Replicant Repair Shop (Owned by EDDIE WILLIAMS)

Prime Time Bar (Owned by TBA)

Hemera School

Hemera Grocers (the only so-called legal place to spend rations, only open on weekdays)

Hemera Cinema (playing vintage films from the 1900s on, only on the weekends)

Red Lights (a legal brothel authorized by the city council)

Colony Market (a weekly farmer's market where those involved can trade goods or rations for other items, be it handmade or food)

Atlantis (a small hotel where those that can't stay at home can be, with a maximum of forty-nine guests at a time)

★★★ HOUSING:

Elysium: The housing for the elite and members of the city council. Each family gets their own dedicated home, not having to share with anyone else. Most have small accessory dwellings where their employees will live if they are deemed necessary of staying on the property.

Athena: Less luxurious than Elysium, it still is considered to be "good" to live in Athena housing. Families share households with a maximum of three other families. Many will have their own gardens to tend to, so they can avoid heading to the Market Square to buy food with their rations.

Barracks: The most cramped of all living situations, the barracks are packed to the brim with those who were just lucky enough to get off of Earth. Individual households are no longer a thing, with beds being set up like army barracks and small nightstands to keep their belongings.

★★★ NON-CIVILIAN:

Communication Center: The location of communication between those in Illume Terminal or the approaching passenger ships. The staff is rotated out constantly, with only the heads of communication staying long-term.

Landing Strip: The travel between Illume Terminal and Hemera Colony will go through this landing station, with there being monthly transports of supplies to those up in the terminal.

Hemera Prison: Where those who break the laws of Hemera are placed. Those who refuse quarantine are listed as people who must go to this prison among other lawbreakers. Can house up to two thousand inmates.

Research Laboratory: Where the research is processed from exploration outside of the walls of Hemera Colony. Most research is dedicated to the flora and fauna of Novis, not anything more advanced than that at the moment.

Quarantine Center: After leaving the exterior walls, return residents must quarantine in these centers for two weeks straight. Each resident is placed into their own tent unless all tents are filled.

Outpost 2A: A facility that is located just four miles from Hemera Colony that stands as a stopping point for those exploring. Here is where they conduct research regarding the world and its conditions, primarily the Dead Zone.

★★★ COMMAND BASE LOCATIONS:

Exploration Command Center (headquarters for missions to explore more of Novis)

City Council Center (hall of city council meetings every Friday and Wednesday for the public to attend)

Infirmary and Medbay and Military Barracks (Where the small section of the military will reside in case they are needed against anything outside of the exterior walls)

★★★ OTHER LOCATIONS:

The Farms: Acres and acres large, this farm is the main source of sustaining the population of Hemera Colony. Here they are starting to cultivate new vegetables native to Novis as well as their old seeds from Earth.

Dedication Memorial Field: The cemetery in Hemera, where all of the residents who passed away of non-disease or Dead Zone-caused deaths are buried, is located a twenty-minute walk outside of the walls of the colony. There are monthly visits allowed to the memorial field, chaperoned by the replicant workers.
