late autumn

the first word that comes to mind is: mysterious. you’re probably the coolest one in your entire friend group, let’s be honest. you seem like the type of person that knows how to accessorize perfectly (or absolutely has no clue but still looks good regardless) you seem very in touch with your own surroundings and your friends tend to look to you for advice. you remind me of the chocolatey browns and deep purples of a night sky that is speckled with gold and silver stars, the sound of leaves crunching under leather boots, and the smell of coffee brewing.

Who are some of your favorite people on your dash every day and why?

Ok, this is a dangerous question. I don’t want anyone feeling butthurt if you’re not mentioned so I’m going to limit it to 5 people and if you don’t make this list, I’m sorry. It is nothing personal against you. I love everyone I follow. That’s why I follow you.

And you know what? Let’s not list the usual suspects, like the people I rp with frequently. I’m just gonna list some people I follow that make me smile even if we don’t rp. 

@hitsharder has such beautiful posts and icons. Their posts are just very visually appealing. Really great comic book Hawkeye. We never rped but I just enjoy their Clint. He’s very funny. 

@govthookercoulson and @bartonstrickarrows ... I’m not going to lie. I am really invested in their smut right now. XD

@knowseverythingaboutyou. We’ve never rped before but I just miss my old Hill so I lurk... There aren’t enough Hill rp blogs out there. 

@shiningbled, not even a marvel blog but I just really enjoyed Doctor Sleep and I was raised on The Shining thanks to my older brother so it’s just fun to see something different on my dash.

01.   WHAT  IS  YOUR  OTP  FOR  YOUR  CHARACTERS  ?

weLL I have a few. Like Johnny Satana. Amerto. Kaine Belle. Jack Elsa. etc. But even if I have an OTP for a character I’m open to other ships. 

02.   WHAT  ARE  YOU  WILLING  TO  WRITE  WHEN  IT  COMES  TO  SHIPPING?

I like mixing it up. Fluff, angst, etc. It’s all good. RL relationships are full of ups and downs, and so should fictional ones. Or it’s not realist enough for me to enjoy it. 

03.  HOW  LARGE  DOES  THE  AGE  GAP  HAVE  TO  BE  TO  MAKE  IT UNCOMFORTABLE

It’s a sliding timescale? Like I wouldn’t ship a 25 with a 18, but I have no problem with a 25 dating a 35. It’s a growth and maturity thing more than an actual age thing. 

04.   ARE  YOU  SELECTIVE  WHEN  SHIPPING?

I only ship with mutuals, and I have to feel comfy with the other player tbh? I’ve had people creep me out in the past and it made me more careful. 

05.  HOW  FAR  DO  STEAMY  MOMENTS  HAVE  TO  GO  BEFORE  YOU  CONSIDER  THEM  NSFW?

Someone can be described as naked and not bother me, it depends on what the characters are doing. Heavy petting and humping is nsfw. That said I don’t rp nsfw on tumblr anymore, and only with my life partner on disc.ord. 

06.   WHO  ARE  OTHER  CHARACTERS  YOU  SHIP  YOUR  CHARACTER  WITH?

well if I ship something there’s a fair chance I approach the other player at some point like “DO YOU TOO?” 

07.  DOES  ONE  HAVE  TO  ASK  TO  SHIP  WITH  YOU?

I like when it flows naturally from our writing, but I do prefer discussing it beforehand. Sometimes people send me shippy memes and the likes and I don’t feel it, or other people don’t send any when I’d feel it. That’s why I like to approach people. 

08.  HOW  OFTEN  DO  YOU  LIKE  TO  SHIP?

I’ve got so many ships lol. But not all of them are romantic. I love family ship, kinship, enmity, etc. Not everything has to be about the ROMANCE.

Obsessed. I try to curb that though.

It’s not my favorite stone (that’s obsidian actually), but it’s short and sweet and a tough rock and semi-precious so I’ll take it. Favourite muse(s) you’ve written: hmmm I’ve written many many many muses over the years, it’s hard to pick favorites. I’ve probably loved Fivey and the TARDIS best before coming to Marvel? I have a massive list of muses and this feels like picking a favorite child, I don’t like it T_T

What inspired you to take on your current muse (that you are posting this on): I wrote Clint Barton for a number of years (still do @arrowedavenger​, but it’s a sideblog rather than a main one now), and during my time with him as my main muse, I met the delightful @tekhne​ (who was @shpixn​ back then) and fell in love with their Natasha. I ended up wading through some of her comics and she cemented into me because Nat and I have so much in common. When Clint’s depression got too much for me to handle (on top of my own) for writing him as my primary muse, I decided to try my hand and Nat, and have had her ever since. Luckily Clint is a little better for me now as well, so I can write them both!

What are your favourite aspects of your current muse: I absolutely adore and admire Natasha’s resilience. She’s been through so much and still steadfastly determined to do good in the world. She doesn’t always succeed, of course, and she’s a deeply flawed person, but she’s often angry for the right reasons, and I resonate hugely with many of her personal issues and mental health diagnoses. Writing her is very cathartic for me sometimes, and the fact that she can face many of the challenges that I do and come out of it standing gives me hope of doing the same.

What’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to writing: This is going to sound cheesy as hell but probably my RP partners? Aside from the fact that many of them are simply incredible writers in their own right, whenever I’m unsure of where to go with things, I can pop in and ask for feedback, or request drabble prompts if I’m not feeling threads, or simply chat about our muses and their antics without the pressure of writing, and that helps unlock actual thread writing. I’ve been pressed for time lately so threads have been a little harder sometimes, but my muse is overflowing.

Favourite types of threads: I really enjoy variety. I find that having a good balance of styles keeps me interested in writing — some action, some hurt/comfort, some straight out angst, some fluff, some smut — I like a well rounded experience. Right now I’m really digging some of my AUs too, for a variety of reasons. Some are intense, some are soft in ways that a normal verse would never allow, some are just fun, and some are... excuses to make myself and my rp partner cry. Oops?

Biggest struggle in regards to your current muse: I’m lucky to say that I don’t have a ton of struggles with Nat these days, though I always waffle on which parts of her canon I really want to incorporate, since she’s been written for so many years and had things retconned so many times. Mostly sometimes she just wants a very specific type of interaction which makes replying to all my drafts a little harder, so I just live in meme central -_-
