The current state of the world, magically speaking, there's a Messiah going rogue and fucking things up, drastically changing timelines and creating paradoxes in greater number than the Paradox Demon Styx can fix. This has a number of consequences and ultimately shapes all of my characters' stories and arcs, in addition to leading to something Big And Bad that may be revealed later.

Retepa, as her skills in magic and her research in Messiahs deepens, so too will the tasks she is destined to perform. However, she is just a young woman who has not yet realized the weight of her purpose, as her mentor has refused to elaborate. As such, the only adventures she's going on at the moment are ones related to her study and whatever is happening with her quadrants.

Which might include "I accidentally put a Creature Spell on the stapler and now it wants to bite my fingers!" and "I accidentally turned my mentor into a newt and now I got to find a way to turn him back!" and "I need to figure out a way to annoy my kismesis the most using what I've recently learned. Google: How To Turn My Kismesis' Hair Into Feathers Since He Wants To Act So Feather-Brained All The Time Haha Get It Because Owl Stuff?"

There may be a day I actually write the arc for her Big and Very Serious adventures that addresses the issues the world is facing in the first paragraph but a lot of stuff needs to be put into place before that happens. And I am a very slow story teller.
