People who read the TDM books - did you hate the movie adaptation? I watched the movie first and liked it, then I went to check out the books and loved them.. I know if I read the books first I would have hated the movie (that’s how it always goes for me), so wondering your opinions!

I feel like if that we’re the case, Liam would make her his number one priority while Cole would still have her as a priority, but more so like his relationship with Liam. The two brothers would definitely clash over what they think is right for her with Liam wanting to find somewhere safe (rip East River), and Cole would want her to join the League (though I could see him potentially letting Liam take her, if that’s what was safest).

My money’s on her being a blue. My reasoning is vibes and vibes alone.

She and Zu would be so close, it’s unbelievable. While this may cause some issues with the canon storyline in the sense that Zu bonded so closely with Ruby over the fact that there weren’t any other girls in her life, I feel like the three of them would still get REALLY close.

Headcanon that Ruby can talk to animals

It's a bit after ITA when Ruby is in some boring meeting

when she sees a squirrel outside the window

and she's so sick of only being in peoples minds

so she's like ' I wonder what it's like to be a squirrel with no thoughts'

then she's like ' wait I COULD know'

chubs is in the meeting with her and he looks over to Ruby staring intently out the window at some random tree and texts Liam that she's going through it again

Liam walks into a room later that day to see Ruby opening the Window and letting birds fly in because they honestly just want to chat with her

she gives such good advice to birds tbh

So rereading The Darkest Minds for the who-knows-how-manyeth-time and I'm at the scene when they're at East River and Zu introduces the Betty gang to her cousin Hina.

Liam & Ruby ask if she's a yellow too and she responds "I'm a Green, duh!" Whist pointing to her hair.

Why is that meant to be obvious? Zu says her hair was cut because she had lice - nothing to do with being a yellow.

Anyone know?

Cole is a child of Vulcan, Hephaestus's roman counterpart, cause fire. Cole is a preator of camp jupiter. He ran away from home when his mom married Harry. He hasn't contacted them since

Liam is a child of hephaestus cause he is good with cars, and children of hephaestus are good mechanics, i decided to have Liam and Cole at different camps for plot. Liam dosent know Cole is also a halfblood

Vida is a child of Mars, Ares roman form (no explanation needed)

Chubs is a child of Apollo cause docter

Clancy was a tough one and was a toss up between Athena and Mars. Mars is Ares roman equivalent. But I decided Mars so Clancy could be a preator of camp jupiter with Cole cause I think that'd be hilarious

Jude is a child of Murcury, Hermes roman equivalent. I can't explain why he just is

Nico is a child of Athena and is a spy for Clancy

Zu is also a hard one cause I want to say she is a child of Zues, but in the darkest legacy she is such a smart cookie, but I still have to say she is a child of Zues
