Thoughts due to doing a beach fic with the Junoverse characters and how well they can swim.

Vespa the strongest swimmer due to having grew up in the swamplands and needing to know how to swim to survive. Theatens not to save the others when they get over their heads, but will save them when they inevitably do.

Jet can swim quite well but often doesn't as he can just stand up in most pools and water that the people he's with wants to swim in. Helps Rita into her pool floats and makes sure the floats don't float off with Rita in them.

Juno is surprisingly good swimmer for having grown up on a desert planet, but does not love to swim. Likes waiding in water and walking in the shallows and along beaches.

Rita loves the pool and the beach cute bodies on display in cute swimsuits all for her to be able to look at. Can swim, not the strongest and loves lounging on a pool float or on a lounger with her snacks

Buddy was once a very strong swimmer is no longer after all the radiation damage. Loves to walk along the beach and get her feet wet.

Nureyev will not get his face or hair wet at all. Can swim, not the best but can, if he has to do it, if he knows how to swim at all. He would have learned for a heist required it but otherwise doesn't know how to swim. Does not understand why people would do it recreationally but that is because he has not worked on anything that would help him not get exhausted quickly and only works on it around heists that need it. Also has to be lathered in so much sunscreen because he will burn when on the beach.

The Ruby7 just loves watching the rest of the crew have fun when they go to the beach.

All I want is for Juno and Peter to retire to Io together.

They'd obviously figure out how to wake up Slip first and he'd come with. They'd get a little house together with enough insulation to keep Peter warm as long as the heat is always running. They'd have enough seating in the living room for when the Carte Blanche crew or Mick and Co. felt like coming over.

Peter would tell Slip about all the things that he missed while sitting across from him in a booth at Pam's diner; all the while, Juno and Puck sit at the countertop to talk about the best ways to keep kids out of the claw machines at the little arcade downtown as Juno, being the newest Deputy of Pickem Point, had had to rush over there four times that week to get the little gremlins that were considered children out of the stuffed animal filled glass box. Even Rita had learned her lesson after getting stuck in there twice!

Juno would teach Slip how to make tea just the way Nureyev liked it, which would turn into cooking lessons that he didn't fail nearly as badly as Nureyev. They would start to bond over ways to keep their thief from overworking himself and soon it would turn to attraction, which would lead to awkward conversations but then a date!

Eventually, Juno would adopt a rabbit with the promise of keeping it clean, Slip would find a little double cerberous puppy and bring it home, saying if Juno could have a rabbit and Peter could have the Ruby 7, then he could have a dog.

Is that too much to ask?

Spoilers for the new christmas ep ig

Ruby making the only request that it's ever made (in my knowledge) and that's only to go home and at that point none of them know or suspect that Ruby isn't the sports car it pretends to be and so her request sounds innocuous until you remember that maybe Ruby's not talking about the Carte Blanche and that it's not her home and that maybe her home no longer exists or it's a home she can't ever find or go back to again or home doesn't feel like home anymore because the things and people she knew no longer exist and I think given the whole displacement theme the penumbra has it makes me very very sad I hope Ruby can go home someday

More Junoverse Pokemon Au thoughts

The Ruby 7 is a Revavroom like the Starmobiles are in Pokemon Scarlet/Violet.

Also another though is Buddy has Vespa’s Pokemon bc during the escape they had been sent with one of the flying types to meet up with them again so they didn’t get caught. Buddy never lets people know they are not her Pokemon.
