(For real, though, please don’t copy, rewrite, or steal my work. A lot of time and effort has been put into creating it. It sucks as a writer to work so hard on something for it to be copied so easily (especially for free). If you do, I will find it, and it will be reported. I want my stories on my blog, and my blog only.)

☼ I will write for any of the Outer Banks characters, including smut. I, however, don’t write at all for the Outer Banks cast, nor do I write character pairings (ie JJ and Kie, Rafe and Kie, John B and Sarah, Pope and Cleo).

☼ I’m a senior creative writing major and it literally pains me to write character x reader now. That’s what we call growth, folks. All of my fics will be character x OC.

Speaking of OC’s here’s a link to ones I use for fics (this will update as I write; there may be multiple OC’s for some canon characters depending on the fic’s arc).

if you’d like to request an imagine of someone from my who i write list, the best way would be to send it into ‘ask me a question’

please include the person’s name, and a prompt to go with it

if you’re pulling from a prompt list (which is ok!) just make sure you specify which prompt

the time i take to write your request will vary- as many other fan fiction writers, i’m in school and i work, so life gets busy :)

i’ve never written smut but am not against trying to- however, i don’t write about the following topics:

SECRET SANTA; jj maybank

summary: with christmas coming up, y/n and jj struggles with not getting each other for secret santa — but breaking a few rules wouldn’t be that bad, would it?

“okay, so before we draw the results for secret santa, y’all have to remember — no swapping, no sharing, and definitely no-“

“pope! we know the rules, man, just get on with it.” jj rushed amusedly, wanting to know who he would get.

it was a tradition amongst the pogues that they will hold a secret santa every christmas so that they won’t struggle with getting everyone a gift, then after that, a feast at the wreck, and a sleepover at the chateau filled with crappy christmas movies and hot chocolate.

it’s your first time spending christmas with them. after your constant pleas to your parents, they reluctantly agreed to let you celebrate it with them.

you were practically on the edge of your seat as you waited for your turn to pick. you had both your fingers crossed behind your back as you wished to pick jj.

your relationship was still new and fresh, and you wouldn’t want to miss the opportunity to give him a christmas gift. especially after everything he’s done for you.

unbeknownst to you, jj was thinking the same thing. he was holding his breath as he picked a piece of paper. hoping and hoping to whoever was listening that he picked you.

after everyone emptied jj’s red cap, pope started to count down and everyone simultaneously opened their piece of paper.

you looked down at yours, JOHN B.

jj looked down at his, SARAH.

the both of you let disappointed sighs but smiled at everyone nevertheless.

“now, remember — no swapping, no telling, and no buying of any extras!”

bending the rules a little but wouldn’t hurt anyone, now, would it?

you made sure to make it to the chateau significantly earlier than jj. you gripped the piece of paper from yesterday as you entered john b’s living space and spotted sarah and kie talking by the couch.

“hey, girls…” you dragged out with a smile, sitting beside them. “we’re best friends, right?”

“yes…?” kiara eyed you suspiciously. “why?”

“so, who did you get for-”

“not jj,” sarah grinned, taking a bite out of her toast as she and kiara teased you. she chuckled at your flustered state. “i don’t get why you’re being shy about it, y’all are already dating.”

you placed your face in your hands and let out a groan. this was your first ever relationship, and you didn’t know what and what not to do. everything was all new for you. “no, actually, i- i don’t care, i was just curious, y’know? like…”

kiara scoffed amusedly, throwing her arms up. “that defeats the purpose of secret santa, y/n.”

you sighed in defeat, pouting in your place as you stole a jammed toast from sarah’s plate.

pope didn’t even get to touch the doorknob when you suddenly opened the door, surprising him as you grinned up at him.

“hey, pope,”

“no.”

you scowled at him, “you don’t even know what i’m going to say!”

“i don’t have jj, and even if i did, i won’t swap with you.” he pointed out, patting your head. “i know jj’s difficult to get gifts for but rules are rules, so, good luck!”

“it’s not that. it’s just… jj is-”

“i’m what?” the devil himself suddenly appeared, scaring pope yet again.

“y’all gotta stop doing that!” pope yelped, running a hand across his face before going in.

jj looked at you and shrugged, wrapping an arm around you before walking in with you.

you flopped down your bed with a heavy sigh, letting your gaze fall on the mini christmas tree at the corner of your room. it was already filled to the brim with gifts you bought for jj. you stared once more at the piece of paper and crumpled it, throwing it across the room, groaning when it bounced out of your trash bin.

you’d have thought luck would be at your side for this festive activity, hoping that you’d get jj. and if you didn't, which was your current case, someone could switch with you. you forgot how stubborn the pogues were.

you worked your ass off at the waffle cone, even going to the extent of taking shifts that weren’t even yours. you could remember the offended look on yourself when wanda forced you out of the shop and said, “for once in your life, stop working, and get a hobby, woman.”

christmas couldn’t have come any sooner because before you knew it, all of you were gathered in john b’s living room with your gifts for secret santa in your hands.

you managed to get john b a nice set of bandanas and button-up shirts from the mainland. it wasn’t really that hard to figure out what the guy wanted.

and it turns out pope was the one who got you. he bought you a vintage cd player and a cd filled with all of your favorite songs.

jj glared at pope but he only returned it with a cheeky grin. jj also tried to ask pope who got to pick you.

once it was over, everyone got up and piled in the twinkie for their annual dinner at the wreck, but before that, you grabbed jj’s hand and asked the rest of the pogues to go on without you.

“don’t take too long! you know how my mom gets.” kiara called out before shutting the door.

“-and make it quick! i wanna watch home alone.” pope demanded.

“hey, what’s up?” jj asked as he followed you towards your car. “do you not want to have dinner with the pogues? that’s fine with me, y’know, we could just-”

“no, no,” you shook your head, letting your hand hover over the back of your car. “i know we weren’t supposed to get each other gifts, but i couldn’t help myself.”

with a sheepish smile. you opened the door for jj to see the new surfboard you bought for him. it was in his favorite color, with waterproof stickers adorned all over, and with both of your initials carved on the top of the board.

when jj didn’t speak, you assumed the worst and panicked. “it’s too much, isn’t it? oh my gosh, i’m so sorry, i still have the receipt-”

“y/n, can i please shut you up with a kiss?”

“i-” you gulped, nodding at him before he leaned into a passionate kiss, letting his arms pull you in closer as you run your hands through his hair.

“it’s perfect, okay? more than perfect, wow.” jj breathed out, pecking your lips once more before letting his fingers glide over the smooth material of the board. “i don’t think i can beat this.”

“what do you mean?” you asked.

“what? you think you’re the only one who bought a gift?”

“you’re the best girlfriend anyone can ever ask for, d’you know that?” he opened his arms out to invite you in for a hug, and when you didn’t hesitate to step forward, he wrapped his arms around you. “you’re my best girl.”

he pulled away slightly, just enough to grab your gift from his pocket. it was a vintage heart-shaped locket he’s been saving up for months now.

“oh, jj, it’s gorgeous.” you stared at it in awe, jj’s smile reciprocating your soft one. “does it open?”

“as a matter of fact, it does.” he opened the locket with a faint click, featuring your favorite picture of the both of you.

“oh, god,” you rasped, looking up at the starry sky to prevent the tears from falling.

“do… do you like it?” jj asked hesitantly.

“jj, i love it.” you smiled at him in disbelief.

jj smiled in triumph before getting behind you, carefully moving your hair aside and planting a chaste kiss on the bare skin. he delicately fastened the locket around your neck and stepped back to admire the jewelry adorned on you.

his gaze slowly fell back into your eyes, feeling as if time was slowing down as the both of you stared at each other with the same sense of adoration and belonging.

there are no words to describe how much you feel about jj, so you just smiled sheepishly and said, “i got you more gifts, by the way…”

“y/n,” he whined, squishing your cheeks in his hands. “you spoil me too much, baby,”

“oh, i guess you don’t want the limited edition flavor of the all seasons ice cream then?” you asked innocently, intertwining your hand in his.

jj’s eyes widened, gripping onto your hand tighter as he dragged you towards the twinkie. “JOHN B!! Y/N BROUGHT ICE CREAM!!”

Fuck Feelings ( JJ Maybank)

Pairing: JJ x Character

Inspired by: the song Heather- Conan Gray

Summary: Rose(character) is heartbroken because JJ has a girlfriend and she is trying to hide it. When it is revealed things between JJ and her get pretty heated

I sat at the old couch, at John B's house, mumbling a new rhythm for the song I was currently writing, with my guitar, right next to me. I remember my self having a passion for writing, since I was a little girl. I would always make up short stories of any kind and write them down in the notebook, I always carried with me. Later, at the age of 12, I discovered my hidden talent in music and had my parents buy me a guitar and pay for guitar lessons. So here I am, heartbroken, sitting on my own in John B' s living room, while my friends are outside enjoying their beer, doing the thing I love the most. Combining music with writing. It helps me take a break and relax, without thinking about my problems and how miserable I feel Without thinking about my parents, who I haven't seen in a month, because they are currently travelling around Europe, in order to "bring the spirit back to their relationship", as they told me when they announced me, that they were leaving. Without thinking about the blonde boy, who is sitting outside with his girlfriend, making my heart break in small pieces. I continue writing my song. It is inspired by him. Why would you ever kiss me? I am not even half as pretty, I am writing, remembering our kiss last week. Really though, why would he kiss me, when he had feelings for someome else? For Melissa. And why would he see me as something more than a friend, when he had her? God she is pretty...And I am nothing compared to her. Melissa moved here, in Outer Banks, about a month ago and from the moment JJ saw her, I could tell he was fascinated by her. Why blame him though? With her long red hair and her ice blue eyes, she looks like a damn godess. No wonder why he was immidiately attracted to her. They have been dating for about a week now. Six days to be precise. I haven't spoken to JJ since our steamy momemt at the beach last Saturday. That kiss meant everything to me, but apperantly nothing to him, considering the fact, that he asked Melissa out the next morning.

A few taps on the window bring me back to reality. I lift my head only to see Kiara tapping on the window, urging me to come outside. And so do I. I know it isn't a really good idea, but what else can I possibly do? As soon as I step outside, I am offered a beer from John B. "Finally my favorite Kook showed up" he says offering me a warm smile. "Hey, I thought I was your favorite one!" Sarah says with a fake hurt look on her face. I smile as John B leans in, connecting his lips to hers, kissing her sweetly "Always", he whispers. I catch my shelf smiling again at the way John B shows his affection for Sarah. I amhappy for them, because I've known Sarah for my whole life and she is one of my best friends, since she lives next door. John B and JJ have been my best friends since 3rd grade, when I met them at the beach. We've been inseparable since then. Later we became really close friends with Pope and Kiara too and now Sarah is part of our group too, despite her differences with Kiara, which are now solved. My feelings towards JJ changed, however. I want more from him and I thought he wanted too, with the constant touches and need to protect me and then that kiss. But as it turned out, JJ 's feelings were not mutual. My happines for the relationship of my friends is overshadowed by the feeling of a gap in my chest. I feel empty without JJ' s touch, without his kisses. I know of course, that I can not have that with him. "What were you doing in there for so long, Rose?", Pope asks me. "Just writing a new song", I reply while shrugging. I don't want it to seem like a big deal, because the lyrics are really personal. "I am already done with the music, but the lyrics are not finished yet". "Oh can I read it?", Pope asks with excitement in his voice. He is always hyping me up whenever I write a new song and he is always the first one to read it when it is finished, but I don't want anyone to lay eyes on this one. It is too personal. "No, not yet. Only when it's done. You know me", I reply chuckling so that I can sound cool and act like nothing is making me uncomfortable about this whole situation. I feel a cold breeze. " I am cold", I say, not really expecting a reply or something. Just to change the subject. "Yeah, me too.", says Melissa, with her annoyning voice. Why is she here again? Is she becoming part of our group now? JJ takes his hoodie off, revealing his grey sleevless shirt, underneath it. He takes it and offers it to her. Ouch...that hurt...I look away, as she takes it in her hands, ready to wear it. Sarah notices and gives me her "we'll talk about it later" look

Suddenly a rush of insiration hits me and I quickly grab my pen and notebook to add a few more lyrics. You gave her your sweater. It's just polyester, but you like her better. I wish I were Heather. I write concentrated, while a tear escapes my eyes. These lyrics describe my emotions. I am in a bad mental state. I want to be Melissa so bad. I want to be the one JJ hugs and kisses. I love him so much, but I am not good enough.

Looking up, I realisedJJ is eyeing me, a confused look on his beautiful face. Oh, he is so handsome. This is the first time I look at him in a week. I missed seeing his expressions change and I missed starring at those gorgeous blue eyes, I so much love. "Hey", John B says, "what's wrong Rose?". I do not reply, trying to stop the other tears that escape my eyes. But I can't. It isn't like me to show my emotions like this. I don't bother the others with the way I feel. Somehow, however JJ can always understand it, when something is wrong and we always discuss it privately. But this time I can't talk to him about any of it. "It's that thing you're writing, isn't it Williams?" JJ asks, calling me by my last name as usual. "It's none of your bussiness", I answer with a harsh tone. JJ' s eyes widen by my sudden outburst towards him. If he only knew how much damage he had done to me, he wouldn't be. "Give it to me. I wanna see it.", he demands. "NO!", I respond yelling, while more tears begin to run on my cheeks. "What the fuck is up with you Williams ? You stop talking to me for a week and now you will not let me read what you're writing. Do you think this is okay?", JJ snaps too, yelling at me, looking me straight in the eye. "Like you care about me not talking to you", I say sarcasticaly in a much lower voice. "Of course I fucking care Williams. You would not even look at me the entire time. Why?" "Why do you fucking care? You don't need me anyway, now that you have found a girlfriend, do you?" I know how jealous I sound, but i can't help it anymore. My four friends and Melissa look at as confused, although the last one looks pretty annoyed too. "Is that it? You act all weird because I have a girl? Or because that girl isn't you? It's the kiss, isn't it? Are you jealous Rosalie?",JJ replies with a tone of brag in his voice. He is being so mean and arrogant right now, like my feelings don't matter. He knows how I feel, but he doesn't care. This hurts. A lot. And the fact that he used my whole name, makes it worse, because I can tell how serious this is. All five of the others gasp when the hear about our kiss. "What the fuck?", Melissa starts talikng. "You want my man, bitch? Well it ain't gonna happen. He's mine.", she says looking at me. I give her a deadly stare, unable to speak. But it is good enough, cause if looks could kill, she would now be dead. I see as JJ turns around to look at his so called hirlfriend, his face red drom anger. "I am not a fucking object you can call your own!", he yells at Melissa. Her eyes open widely, scared of his angry outburst. John B interfears, trying to calm him down, but JJ, just pushes him away, turning his gaze towards me again. "Well", he says, "I am waiting for an answer Rosalie", he tells me angrily. I just stare at him, words unable to escape my mouth. "I...I am...I gotta go", I mumble looking away. "Rose", I hearKiara and Sarah say in unision, but I don't turn to look at them, alredy imagining the looks of pity for me im their eyes. I quickly leave John B' s house, while hearing him and my two girl best friends yelling at me to come back. I start running, in order to go home. I need to get away from here as quickly as possible. Oh, how emotionaly exhausted I feel...

How long have you been roleplaying?

Honestly, I remember starting out way back when Bebo was a thing. You’d make a profile for a character and write opposite absolutely anyone, even if it was multiple muns writing the same muse. Then the first Tumblr rp I joined was actually a Skins/Glee crossover, which is a wild idea, but it worked. I played Sid in a Sid/Quinn ship, I think.

What are your hobbies outside of writing?

I like to make my own clothes when I get the time ( which is now ), but while I’m working, on a normal day...does going to the pub with friends count? Because that’s 80% of my life.

Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!

Really interesting answer: no.

If you had a month of free time to learn to do something new, what would you choose?

I’ve had a few guitars for literally years because I keep meaning to teach myself, but I’ve never got past learning one song. Seven Nation Army by White Stripes - like, the ultimate beginners song.

Do you listen to music while you write? What are three songs on your playlist?

While I’m writing paras I literally can’t concentrate with music on or I’ll start bopping. But normal gif chats, yes. At the moment I’m listening to a lot of Sticky Fingers, Ocean Alley and Husky.

What’s a favorite recent youtube video/channel?

I actually never used to watch YouTubers until @jocklowden informed me there was one who looked like my main man, now I’m low key attracted to Kurtis Conner and watch his from time to time.

I once got so close to meeting Evan at Universal Studios that I anxiously threw up and never got to :):):)

Who is an FC you’ve always wanted to use but haven’t yet?

There are a couple of actors I personally love the work of but aren’t very well known, like Toby Wallace ( The Society ), Rudy Pankow ( Outer Banks ) and Glen Powell ( Scream Queens, Set It Up ). If you’ve noticed I prefer to write males, it’s because I prefer to stretch further away from real life.

What’s a plot you’ve always wanted to write but haven’t yet?

Something a bit more fictional, recently I’ve stuck to hollywood groups but I’ve always wanted to try something apocalyptic. Also anything with @liliricnhart and @itskjapa please, as I’m the worst and unintentionally bailed while I had fun threads/connections going with them.

Do you have a favorite plot you’ve seen someone else in the group do?

I loved the development of @hqnessa and @drewhq back when they were a thing, with all the drama that came along with them thanks to Drew’s ex faking a pregnancy, and getting to be even minorly involved in that as Jordan was definitely a fun time.

Who on the dash makes you smile?

Literally everyone. Impossible to pick. You all have your moments where I read the posts, laugh along with them, or enjoy getting to see things play out for everyone’s muses.

What is your favorite memory in the group?

Realising that amongst all of my threads and paras with @goodlourd that Billie and Evan had chemistry that went way beyond being just good friends. Though they’re two muses people wouldn’t ever think to put together considering their close ties to Emma, it’s made me realise they would work insanely well, and getting to play everything out with Maree and Lex ( @emberts ) , who I’m super close to OOC, has been a treat.

Also @alxdaddarios trying to avoid the feels for Zac by sleeping with Evan, then being taken back to Zac/Evan’s shared room on the Hawaii trip was pretty spectacular. And Jofia going against all the odds to get together, it was like those two against the world @hqsofia .

What’s your favorite thing about your celeb(s)?

For Evan, I love the fact that he really doesn’t give a shit. He hasn’t changed one bit from his starting out days, to now when he’s much more well known. He doesn’t seem to care about making himself more Hollywood - he’ll show up on the red carpet in the goofiest things, lead impromptu karaoke sing-a-longs during panels, follows stoner blogs on his public accounts, and chats to fans when he’s drunk in bars. And I love getting to follow his example, much to his best friends dismay ( @joekcery @hqgemma )

For Nick, I love that he’s so unexpectedly hilarious. Everyone always says they’re surprised by how witty he is. He’s the perfect mixture of an intelligent gentleman who clearly doesn’t take himself too seriously. And those eyes, though.

What’s a plot you miss?

Forever Fernrock. Alice and I didn’t even get to touch on nearly as much as we wanted to with those two, but they had the potential to be something really great. To the point where we still ship them now, in real life. Just waiting for Finn to realize he likes dudes. Or, a dude. @ariagrans

What would you love to see this group do in the future?

More AU weeks! They’re my favourite. They’re opportunities to write with people we don’t usually write with, in so many different scenarios, and I love getting to see who comes out with what. Shoutout to @itsnataliadyr , you know why.

Hii, this is sooo random, but whatever I‘m just gonna start with a preview for a story I‘ve had in mind for quite some time now...

Painting classes

Rosalie always wanted to study Art in London - and always tried to achieve that dream. All her life, she never found time for love. Well that soon changed when she was surprised by it during one very interesting art class where she first met Rudy.

Do you guys think this could be an interesting story? I‘m not really experienced with any of this and English isn’t even my first language. I have never written fan fiction or even a lot of normal storys before but I‘d really like to gobe it a try... I feel like it could be really interesting and exciting to read about Rudy and Rosalie falling in love through their passion of Art and them sharing weird funny stories during the lesson. What do you think?😊let me know
