I just started playing rugby!! I’m loving it so far! What positions does the krew play? I mean, from what I remember from wtstu, I’m assuming asami is a winger or another back.

So, I see Asami as inside center (#11). She also subs in at fly-half (#10) sometimes but I think she prefers not to do the thinking/play-calling but rather just execute aggressively. And I’m sure she’s played 2nd row in a pinch and chooses to prop when she plays 7s.

I imagined Opal not as a rugby player at all but rather as Asami’s number one fan and an eager plus one for all the shindigs. But if she were to play I think she’d make an excellent scrummie (#9).

Bo is in the tight five, front row. Probably hook (#2) if he had to choose but anywhere would work for him. He would also probably make a killer #8 on a team of larger players.

Mako’s a bit harder… I’d put him in the back line. Instinct is fullback (#15) but I also think he’d be really effective at wing. Actually yeah, maybe a really really fast wing (#13 or #14).

The Krew, arguing about sports:

Mako: “So let me get this straight, soccer is called football in Canada?”

Korra: “Yes, but it’s also called that in a lot of other countries too. Most people still call it soccer, but I’ve always preferred football.”

Asami & Bolin facepalm, while saying: “Oh, god, don’t get her started…”

Mako: “Why though?”

Korra: *scoffs* “What do you mean, why? Because it’s football. You’re using your feet pretty much the entire time. It makes more sense than calling it ‘soccer.’”

Mako: “We call it that because we already have a sport called football.”

Korra: “Which makes no sense! You barely ever kick the ball in that game. Hand-egg would be a better name for it. Football is just an Americanized version of rugby, only it’s less entertaining.”

Mako: “Speaking of not entertaining: What the hell is the point of hockey?”

Korra: “Oi, don’t you even think of speaking badly about hockey!”

Korra and Mako’s bickering continues while Asami and Bolin share an exasperated look.

Avatar and the Olympics

Which sports i think ours favs would be playing?

Aang: I think he would do athletics. More specifically, pole vault or long jump cuz boy likes to fly. Or maybe he would be one of the few poor people who gets to play equestrian cuz he is good with animals

Katara: That's a Gold medal in surfing. C'mon, she already did that on the show.

Sokka: Fencing, i mean he became a master on sword fight. He also is a leader, so he would do well in group sports. Maybe volleyball, since the decision making mid are fast and dynamic. And Sokka def has the energy to it.

Zuko: Fencing cuz he is already a sword master, just like Sokka

Azula: Archery because this is one that requires precision, patience, calm and perfection. And arrows are beautiful but letal, just like Azula.

Suki: I think she also would fit Fencing but since she is great working in a group, I also think of her as a leader of a group sport that requires lots of team work, precision , strength and durability. Maybe soccer/football.

Toph: Weightlifting. Grl already likes to lift big ass rocks.

Ty Lee: Gymnastics. I don't think I need to elaborate more in this

Mai: To be fair I don't think she would be interested in the Olympics but since she like knifes, she would do Fencing

Korra: Some fight. But she likes to punch and kick a lot so it would be Boxing or Taekwondo. I would do with Boxing because i think she uses her fists more than her legs in her fights on the show.

Asami: She's rich so she would do some of the rich's people sports like fencing, equestrian, archery, tennis. I will choose Tennis because it can be played in double team, and Asami knows how to work in group, especially in a double team with another woman.

Mako: He's tall, first i think of Basketball but i remember he literally was a fight athlete in the show , and he used his legs a lot so i think he would play Taekwondo

Bolin: He is buff, strong, likes to working with a team. I think Rugby fits him, since I think he wouldn't have a problem with the takcles of the sport. Or, if he chooses fight, he would be a Wrestler, remember when he go for the double leg when fighting that old dude in pro bending back in episode 5 in Book1?
