I have been resurrected.

Got a random rush of motivation and inspiration at 3 am and made these sketches of some of my favorite bois.

Made a random Mizutsune and Silver Rathalos. The Nergigante is an OC of mine, named Ace, and as you can see he has some scars on his left eye. When he was just born he got into a fight with an Azure Rathalos that was patrolling the area, and it gave him a terrible wound. It healed rather quickly, but because of how bad the wound was the cells didn’t regenerate properly and left him a permanent scar. Other monsters get really confused when they see that him, a Nergigante, has a visible scar. It’s a fun story he can tell to others.

So I went and finished the Icebourne storyline.

Whoever designed the last two quests as back to back arena fights is a fucking dick.

So anyway. Ruiner Nergigante? Very enjoyable fight even with the arena setup. I won’t say I did flawlessly. I carted once. As it turns out near the very end - I don’t think the dragon had even 1k hp left and fell after two combos when I went back.

Now for the final boss. Just as I switched to thunder attack build I find myself fighting the game’s boss that’s completely immune to it. My damage output was basically halved for much of the fight as I only started carting in stage 3 when I had less than 10 minutes left.

Yes - stage 3. This damn wyrm has three stages in it’s fight and is a goddamn damage sponge.

First stage - as a rock monster - is actually enjoyable. A slow but resilient mighty glacier was kinda cool to fight with how many gimmicks he actually had despite such a simple concept.

Without the armor? It’s plain annoying with it’s ranged attack spam and rapid repositioning.

Yes - I had to re-do the fight. Switching my weapon with less than 10 minutes left made me fight more recklessly and Stage 3 is pure bullshit with it’s aoe ranged attacks that the monster can combine on top of it.

Frontal combined blast on top of it’s ultimate that blows up the entire arena? Who the fuck thought it’s a good idea?

Anyway - re-doing the fight with a fire weapon from the start made it much, much easier outside of Stage 3.

Now I don’t think I’ll try to kill this dragon solo again for quite a while.

Allmother Narwa vs Nergigante

Here is another request from one of my followers on Wattpad, hope everyone likes this one 💙😁.

A/N's Pov

Deep within the Coral Palace, a Nergigante emerges to eat Allmother Narwa who was recently defeated by hunters, little did the Nergigante know that it was still, but barely alive. As the Nergigante came closer to Allmother Narwa, it noticed that it was slightly moving, but the Nergigante still walks closer to it but cautiously.

Then suddenly, Allmother Narwa opened its eyes and looks at the Nergigante, seeing it as a threat, Allmother Narwa quickly got up and started floating upside down. Before the Nergigante could react, Allmother Narwa fired a lighting beam at it, inflicting a critical damage to it, but this Nergigante was a tough one, it quickly withstood the attack before planning for its attack.

Allmother Narwa then fired a lighting ball at the Nergigante but the Nergigante quickly dodged it before slamming its head to the ground to throw tons of deadly spikes at Allmother Narwa, unfortunately for Allmother Narwa one of the spikes stabbed one of its eyes, causing it to bleed profusely. This made Allmother Narwa completely angry, and it fired big lighting rings at the Nergigante, one of them managed to hit it but the Nergigante quickly resisted despite being staggered by it a little.

Allmother Narwa then decided to do its ultimate attack, it got in the middle of the arena before four dragonators came out of the ground and started to spin around the arena. It then spat out another lighting ball, but not at the Nergigante, it spat it to the ground, which caused the Nergigante to move towards it and to the four dragonators. But the Nergigante resisted the pull with all of its might before it realized that one of the dragonators came towards it, but with quick reflexes the Nergigante got on to the dragonator while holding on tightly before looking around the arena.

It continued to look around for a few more seconds before it saw four floating big rocks near Allmother Narwa, the Nergigante started to plan its attack. It then slowly climbed up on the dragonator that was still spinning to get closer to one of the floating big rocks, and it jumped on the closet one.

After the Nergigante had jumped on the rock, the dragonators came back down, the Nergigante looked up a bit to see Allmother Narwa doing its ultimate attack, but the Nergigante continued to stay on the big rock because it knew that Allmother Narwa was up to no good. Allmother Narwa then done its ultimate attack, but it soon realized that the Nergigante didn't get caught in it.

The Nergigante then roared while standing on its hind legs before flying and doing its dive bomb attack, which badly injured Allmother Narwa. While being badly wounded by the Nergigante's attack, the Nergigante climbed onto Allmother Narwa before using its spikes to cut through the egg sac while eating it, Allmother Narwa roared in pain before dying.

Now Allmother Narwa is actually dead now, and the Nergigante continues to eat before leaving the arena and to look for another elder dragon to prey on.
