I know we’re all out here making jokes about Aziraphale being miserable about The Paperwork, but honestly, Aziraphale is such an Acquisitions Guy™️, he is going to make everyone else miserable.

For those unfamiliar with the US military’s bullshit: Acquisition people are sticklers for the rules, but in a maliciously compliant way. These are people who a) understand this slide and b) call it the holy scriptures of the acquisitions corps:

Actual acq people I know:

Lt. Col who has a PhD in neurobiology and chose military acquisitions because “I like reading all the rules and regulations and then finding a way to do whatever I want anyway” (picture this with a measured smirk of someone who knows exactly how to fuck shit up)

To wit, same dude purposely fucked up a major contract because his phd allowed him to clock that it was bullshit, and he stood up to generals to do so. He was right.

One Star who was about to retire so he called a FAANG company’s bluff about not being able to provide X capability at Y cost by whipping out a contract from another department and then telling them to “sign the fucking deal”. They did.

Army human who needed to buy multiple planes but that was against the rules so he just bought one at a time. It is now an explicit rule that you cannot do this.

This is the vibe Aziraphale is going to bring to Heaven and I will brook no arguments.

T’Pring/Michael could be everything 

#Concepts: Forbidden love on many levels (arranged marriage - human/vulcan - my brother's future wife & my future husband's sister) #Both being bound by duty to follow strict rules - both as parts of HIGHLY prestigious families. Both have to be VERY careful with their #public personas. Both much less willing to buck tradition and do what they want than the people around them Ex: Spock - Sybok #(now is the time to tell you this is ALL brainspace and vibes as that's the way I like to think about Spock's family v_v) #Michael not really feeling much for T'Pring in the beginning but enjoying the fact that a Vulcan unrelated to her is so positive about #her...especially a Vulcan that her father views as logical and good. T'Pring's acceptance is like validation. #Meanwhile T'Pring enjoys that Michael enjoys being with her unlike Spock who doesn't really want to be married to her and thus can't find #it in himself to enjoy being around her (not that he's cruel just clearly unenthusiastic and reticent) #Both women eventually breaking free from their bonds and doing something for themselves (T'Pring breaking off the engagement and Michael uhh #I really don't know what she does in Disco. i'm starting a second d&d campaign where i'm the dm (i am, fortunately, a player in two other games) and one of my potential players hasn't sent me his background yet

we made his character sheet together two months ago.
