Four miles on a Monday. My body must’ve known it was Monday because I felt terrible at the beginning of this one. Going into mile 3, a complete 180. Almost got an 8-minute mile out of the deal. Love strong finishes, and I’ll take this one!

EXCELENTE REFLEXIÓN;

Tenemos que pensar en esta realidad que la mayoría olvidamos como si fuéramos eternos.

CUANDO MUERAS, no te preocupes por tu cuerpo... tus parientes, harán lo que sea necesario de acuerdo a sus posibilidades.

Ellos te quitaran la ropa, te van a lavar, te van a vestir, te van a sacar de tu casa y te llevarán a tu nueva dirección.

Muchos vendrán a tu funeral a "despedirse". Algunos cancelarán compromisos y hasta faltarán al trabajo para ir a tu funeral.

Tus pertenencias, hasta lo que no te gustaba prestar, serán vendidas, regaladas o quemadas.

Tus llaves, tus herramientas, tus libros, tus zapatos, tu ropa… Y ten por seguro que el mundo no se detendrá a llorar por ti. La economía continuará.

En tu trabajo, serás reemplazado. Alguien con las mismas o mejores capacidades, asumirá tu lugar.

Tus bienes irán a tus herederos.... Y no dudes que seguirás siendo citado, juzgado, cuestionado y criticado por las pequeñas y grandes cosas que en vida hiciste.

Las personas que te conocían solo por tu semblante dirán; Pobre hombre o mujer! o Él o ella se la pasaba muy bien!

Tus amigos sinceros van a llorar algunas horas o algunos días, pero luego regresarán a la risa.

Los "amigos" que te jalaban a las pachangas, se olvidarán de ti más rápido.

Tus animales se acostumbraran al nuevo dueño.

Tus fotos, por algún tiempo quedarán colgadas en la pared o seguirán sobre algún mueble, pero luego, tal vez serán guardadas en el fondo de un cajón. Y solo viviremos en el recuerdo de los que nos amaron.

Alguien más se sentará en tú sofá y comerá en tu mesa.

El dolor profundo en tu casa durará una semana, dos, un mes, dos, un año, dos... Después quedarás añadido a los recuerdos y entonces, tu historia terminó.

Terminó entre la gente, terminó aquí, terminó en este mundo.

Pero comienza tu historia en tu nueva realidad... en tu vida después de la muerte.

Tu vida a donde no te pudiste mudar con las cosas de aquí porque además, al irte, perdieron el valor que tenían.

Lo sabías?

¿Sabías que la Piedra del Sol, también conocida como el Calendario Azteca, tuvo un viaje increíble desde su descubrimiento hasta su lugar actual en el Museo de Antropología? Esta pieza monumental, que pesa más de 24 toneladas y mide casi 4 metros de diámetro, fue creada por los mexicas en el siglo XV y representa su visión del cosmos y el tiempo. Sin embargo, tras la conquista española, la piedra fue enterrada y olvidada por más de dos siglos, hasta que unos obreros la encontraron en 1790 al sur de la Plaza Mayor de la Ciudad de México. Después de ser exhibida en varios lugares, la piedra fue trasladada al Museo Nacional en 1885, donde permaneció hasta 1967. Ese año, se decidió llevarla al recién inaugurado Museo de Antropología, donde se le construyó una sala especial dedicada a la cultura mexica. El traslado fue todo un acontecimiento, pues se necesitó una grúa gigante, un camión especial y un operativo de seguridad para mover la piedra por las calles de la ciudad. Aquí te compartimos una foto de ese momento histórico, que ocurrió el 27 de junio de 1967. ¡No te pierdas la oportunidad de admirar esta obra maestra del arte prehispánico en tu próxima visita al museo!
