Ever since I read about feminism on radblr, I saw a couple posts about the misogynistic aspects of Drag culture and it really opened my eyes and made me question a lot more about it.
What I realized beforehand and what ties in to the discussion is how accepted and loved RuPaul's Drag Race is for example, and that is presumably because it exclusively shows men.
The Drag queens are catty, petty, shady, hyperfeminine etc. and everyone loves it. But on the other hand:
if women had such a show, it would probably be labeled as bitchy, naggy, drama fueled, arrogant,... you name it.
Please feel free to share your thoughts and opinions about Drag and RuPaul's Drag Race from the feminist perspective.
