@yukiofthedeep submitted: Found this dude in Kolkata. He's so red but I can't adequately convey it with my camera. I wanna put him in my mouth like a cinnamon TicTac
Ooooooooooh I also want to pop this friend into my mouth like a cinnamon tic tac but let's both not do that because usually bugs don't like it. However we can admire their beauty!! And this one is very good, 10/10 outfit. Looks like a rusty millipede, Trigoniulus corallinus :)

I woke up hours before anyone else and it’s still dark out so what I’m gonna do is work on my spooky artwork on my laptop in my car in the spooky woods while I also play a spooky movie here in the middle of October.
Anyone I live with sees this I won’t be far away it’s just the place with the two dead weird trees on their sides, all the rotten stumps full of millipedes and the rusty abandoned washing machine, I’m sure this won’t be the last post I ever make there’s nothing out there but whatever makes that one weird noise we thought was a bird but couldn’t figure out the bird
This place!!!!

Hello! My fiance has requested a pic of the millipede to help identify it. If you plan on keeping it of course. He says keep it moist (the enclosure). Take a walk in some woods (or areas that have not been sprayed by pesticides) and get decaying, soft wood to keep in the enclosure (wood that crumbles in your hand). Chunks of carrot work. Get it some soft soil and some dry fallen leaves. Rip those up and mix them into its soil. It will likely want to burrow so you'll find it can disappear from time to time. If we figure out the species for you, we'll have more info (because some species can't be kept very well.) I'll keep an eye on my notifications for when you respond. I don't otherwise use this blog haha. My fiance and I both raise bugs and some of them are millipedes and centipedes, so we can always help.
I know holding them isn't ideal (I don't plan on making a habit of it if I keep it) but these are literally the only two photos I could get that my phone didn't wash out the colors on. Brownish grey with rusty orange bands and red legs.

there were a bunch of rusty millipedes (Trigoniulus corallinus) in the gardens the other day and I went hog fucking wild scooping em up by the handful because I have a big tank full of dirt with nothing in it and I've always loved millipedes
I caught around a hundred of them in this hubris-fueled peed frenzy
anyway I come home and set the Peed Box down in my room and went to cut up some produce in the fridge that are starting to go south cause I wanted to give them some to snack on and I got distracted because I was so absorbed in the Peed Hunt that i forgot to eat a real human dinner and long story short I forgot to dump the smaller, sealed, box of dirt with the millipedes into the bigger tank of dirt
The problem? I have 3 cats who Love dirt
The next morning I awoke peacefully, a little earlier than usual
I opened my eyes and was greeted with a big red bug on the ceiling
It was a peedpocalypse
There were peeds on the ceiling there were peeds in the bed there were peeds up the walls and in the laundry and in the bathroom
My cats are totally uninterested in them and are no help in locating more despite their usual tendency to immediately locate any bug in the room and scream at it until I come and take it outside (thankfully this means I dont have to worry about them eating them, since they are indeed toxic)
I spent the first half of the day catching peeds and it still wasnt enough
I've been finding peeds for days
Every time I think I'm safe and I've finally caught them all i look up and theres another one on the fucking ceiling
I wanted peeds
and peeds I got
