A - area 69. This is a goofy one about Billy’s friends trying to treat him for his birthday by buying a lap dance from stripper heather, but of course they are both gay so it doesn’t go as planned. I’ve got such a soft spot for this however cause its got Steve as an ambulance driver and ugh if that isn’t so perfect and sexy for him.

T - to have and to hold. Vampire Steve being obsessed and stalking human billy. Part of my TWO VAMPIRE AU!!! I love them so much. Got to write more soon.

H - he ain’t me, baby. A season 4 idea of billy coming back to find Steve with a new cute long haired metal boyfriend in a band, and getting very jealous about it. I miss this fic.

A - a little bit of last minute Christmas shopping. Made for the Harringrove holiday exchange last year. It’s a cute misunderstanding that ends in a fluffy first kiss. Also Steve in an elf costume😻

R - real pretty things by rvspberry. This was a valentines gift by my bestie Jonas who wrote Steve in lingerie body worship 🖤🖤 what’s better than this?

Out of the 90 fics that I've read (checked my bookmarks :D), I chose this one:

All I Want For Christmas (Is You) by rvspberry

It's a very heart-warming story, has wonderfully fleshed out side characters (is kinder to them than canon is) and is really both sweet and hot. It also deals well with Johnny's and Daniel's past (this one takes place in the 90s). Overall very much my definition of a comfort fic.

All I Want For Christmas (Is You) - Rated E (<58k)

Daniel’s turning 30 soon, and he’s getting his life together to fulfill a lifelong dream: opening a bakery to sell his prized family recipes. He’s even found the perfect building in the tiny town of Moonridge next to Big Bear Lake. It’s a big move for him and for Mr. Miyagi, who is spending the holidays in Japan taking care of his own lifelong dreams while Daniel gets everything else taken care of to open the bakery.

The only problem with Daniel's dream is that someone very familiar also has their eye on the same building: none other than his former high school rival and bully, Johnny Lawrence.

As a series of mishaps and run-ins have them growing closer while Christmas looms on the horizon, it’s up to Johnny and Daniel to work together and win the hearts of the city council by helping Moonridge win a Christmas festival competition for the first time ever.

12, 13, 14, & 25 for the end of year fic asks!

12. favorite character to write about this year

To some, the predictable answer's either Johnny, Daniel, Hawk, or Demetri, right. But I don't feel like answering either of them in this one, so I'm flat out saying it's Miguel. When I wrote You Can't Handle (Somebody Loving You) for Valentine's Day, I knew right then and there that Miguel had to play an integral role in giving the "Demetri's got a secret admirer and Hawk doesn't want him to know it was him" plot more kicks to it, and Miguel's such a precious bean in general, it was not hard to make it happen. Like, why shouldn't I make it happen, right. Also for the fact that I generally love deuteragonists because they're the sprinkles on a very beautiful cupcake. Very tasty.

13. favorite writing song/artist/album of this year

SADE. God. I tried to get her out of my head for two months, stopped at around July, maybe, then immediately went back to her. There's also Supertramp, around the same time the Sade effect was dying down. Don't know, I just feel sexy, really.

14. a fic you didn’t expect to write

Answered this one here, but to add to that answer, I didn't expect to write drabbles during the second half of this year, but thanks to @allvalley100 I think I have tons of different ideas to choose from if ever I wanted to make a longer version of my entries.

25. a fic you read this year you would recommend everyone read

I haven't been updating my fic radar these days but I have been squeezing one or two oneshots now and then, so this is tricky! Another one I'd recommend, aside from deputychairman's, is On Hold by @phantomcomet. Now, I don't normally ready porn-centric fics unless there's a plot to it (though I do read PWP, just not as often), but I like like phone sex as a genre. It's what I've recently discovered too, and Warren makes it flow very naturally, very hilariously, and I just go red over how embarrassing it is for the both of them to be caught in that situation.

I made this for @rvspberry‘s fic No Good Reasons, for which I am at least somewhat responsible, hahahaha, and basically just to say... happy birthday @rvspberry, you are a truly sweet and wonderful friend and an awesome person, and thank you for all of the hard work you do for keeping our amazing server going! You are the best (around)! 

I also made a startling discovery while drawing this: they match. They MATCH. They match each other more than anyone else at prom! Is it really a crackship anymore if that’s the case??? (It IS, but... idk anymore hahahahahaha, that is the true danger of crackships, that’s what happens, they become real ships before you even realize it...)

You’ll be doin’ all right with your Christmas of white. (4K words competed, teen)

“Can’t believe I let you talk me into this damn thing!” Billy shouted from inside the dark living room.

Steve dropped his own jacket to his elbows. Shaking out his hair a little, just to feel the way the air moves it. “It’s Christmas,” he muttered to himself.

“I know you’re going to say ‘it’s Christmas, grinch, try having a heart’ or some shit,” Billy kept going. His words were interrupted sometimes by a grunt. “That’s why I let you talk me into this in the first place though. You’re going to have to come up with better blackmail, pretty boy!”

Steve slid his hands against the wall. Of course, the switches haven’t changed. Their well worn knotted wood felt smaller under his fingers as he flicked them on.

Billy turned to him then, hat fully off and on the ground, holding up the tree where it was slumped against one wall yet still taller than him. He had a grimace on his face. And Steve just smiled.

“Oh, I’ve got blackmail,” Steve said cheekily.

“Yeah,” Billy nodded, smiling along, “do you happen to have a tree stand with that?”

My fic for the Harringrove holiday exchange 2021✨🎄 I’m not gonna lie I struggled with this one. Went down to the wire on it. As one does. But with wonderful advice from my friends @shewritesdirty @rvspberry and @heck-in-a-handbasket I bundled down with some inspiration and let my heart pour out into this one. I’m a little proud of it. You can be my lover and my rival is a fic I'm writing for @idontknowkaratebutiknowcrazy. In a word: titfucking. That's it that's the fic fhghg

See, Daniel wasn't lying all that time ago when he told Amanda that he hadn't called Johnny Lawrence a pretty boy.

But he had maybe implied it. Implied it in the way where he couldn't seem to stop talking about stereotypically good looks or soft looking shiny hair or a muscled body moving with unprecedented and purposeful feline grace, but only when it was on the attack.

Whatever. The point is, Daniel wasn't unaware that Johnny was a good looking guy back in the 80s, and he's even less unaware of how well he aged, despite the alcoholism and terrible diet and general downward spiral over the past thirty or so years.

🤌📦 is the "perfect package" fic. Some time ago, @rvspberry asked me to send him some emojis so he could base a fic off them, and those are the ones I sent. He wrote this and dedicated it to me, and so naturally I must return the favor 💛

When Daniel asked him later, "Seriously though, why were you opening my mail," Johnny still didn't really have an answer. The mail guy brought the package to Daniel's house, so obviously it wasn't something for Johnny. Just because Daniel had been looking for something in another part of the house and Johnny had been the one to answer the door didn't suddenly make it Johnny's mail. And even if he was living there, the package clearly said TO: DANIEL LARUSSO.

If the package had been for Amanda, or one of Daniel's kids, Johnny would have left it alone. Wouldn't have given it any more thought besides teasing Daniel about "secret mail your family's getting," just to hear him say, "Would you grow up, Johnny," like he wasn't just as much of a kid sometimes.

Johnny Lawrence is the captain of the king’s personal guard, the Cobra Kai. When he catches some scrawny punk roaming the private gardens, he takes Daniel LaRusso captive - both to figure out what his plan is, and to save this twerp from being executed for treason.

Turns out, Johnny just captured the leader of the rebel resistance movement, Miyagi-Do… and though he’s been raised a Cobra, Johnny can’t help but start to question everything he knows about the King Silver and his right hand, Johnny’s own mentor, John Kreese.

Aaaaahhhh, we made it!! My entry for the @harringrovebigbang is fully posted!

A huge thank you to @thedogsled and @peachesnplummet, who were wonderful to collaborate with and super patient with my very messy writing process. You can see the art for this fic HERE and the moodboard for it HERE! Go look at both because they are FANTASTIC.  

Another huge thank you to keziahrain, @roseszain, and @rvspberry who provided fantastic feedback that made this fic much better. 

This is the longest thing I’ve ever finished (SO FAR--I have big dreams), and I love it so much more than I thought I was going to about a week ago. 

Over a year after Starcourt, it turns out Billy is alive. It's a surprise that ranks somewhere between that one time Billy kissed Steve right before Starcourt, and the time Hopper came back from the dead. Or from Russia, actually. Steve assumes that Billy is done with Hawkins and everything in it, so he tries to move on. And then the first postcard arrives. 

Billy never expected to wake up after Starcourt, and especially not in a secret lab somewhere. He’s not the same person he used to be, and he’s not sure where to go from here. As he embarks on the process of healing, he finds that he can’t quite leave everything from his past behind.
