JNPR Vacuo Outfits

I kind of had a dilemma with Jaune's outfit, since I just know that armor is not going to feel very comfortable under the blazing heat of the desert. In the end, I made it so that his chestplate is embedded with ice dust that cools him off (dust-infused clothing again). They are visually represented by those leaves(?) patterns. Also they could be good for ramming against enemies

Also I hate drawing shoelaces if you can't tell

Oscar Pine Redesign/Rewrite

(Note: I do like Oscar how he is, he is my favorite character, but I wanted to do something fun because midterms are kicking my ass and if I have to use more brain cells towards my academics without a break I will lose it.)

So… I made him a fox Faunus, not only because we only have one in the main cast, but because it would be interesting. (And even more adorable)

He’s a little more imaginative here, while still carrying his sarcastic humor/streak. I decided to double up his fairytale inspirations with The Little Prince and his original Tip! I also added some actual pine green because not only does it look good with the orange but because HIS NAME IS OSCAR PINE! PINE!!

I also thought of the idea that he got his last name from his mother, a huntress who decided to retire when she gave birth to her only child, only to pass away after defending that son from a Grimm attack. Everything other than that is about the same, works on a farm, lives with his aunt, but has more respect for hunters/huntresses.

Okay, I get that his magic is supposed to be his semblance, but dang it, I wanna explore the possibility of him having a semblance but it going out of wack because of the sudden invasion of magic.

(The name is a work in progress.)

He got his semblance not long after he lost his mom, out of the wish to be able to save a couple of minutes with the people he cares about. (Also because I like the idea of semblances reflecting some kind of trauma idk call me a weird psychology major) When he stops time, he has to be touching someone or something so they can still move around.

In this au, both Oz and Qrow kinda loosely fill the roles of Faye and Kratos, while Oscar's role is mostly like Atreus. Oobleck and Port are like Brok and Sindri, but I have yet to draw them

Ruby: *walks in* What's going on here?

Nora stops hugging Jaune and steps aside. Jaune takes the backpack from her and heads towards the hallway.

As he walks into the hallway he sees Ren and Oscar leaning against the wall.

Jaune: I assume you guys heard what happened.

Ren: *Nods*

Oscar: Please take this with you.

he gives Jaune a polaroid with all his friends.

Oscar: Just in case you feel lonely.

Jaune: *Smiles* Thank you.

Ren: I'm sorry Jaune.

Jaune: Sorry for what?

Ren: I don't know, for everything.

Jaune: I see, well don't worry about.

Ren: Be safe.

Jaune: I will

Jaune leaves the two behind and walks towards the exit. Once outside he walks north. After a few moments he stops in the middle of the road.

Jaune: You know, I planned this trip with the idea of being alone.

Emerald: *Using her semblance she appeared near him with a backpack* How did you know I was following you?

Jaune: When you have a murderous monster hunting you, you learn a thing or two in the Ever After.

Emerald: Jeez dude, good way to light up the mood.

Jaune: Well, why don't you go back to the others?

Emerald: You're not my boss.
