Feel free to not answer this but I was just wondering....

You have recently been talking about how much working with RT sucks, but you keep announcing projects you've recently done with them since you left the company. Why do you continue to work with them post-leaving?

Or did all of these occur before you left and they are only now coming out?

I’m assuming this isn’t a malicious ask and is just one that is mostly uninformed, so I’ll answer.

Animation, video games, etc take years to make. So there are things I worked on while I was still at Rooster Teeth that have NOT been released yet. That’s just kinda how things work.

Video games and animation take years to make, before you even see an announcement for something a project is likely half finished or more.

Such as: Voicing in BENEATH (came out post me leaving), Script Supervisor/Casting for RWBY: Arrowfell (came out yesterday), Script Supervisor for multiple Death Battle episodes, and Script Supervisor for RWBY 9 and the RWBY/JL stuff.

My work was done in 2020/2021 for RWBY Arrowfell, Beneath, V9, RWBY/JL, and DB. So if you see me credited for something, it was AGES ago that I worked on it.

Also, like I said, they didn’t credit me for my work so I’m kind of pissed off about it, AND it doesn’t even look like they credited the RT Anim 3D Team for any of the work they did on the cutscenes for Arrowfell at all.

Which, AGAIN, is par for the course because they STOPPED CREDITING THE PEOPLE WHO WORK ON RED VS BLUE as of the most recent seasons. Zero and FS were actually the ONLY two seasons to credit folks EVERY EPISODE for that series. Before that RvB didn’t credit properly and now it doesn’t credit AT ALL.

Additionally, I have stated many times that I openly refuse to reprise any roles for any RT series. And yes that includes RWBY and includes me saying “I will never voice May Marigold again”.

I have also mentioned this on my Twitch streams, multiple times, because folks don’t understand that production takes a very very very long time.

I will never, EVER, work on a Rooster Teeth project again. I will never work with any of the management, upper management, or higher ups at that company ever again.

To the folks who are still stuck there, doing the actual real work, being paid next to nothing, not being given proper benefits, and being forced to work long hours without any overtime pay, I say this:

I hope you find a new job soon, get out of there soon friends.

To those who were fans, like I was, who really dreamed of working at RT:

It was a nightmare beyond what you see being shared on social media. I mentioned that it was only “SOME” of what I went through, and the stories from others are just what they were comfortable sharing… there’s things we, as people who worked there, just don’t want to talk about because of how traumatic it was.

I remember stumbling on this look and thinking it was an edit, but then I realized it was something canon and, confusion aside, i was a big fan of it.

Yeah, unfortunately he's back to having bananas on his head but hopefully he'll let it grow, i saw these edits of how he would look if he was still young with that style and it looks great

Man I wish the White Fang had numerous community programs like the BPP did. It would've been super cool to see Adam and Blake interact with other faunus outside of missions and the WF. I like to imagine Adam volunteering to teach people self defense while Blake spends some down time teaching people how to read and maybe they're both banned from the kitchens because they accidentally started a small grease fire because they're used to cooking on the road and not with fancy dancy equipment

Awee of course!!! 🥺💕 This ship means the world to me and I don't know how to be quiet about it these days even if I tried, as evidenced by the fact this answer turned into a whole essay somehow uwu

V8 was when i first really joined the fandom/RG and it was rough. I was scared to admit I shipped it romantically for the longest time because of all the discourse/harassment and I know I am very much not alone in that feeling. For the longest time I was scared to even draw them kissing lest it incite something. But ffs I'm over it. This ship is cute as hell, has so much going for it in canon, and so much creative potential in fanon. I love analyzing their story and somehow still discovering old crumbs even after all this time. Not to mention all the new crumbs this volume has given us!! Feels more like a whole loaf of freshly baked bread than anything else!

Every single argument I've ever seen thrown against the ship in the last 2+ years has been made in bad faith, is a double standard not applied to other ships, or is easily debunkable. Some of the loudest RG antis have a terrible reputation even outside of our 'ship wars', and it actually become so easy to not notice or let it get to you when you block without remorse.

I can't really speak for tumblr as I've gotten not-so-good at interacting with people here recently and feel a bit disconnected from the community (aside from the stray asks/tags y'all send me which I always appreciate 💕). But I know on twitter we've had a handful of new artists and vocal shippers come out of the woodwork in light of the new volume that are flooding the tag with positivity, memes, and creations every day. I've seen multiple rival shippers admit that they have to 'prepare for when rg is canon' and they genuinely believe it. We've even got a few bigger RWBY youtubers standing up for us and shutting down that discourse when people try to stir the pot.

Also numbers aren't really indicative of anything on tumblr when reblogs are more scarce than ever, or on twitter where the algorithm is anyone's guess, but there are some rosegarden posts on this site from 2017 that hit over 4k notes. Some of my own rg pieces on other platforms breach 1-2k. Heck, even some of the metas that I have cross posted to twt have hit more than 600 likes.

There are so many rg shippers out there. And what I am seeing with v9 is a few things. First, any people joining the fandom anew that aren't aware of all the discourse fall into RG pretty easily without that bias being pushed on them.

And second, that when we are loud and we are enthusiastic and we are kind to each other... when we foster healthy and approachable community, that is how we tune out all the negativity, and that is when we have the most fun.

So i'm glad you appreciate all my yelling, and I am not trying to pressure anyone into speaking out or participating if they don't have it in them... but this is a very friendly reminder is always room for more of us out here 💕🌹🌲

You say you want Penny 3.0 to be robotic but, does Pieatro even have all the necessary materials to make her a new body?

First off, this is the one and only question of the form "but isn't there a reason Penny can't come back as a robot?" because I just do not like arguing with people about that topic.

Second, do they have the resources to make a human body for her? Last I heard the staff went with Salem and without the staff the only body anyone is capable of making for Penny is a robot one. If you're going to ask in-universe questions then the in-universe answer is that a robot body is quite literally the easiest option to accomplish.

Third, the point you bring up just does not matter. Like. At all. Penny's body and what it's made of is such a thematically loaded matter that it must be decided based on what fits the themes of her story best. And whatever answer the writers come up with, it's easy enough to find a way to make it happen.

Besides, what makes you think I expect Pietro to make her a new body?

They're in the Ever After, and we've seen the blacksmith who is obviously a robot, working on creating metal butterfly wings. We've seen the toy soldiers, who are again mechanical beings.

If anyone can make a body for Penny right now, it's the blacksmith, and they are clearly not a stranger to making robot bodies.

Okay I WOULD like for Emerald to be the Fall Maiden. BUT, do we really think she's gonna be the last person in Cinder's thoughts? The only females she'd think about are herself, Salem, and Ruby, unless it's a female killing her. So unless Emerald kills her....

I think it depends on the scenario where it happened!

For maximum drama Emerald would be present to see her die, and that alone ups the odds. Then Emerald could be in her final thoughts from either trying to save Cinder, even after everything that Cinder's done to her (because Emerald still struggles to let go, because Emerald has been shown what true caring is and wants to share it, a number of possible reasons) or maybe even because, like you said, Emerald herself was involved in Cinder dying.

Either way you could get a heart wrenching scene of these two confronting each other in that white space as the powers pass on, like Penny and Winter had but with a very different tone. No interruptions or outside influence. Just what Cinder thinks of Emerald and what Emerald thinks of Cinder.

And then, for better or for worse SORRY I JUST NOTICED I HAVE POLLS NOW Cinder will always be a part of Emerald now. Part of her past, but nonetheless part of how she got there. But even further back through that link of the magic, you can follow it back to Oz, who is Oscar, who is the person who reached out a hand to her to help her find a better life.

My favorite ship is Knightfall. Thoughts on the ship?

I like plenty of content this ship has produced although I don't ship it hard myself. I just don't ship Jaune with that many Characters other than Pyrrha. I'm not going to give the "they hate each other" reason because I ship Cinder with most her other rivels.

I'll give it a solid... 7/10, not my thing but it's really good.

For me Neo's sad face is like the reversed version of Timm Thaler's laugh, her sad face can really melt one's heart 😥

Note/Context: Timm Thaler is is a 1962 children's novel by German author James Krüss which was later adapted as a cartoon in 2002 where Timm Thaler sells his laugh, which convinces all people, to the rich nobleman Baron Lived(which is the Devil in disguise) for 66 bets. As soon as Timm bets someone in the sixth minute of each new hour, what he bet will happen, but Timm must not discuss his pact with with Baron with anyone or he would be instantly turned to stone
