thinking abt how we all think the dust robberies during the Beacon arc were just a scrapped plot of the series

but currently in the show, the kingdom of Atlas has been destroyed

and Atlas was the main source of dust to the rest of Remnant

meaning that in vol10 we might get to see Remnant dealing with an enormous dust shortage

which might be made worse by the fact that the enemy decided to hoarde a lot of it a few years prior

so perhaps there's a chance the plot wasn't as forgotten as we assumed??

Things that broke my heart, RWBY V9C5

CRWBY are coming for my heart in Volume 9.

The memory of Penny is following Ruby everywhere, but Ruby is still insistent she can handle her burdens alone. Then after she insists she is okay, we get a flash with Summer.

Ruby then giving up the broach that carries a mother's promise.

Weiss having flashbacks to the fall of Atlas. At least her team is there for her this time.

Jaune named the rabbit "Juniper." Not to mention the obvious that he is a rusted knight and has clearly been in the Ever After for some time.

And lastly, the team's excitement at meeting the rusted knight disappearing once they realized who it was.

If you recall chibi this happened. 

Now if you’ll recall the fairy tale little red riding hood

Essentially 

Ruby will listen to those self doubts and be ‘consumed’ and then it’s up to the hunts/woodsman (Weiss) to cut through those doubts and rescue Ruby who will be reborn.

Also in several versions of the fairy tale Red Riding Hood and the woodsman/huntsman end up married. So that’s potentially neat.

She’ll come out of the tree, and she’ll be Ruby Rose, same as ever
