Akira visits Ryuji a couple of months after his return to his hometown. He’s lovesick, and so is Ryuji.

Ryuji fucking races it to Akira the moment he sees him on Shibuya’s train platform. Runs, bear hugs, practically knocks him down— Is he wearing those stupid glasses again?

Akira is fussing because, hey, Morgana is in his bag, and he’s getting squished— but, also, he is not impartial to Ryuji’s PDA, especially when he comes nuzzling his hair and squeezing his waist.

Morgana, poor cat, faces horrors. The bus ride to Ryuji’s house is cramped, and so is his room. Add stinky, stinkier than a bus. Matters not to Akira, however, not when he’s kicking his shoes off and latching onto Ryuji the moment they’ve been granted privacy. Ryuji laughs against his mouth, whispers something along the lines of “well, hello, leader,” and Akira should be annoyed, if not horny.

Alas, Ryuji is hot, even if an idiot (he knows, too). He pushes Akira to bed, watches him stumble until his back hits the mattress, and, oh, Ryuji had almost forgotten how pretty he is. He has big and tired eyes, he’s pale and so, so kissable.

Akira’s arms wrap around Ryuji’s neck, and somewhere in himself he finds the strength to steel his nerves because—

“Come on, you guys, I’m still here?”

Akira wishes he had chosen a normal cat.

“Mona, out.” He grumbles, Morgana is a little shit, anyways, and if he gets kicked off the bed, it’s well deserved.

Ryuji is smiling at him, at his visible agitation— oh, how he missed him. He has flustered cheeks and his glasses are a bit foggy, just like Ryuji likes them, too.

“Aren’t you seeing Sojiro and Futaba?” Ryuji pants, hovering about his lover at a safe distance. He knows that smile.

“Came a day early.”
