As for my thoughts on the other characters, I love most of them actually!! I love love love Sakura!!! I especially love how well her character is structured: through design, through her backstory, through daily life and relations and even how well her name suits her lmao. I really like how she has a background where she was really sick as a child (till we meet her), and how her being a miko, nurse and counsellor (she has three fucking jobs and I love it) has her help others since she knows how it's like to have problems (physically or psychologically). Sakura counselling might be my favorite bit though, just seeing how she helps guide mostly the students is really nice and I wish it was appreciated more. And don't get me started on how she is the perfect straight man to the craziness of the others. She was part of the craziness at first (from her intro to her earliest nurse days, Ataru straight manned instead), but it seemed like RT thought Sakura straight manning was much better while Ataru was cemented as the funny man in their dynamic and it suits them so well. The sane Sakura having to deal with everyone's BS (esp Ataru's) is my favourite thing lol. I also really like her relationship with Tsubame, him being the dumb to her smarts.(The remake plays down Tsubame's idiocy btw and it disappoints me so so much) They're that one couple we all ship without knowing it lmao. The chapters which focus on them are really nice, esp that one with the ghost girl who interfered with them and Sakura got super jealous lmao, it we interesting side to see from her and it was really fun :)

Oh shit, I rambled so much about Sakura, I forgor this ask wasn't just about her, I'm so sorry lmao, she is in my top three UY gals for a reason XD

I think up next in UY blorboism to me (who aren't main characters) would be Asuka. Idk, I just love her, she is so cute and so silly. Ran's bipolar nature is so good and funny while her growing understanding and reconciling with Lum slowly is really sweet. Ryu is one of those characters who I wish was treated better because I feel like she deserves everything she wanted but her stupid father comes in the way. Ryunosuke's character is one of those things I wished was done better. Give her all the sailor suits, bras, swimsuits, skirts, etc. she wants!!

Cherry is really funny, like in a way he's basically Ryunosuke's dad but done so much better. The amount of moments where I've wheezed laughing cause of him is way too many too count. I like Kotatsu neko, he's cute and it's funny how he's one of the strongest characters!! Ryoko is another one I like because of how insane she is lmao and Inaba is so so sweet!! Ryunosuke was doing some studying when hearing the anon come back once more. They really wanted to know about his birthday present with Matt. Closing his book, he looks to the anon.

"Come on, I told you before I won't say anything. It's between me and him. I will say this; it was fun. He really made my birthday wonderful."

It was dark in the room with the curtains closed, showing a happy end for a birthday. However, Matt and Ryu had some fun of their own, even sharing birthday cake and just hanging out. Being with each other was rather nice for him. However, he was still happier being here with Matt.

Ryu was in between Matt's legs moving his head up and down slowly but he was seeing that his mate was tied up. He hissed feeling the heat from Ryu's mouth but he only looks down seeing him. He seriously was cute as he already was being too cute for his own good.

He growls feeling him moving his head faster again that he moans struggling only for Rashomon to tighten it's hold. "Grrrrrrnmmmm!!"

Hearing this, Ryu slowly pulls his head up but was panting stroking him slowly. "W..What's wrong Matt? Feels goo..good?" he asked in a soft quiet tone yet he was dazed to see how flushed Matt was.

He didn't say a single word but he was shaking feeling Ryu stroking him more that it was twitching in his head. "What? You can't speak?" he teased to slowly take the tip in his mouth again that Matt tenses again.

"I know....though, seeing you like this is cute. His body ached in pleasure but he grits his teeth feeling his hole opening and closing as Ryu was pleasuring him.

"Haaa....haaaa..ohhh f..fuck......" leaning his head back with a quiver of his voice, moaning out Ryu's name even with the teasing was too good. Not Very Silly-

they've still got a sense of humor, but they're either too smooth or too serious to act all that silly.

Jackie- quips and oneliners for the most part. Althought he did dress as a clown for a disguise in the movie, but I would classify that more as whimsy than silly.

Hobie- he was always that cool. He may be dorky in the "I'm so cool" sense, but he's not much of a goof.

X- far too cute and calm to be silly. Jokes sometimes go over his head, which retroactively increases his silliness levels.

Osfala- once again, far too calm. He has his slightly overconfident moments, but they're rare these days.

Tonbo- too much of a knight/househusband type to make brainspace for being silly, but he does tend to take things at face value which once again retroactively adds to his silliness.

Normal Silly-

they enjoy a good laugh, but won't go out of their way for a joke unless it's a special occasion.

Link- he would be in unintentional, but that's only a half truth. he's got a carefree childlike attitude and is aware he might look silly when doing some things.

Joe- food puns, the fucking dork /aff. other than that, his silliness is mainly displayed via moments of random affection.

Tauro- he either makes fishing puns, archaeology puns, or tells those intelligent jokes you don't understand unless you're a NERD.

Clark- you would think his main silliness source is his awkwardness, which is true, but he also very much can make someone laugh on purpose. he likes making people smile, and making them laugh is one way to do that.

Luke- he's pretty shameless about PDA in public, so his silliness factor is mainly in his energetic displays of affection. but he's also generally a fun-loving guy, and won't turn down a chance for a joke or two, and maybe even a bigger prank if the mood strikes him (see my fake reddit post)

Unintentionally Silly-

exactly what's on the tin. they're silly, but they don't do it on purpose.

Herlock- he's kind of on a border because while his investigation methods looked silly across the game, it was revealed that he messed up on purpose to help ryunosuke learn how to make his own deductions. even then, there was no reason for him to hang on the coatrack or talk about his personal experience eating soap.

Masa- he's just a dumbass. it's not his fault.

Pierce- he's also just a dumbass, but he's been put in an unfamiliar place and has no idea what the culture of said place is like.

Jamie- he gets intoxicated on tea. he's a self-proclaimed peacekeeper who almost definitely would say acab (we ignore beta Jamie). he walks as if he owns Metro City's China Town like he's not 5'9 wearing eyeshadow. wearing a jacket that makes him look bigger than he is like a long-haird cat. he's lucky that im into all that, but he's still absolutely ridiculous.

Rouxls- A man that speakse liketh this doth be far too sillieth for his own goode. While i do believe he's smart and has some semblance of class, so does he- to a detrimental degree. Possibly the silliest man on this list, and he doesn't even mean it.

Total Goof-

incredibly silly, mostly on purpose.

Itto- he has so much confidence but also loves fun so much that it all culminates into the adorable prankster that he is. he knows when he's done something that makes him look/sound silly, and he capitalizes on it.

Leon- yes his bad senses of direction and fashion make him silly, but he's also big on just generally acting like a goof. champion or not this man is silly!

Reyn- stupidity + constant jokes = perfect recipe for silly. one of his best features is how much he loves to smile, and make others smile. he's just a big rowdy sweetheart who wants everyone to have a good time, and that results in him being an affectionate and goofy jokester. i will never let go of "you can't have a rainbow without reyn, baby."

Susato Sexuality Headcanon: Lesbian all the way babyyyyyy. Gender Headcanon: Also lesbian (in the gender way this time). I think that it would be fun if later in life she started experimenting with GNC stuff. Like, she still often uses her usual feminine dress but also some more butchy looks. A ship I have with said character: Susarei/Susahao (whatever u want to call it. They are just. So cute and I instantly fell in love with them with they literally flipped a man over together A BROTP I have with said character: Ryunosuke! I've briefly mentioned that I think Susato is the only character that could be considered a true mentor figure for Ryunosuke (aside from 1-1 Kazuma). They are so important to each other A NOTP I have with said character: Ryunosuke again. She is a 16 year old girl and he is a 23 year old man. It is okay that they deeply admire each other and are not in a romantic relationship A random headcanon: She's an information seeking autistic! She also makes intricate maps and scripts of conversations in her head so she does the Socializing Thing well. General Opinion over said character: From a story standpoint she is the most tangibly useful assistant in the AA franchise. She also provides a good balancing dynamic with Ryunosuke, and i love her so much.

Sholmes Sexuality Headcanon: Gay gay homosexual gay. Gender Headcanon: transmasc with a hint of lacroix. He has that nonbinary swag going on. A ship I have with said character: Mikotoba. A bit basic, but It's About The Holmes and Watson Of It All. A BROTP I have with said character: van Zieks, but it is entirely one sided. van Zieks fucking hates Sholmes with his entire being and Sholmes thinks they are Best BFFs Forever. van Zieks only survives because Sholmes periodically forgets that they know each other. A NOTP I have with said character: I don't think I can immediately think of any? At least not one that I've seen any content for. I'm personally not a huge fan of romantic sholmes/van zieks but also I don't think I would go as far as to call it a NOTP A random headcanon: He worked very hard learning how to do things like do hair and mend clothes so he could be a good dad for Iris. He now uses the same skills to make elaborate disguises and costumes. General Opinion over said character: Funny detective man. I think his character is very fun, especially when tension starts mounting around the end of 2-2.

I never thought of them a ship before lmao I knew it was one and I love the chaos that it brings with it but I do have a fondness for the pure crackheadery that is GinAtsu ngl 😂😂 just wanted to share that one with the world

A three month anniversary date was supposed to be simple. Nothing fancy, no high end restaurants or crazy proposals.

Just Gin, Michizo and a cute dinner at the sushi bar they went to for their first date.

She’d worn her favourite grey dress with her hair tied back into a braid and she somehow managed to convince her boyfriend to wear something nice as well- jeans and a button up looked very nice on him thank you.

Even as they ate they held hands, his own playing with her fingers in a self soothing way as they spoke. They had a rule- no work talk.

No one was supposed to be out this way, it was closer to the Agency’s territory than the Mafia’s so they thought they were safe. That was until Tachihara froze amidst eating and almost robotically turned to face the window.

Where a very angry looking Ryunosuke stood.

“Fuck.” They said in sync before spotting a confused Higuchi and Hirotsu flanking him. The blonde gave an eager wave once she noticed- at least she looked happy to see them. Hirotsu honestly looked more bored than anything once the confusion vanished.

Ryunosuke however… was glaring daggers towards Tachihara, in a way he hadn’t ever expected as Higuchi tried to drag him from the window, seeming to plead with him to leave.

They hadn’t left no, but he did stalk into the sushi bar faster than she had ever seen him move before.

“What do you think you are doing with my sister?” He growled. Tachihara stopped functioning in fear of the Rashomon users ability.

“We are on a date Ryu.” Gin answered, annoyed. “A date I don’t remember inviting you on.”

“Sorry Gin, Tachihara. We just finished a report with the ADA and wanted some dinner… we didn’t know you’d be here.” Higuchi smiled, it was a weird smi… oh… oh she’d known. No wild reveal for her it seemed.

“It’s okay Big Sis.” Tachihara said (well squeaked).

“Who said you could date Gin?” Akutagawa growled.

“Me?” Gin again answered as she grasped Tachihara’s hand.

“I didn’t know I needed your permission.” He squeaked again.

“You don’t.” Gin said before glaring at her older brother. “Go away so we can finish our date thanks. Murder him later.”

His glaring seemed to pause before grumbling lowly. Akutagawa nodded before almost speed walking out of the restaurant, the other two following quietly- with a yell of congratulations from Higuchi that is.

After a moment the couple relaxed again, feeling much better without the overprotective brother staring him into an early grace.

Wait a minute.

“Murder me later?”

I finished The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles so I can scream now. My favorite things:

(OBVIOUSLY THERE ARE SPOILERS, TREAD CAREFULLY)

- Herlock Sholmes has eaten soap

- Me and my assistant breaking and entering random crime scenes, getting caught in the middle of pulling open drawers, and then forcing the person who caught us to stand and glower from the corner while we investigate everything and make smart-ass comments that are fully audible to everyone in the room

- Bonus shout-out to Barok van Zieks for glaring at us the whole time we were in his office and interrupting our smart-assery to yell at our nonsense--ALL after he’d already told us to GTFO. Love it

- honestly, Barok van Zieks was great. Over-dramatic racist vampire bastard, loved him, loved his growth and the fact that he was always always a fair opponent in court who played by the rules and wanted justice done above-board. And threw a whole ass bottle of wine into the gallery every three minutes

- ALSO Barok van Zieks having a mad scientist as his best friend--and the mad scientist insisting that Barok was a kind and gentle person in college?? and, in a later case, you get an old photograph of Barok smiling?? And you hear about how close he and Asogi were before shit hit the fan and how much he admired Asogi and how Asogi SAVED HIS LIFE. The TRAGEDY of this man.

- Mikotoba’s tap dancing!!!

- And tbh it’s so lovely that the whole game, you’re constantly correcting Herlock’s deductions and it’s a total (fun) mess, and then you have the deduction with Mikotoba and it goes so smoothly, like this is the two of them in perfect synchronicity, this is how well they work together, and it’s so lovely. This is how the Dance of Deduction is supposed to go!! It’s a DANCE, and up until this point, you’ve only ever seen Herlock dance it with the WRONG partner.

- the tie on Herlock’s shirt is the same shape and color as Iris’s hair

- Mikotoba bringing baby Iris to Herlock and Herlock immediately adopting her (and the fucking line Mikotoba drops when he’s retelling this??? “He took one look in my eyes and said yes”?? amazing)

- Kazuma being a bloodthirsty bastard oh my god. I am HERE for the drama of trying to keep your prosecutor partner in check as he full-tilt tries to condemn the wrong man because he’s been waiting for this moment for ten years and he doesn’t believe there’s any way that he could be WRONG

- also Kazuma giving Ryunosuke his sword at the end of the second game? The sword that is his soul?? because he knows Ryunosuke can be trusted to take care of it and keep it safe until Kazuma is ready to pick it up again? good GOD

- ALL the family vibes, like Ryunosuke calling Herlock, Iris, and Susato his family; Ryunosuke so flustered and sweet when Iris calls him her brother; their goofy family portrait at the end of the first game. yes yes yes yes yes

- Also also also the fact that Ryunosuke and Susato know IMMEDIATELY that the masked apprentice is Kazuma. I love that they know before the reveal, I love that they have to interact with him knowing who he is without being able to talk to him about it. They are both so fond of him, they are both so relieved that he is okay and confused by what’s going on and they just want him to be alright

- AND that Ryunosuke doesn’t know what the hell is going on or what Kazuma is up to, but he trusts Kazuma SO MUCH and Kazuma is his best friend in the world; Kazuma says “do this for me,” and Ryunosuke agrees without missing a beat. Even if Kazuma is acting different, Ryunosuke’s convinced he must have a reason and as soon as they all get a chance to talk things over, of course his behavior will make sense. Ryunosuke is so good and so kind.

- ALSO Ryunosuke and Susato being so fond of each other? is very cute?? I loved them as a team and I liked to picture them whispering together as they investigated the evidence in the courtroom

- THE MUSIC. Kazuma’s initial theme (”Samurai with a Mission”) is so beautiful and regal, and then hearing it in the second game (”A Grand Return”), like, moved me to tears. And “Partners--The Game is Afoot” as the Mikotoba/Herlock deduction unfolds with the cheerful, upbeat violin?? I’m weeping. I’m so bad at registering musical themes and motifs, I’m sure there are like 100 more that I fully missed.

- the motivations for the Big Bad were great! I loved that he was so convinced that he was doing the right thing and that there was no other way to get the outcome he wanted. Still obviously an objectively terrible man (who made AWFUL decisions), but I like how believable he was as a villain

- ALSO ALL THE SUBTLE (or not subtle) character design choices? Like the queen bee and the worker bee folks from the meter company, and Stronghart with all of his clock-themed outfit accents. The way that Ryunosuke and Phoenix share some sprite animations? The way that Herlock and Iris both do the hat-flip action?? Ryunosuke resting his hand on the hilt of Kazuma’s sword when he’s confident about his own decisions in court?? I love the character designs and animations in these games
