the supernatural fandom as a whole doesnt talk enough about "Houses of the Holy." like.. the whole episode is literally dean shit talking angels and saying they dont exist, think about the fan edit potential here!! there are at least six or seven different scenes to pull from where dean is talking about how angels are bullshit and then BOOM cut to castiel looking beautiful and being in love with him
like
the possibilities are endless

The sixth and final look of "Murder Under the Mistletoe" (Season 2, Episode 13) is an eyecatching dress and cape combo made of shimmering red and gold fabric, along with a festive feather headband.
Phryne's holiday dress is made of a tarnished gold metallic lace, finely woven together, with a slip of antique maroon georgette worn underneath. It has a slightly scooped neckline and two straps over her shoulders. Adding to the luxe drama of the party, Phryne adds a beautiful capelet to her look. The capelet is a complementary floral metallic, and has fitted shoulders and wraps loosely around her neck. Her exaggerated split sleeves create movement and waft across the champagne and conversation.
She adds to her look with a feathered headband - hand dyed to match her dress, with a series of feathers set in a circle to imitate a nest, with a small bead serving as a wink at an egg. Two rosettes made from the same feathers, one slightly smaller than the other, rest on her left shoulder to accentuate the headpiece.
Miss Fisher finishes her ensemble with a brass flower ring with a jade center and gold t-strap heels, worn previously in 2x09 with her 'Golden Girl' dress.

This week Emmu reads Oh Little Town of BATHlehem (AO3) by @londonfoginacup
Louis Tomlinson needs a small pink bathtub.
He needs it.
His fucking family had forgotten to include him in the email chain for Doris for Christmas, with her very carefully thought out Christmas list, until every easy item was gone. Only when he asked Lottie if anyone else had heard from Doris yet, only then did they realise their mistake and forward the email chain to him.
So, it’s either a small pink bathtub or an entire bouncy castle. And if he had the money for a bouncy castle that would be fine, but that fucker costs more than his monthly rent and he simply does not make that much working as an optometrist assistant.
As always, you can listen to our podcast on your favourite podcast app: Anchor | Spotify | Google Podcast | Apple Podcast | or you can check out the AO3 here. You can also download the full episode here.

Whoever put this Char Aznable knockoff in Hallowinx must have watched the illegal 1980 TV dub of Mobile Suit Gundam 0079. Season 2 of Winx was in production right while the new, legal dub was being produced and released in 2004. I've done some research and it was extremely common for bootleg vhs and dvd compilations with the pirated dub to be sold at cons in the 90s and early 2000s! And of course there were muxed copies available online.
The illegal dub this fan grew up with had various changes and incorrect translations, whole episodes missing, a whole new (terrible) opening and was disowned by Tomino himself and Sunrise. And it's the only international release that has episode 15! It was also the first oversea dub for the series ever.
fascinating how Winx connects to extremely specific anime history

Prompt:
When fighting the dragon, Arthur’s last attack strikes true. Rather than swiping Arthur aside, the dragon rears back in agony, and falls to the ground.
Since there were no more dragons, and Merlin had not yet completed his destiny, nor had he come into his full power, as his last act, Kilgarrah breathes on Merlin, the last of his kin, sharing his magic - an act that Arthur witnesses, but is unable to stop.
Kilgarrah dies, and Merlin screams for help, for Arthur, as black scales begin erupting from his skin.

I've just finished episode 13 of season 2 of Doctor Who and I've got too many questions.
If there's communication between 2 parallel worlds that have such extreme similarities then: there must surely be a doctor in each dimension. So why doesn't the doctor from the "Rose's Dad Alive" dimension come and help solve this huge mess! And don't tell me "he's not from the right time" "he doesn't know", the tardis detects space-time problems and other shit.
When Rose says that 5 of them have come to see him, Doctor immediately understands that there's a baby at stake: why is his face so shocked, happy, sad and destroyed at the same time?

It's clear that there was a moment of confusion when he gave her hope that it was HER baby. And that's when we understand why he's destroyed: he would never have seen his child, stuck in another universe.
Which leads to the fact that in episode 11, if I remember correctly, the Doctor says he was a father once. Is this the baby he was referring to? Let me explain: if the rift hadn't existed/been exploited, then maybe he and Rose would have had a child. And thanks to the tardis he would have known. But… as this future can no longer exist, he has been and never will be a father.
And here we touch on a peripatetic characteristic of the character: he is alone Even though he collects travelling companions and knows all about past and future history, as soon as something impossible happens he loses everything. As the last representative of his species, nobody understands him: for him, a human life means nothing. Maybe 900 years make him a toddler on his planet, which would explain his constant excitement, or just reveal even more of his loneliness.
In fact, the Doctor is the man who has seen it all, experienced it all, lived it all… and taken it all in. His planet, his people, his family, his time.
Lord of eternity
