5x04 : Dear Offred / 5x06 : Together

In S5E04, June and Luke are exciting by the idea / the fantasize of killing Serena. Even if Luke is just trying to be supportive as Nick would have been for June (but not the same way). And because Serena’s words must be ringing in his head.

For the first time since their reunion, it seems that this idea awakens their sex life.

In S5E06, Nick killed Putnam in front of everybody because officially Gilead found Warren guilty of apostasy and sins of the flesh. Back home, Nick realized Rose is upset. She disapproves. She is not excited or impressed. She is not supportive.

In season 6, I wonder how it could be if June and Nick team up as the power couple they were in the woods when they kissed in front of Fred. If they decided together to make real damages at Gilead. If they decided to finally be together as a couple and in a monogamous relationship. Because yes I HATE the idea of polyamorous.

Something Bruce Miller talked at the Paleyfest in october: He wants June to have both men - says she deserves happiness - before to add - Monogamy is overrated and after all she’s been through, she deserves love from both. Yes but no!

So in the Bible, Jacob had two wives: Leah and Rachel. In 2023 it is feminist for June to have / love two men: Nick and Luke. Millions of years of evolution … for that?

I am speechless. If the serie ends up like this, I will be SO disappointed. I really hope Osblaine Lives❤️❤️ And with this post I hope not to offend anyone.

Did you notice this similar comparison between Season 1 Episode 4 & Season 5 Episode 4.

First is Rayla & General Amaya. In S1 Ep 04, This is where General Amaya and Rayla first meet on a bad note.

In S5 Ep 04, This is where Rayla & Amaya apologize to each other & reconcile with one another, putting an end to their chapter of the past.

Second is the items & solutions found it each episode.

S1 Ep 04, This is where they found the Key of Aaravos which is a vital and important object in the story.

S5E04, In the Great Bookery is where they found the solution to kill a startouch elf which is the Novablade.

These two episodes have important connections to each other, it's just amazing storytelling & masterful writing.
