made it through another, longer becky episode with all teeth intact, but it was a near thing when she licked her hand to blow a... kiss, i guess?

a) baby! b) he has way more of an accent than i remember. what originally stuck out to me about how he speaks at the beginning of the series is how he says Rs which i associate with west coast/san francisco mainly because of someone else who does it the same way from there, i really don't know the origin or what it's even considered but it's a very particular and very enunciated way of saying Rs. 😩 anyway! in that scene it sounds like the texas is slipping out

one thing that i did appreciate was poking fun at sam and dean's deep raspy voices. which i obviously have had some thoughts about too :p

look at the difference between his hands/arms and his face. makeup tragedy. embrace the paler skin, please. reminds me of this very misguided advice i read once about dealing with freckles (of which i am covered, not just a dainty smattering like jackles) that said to match foundation to the freckles. if you do, you get something like the above 😂

My Thoughts: At this point I’m not loving the filler at all. C’mon, the damn apocalypse is going on! I definitely see how SPN doesn’t recognize who actually makes up their audience (at least not yet). Really, mainly dudes? And one crazy fangirl? Really?? I did, however, love the “partners” who Sam and Dean interacted with the majority of the episode. That was so cute, especially “Dean’s” “what the story is really about” speech at the end (which Dean really took to heart), and real Dean’s “Howdy, partners.” I just love how Dean was written this episode <3
