This war between the buttercups and the hivemind is feeling like it’s going on forever. I know it’s all just fun between friends but I feel like.. what else can they even do? I feel like the robot battle was the climax but it still feels like they’re attempting to climb up more. Might just be my ADHD/ADD, but it’s feeling like it’s getting a little old? At least with the King storyline they had ways to keep it fresh till the big battle. Is this just me?

I think it's valid to feel that way, it's not got the same stakes and feeling of progression as previous arcs have, staying largely in the same place with neither side making any real progress (or even knowing what progress would be). Like a perpetual ping-pong match, except occasionally the ball is replaced with a land mine or several thousand chickens

Based on me skimming through Grian's s6 playlist though, it seems like both the civil war (from heist to finale) and the area 77 arc lasted around 3 months

Which is just about as long as the buttercups vs perimeter war has been going on

So assuming that's any indicator, it might wrap up soon. Maybe. Possibly. Although Scar and Grian did just build a very big tree... Maybe not.

I think the thing is that while it shares beats with things like a77, the involved parties lack definitive goals that would resolve the situation, everyone just wants to get back at each other for xyz

And, well, if left unchecked, Doc does have a tendency to "Yes and" until he accidentally destroys the timeline, which is always a worry

(For the record I don't think this is a bad event, I think it's pretty fun and I'm always up for some Doc vs Grian shenanigans in which things escalate wildly for no reason other than they are both aggressively committed to the bit)

BNHA S6 OST - Listening Party

There was listening party today with some of the S6 OST published. The playlist is here on Spotify  - links to other streaming services here

5 tracks were revealed from the S6 album:

1.  "Weeee Are Fuxkin Super Hero!!" 

This is a remix song of Weeee Are Fuxkin Super Star!! It's a song that expresses the seriousness of professional heroes.

2.  「Revengers」

It will be a power-up version of "Revenge".  It's a popular song in the floating scene! From revenge to counterattack!

3.  「We'll be everyone's heroes」

 It's an arrangement song of "I will be your hero" . The scale of the 6th season is getting bigger, so the title is bigger than the original song.

4.  「All for my sake」

Arrangement of "Symbol of Fear".  Ver with Shigaraki’s motif on the muzzle, I imagined an ominous image rather than a wild one, a solidness that is similar to AllForOne.

5.  「Dabi Dance」  A song that represents everything from his upbringing, After all, the motif of those two people is also scattered in various places. "Never use heat" and  "The Power of Endeavor"

6.  「You Say Run」-  It goes without saying that this is the main theme! I often listen to it when I work out!

7.  "My Hero Academia" is an emo song that expresses the strength of the team. It's often used in Yuei's everyone's scene!

8.  「爆殺王!! 」 (Bakugou’s theme) Please be killed by the sound, that's all.

9.  「三位一体 」(Trinity)  A song that can be used in the best scene. The combined power of the two will increase, but The three of us go higher, that kind of song. I made it so that it can be folded.

10.  「ワン・フォー・オールVSオール・フォー・ワン 」(OFAvsAFO)  In order to color that fierce battle, we have included the solidity of Shikomado Sukoi (?) class, All Might's motif is a victory blow.

11.  「勝己と出久 」(Katsuki and Izuku)  It's good that it's not "Deku and Kacchan". . . Each battle that believed in yourself, it is a song for proof, the motifs of the two are scattered in a nice way!

12.  「Hero too  」 A rare and bright popular song for MHA. The reason why the interlude in the middle is long for Pops is that it creates time to remember her past. Ayapeta's lyrics and Chrissy's singing voice are always the best!

13.  「俺が君のヒーローになる」(I will be your hero)  "We'll be everyone's heroes" made in the 6th Season. It is based on this song, originally made for Mirio saving Eri.

14.  「それいけさらに向こうへ] (Go Plus Ultra) -  Arranged song, this one was made with more of a serious battle feel than serious.

15.  Classmate read Rival   A song that always colors the last of the movie version. Here is the slapstick battle. Write "Rivals" and read as "Classmates" 

16. Symbol of Fear   I wanted to make a creepy, cool song, and it turned out like this, I like the screams and heartbeats.

17. Paranormal Liberation Front  From  "Runaway malice" When it ran out of control and was left alone, it transformed into such a song. The wickedness is left, but it is finished solidly.

18.  「Opening 」  OP song of the third movie. A song with the image of a dashing hero appearing, Actually, there was also a serious version of this song, but this one with a sense of excitement was the perfect match!

19.  「Todoroki's counterattack 」 It's just like that, but the song that wraps the emotional scene of Todoroki's counterattack is an impressive scene even in the movie version! !

20. [Might + U]   2nd movie version.  I still vividly remember the joy and excitement of being able to add music to a wonderful video. I just want to thank Makayla Phillips for her wonderful singing voice.

21.  「Heroes' mission 」 Serious and cool, isn't it? Heroes never give up! ! !

i was thinking about one of my complaints about the s6 finale was that the emergency was too short and after i just rewatched the s3 finale color me surprised but the train emergency was actually only about 30 mins too. the rest of the episode was wrapping up personal stuff for everybody. it's just the emergency itself was better done probably, more high stakes, and all the post-emergency stuff was better done and i cared about it more (buck+abby convo, everything at the party at athena & bobby's, madney pregnancy reveal, etc.)

anyway i don't mean to rehash my complaints about s6 finale in your inbox i just thought it was interesting how our feelings affect our memory of things a little (like in my head the train emergency was a full hour lol).

sometimes it doesn't really matter how long the emergency is, as long as it has that high-stakes feeling. take the escalator call in 2x04, it was probably 5 minutes max but its something the fandom remembers because of how it broke our hearts. some disasters only work well when given a longer runtime, though, like the earthquake and the tsunami—i still maintain that the s6 finale should have been a two-parter. that's not to say it was necessarily bad, but...idk. aside from the heart of the champion guy, and the team rescuing bobby, it didn't really make me feel as much as other emergencies have. and i think it felt doubly disappointing bc of the way the finale was promoted and how hyped up we were for it 🤷🏼

wait okay I have another question on the whole buck in check pattern thing!!! how often have we actually seen HIM in check? because it feels like that barely ever happens? off the top of my head I only remember his therapy session in season 1? and then I feel like I remember one or two instances of smaller check pattern, which I absolutely can't place right now 👀

5 of the s5 ones are connected to Taylor (and actually all 6 are if we count the name drop at the equestrian centre as being connected to Taylor)

And if we go strictly for just black and white check on Buck then it becomes a little interesting because there are only two instances - the 'did he get to see his son' scene in Brawl in cell block 911 and the black and white check jacket in wrapped in Red - when Eddie leaves the 118 - which is now making me suspicious that this scene will connect into the Diaz boys somehow and play on the idea of Buck being separated from them in some way - so now I'm even more 👀👀👀👀👀👀 about the whole thing - especially if it plays out in parallel to 3x01 - with the scene either coming at the end of 6x05 or the beginning of 6x06 - and it setting up the HenRen disaster before leading back into the sperm donor storyline - the opposite if what we saw in 3x01 -where Buck was the one who ended up in a disaster while HenRen we're in their sperm donor storyline!!

(currently my money is on this shirt foreshadowing Eddie finding out about the sperm donor thing and getting mad at Buck about it and Buck pulling away in some form before coming back to support him in the aftermath of Buck either pulling out (no pun intended 😂) or not being able to donate - I'd quite like the second option because it will parallel Buck being there for Eddie in the aftermath of his break down and then bring them closer - so we'll get Buddie in 6b!)

Did Sam provide the SS for free yesterday or at the S6 promo in London or did Starz pay for both? In London, there were quite a few bottles displayed. Yesterday only saw a few. Somehow, I doubt all these bottles are for nil $.

Most likely he sponsored it with the whisky. As he did with the premiere for S6. But I don't have any insights in the business going on between Starz and GGC... 🤷‍♀️

On the premiere they were full on display, as there were many pics taken and it was an official event. This was a wrap party, not a promo, so a full display of his booze...

I liked "The Great War" option but I was also curious about the "What if Donna went to college without Eric in S6" one. Would you be willing to talk a little bit about that one? 😭

Sure! What If: Donna Got On The Bus (And Went to College Without Eric) diverges from canon in early season 6 in the episode "Magic Bus". Instead of letting the bus drive away so she can stay in Point Place with Eric, Donna gets on it and she starts her first semester at UW-Madison.

The fact that Donna never went to college (well... I guess until the very end) on the show is one of the things I dislike and would change about canon if I could. I actually think it's sweet that Donna realizes Eric is her number one priority in Magic Bus and she makes the impulsive decision to stay with him, but unfortunately as we all know, she never did get back to the UW and that feels like such a disservice to her character. Especially in season 7, after the wedding fiasco, when Eric is taking his 'year off' - I just watch those episodes and cringe for Donna. What are you still doing in this smelly basement, in this going-nowhere relationship, in this going-nowhere town? Bob was always going to pay for her tuition. Donna needed to go. And honestly, I believe she would have.

So this story is my attempt to re-write some of that, I guess.

I have it outlined to be around five chapters, but, you know, we'll see.

Basically, what I think would happen (without giving the whole thing away): Eric would be miserable stuck in Point Place, and at first Donna would come home every weekend to be with him. Eventually they'd both realize this is holding her back/not letting her fully acclimate to college life, and Eric would be the one to put them on a 'break' until he can join her - so Donna doesn't feel guilty and can enjoy college.

Donna opens up and starts to thrive in college, enjoying her classes, professors, going to poetry readings, frat parties, joining the student newspaper, etc. There are guys hitting on her, but she's not interested. She misses Eric and wishes he were there. Eric meanwhile, has the motivation he needs to help Red get better/the family back on its feet ASAP so he can re-apply to UW and join Donna next semester.

I'm going to keep the rest of what I have planned under wraps for now (there will obviously be a few bumps in the road), but that's the gist.

I'm almost at the end of this series and i've got to tell you rory's character development was just getting better after that shift of attitude in S5 to S6. (lemme tell you, it was a rollercoaster)

So, I'm just here to rant about how she berated to her mother about sleeping with Christopher (her dad) after breaking up with luke, I was just furious how she would suddenly get mad at her mom without even hearing her side (even though it was wrong of lorelai to be sleeping with someone else after the break up) when in fact she did the same thing when she slept with dean, A MARRIED GUY! she got mad at her mom for "ruining the moment", didn't liked being told off, justified her actions even though she was really wrong and cut her mom off (for 5 months, 3 weeks and 16 days)

I just couldn't wrap my head around the fact how she would always turn the spotlight for these types of situation to herself -- like let your mom explain! she immediately blamed her mom for "ruining" her relationship with her dad and accused her for doing it intentionally. like girl, your relationship with your dad was your own doing, there was an episode where you cut your dad off because you didn't want him to ruin your mom's relationship with luke, got mad at him for nothing -- turned the spotlight to yourself when you missed your mom's graduation when you went to jess in new york, had a mental breakdown and of course your mom is gonna console you.

Sometimes I feel like rory is just waiting for her mom to mess up and just reprimand her and I don't like it how lorelai just stands there letting her say all those things when she could've had the upper hand and pull out the mom card, but then I thought maybe she didn't want to ruin her relationship with rory again.

Like I get it, it's so wrong of lorelai to go to Christopher and sleep with him after breaking up with luke but then it's a whole other deep ordeal why she has done that. She was hurt, she was not welcome to the other part of luke which is properly meeting April and her mom. She postponed the wedding even if she doesn't want to but she did it anyway because it was the right thing to do. She understood luke, supported him and helped him during those times when he was making it up for April, she lend a helping hand during April's birthday party and was immediately blamed by the mother. To understand that is a whole new level of patience, to be blamed for, to not be welcomed to meet his daughter because (lorelai's going to take the spotlight as per luke) was just offensive on the part of lorelai.

That's it, that's the rant.

Timeline 1 August 2020 - August 2021

This is the first of the timeline posts I will post. As Tumblr wont let me post it all in one post. I'll put links at the bottom to the next timelines.

Read the timeline with in mind, most dates are confirmed by pictures, events that can be traced back to dates, and posts on IG or Twitter, it is possible the posting dates can differ from actual dates. I've put a lot of links in it, but not each interview/photoshoot etc. will be in it.

I created this timeline as I often get questions about when or where, what took place, hopefully these timelines will be helpful to keep track in the right way.

It starts in August 2020. Before that there's a timeline I posted leading up to how he went to Hawaii when the pandemic started for about six weeks and came back home beginning of May 2020. Not much noteworthy happened between May-August. He did his motorbike exam and interviews from home. Only as of August he started to be out and about again.

August 2020 Filming MiK around Scotland, several pics and in Edinburgh and videos and pics and fan pics

And September still filming around Scotland, fan pic and another and one in Edinburgh September 8, biking around September 15

While also recording audiobook Clanlands (September 21) and having a night out with the lads (Oct. 2nd) in London

And still filming MiK in October 19 and (21) photoshoot

October 22 sharing his fake phone number, October 29 live IG from home both from home

November 3 2020 Clanlands book release and on Zoe Ball show and this morning on November 4 (virtual) showing London - forgot his Q&A but apparently already working on TFY, a fan pic on November 14 in London, and recording a message for a fan from his filming location in London for TFY on November 18, as well as GMA on November 24

November/December 2020 Filming TFY (working title) some BTS, still had time for biking around London, and his switching of for Christmas on which day the OL fans get the message they will start filming in January

January 2021 makes an appearance presenting an award but obviously prerecorded, a video from his home on January 22nd of course with his whisky. Filming OL S6 started, some bts pics

February 2021 MiK release - lots of promo and interviews at home bashing Bridgerton, chicksintheoffice and live IG with Graham on February 14, release of MiK for US.

February 16 premiere To Olivia in which he plays Paul Newman. The movie was recorded in December 2019.

March 8 2021, photoshoot for Esquire posted on Twitter, promo for SAS RN from home and IG live from home on March 19

OL introducing new characters, announcing OL getting a next Season and BTS of S6 in production, all in March 2021

April 7th did a IG Q&A celebrating 3M followers from home, showing a roadtrip he did the week before. IG live with Graham on April 11 from home. Announcing MiK from home on April 15, will be releasing on May 9th for UK.

On May 3 2021 still doing promo for SS in his old house, but later that month he moved to his new place, first seen as a reflection in a spoon feeding a bee, his garage (May 8th), in the MPC gala video the full kitchen view (May 23), and showing off his garden in the archery pic on May 30. A fan pic on May 15 and 16 from Glasgow.

June 5 2021 OL S6 wrapped, had a wrap party at his home

The next day he went to London and posted a pic on June 7 2021 with SC on a terrace smoking cigars.

Same week he recorded a podcast with Alex Z in a sweaty studio and some fan pics confirming still in London on June 9

Wrapped recording MPC material with Valbo and AN on June 18, archery stories of AN on the deck and the garden, which gave away the address of the house and a fan pic at kcalkitchen in Glasgow

Shot Sassenach promo material in/around Breamar (fanpic on June 24) Fifearms and Mar Lodge and hosted his nephews birthday party on June 27 and a fan pic confirmed still in Glasgow.

Did a biking trip and shooting more SS promo with AN seen at Luss, Rest and be thankful amongst other places, the route we could follow looked like this up to June 29.

AN was home July 4th, SH was in London posted a video with Graham, met amongst others Kat Mcnamara (which picture she posted for his birthday a year later). While the Nics gave a tour of his house and using his stuff on the 12th of July, we already figured out he's not there himself, despite him posting a selfie on a bike in London on the 14th but as a latergram as he already was in

Mexico (July 2021) in Jalisco with Matt N and AN. He posted a pic himself on July 17 but was most likely already about a week in Mexico. After that we saw a number of biker-pics agave pics Tequila stuff and lots of fan pics, and seen by a fan at the airport on July 22 while flying to

Tulum with MN (fan pics on July 24 and 25 and Tulum gym pics) Matt posted leaving Mexico on July 31st while S went to

LA - August 2021, first pic posted by himself at the Chargers/Rams game on August 17, recording interviews live IG from airbnb, pics and promo from HH (Hollywood Hills and House). And SAS RN was released on Netflix, posting from the TV set in the HH. Tweeted about additional ADR for OL S6, hanging out with some bikers eating burritos
