Focus on repairing your relationship with Allah and you will see how all your other issues begin to repair as well. For if you take care of your relationship with Allah, Allah will take care of you.

"Can I tell you what sabr is? Sabr is like a spiritual muscle. Okay? If you go to a personal trainer and ask them to make you strong, what do you think they're gonna do? Are they gonna take off the weight or put it on? Do you get it? See the process of building a spiritual muscle isn't easy. It's basically like you are asking God make me an olympic athlete who can carry 500 pounds. Well, guess how you get there? There is a process to get there. But you know what? you can ask for something else. You can actually ask for ease. You can ask for the weight is taken off. And that doesn't mean you're failing the test. Every prophet asked for help." - Ustadha Yasmin Mogahed.

Relying on Allah calms the heart, grants peace and confidence while overthinking about something ruins it, takes away peace, and causes anxiety. May Allah make us fully dependent on Him and free us from excessive thinking.

Most of the time being silent with plenty of sabr is the only way to heal.
When our hearts need it the most.

All that you’ve been praying for will come to you one day. Your life now may seem like a big waiting game, but understand that everything that happens until that point is taking shape in preparation for that day. Are you going to worry or are you going to trust the Almighty?

Patience with God, His decree, and His plan for you, does not mean you won't get sad or tired. It does not mean that you won't have days when the pain will make your heart heavy and constricted. TRUE patience, the most beautiful patience, can only exist in the presence of these struggles, not in their absence. Otherwise it wouldn't be called patience, if you felt good all the time or your hardship brought you no pain. So do not judge your patience by your painful emotions. Patience is judged by how we react to our pain, by our actions, by how we keep redirecting our hearts to God and reigniting our hope in what He has promised and holds for us, not only in this world but the next.

Believing in God is the biggest freedom you can have in life. It really doesn’t matter if people don’t notice the good that you do, because Allah is your witness and the Angels record every little thing. It also works the other way whenever people hurt you or if you treated unjust. There is no need to take revenge on people, you just leave it up to God. Everything that you do will never go unseen, because Allah is always there and everything is written down. Subhanallah, how beautiful is that? Contemplate about it.

Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله stated:
"As-Sabr (patience) is like it's name. It's taste is bitter however it's ending is sweeter than honey."

Fight your nafs. It doesn't matter what your eyes see or your ears hear. Firmly tell yourself Allah would never put you in a situation, no matter how bad it seems, to harm you. Whatever you're going through is better than the alternative. We don't know why in the moment. But Allah does. He knows what we don't know. He sees what we don't see. Trust Him.
Always.
