did it y'all, I finally managed to spend hours reading again, it feels so GOOD

I went to this second hand SciFi/fantasy/horror bookstore near my parents place and spent ages talking with the guy there, he gave me lots of specific recommendations (impressive bc when he asked me what I've enjoyed in fantasy all I could think of to say was 'i like biomes....... and suffering' NO EXAGGERATION that's all I said and he was like yep cool here's 3 series that are all biomes and suffering) (oh and when I picked up a book he was like 'oh that's cozy fantasy. very popular. probably not for you, no suffering' and he was so right about that)

I did have some pretty bad overwhelm and relapsed but whatever it's chill cause afterwards I picked up my book and read for hours and I feel sooooo much better thank u ms robin hobb my beloved

#he gave me a whole trilogy for $20 #cause he said id love it #and i only read the synopsis when i got home #it's literally suffering and biomes #dude who is dying of loneliness travels to a land with nature magic and goes thru different landscapes #all while being insufferably sad? come off it. why does this random guy know me so well #he also showed me all the most beautiful books there #one of them was $1k jesus #anyway. #i also painted a clown #well. a court jester #but my whole family saw it and none of em said anythibg #bastards. i like my jester #ed mumbles

Halloween mask I painted for my brother :)

[Image ID: a white full face sad clown mask. It is asymmetrical with one side having pink eyeshadow, upper eyelashes, and a large blue teardrop under the eye. The other side has blue eyeshadow, lower eyelashes, and yellow stars on the side of the face. The eyebrows are thin and expressing sadness, both colors of eyeshadow are blended down to contour the sides of the nose, the face has a faint blush and the lips are painted black with white highlights to make it look glossy.
