#theterroredit #the terror infamy #the terror #sab shimono #george takei #the terror spoilers #the terror 2x10 #hiroshima #oooof #jeez #this was effective #sadly the two really effective things in this ep were kind of divorced from the main plot #obviously hiroshima and its effect on the japanese americans was going to be brutal #and then the ending credits where we saw the japanese cast and crew with pics of their relatives who were in camps or the army in ww2 #or in the case of these two men #the actors #in the camps themselves #obviously super effective #but not really much to do with the story #which is fine--I would absolutely agree that you can't really have the main terror plot be about the war itself #or the internment #that's on us humans #but something was just...not working for me for this whole plot #even though it was tightly focused on a specific story and specific characters #too bad #I don't consider my time wasted watching this season #but it just didn't rise to what it could have been
