FGO KR “feminist ideological verification”- further info thanks to @sagaschan !

The above tweets explain a general summary of the incident. You might remember the Anime Game Festival (AGF 2023) as the place a Korean incel had a protest truck stop because he thought Genshin Impact promoted misandry (lol). That didn’t amount to anything obviously. But unfortunately a female cosplayer for the gacha game Fate/Grand Order(FGO) was a victim of incels’ ideological verification and had to cancel her panel in addition to posting a public apology. The wheels are set in motion with this post:

(of fucking course this idiot is using the name and avatar of one of FGO’s most pedo-pandering characters…) He says he wants Netmarble (FGO’s Korean server’s publisher) to respond to this woman’s “feminist controversy” and posts these tweets of hers he dug up from 2017

You can MTL them if you need to, essentially they are basic observations regarding how men are lucky they can sleep with their door open on a hot night and will not have the same anxieties regarding this that women do, similarly her thoughts on men not experiencing the dangers women live in and therefore not having empathy or interest in our problems, her being happy that she assembled a chair that had gloating reviews saying women were too frail to do it, etc. Apparently these tweets were deemed SO dangerously feminist that a reply from FGO KR was posted saying they will look into it.

Netmarble itself never officially posted about her panel’s cancellation, instead opting to reply to individual inquiries by saying she resigned out of her own volition.

She later posts an apology on her social media account saying the tweets in question were made before she started streaming/cosplay and weren’t meant to be read as specifically feminist regardless.

She was put in a truly ridiculous situation. The fact that these guys went after her by combing through all her tweets just to find what are basically observations that are objectively true and they’re STILL MAD is pathetic.
