Sleep
Precious Weapon drabble after home theater.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing : Sierra Six (Court Gentry) x F!OC x Mentions of Lloyd Hansen but he's a big part in this.
Summary : Her and Six's sleep routine almost every night. He talks to her about Lloyd while having his cock buried deep inside her.
Warnings : Comfort. Cockwarming. Anal. Fingering. Teasing. Dirty talk. Implied smut. Fluff.
Word count : 3k words.
Author's note : This is a follow-up after the home theater drabble and it takes place the next night after. I love this so much because the way they could just carry out a casual, sweet conversation during a heated moment and it fits for them.
***
It's almost the same routine every night.
She gets ready for bed, changes into her favorite pajamas, turns on her TV and snuggles into her bed with Six.
But, sometimes, he fucks her to sleep. It's only for her comfort, though. Some nights, she can't sleep so he gladly helps her. He always gives her what she needs.
It's not every night. He's often too tired and she's usually already sleepy once she's comfortably tugged in his arms.
Tonight though, it was very different. He just came back from a late night mission with Lloyd and immediately showered in his own room so he could go to sleep in her bedroom.
Then, he quietly snuck into her bed only to find her already quietly asleep. She was sleeping peacefully, laying down flat with her hands resting on top of her stomach. She wasn't in her usual position since he wasn't here. She was too beautiful for his own good. It wasn't fair. He couldn't resist her. How could someone look so naturally perfect even when asleep? She's alluring to his eyes.
She stirs in her sleep, her head turning to the side while Six lays down beside her, spreading the blanket on him too. He doesn't want to wake her. But, he kind-of wants to, selfishly. He's been thinking of her the whole mission and all day. Especially after last night. When he saw her with Lloyd in the home theater. None of them said anything about it. He'd rather not either, but he can't deny that it was extremely hot and he couldn't stop thinking about it until now.
She rolls over to the other side of the bed and lays on her side, her back facing him. This was her usual sleeping position when he's with her. It's her comfiest. Her comfort position. His hands gently wrap around her torso as he shifts to press his body against hers from behind.
Subconsciously, her ass leans back on his crotch and she stirs in her sleep again. She whines softly, knitting her eyebrows as she realizes that he's finally home and he's right here, with her again. She could feel his hands on her body and hear his stable heartbeat.
She faintly smiles. "You're back." Elle whispers very softly but he could still hear her anyway.
Six looks down at her. "Sorry. Didn't mean to wake you." he whispers soothingly.
"Did you want to, though?" she slowly asks.
"What?" Six softly asks, trying to figure out what she's saying.
"I can feel that you're hard, Court." she sleepily murmurs, mentioning his real name by accident.
Court frowns before looking down at his hard erection against her ass. "Sorry. Been thinking about you all day." he mutters in a low voice.
She hums in response. "I'm not wearing any panties. You can put it in now." she plainly whispers.
His jaw almost drops. "Were you waiting for me, baby?" Six sweetly asks her and he's already carefully removing her pajamas short, leaving her completely bare down there. She has never felt too vulnerable and weak with him because she trusts him a lot. She also feels safe and comfortable whenever she's with him.
She gasps softly when his large hand brushes against her bare thigh, getting close to her cunt but he doesn't touch her there. She manages to nod a little. "Mhm. But I got sleepy and fell asleep waiting for you." she answers.
He sighs, dropping his head to kiss her shoulder. "You shouldn't have to wait like that." Court mutters before stepping away from her to take his sweatpants and briefs out.
His cock springs out of it and he carefully slides his hard length inside of her hole from behind. He returns to her, sticking his body onto hers like glue. He stays quiet, biting back a grunt because it's how he is. He doesn't make that much sound. Not even when he's in pain.
She lets out a breathy moan, still very much sleepy. "Tell me how your day was. The mission," she murmurs.
He doesn't move, he just keeps it inside of her like usual. "It was eventful but shitty. Lloyd kind-of saved my life." he casually tells her.
And at the mention of his name, she subtly shifts her ass against his dick. He felt that and slightly frowned, knowing exactly why she did that. She's still thinking about that heated moment with Lloyd in their home theater. Weirdly enough, she hasn't even mentioned it to them yet even though she loves movies and they know it.
"Are you guys okay? No injuries?" Elle softly asks him, concerned.
Six quietly smiles at her. "We're good. Completely clean of any scars." he assures her.
She hums in response. "That's good."
His eyes slowly look down at her, his mind drifting to Lloyd again. "Are you thinking of him right now? It's okay if you are." Court gently whispers. His voice is soothing and affectionate but it also sparks something between her legs. She likes it when he's slightly in control. She lets him do it.
She chuckles through her nose. "I think I'm always somehow thinking of him." she admits truthfully.
Court hums softly, his fingers brushing along her hips and then down to her lower stomach, almost reaching her clit but he doesn't touch it. Instead, he takes her hand and guides it to her cunt.
"Touch yourself, baby." Six tenderly murmurs, still being sweet. He said the same thing Lloyd had said. Even though he didn't even hear him say exactly this.
She widens her eyes at his words, and last night's flashbacks with Lloyd start to play on her mind again. And she remembers every single detail. She has a strong memory. She doesn't know that Six knows what happened but it is still weird. Or does he? But how? He was calmly asleep when she got back into bed, all cleaned up. Or was he? He wasn't exactly in the same sleeping position when she came back.
She connected the dots way too quickly for someone who's half awake and cock drunk. "You know." she breathes out.
Six sighs in defeat. "Sorry. I thought it'd be awkward if I said anything." he apologizes.
She chuckles quietly. "It's not. It turns me on that you're talking about it right now. When you're inside me." she shamelessly admits.
He hums softly. "We can talk about him more if you like." he offers, his hand leaving hers to rest on her cunt herself. He still wants her to touch herself. He wants to see her come apart just by the touch of her own hand. He wants to watch. Every second of it. Just like what he watched last night.
She nods slowly. "What'd you feel last night?" she asks him.
Court breaks into a light chuckle and he smiles against her shoulder. "Hard as a rock, Elle." he immediately answers.
She smiled and he could hear it. "You could've joined us." she says.
"No, I wanted you guys to have a one-on-one for once. You guys deserve it. After everything that happened." Six tells her, honestly and she hums, agreeing with him.
She leans back against his chest. "We didn't do a lot, though. The whole thing was a little weird. He couldn't sleep so he watched porn on our newly discovered home theater. I walked into him when I overheard weird noises. I thought it was an intruder." she explains, calmly.
"I thought so too that's why I woke up and went looking for the source of the noise." Six adds, his hand coming back to her hand that's still on her cunt but she hasn't touched herself yet. "Please, baby, touch yourself." he begs softly, she almost didn't hear him. He has never begged before. It's turning her on even more.
She quickly nods, her fingers prodding her clit with his hand still on top of hers, following her every movement. He can't see anything in the dark but he could still hear and feel everything. "Did you like it, though?" he asks her.
She moans softly. "Yeah, it was hot. We've never done anything like that before. I mean, we did a few kinky things but not like that. It was different." she admits.
His hand guides hers to insert one of her own fingers inside of her core. "How are things with him usually?" Court asks.
She sighs softly, his hand brushing around her clit. "He's rough with me only when I tell him to. He's mostly in charge but he always listens to me all the time. Never pushed my limits before. We try a lot of new things together." she answers.
His hand stops what he was doing. Suddenly, she could feel his dick growing harder inside of her and she moaned again. "Do you want us… to try something different? I only want what you want the most, Elle. I want you to feel good." Six seriously offered her.
She frowns, turning her head around to face him and their eyes finally meet, even in the darkness. Her free hand cups his jaw as he's still focused gazing at her pretty, dark eyes. "Hey, Court, you're enough for me. Way more than enough, actually. You don't have to do the exact same thing he does with me. I like you for who you are already." she assures him, softly.
Court nods, giving her forehead a kiss. "I know, baby. We could always try it, though." he mutters.
She cocks her head to the side before breaking into a soft smile and realizing something. "Oh. You want to do it because of him. He gets you hard, too, doesn't he?" she whispers and she can't stop smiling at him.
Six is speechless. He knew she didn't read his mind but there was never a point of hiding anything from her because they know each other too well. He's an unreadable man, but she can crack him and figure him out in a second. And, he allowed her to. He willingly opened himself up for her to crack. He trusts her so much with his life. She's the only one who really knows him and is still alive.
"I—don't know what to say about that." Court barely says to her, staring down at her gleaming eyes through the darkness.
She smiles again and he wishes he could capture her smile to keep with him forever. He enjoys these little moments with her and it's the only purest thing in his life. He wants to savor her and never let her go from his arms because he truly needs her. He never needed anything so badly before — never even knew it was possible to need something so strongly like this.
She's also right about Lloyd. He'd never been this intimate and close with anybody. This whole thing with her had made them closer. They have a rare bond. He slowly learned to grow fond of him. Six admired Lloyd, simply because they had gone through almost the same thing in their life and still survived. He found himself liking his stupid jokes. He's damn good at his job like he is. He always knows how to calm Lloyd, somehow. He got to know him — the real him, the one he doesn't show to anyone else but them. He's not as tough and scary as he thinks he is. He can be soft and vulnerable.
She cups his jaw as her thumb strokes his skin. "It's okay, you can tell me. Tell what really makes you hard, Court." she sweetly tells him.
Court tucks her hair under her ear and kisses her nose. "You. Everything that you do. Last night, seeing you with him, jerking off to each other was really hot to watch. And I thought watching was more of Lloyd's thing." he bluntly confesses.
She nods. "Me too. At first, I only watched him jerk off but then I offered to touch myself for encouragement. So, we ended up doing it together." she explains softly.
With that, something in him switched. Six pushes another finger of hers to go inside of her cunt and she moans louder as his cock goes deeper in her ass. This was different for them. They usually just put it in, have a conversation and eventually fall asleep together. Lloyd is the reason their sex life is getting a little bit spicier than usual.
"He came all over you, right? I saw that too, Elle. He made quite a mess on you." Six gently remarks as she buries her head against the pillow, overwhelmed by all of it. She's not used to him being like this but she's not complaining either. She is enjoying every second of this.
She exhales before lifting her head to talk. "Yeah, he did. Fuck, you really should've just joined us. It would've been really fucking amazing. You could've jerked off beside me and came all over me, too." she breathlessly says, telling him what she actually wants.
Court breaks into a chuckle from behind her. "We could try it next time. But, for now, I want you to keep touching yourself and don't stop, okay? We can stop anytime if you want, though. Just let me know, baby." he whispers directly into her ears.
She nods into her pillow, two of her fingers slowly pumping in and out of each other as his hand follows her every movement. She has muscle memory now because of last night. If every night is going to be just like this, then she doesn't even want to leave the penthouse anymore. This is her home already now, their home. They wished they could just stay here forever and live inside tiny moments like this one. It's exclusive. Private. Special. And they wouldn't trade anything else in the world for this.
After a few minutes, her eyes start to feel heavy and her hands pull out of her soaking core. She is turned on by this, but she's more relaxed than ever so now she's gotten sleepy. Because usually, they do this before bed to make her fall asleep. She lets out a tired sigh, "Fuck, I'm sorry, I'm so sleepy and—"
Six cuts her off before she starts apologizing too much. "Hey, Elle, it's okay. You can stop. Go back to sleep, okay? We still have tomorrow and the other tomorrow." he assures her sweetly, his free hand turning her chin around to make her look at him.
Her eyes meet his blue ones again and she faintly smiles. "I love that you're so understanding and caring for me." she barely says.
He chuckles softly, looking down at her eyes. "Yeah, I wasn't like that before. Before you." he truthfully admits.
Her smile widens, her hand reaching out to cup his jaw. "Aw, you're so fucking poetic. Come and kiss me," she playfully says and he immediately leans down to kiss her lips tenderly.
Court laughs softly at her remark, pulling his lips away from her. "It is true, you know. I've never done most of the things we do with anyone else before. You're very fucking precious to me, Elle. I need you to know that." he whispers to her, holding her soft face between both of his large hands.
She snorts, giving his lips a quick peck. "I know. I mean, now I know. Okay, I'm slurring my words, I'm gonna go back to sleep." she announces, slumping her head back against her pillow and she's turned away from him again. But they both don't mind it because they can feel each other really close, can hear each other's heartbeat and he has still a part of him inside of her.
"Do you still want to keep it in or do you want me to pull it out now?" Six asks her about his cock still buried deep inside of her hole. He always puts her needs before himself. He could care less about anything else in the world but her. He could take a little pain for her, it's not a big deal for him. She's the only one that matters.
She whimpers softly, shaking her head against the pillow. "No, keep it in, it's okay. We can pull it out in the morning. If that's okay with you." she softly answers.
Court nods, planting a kiss on her shoulder. "More than okay, Elle. We can do that." he gently replies.
She hums in response, adjusting her head to get more comfortable. "Good night, Court. Dream of me." she sleepily whispers.
He smiles softly. "I definitely will, don't worry. Good night, baby. Wake me up if you have another nightmare, okay? I don't mind it at all." Court sweetly murmurs to her, kissing her cheek from behind. He's the only one who can calm her after a horrible nightmare.
She simply nods, grabbing his large arm to pull him closer as he rests it on her stomach and her hands hold his, as usual. He leans his body against hers to settle in better before leaning his head back on her pillows, smelling the familiar scent of her. Her long hair brushes against his nose and he inhales her smell. He's been addicted to it since day one.
They both close their eyes together, slowly relaxing at each other's touch. Within a few seconds, they're already drifting to sleep at the same time. Dreaming of clouds and sunshine. Their heartbeats almost matches. Calm and tranquil.
At times like this and in peaceful moments like these, nothing else matters but them. It feels like the world froze and they're the only ones alive. Just them. And, Lloyd.
They're never leaving him out of the equation. He's stuck with them now. For good.

New fic just dropped!! I'm really proud of this one. If you read it, please tell me what you think!! I have a three part series planned, but it helps to think people might actually want a continuation.
(just an excerpt, the rest is only on AO3)
The Process of Forgetting
The Promise
"S-Swear it!" Stuttered a boy in a dingy flannel shirt. The other six children sitting around him looked and listened as if anything he said could be the most important thing any of them would ever hear. He held a shining shard of broken glass over his head as he stood. "Sw-swear that i-if it ever comes back, we'll come back too."
One by one, each child stood up with him. They watched, as he slowly and deeply cut across his palm with the glass, whimpering, but never stopping.
One by one he approaches the children and cuts their hands. First, a boy with wild black hair and coke bottle glasses. He cried out and shook his hand, trying to will away the pain, but snapped to attention when the next boy's hand was taken. The boy next to him was the smallest of any of the other kids in the group, and he had a broken arm. He couldn't look as his hand was slashed, but the bespectacled boy stroked his arm to comfort him, trying to ignore the pain in his own hand.
Each of the other children let him deeply open their hands without a single objection. The power that the boy held was palpable. He could suck all of the air out of the space while all of the attention snapped to him and his mission statement.
The ring of children stood, hands interlocked, as though they were a circuit or a delicately woven ring of flowers. They were covered head to toe in dirt, blood dripping all over them from the cuts on their hands, their eyes shining with adrenaline and determination. They had seen something no child should ever have to see. They did things no child should be expected to do. Their grips tightened, all together like one single breathing organism.
It went without saying. They swore. They made a blood oath to each other. To that stuttering boy they all adored. To themselves. They would be back. If It ever returned they'd be ready.
Bev: The First Gone
Beverly Marsh had experienced so much in her life. More than any young girl should ever have to. She palled around with a group of six boys that she adored, but that could never understand what she was going through, not really. There was one trauma they all shared and she was grateful she could talk to them about that, but she was hiding something from them.
The boys had their suspicions. They all loved Beverly and wanted her to be happy and healthy, and she was good at pretending, for a while. She couldn't keep up the "cool girl that doesn't need help from anyone" act for forever though. She was drowning. Every forced laugh was a fight to keep her head above water. She was beginning to sink. Better to sink than to float, she'd tell herself with a bitter laugh.
They'd noticed things, at first they were simple questions, simple observations.
One day Ben said to her, "Geez, how'd you get that bruise? It looks like it really hurts." She brushed it off as a fall from her bike.
Eddie would lecture her on proper bike safety with his silly little Sesame Street full safety pad set. He didn't even wear them once his mom stopped watching. The second Richie teased them he'd be tripping over himself to get them off. He insisted on bandaging her cuts and bruises. Once he gave them a strange look and then his eyes locked with Bev's. She held her breath because she thought this is it. But no, Eddie just patched her up without another word. It was funny because she thought if anyone would understand, it would be Eddie. His evil mom made his life hell. Though, sometimes Eddie would defend her. Say she wasn't that bad. She does these things because she loves him. I do these things because I love you Bevvy.
Richie would make tasteless jokes because of course, he was Richie. "Why does your dad care so much about what the fuck you do? Is he in love with you or something? Eddie's mom is in love with me, you know? Did'ya know that?" Then he'd snort-laugh and make kissy noises at Eddie, who sat next to him in the hammock of their secret clubhouse. All of them moved in slow motion while Bev's blood ran cold and her stomach turned. She knew that wasn't what Richie meant, yet she still felt in that moment like they could see through her skin down to her deepest darkest secrets.
She knew that if she was bent any further she'd break. Eventually there would be a joke she couldn't laugh off or a bruise she couldn't lie her way out of and the older she got, the angrier she got. Angry at herself for protecting her father, angry at her father for looking at her like no father should ever look at their daughter, for robbing her of a childhood. What the clown left for her, her father gleefully stole away. Mad at her friends for not figuring it out even when she thought it was obvious. Sometimes she'd wonder if they did know, but just thought it wasn't that big of a deal. That she was being dramatic. Mad at herself again for ever thinking something like that about her best friends, the closest thing she had to a real family.
One day, enough truly was enough. Beverly was 15-years-old and she decided she couldn't live another day as "daddy's little girl". She was going to fight and claw and bite even if it killed her, and she knew it might. She knew that her father didn't have any problem hurting her when he didn't get his way. If she had anything to say about it, her father would never have his way again.
When she was admitted to the hospital, her horrible secret was out. Her father was taken away, her aunt was called to take her in, and her boys? Well, her boys looked at her with an emotion they'd never looked at her with before, and it was one she hated on each of their faces. Pity. Like they didn't know how to act around her anymore, like she was some broken toy, and it was the worst feeling she'd ever experienced, seeing them look at her like that. And Beverly Marsh had a lifetime of shitty experiences to pull from.
Nothing was ever the same again. Beverly had a few weeks left in Derry, her aunt was staying with her long enough for them to get everything together for the move, and she knew she'd miss every last one of those boys fiercely. The grief of losing them felt like it would be enough to stop her heart, but she didn't get the goodbye she would have wanted. She wanted normalcy, but those last weeks were anything but.
Richie, her fellow goof-off smoke buddy couldn't even look her in the eye. All of them seemed afraid to touch her. Like she was made of glass. Like they were afraid now that it would somehow remind her of all the ways she never wanted to be touched, but it wasn't like that. Bev was comforted by the touch of her friends. This was a time when she needed that comfort the most.
Ben talked to her the most normally out of anyone. Though, he couldn't shake the sadness in his voice. "I'm - We're all gonna miss you like crazy." He said to her one night in the clubhouse.
A smile crept onto her face, "Oh come on, you know I'm gonna write. And call of course for the illiterate." She gets in close to whisper. "Richie."
"Really, Bev. If Richie's illiterate, what are we? He has better grades than any of us." Ben was obviously a little annoyed by this fact.
"Pretty impressive, seeing as how he's illiterate." She retorted with a wicked grin.
They both laugh together, their heads close, and it's the most normal she's felt since the day it all fell apart. The good warm feeling was stolen away when Ben seemed to notice how close they were and awkwardly moved away.
"Sorry." He said.
She released a long sigh. "It's fine. Really. I'm still the same Beverly that I always was."
Ben smiled a sad smile that told Bev all she needed to know. "Promise you'll write me?"
"Of course! I know how much you like all that old fashioned cheesy shit. You'll probably write me with a quill pen and send it via carrier pigeon."
His smile at that was genuine, if a bit shy. "Maybe I will."
"I hope you do!" She changed it, throwing herself forward and pulling him into a hug. "I'm gonna miss you too."
On the day that she moved, all of her boys came to see her off. There wasn't a dry eye between them, even Stan, who she'd never seen cry before. It might not have looked like he was crying to the untrained eye, but she could tell. They all hugged in a giant group hug that mimicked their positions in the blood soaked promise. This was a promise of sorts too. A promise that, even though they'll be apart, they're still the Losers Club.
"The Losers Club will rise again!" She shouted into the air. Sealing the promise to the universe. The boys erupted into a sea of cheers. "No one can keep me away from you boys for long. You're my family." Ben went awkward and red at that comment, and she planted a kiss on his cheek. The rest of them were a chorus of ooooos and she shook her head fondly.
She waved at them all with big exaggerated movements, her head hanging out the window.
"You better fucking call, Marsh, or I'll single handedly find you and kick your ass!" Richie shouted, then Eddie punched him in the arm. The two boys were standing a little closer than anyone else, as usual.
Bev beamed. "You couldn't keep me away if you tried, Tozier!" She kept her head out the window, hair blowing in the wind, until her boys were specs on the horizon.
Bev: The Forgetting
It started with small things. One day, her aunt would ask her to tell her stories about where she grew up, her friends, her school, and she would answer eagerly. Any chance to relive her best memories with her best boys, but very quickly things changed. Too quickly even, like a fog rolled in overnight. It wasn't long at all. The first week back, drafting a handful of letters, she started to forget their names. Just faces playing over and over again in her mind. She'd read the letters she started writing, and had no idea what she was talking about. It was like she was writing a story. She had no connection to the memories the letters described, and the letters had no addresses. Not even names, just titles, like Trashmouth and New Kid. It was weird. She'd never been much of a writer. At least, she thought she'd never been much of a writer.
She started at her new highschool and found that she blossomed. They would ask even simple questions like "Where did you grow up?" Or "Tell me about your family." She never had good answers. If people asked about her family she mentioned her aunt.
Her aunt was worried about her. Beverly would ask her things like, "What was the name of the town I grew up in?" or "What happened to my dad?" and she would just scrunch up her face and look at her with those pitying eyes that Bev hated. She couldn't stand to be pitied.
Her aunt put her in therapy a month after she moved in with her, and her therapist told her that she suffered from severe repressed memories and night terrors because of the awful trauma she experienced. The trauma she had no memory of and no one would really talk to her about. She supposed that filled in the blanks. The empty parts of Bev. Spacey Beverly Marsh. She repressed her past because of some fucking traumatic memories she couldn't even remember, so she could just deal with them.
Eventually she stopped worrying about the lost memories. She was making plenty of great new memories with her aunt and her amazing friends, but Bev couldn't help but feel like she was missing a big chunk of her heart. A space she just couldn't seem to fill no matter what she tried putting there. She still woke up screaming every once in a while. Not nearly as frequently as when she first arrived. Her therapist told her she was healing.
She was told that someday she may even get back her lost memories, but she couldn't help but sit up in her bed when she woke up from her terrifyingly real nightmares and think, are any of these things in my dreams actually memories? Her therapist told her that the clown monster that haunted her nightmares was probably some kind of metaphor for something, but the blurry faces of smiling little boys stuck with her. She always felt like she wanted to be smiling with them too.
Beverly was known to take on life like a bull by the horns. Fiery and passionate. This passion was noticed by a man named Tom Rogan. He was drawn to it like he was a moth and her red hair was a flame that he danced around. They both had an interest in design. Beverly had a talent and drive that was otherworldly. He had to have her. So he took her. All of her.
They started a clothing line together and were married.
Beverly felt strangely at home with him. Especially when he was cruel. She didn't like it. She hated it when he got like that, but it was familiar. She always told herself that it wasn't so bad. That he loved her, he just got mad sometimes. Something about him connected her to her past and she couldn't seem to let that go.
Her best friend, Kay, didn't agree. She saw Tom like a boiling pot. No matter how much it was watched, if it was left to boil, it would overflow. She was terrified of what might happen.

Character ask game meme!
And because I recently saw him on your dash and I love him….
Obi-wan Kenobi 👀
Orrrr if that’s too obscure dm me and I will send another!!! 🥰😎
Oh nothing too obscure about Obi-wan! I grew up with the prelogy. Saw all three of them in the theaters! Then even the postlogy. I have a pretty neutral opinion on Star Wars as a whole, but I am fairly knowledgeable (I've seen all the movies and almost all the live series). And while I'm not fannish about SW, I do like Ewan McGregor very much ;-)
one aspect about them i love
He looks like Ewan McGregor? LOL (for most of his life, as least) More seriously, he's kind, composed, good at heart. Also he looks so hot when he fights with a light saber (again, as Ewan. No offense to Alec Guiness)
one aspect i wish more people understood about them
I wish people were less hard on him. Did he make mistakes about Anakin? Yes. But he also genuinely did his best, with a kid that was dumped on him by his dying mentor. Said kid that grew up to become a rebellious and unbalanced teenager. Should the Jedi, and in particular his own master, have been more aware of Anakin's slide to the dark side? (like, you know, his tendency to slaughter desert people and all...) yes. But also, I feel like the "It's all Obi-wan's fault" is just Anakin's own narrative. But Anakin's fall is his own fault. And if you want to blame someone else, blame Palaptine.
(I've tried to keep this brief, but well, my BFF, with whom I've went to see episode II and episode III with, has always been Team Anakin, and I've always been Team Obi-wan, thus decades long discussions)
So anyway. I do believe Obi-wan did his best with that impossible kid.
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character
Damn, I can't come up with headcanons today, sorry. :-/
as well as
one character i love seeing them interact with
young Leia in the TV show. Those two really found each other, didn't they?
one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more
Padme. I liked the few scenes they had together. Obi-wan was kind and compassionate with her. I liked that he figured she was pregnant with Anakin's kid(s) but wasn't judgemental about it.
Also Bail Organa, because I really like him.
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have that involve them and one other character
He kept in touch with Leia after the events of the Obi-wan series (even if that doesn't really fit with original trilogy canon). They were too good together to part ways and never see each other again.

002 with reylo :)
Hi anon thank you for playing along with me (: fic ask meme for those who want to play along and reblog
When I started shipping them:
Omg so I wasn't a SW fan, Dad liked the films but Mum always made fun of Luke and I don't think I ever sat down and watched any. I had this sort of friend I met at a music festival who was emotionally... complex and he had a fixation on getting other people to like the correct things (there's a whole backstory with him) and one of those that he worked on with me was SW, so he forced me to watch TFA.
I did so at his behest and er, yeah the forest scene/bridal carry was what did it for me. I was totally enamoured with it and still am to this day, I couldn't fully articulate it at the time but the Death and the maiden vibes were what I was all over.
Tumblr media
It touched me on a very deep level that Kylo Ren forewent the practicality of the droid and took the girl instead (in his ARMS). There was so much there that did it for me from there, the interrogation scene where Rey overpowers Kylo was certainly compelling and so was their snow fight (that scene where she closes her eyes when their lightsabres are parrying... beautiful) - in fact there's so much material in TFA lol - so that told me a lot about their dynamic and why it was meaningful, but on a pure emotional level that really touched me.
Made that friend (not a friend anymore) very upset for liking SW incorrectly. Lol
My thoughts:
Everything that could be said about Reylo has been said and there's still yet more to say. It's my yardstick for other ships. Does it touch me on a deep emotional spiritual level? Does it make me swoon? Does it make me cry? Does it explain everything about the story? Is the belonging you seek not behind you, but ahead?
Tumblr media
What makes me happy about them:
Forget the droid, we have what we need. I can endlessly quote Kylo Ren and I absolutely adore him and Rey. I just love how they answer each other's wounds and that both of them are really dead-set on what their role in the story is (uncomplicated good girl and painfully evil and intimidating bad guy) and it's so hilariously not what they are meant to be at all. I love Kylo Ren when he's around Rey and I love Rey when she's around Kylo Ren, I love them figuring out stuff about each other, I love how angry he makes her, I love how inquisitive he is, I love how much the dynamic is more complex than at first glance, I love the emotions, the brilliant, brilliant, brilliant hope.
I love what the fandom taught me and I love what the dynamic taught me about my personal taste and allowed me to start liking stuff. I'm a very insecure person and I didn't even have the capacity to fully enjoy things lol. Things that make me happy are bad. So unlearning that is hard and in my fandom life that started with Reylo.
Tumblr media
What makes me sad about them:
That they didn't end up together with fat Jedi babies and heal the cosmic wound... that very sadly we got Reylo textual and canon, which was a win, but a Pyrrhic victory - Rose was written out, Poe had racist stereotypes attached to him, whatever the fuck they tried to say with the Stormtroopers was tone deaf and stupid, much of the film was just anodyne, corporate commercial bullshit and it should have been a three-year film (like the previous two films) instead of two and had Rian Johnson directing it. Whether you like him or not doesn't matter because it would've at least been fucking coherent.
It took me a really long time to feel remotely okay about Reylo to think about it in a happy way at all, like probably only until very recently. I was very very very sad for a long time afterwards. When the premiere confirmed our worst fears I cried lol.
This type of mythic romance feels and felt really rare... but I know what I'm looking for now, and though I don't think there'll be anything quite like Reylo - that same cultural and fandom moment - I haven't completely lost hope because I've learnt so much from it and what makes romance magic for me.
Things done in fanfic that annoys me:
Hahhahaha. I hate Dark Fuck Prince Kylo Ren, I hate Kylo Ren being forced to prostrate himself at Rey's feet and her positioned as Superior Being, I hate bad redemption theory (war crimes? War tribunal? Locking him up and making him talk to Rey through bars? Kylo Ren never fully redeemed? Kylo Ren ostracised permanently?), I hate sunshine Rey and Rey not portrayed as messed up as she is in canon and Kylo Ren being the obviously broken one, I hate anything that smacks of copy-and-paste romantic dynamics in general with the smug superior guy and the upstart bossy girl who never has any struggles except being just the right amount of sexy but not slutty (and still virginal, but the guy isn't) which is usually auxiliary to Dark Fuck Prince, I hate rivals-to-lovers... it's quite a list but it's a huge fandom with varying interpretations, made harder by the fact that TFA really led to a lot of people jumping to conclusions about the dynamic and running with familiar archetypes that were not there.
Things I look for in fanfic:
Soft Ben and Rey, Ben and Rey who are both in pain and vulnerable, brooding but not smug Ben, Rey being recognised as Ben's equal, good redemption theory (salvific mythic redemption with Ben fully reintegrated... I can only think of a few canonfics like this), anything that gets Ben's poetic voice right but also his casual voice and his tinge of sardonic humour shared with hers, fic that respects Ben's microexpressions as Kylo Ren - he does not smile and barely moves his face, communicates through his eyes,
Tumblr media
but he does when he's 'Ben',
Tumblr media
fic that respects that Ben respects Rey... I'm not necessarily looking for particular tropes or archetypes, I'm looking for the canon dynamic (canon with TLJ in particular that respects that Ben and Rey would not go back to being completely cruel to each other) but I read any setting.
In fact off the top of my head a lot of fanfics I've genuinely really enjoyed and touched me on a deep level were not canon-setting, and I think that's in part because writing effectively a third film is very hard as a fic author when something that is mythic might be out of your boundaries as a fic author, and it's a LOT harder to get right. So really I applaud any fic author that tries to do that whether or not we see eye to eye. Onya.
My wishlist:
People to stop being so weird about Reylo and enemies-to-lovers. It's okay to dislike it, just don't moralise it as an issue or make fandom fucking inhospitable for a lot of people and be so disrespectful to people with basic fucking interests.
I don't have any wishes for canon itself. That book is closed. There is absolutely no way they undo the third film and what it did and no way to redeem the wound. I doubt Adam Driver would come back for it because he signed up for SW under the understanding it would not devolve into schlock. Really you can't ignore the injustice done to the other characters with TROS either, so it's not a Reylo happy ending that's needed. What TROS was told us what the storytelling landscape is like now in commercial fiction: barren.
I don't think they can fix it unless they learn how to tell new and thoughtful and individual stories that make textual sense.
Tumblr media
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:
No. Absolutely not. Never. No one else. Rey is not boon for any of the characters. Poe does not get Jedi pussy (I've never had such singular spite for a writer, but fucking hell Colin Treverrow's script for the would-be third film was appalling). The romance is the thematic point of the Sequel Trilogy, it's the redemption, it's justified by virtue of it being Star Wars. When you canonship and the ship is so hard canon and the canon is the ship it just can't be written any other way. The only other way it could be written is if Kylo Ren is not fallen to the Dark Side and Rey is not the protagonist. You only get the effect of her nobody-status in respect to the Skywalker scion and prodigal son.
Tumblr media
Finn would have to be the protagonist. They would really need to capitalise on the angle of the First Order Stormtrooper discovering himself and I wish that there were more of that in the first film or it could've conceivably been its own series but that would be asking for an original story, wouldn't it.
I think this is where the parlance for shipping gets muddy because once you've got a reading of canon intertwined with your ship it's not really just shipping anymore.
My happily ever after for them:
Fat Jedi babies, green Jakku, Jedi Order but with marriage, fully redeemed Kylo Ren/Ben Solo, Ben Solo's tentative and awkward and funny friendship with the Good Guys, full reconciliation, Rey not alone having found her belonging and completed her Heroine's Journey... you know.
It could've been so, so, so easy. I really don't understand how they didn't see the cashgrab there because selling Ben Solo hanging out with Finn is something you could've done in your sleep. They fucked it. They completely fucked it. All of my belief in the hope of pop culture, commercial storytelling, and good storytelling being able to exist died. I don't think franchises can do it; you can't make transformation and you can't stake any meaning. They wanted to turn the Skywalker name into a superhero mantle and they FUCKED IT.
So it taught me that at least and now I know. But I wanted them to be happy together. I wanted a happy ending. I wanted to believe in something good.
Tumblr media
I watch this fanvid near weekly, near daily. It's basically the only thing that makes me feel okay about Reylo lol. It's my deep cosmic emotional wound, if you will, and it needs healing...

This is a genuine question....why has the Jedi Council Forums been taken over by toxic Finn fans?
I'm not judging ALL Finn fans as toxic; I'm pretty sure some reylos are, there's a toxic element to most fandoms. I've seen plenty of lovely Finn and FinnRey fans, and let's face it...we are ALL entitled to like whatever character we want, and 'ship' however we want.
But....the JCF has some very nasty Finn fans. And these people have a particular hatred for anyone who likes Kylo/Ben...even if they aren't reylos.
As I've said so many times...I've been banned for mentioning Ben in a Finn thread twice. But, I'm sure as everyone knows, forum threads can be like Red Robins...you can start off talking about one thing and end up going completely off topic. In fact, on the JCF people went so way off topic on a JJ Abrams thread they made a joke of it!
When it comes to Finn and Kylo however, it's a different kettle of fish.
My comment, that got me banned was this: 'The ST should have been Ben Solo's story.'
And I stand by that. Not because, as I was accused of doing, I was 'putting the white character in front of the Black male lead.' But, because it was the Skywalker saga - not the Stormtrooper Saga. It wasn't the Scavenger Saga either. One of my biggest beefs is how DLF turned the Skywalker Saga into the story of two complete strangers. Even worse, they have made it the Palpatine Story.
Earlier on that same forum I had posted how depressed Ben's fate had left me...I'm a clinical depressant and SW was actually a lifesaver for me throughout bad times in my life. Another poster then replied telling me how delighted he was, as it 'served me right for liking Han's killer.'
I'm a clinical depressant. That individual could have driven me to taking my own life, yet his post remained up, and a poster who angrily accused him of being a 'dick' was threatened with a ban. Apparently calling someone a dick is far, far worse than practically telling a depressant they're glad they are depressed.
What does worry me is that some of the hatred the JCF Finn fans have for the Kylo Ren character is starting to bleed out onto Adam. I still 'lurk', just to see if they are still as poisonous as ever (they are) and also because they often have some interesting links. I've seen that some of them are now not just criticising the 'loathsome young man' Kylo Ren, but they are also criticising Adam from anything from his appearance to his acting skills....this isn't fair.
I think it all boils down to 'reylo' being 'canon' in TROS....yet how is this Adam's fault? In fact, I don't really see it as 'canon'...the film and book make it very plain that Rey didn't give a toss for him. I've even recently seen that the 'end scene' originally featured Rey looking 'sad', presumably because of Ben's fate, and they scrapped it in favour of 'Stepford Smiler' Rey.
The truth is, Rey 'ended up' with no one.
'Rey doesn't need a boyfriend.' This is DLF's new mantra, women don't need men. I suspect she'll remain stubbornly single in the forthcoming film, the director apparently is a 'champion' of women's equality, which is fine, but does Rey, and do we, the moviegoers, really need to see even more 'Rey, icon of female empowerment?' This one doesn't.
The JCF attitude to Adam/Kylo is frankly disturbing. At the end of the day, Kylo/Ben was a fictional character. They need to leave Adam alone. He took nothing from John Boyega. Abrams and Terrio did.

I'm going to ramble about my SW OCs for a bit, since @zeawesomebirdie said he was interested!
So, when I say Star Wars OCs, I actually have 4: Cehim Velm, who's a Pau'an mapmaker, and the three Jedi, Korcha Serach who's a Harch, Reil Zilarrest who is human and Devafe Ardolald who's an Arkanian (to give you an idea of what they look like, here are drawings of them I've done before: Cehim here, Korcha here and the padawans there). Korcha was Reil and Devafe's master, and she's very much based on a japanese teacher I had in school whom I respect a lot, whereas her Padawans and Cehim aren't really based on anyone besides some aspects of me. Here's two timelines I have on hand, the first one is just the Jedi and the second one is kind of a quick sequels chronology with important dates, characters, and their ages at said dates, for comparison.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which is what I'll use to start on Reil: you'll notice he 'dies' in -19 BBY, because technically if we follow the events of canon, he absolutely would not have survived Order 66, as opposed to the other two who might have, I still have to decide (though of course in my head everything is fine everyone is happy and they all live to be very old) The reason is Reil is a crèchemaster, and well, we know what happened to the younglings.
Reil loves working with the kids, loves seeing them grow and learn, the way they're young but creative and clever and kind. Korcha also likes younglings, but more for what they represent than anything else: she's very respectful of traditions, and seeing the new generation of Jedi, with their little tabards, learning the thousand-year-old traditions, always makes her feel warm. She's more suited to one-on-one instruction, though, and she doesn't particularly want to take care of a group of 15 children for too long. Devafe is the only one who didn't inherit the youngling-loving genes, if you will, because she isn't a fan of kids running everywhere and being active and noisy, she likes her calm too much. The only ones she appreciates are the quiet ones who come to the Archives to read, because they have that love of books in common.
In general, Devafe is more drawn towards mental, intellectual things, whereas Reil is a very physical person. She loves sitting down and reading, writing essays, meditating, and Korcha had to push a little for her to put as much effort into the more physical aspects of training. Reil is the opposite, he prefers tangible things, activities where you can clearly feel what you're doing, and even if learning lightsaber combat was harder for him because he's visually impaired, he preferred spending an afternoon going through katas again than being stuck listening to a recording of a book he has to read (because, headcanon time: I imagine they have audiobooks in a galaxy far far away, but the really interesting texts Padawans get assigned as readings don't necessarily have a recording, and if that was the case he had to listen to Korcha or one of his friends read him the book, which can get old quick. In any case, he wasn't a fan) Devafe's hobbies obviously include reading, but she also likes playing board games, and she has an interest in geography, while Reil is more the type to have plants, to do pottery or to paint.
Korcha is is a strict Master: she wants her Padawans to do the best they can, to really invest themselves and to be serious about learning. She gave them help if they needed it, she went over things they hadn't understood and explained them again, but they couldn't just vaguely do it to say it's done. She had to get better at helping, because she tended to assume people weren't cooperating when they just didn't understand or didn't know how to go about it, but the Padawan isn't the only one learning things during the apprenticeship haha. While she’s strict, she will never pass up an occasion to sing the praises of her Padawans to someone else, and she’s very family-oriented, in a way: she regularly hosts little get-togethers with her extended lineage and friends where people bring food and have a chat, and when she sees all the people she loves in the same room having fun together it warms her heart. She also puts a lot of importance in traditions, she respects them a lot, she's very proud of contributing to the Order, and of helping it grow and prosper by training new Jedi.
This, by the way, is why both Reil and Devafe had the silly Padawan haircut: I personally headcanon it's an old tradition and Masters are free to ask it of their Padawans or not. Obviously, Mrs Traditions Are Important had them wear it, and let me tell you they both were glad to grow it out, though not really in the same way. Reil, though he's let his hair grow when he became a Knight and hasn't cut it since, kind of liked the clear, tangible reminder that he was someone's apprentice, that he belonged with the Order. Devafe was less enthusiastic and mostly thought it was ugly, I imagine she was pretty happy the serious Master Serach wanted her to be her Padawan, but when she had to cut her hair short like that she felt a bit disappointed.
Korcha, given that she's based on a language teacher of mine, is kind of specialised in languages. I haven't thought of all the languages she studied, but she speaks quite a few of them, and can do a good translation job. Devafe somewhat followed in her footsteps, but focussed on only one or two, and really got familiar with the culture's litterature and culture. Reil wasn't as interested, and while he picked up a few things it's not really one of his skills.
I imagine Devafe as the kind to want to specialize in Makashi, if that helps get a better reading of her vibes, while Reil is probably better at Shii-Cho or Niman, and Korcha remains to be decided. After a little research, I determined that Reil probably has an acceptable level in lightsaber combat, given that he can't really see much. I think it would make sense for him to use a shoto, or at least one of those adjustable-length sabers, because the closer you are to the person you're fighting the better it is when you don't see them. His level certainly wouldn't be good enough to send him on missions that would involve combat or, later on, to battles in the war, especially if you add his disability, but he prefers staying at the Temple and teaching the younglings in any case. He would win against someone who isn't really trained in combat and doesn't know him, but that's about it. However, he was trained, knighted and lives in an era where there's no actual need to be excellent at combat: there are no Sith anymore, and lightsaber combat is mostly a sport. It's understandable he wouldn't be incredible at it, and it's not a skill he absolutely needs, so overall it's fine. As for Devafe, she didn't particularly want to spend hours sparring, but she likes being good at things, and she couldn't just let herself be acceptable at it: she wanted to have a good level if only to have a good level, and she put effort into it (that, and Korcha wouldn't have let her slack off anyway)
I haven't mentioned it yet, but she's also a very honest person, who will say what she thinks if she says anything. That and the fact she applied herself to be good at as many things she could meant she was totally the type to say things like 'oh, it's fine, you weren't very likely to win' after a spar with another Padawan, not because she's mean or she thinks she's inherently better like people assume she is based on the fact she's Arkanian, but because that's true: she spent time practicing and they didn't, that's the logical conclusion. Korcha, who was the same kind of kid except she did think she was a little better than others and had to learn humility, has to remind her to avoid saying that kind of thing, and that honesty isn't always the best course of action even if it's true.
Finally, I wanted to give them sort of a lineage theme: Korcha’s master was a Bothan who saw this little spider girl who acted like she was cooler than everyone else and that other Jedi didn’t particularly want to take on and made her their Padawan; Korcha did the same for a blind boy Masters didn’t know how to train and an Arkanian kid with a reputation for being too full of herself. Not that I’m saying Jedi are prejudiced and assholes, not at all, just that sometimes you don’t think you’d do a good job at teaching that specific kid for whatever reasons. And that’s a good thing, if you don’t think you would work well with one of the Initiates then don’t take them as your Padawan, that’s better for everyone involved! But Korcha’s Master and Korcha herself thought they could do it and they did.
So here, that was for my three Jedi, I love them very much and they’re cool <3 I actually have maybe a few more things on them and I didn’t talk about Cehim but honestly that’s enough of a novel for tonight haha

365: April 14-16
Excuse me just vomits out all my SW/Destiny crossover emotions There will be more because I'm having very much fun ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
---
Wolf was used to Padmé finding her after a Senate session to complain about it. Today was no different. The human came up and Wolf was happy to listen to her friend rag on Senator Por't'a O-Sol who complained long about how he worried that a craft guild in his system might be making noise about joining the Separatists. Wolf made noises to indicate she was listening as Padmé had not properly learned how to read a helmet yet. They were walking but Wolf wasn't quite sure where. She could vaguely hear Fox and Gregor behind them discussing something else.
"This has really got you in a state," Ghost said as they came to an intersection in the hall and had to pause for cross walking of other people in the Senate going across. "Usually it doesn't bother you this much."
Padmé took a breath like she was trying to master herself and then gave up. "Sometimes I just want to complain about stupid men," she said.
Wolf laughed softly. "We know all about that," Ghost said as they continued walking.
"Does Wolf ever lump you in with them?" Padmé asked innocently.
"No? Why would she? I'm not a man," Ghost said curiously.
"You're not?"
"No. I'm a Ghost," he said.
Padmé looked very confused. "Ghosts only have the genders they're assigned by people," Wolf said as explanation. "I call him he-
"But I really don't mind one way or another," Ghost shrugged with his fins.
"How curious. We gender our droids but they... are gendered," Padmé said.
"And as we've been over, I'm not a droid. I'm a Ghost," Ghost said rather cheerfully.
"Yes. Of course," Padmé said graciously. They'd arrived at some less used elevators. "I guess it's easy to get caught up in your own pre conceived notions," she said thoughtfully, hitting the button to call an elevator.
"You Republicans do tend to do that with Guardians," Ghost said and Padmé grimaced.
"So what were you saying about Zing Kay'ortha?" Wolf prompted because despite everything she did love hearing Padmé complain. It meant she didn't have to talk back which was great because she was awful at Senate politics still.
Being reminded Padmé quickly launched into a tirade about Zing as the elevator came and the four of them stepped in. Padmé pressed the button for her suite's floor and the elevator went up. Wolf kept listening politely, knowing Ghost and Fox were paying more attention than her. She followed Padmé out and was welcomed into Padmé's home in the Senate.
Fox laughed when Padmé grabbed her wig and threw it on the couch. "Uhg!"
"Why do you wear it if you don't like it?" Wolf asked.
"I do. It's just a lot today," Padmé said. "It's hard being a voice of reason when everyone is so ready to go to war." Then she paused and sighed, looking at Wolf and Fox. "Which you two are unsympathetic to."
"All we've known is war soooo," Wolf heard the sarcastic grin on Fox's voice. "Even if this is some seriously baby stuff." Fox sat on the couch, Wolf took a chair. Only now in the privacy of Padmé's home did they remove their helmets.
"You don't say," Padmé went to the wet bar and poured them all a drink. Not alcoholic. Padmé didn't drink like that unless at a function, which Wolf could appreciate.
"Well we were invaded by four species at once. So yes. Having a slap fight over trade agreements seems... trivial," Fox said. Then she perked up when Amelia came over and spoke into her ear. "What?"
"What?" Ghost asked.
"Wait," Fox looked at her tablet quickly. "Fuck- fuck," she jumped to her feet. "So sorry I need to run. I forgot I had a meeting with the aide of the CEO of-- uh," she looked at Amelia.
"Of the Limited Perfecta," Amelia said.
"Right! Them," Fox said.
"Who?" Wolf asked.
"They want to open up talks with the Empress. Shit I totally forgot. I need to go," she crammed her helmet back on. "See you home," and she signed to Wolf 'don't talk too much' which made her chuckle. Then she quickly saw herself out.
"Oh-- she really ran off," Padmé said, turning around with the refreshments.
"What's the Limited Perfecta?" Ghost asked her.
"It's a conglomerate that runs sports arenas," Padmé said putting Wolf's drink down. "Both legal and... not so legal," she added.
"Why would they want to talk to Empress Caiatl?" Ghost asked, shell clicking back and forth in confusion.
"Proving," was all Wolf said. Padmé sat where Fox had been sitting.
"... Why does this system always take our sacred rites as games?"
"I dunno. Ask Saladin," Wolf said mildly and grabbed her drink.
"That's not what the Iron Banner is," Ghost huffed.
"Sure," Wolf took a sip of the drink, it was some mild but very aromatic fruit juice of some sort.
"I'm sorry for my behavior," Padmé said while Wolf was drinking. All she could do was make a confused noise. "It appears my emotions are getting the better of me today. It's just that time."
"It's fine," Wolf said. "And what time? Should I go?" Wolf didn't get the phrase and that was besides the fact she'd learned Basic about four months before having to come to the Senate so sometimes idioms were lost on her.
"Only if that makes you uncomfortable," Padmé said. Wolf just kept looking confused. "It's that time of the month," Padmé said as explanation.
Wolf had no idea what she was talking about. "Oh," she said but Padmé didn't sound thrilled about it. "I'm sorry? Are you sure?" Shit was Padmé dying or something?
"Yes I left my medication at the bar this morning before our session. Didn't really register until now," Padmé huffed and leaned back on the couch, moody.
Wolf just sipped her drink and desperately looked at Ghost for help. He looked at confused as she was. "What's the medication for?" she asked and hoped she didn't come across as ignorant.
Padmé gave her a look. "You know," she said. "Right? Surely they have birth control in Sol."
"Yes," Ghost said because Wolf had no idea and she hoped very much it didn't show on her face. When Padmé said it she realized what it was but she had no idea what it would do. She was effectively an undead being. She breathed and acted like a normal living thing but some things just didn't work. Like bleeding, or having a steady pulse, and she was pretty sure if you scanned her brain it'd show as dead even if she was perfectly alive. She'd been a rotting corpse and skeletal remains for centuries before Ghost had found her.
"I don't take any," Wolf said hoping that would solve that mystery.
Padmé blinked at her. "You don't? Does Shin know that? Does he?"
Wolf was thrown by the question. "No, he does, and... no?" Shit was that the right answer? She was just answering truthfully she didn't know if she even needed to lie about this kinda stuff.
"How long have you been together again?"
"Uhh-" she looked at Ghost.
"I believe by Sol years it will be eleven years in a few months," Ghost said.
"I can never keep track. Shin cares about anniversaries and stuff," Wolf said almost apologetically.
"Really? You're both so young. That's so sweet," and Wolf felt like she was losing even more control over this situation. "I didn't know you two were trying for a family." Wolf's eyes widened. Oh dear. That was not what she was expecting this conversation to go.
"What- no that's not-
"You don't have to be coy with me," Padmé said with a grin. "That's wonderful. I'm happy for you." Wolf didn't even know what to say because Padmé looked genuinely excited on her behalf. "Have you planned anything out yet? Do your friends know?" Padmé gasped, "Am I the first one?" she seemed giddy at the thought.
Wolf looked at Ghost desperately. She had no idea what to say or do. Internally she was just screaming.
Thankfully Ghost was better at talking than her. "Padmé I just want to remind you Wolf's a very private woman. You're making her uncomfortable," he said gently.
"Oh! Oh I'm so sorry," Padmé said empathetically. "I got totally ahead of myself I look like such an idiot. We don't have to talk about it. I can only imagine how stressful it is trying to start a family while also being a Senator to such an important and dynamic system like Sol." Yeah. Right. Absolutely. And not, you know, that that wasn't what they were doing at all! "Forget I said anything," she waved her hand as if to dispel the air around them.
"Fox didn't tell us about her meeting with Limited Perfecta. I'd love to hear more," Ghost said and Wolf was so grateful he changed the subject. And if it was one thing Padmé was wonderful at it was explaining to the both of them some intricate political or economic dynamic happening in the Republic. Wolf didn't say a fucking word and just quietly drank her drink while Padmé talked to Ghost.
----
Shin found his girlfriend face down on the couch, no helmet, no suit. He paused in drying his hair with a towel looking at her. "Uh... are you okay?" he asked. Wolf made a loud groaning sound into the pillows like she was in pain but otherwise didn't move.
"We just go back from visiting Padme," Ghost said.
"Oh. Isn't she your friend? You usually like hanging out with her," Shin said slowly. Wolf spoke into the pillows. "I can't understand you when you're telling the cushions, darlin'," Shin said.
Wolf sat up and looked at him, "Padme thinks we're trying to have a baby," she said, deadpan.
Shin stood there in just a towel, an extra one over his shoulder. "How'd she get that impression?"
"Apparently human ladies have like... cycles? And Padme takes stuff so she doesn't get pregnant and she asked me if I did; which I don't because why would I?" Wolf asked him like she was crazy. "And then she asked if you did and I said no. And then she just assumed we're trying to have a baby!"
"Does she know we're undead?" Shin asked her, cocking his head. "And even if by some twist of the Light you were capable I shoot blanks."
"We agreed we weren't going to tell these people we're chosen dead," Wolf said.
"Riiiight."
"I think she's going to start planning a baby shower or something for me. We got off the topic but she came back around to it," Wolf said miserably.
"And you didn't tell her no?"
"I got flustered okay!"
Shin chuckled. "Yeah. I know, darlin'," he smirked.
"Uggh," Wolf covered her face with both hands. "She was just acting so snippy today about other Senators and apparently it has to do with that kinda stuff. That's why it even got brought up."
The door opened. "Why did I just get a message from Padme's aide about what traditions in Sol are like for new families?" Fox asked once the door was closed.
Wolf groaned and flopped back into the couch face first. "Padme thinks Wolf and I are trying to get pregnant," Shin said.
"That is categorically an impossibility not to mention physically impossible," Fox said, still not understanding.
"Yeah. We know," Shin said.
"How did she get that idea?"
"Wolf was too nice to tell her she was wrong," Shin said mildly, maybe enjoying how miserable it was making his girlfriend a bit too much. It was pretty funny.
"So what should I tell her?" Fox said.
"Nothing! Because we're not," Wolf cried.
"She seems the type to suggest alternative methods if... normal methodology doesn't work," Fox said.
"Traveler, it's almost as bad as talking about my sex life with Cat," Wolf said miserably to no one.
"I'll talk to her," Shin said.
"No you will not," Wolf said pointedly, sitting back up to look at him.
Shin rolled his eyes. "I'm not going to be a dick about it. These Lightless Republicans need to be coddled and let down gently about stuff when they have no idea what they're talking about. Also you didn't tell her no and she won't believe Fox," he motioned to the Warlock. "She'll believe me if I tell her what."
There was a pause, "Fine," Wolf groaned.
"So... what should I tell the aide?" Fox asked.
"Nothing. I'll talk to Padme tomorrow," Shin said.
"Great. Crisis adverted. I'd hate to think if this got around and suddenly the entire Senate was trying to get on your good side sending you baby presents."
"I'd literally rather die," Wolf said miserably.
----
Shin didn't like dealing with Senators. Not if he couldn't help it. He was here strictly to support Wolf and be a gun if things got hairy. Padme was... fine. One of the least annoying politicians he'd known honestly. He had Fox make him an appointment properly and made sure she squeezed in time for him even though he knew Padme was busy.
Gregor opened the door for him when he arrived and let him into Padme's office, a copy of Wolf's just with a slightly different view and more plants. He was surprised by the plants honestly. Some of them reminded him of the crazy shit they grew in Neomuna. Padme smiled when she saw him, even in his cloak and helmet. He was polite and removed it when he sat at the chair opposite her desk.
"Didn't think you moved around without your better half," Padme said, smiling brightly at him like she knew something exciting.
"I go where needed," Shin said. "This is, unfortunately, not a social visit."
"Oh? Is something wrong?" Padme asked.
Shin breathed in deeply like he was readying himself for something. "Wolf told me about the conversation you had yesterday," he said. Padme nodded. "She wouldn't admit it but you made her upset."
"What? Why? That wasn't my intention at all," Padme said quickly.
"She knows that so she's not mad at you. She just was uncomfortable about your talk," Shin said gravely. He could see the question in her eyes. "Wolf isn't fertile," he said simply. It wasn't a lie but it wasn't exactly true either. "She doesn't like talking about it," he said as Padme covered her mouth with her hand. Which was a lie. Wolf didn't care but also... Wolf didn't care.
"Oh... oh I'm so sorry. I had no idea," she said.
"She knows that. But that's why I'm here. She didn't want to make you upset when you got an idea into your head. It's just... an impossibility," he said with great care. "Yesterday after your talk she was face down on the couch," not a lie but Shin omitted she was miserable not upset.
"I didn't know. She didn't tell me," Padme said.
"I know. It's not a thing we talk about. So just don't bring it up again?"
"Of course," Padme nodded. "I feel so bad now. I didn't mean to bring up something so upsetting." There was a pause, "I'm sure you've looked into it in Sol but here in the Republic-
"Padme," Shin said sharply. "Just let it go," realizing she was going to try and convince him some tech they had could help. Not that there was anything to help. Shin knew Wolf didn't even like kids all that much.
"Right. Sorry," she grimaced.
"Good. Thank you. That's all I wanted to talk about really," Shin got up and put his helmet back on. "Have a nice day, Padme. And don't beat yourself up about it too much, she's not mad."
"Thank you," Padme said but still looked upset at herself for being so insensitive.
Shin left her office, pinging Wolf as he did. "Yeah?" she asked, up beat.
"You in meetings?"
"For a little while, yeah. Why?"
"Just got done talking to Padme."
"And?"
"You might get some apology flowers-
"Aww. That's sweet," Wolf said. "But completely unnecessary," she added.
"But she did look like she'd rather die than bring it up again."
"Oh thank the Traveler," Wolf sighed as Shin got into an elevator to go down to Wolf's office level.
"Wanna play hookie and go to the range to shoot their little laser guns?" Shin asked with a grin, leaning against the inside of the elevator.
Wolf groaned, "Yes but I can't," she complained. "After. You coming here?"
"Yes."
"Great, you can scowl at this Corporate stooge Ghost and Fox are talking to. Something something pharmaceuticals," she said in disinterest.
Shin chuckled. "Sure thing, darlin'," he said as the elevator door opened and he walked out.

YO WHAT THE FUCK OKAY FULL COMENTARY UNDER THE CUT
AHAHAHAA PELI YOU ARE HUSTLING PEOPLE I SHOULDA KNOWN. "It's Boonta Eve, it's ripe!" You fucking con artist. roflmao Also love that she's still missing the tooth. Guess we don't regrow those in the SW universe then. Or dental care is just as expensive there.
"Still faster than I know what to do with" that's what happens when you get a sports car instead of a practical minivan.
No he didn't say Peli he said booger. I clearly heard him say booger. That is your name now he's calling you booger since you refuse to call him by HIS name. :P
That one pit droid is fed the fuck up. LOL
SHE JUST CALLED HIM GRAMPA. slfjghajkldfhgjkladfhjkg Oh my god Peli.
R5 really said fuck no. XD
PELI YOUR DROID HAS PTSD.
Din you are a fucking sucker. And this is why Peli keeps letting you come back. LOL (Well, that and the kid.)
"I thought you said it was built for adventure" and you believed her ass?? When the droid was acting like THAT? Buddy. My guy. dkjfhgljkadfghjadf
DIN BACKSTORYYYYY. I'm sorry his voice right now is so soft I am melting. ;.; Explaining everything to the kid as he goes I just. Ffffffffffffffffffff. (Also no you are not cut off come on that baby can just ET phone home Luke again and tell him your ass needs saving. LOL)
Listen when Boba said they turned the planet to glass I didn't think he was being that literal.
…okay so the helmets don't filter out atmospheric poison? Well that seems an oversight in the design now doesn't it?
"That wasn't a question" FUCKING. DUMPS HIM. DIN. I KNOW YOU'RE UPSET IT'S NOT IG BUT DAMN BRO. This droid is about to get gakked isn't it?
"Don't be a baby." DIN ROFLMAOOOOO OH MY GOD. I'm dying this is hilarious. I am literally sitting here wheezing.
"I'll pressurize my helmet." Okay so he CAN filter it out. Also Grogu's noises are a lot more human so far this season. ffffff
Din you should know by now that when the kid is Big Worried he Knows Something.
Oh hey it's the mudhorn cave but remodeled for smooth shiny.
I'm sorry what the FUCK are those?
DIN WOULD YOU QUIT USING THE BLADE YOU STRUGGLE TO USE AND KICK ASS IN THE WAY YOU KNOW HOW WHERE IS YOUR FUCKING BLASTER BRO. The weapon you know is always better than the one you don't come ON man.
"Bo Katan was right." Except that most recent time when she lied to you and said it was poisoned.
BABY'S LIL POD CAN FLY ALONGSIDE HIM OH MY GOD.
I mean I would still have the pod shut for this bit if it were me but you know.
God Disney why'd you have to make this section so DARK? Light your fuckin scenes ffs.
NOW he gets the blaster out.
…cave massiffs? Because that's kinda what they look like.
I'm sorry what the FUCK?
Whelp. Baby's out of the pram again. Gonna have to save his dad. Again. It would be great if I could SEE what was HAPPENING.
Wait that little fucker has a living thing inside it. WHY DOES IT FUCKING. LOOK LIKE THE INSIDES OF A DALEK?
IS THE BABY GOING TO USE THE DARKSABER BECAUSE I SWEAR TO GOD
…there is a smudge in the middle the screen approximately the right width for a kitty paw. A certain naughty fuzzball has been on the TV stand in the middle of the night again I see.
OH MY GOD THE KID CAN DRIVE ROFLMAO
"Get to Bo Katan" buddy she hates you.
Awww issa wee lil dragon.
Well it's not the first time the kid has taken an astromech cab I guess.
"Let's get rid of him once and for all." Good job miss "we're stringer together" that falls apart real quick don't it. I'm sorry is he interrupting your fucking pity party? Also YOUR MAJESTY? Bitch you have no kingdom.
"I want to be left alone." GOD just sit and cry about it SHIT girl get it together.
Wow she is actually going after him. …or are you going after the sword?
See even HER ship is better for a family car than yours Din. Are you gonna let Bo freaking Katan have a better ship than you?
"I'm gonna need you to guide me to him. Can do you that?" "Duh." The fucking raspberry when she rolls her eyes rofl like lady you are my last choice but dad said go to you.
Bo if you stopped taking your helmet off for dramatic effect every 5 minutes you could maybe get more done. You know what this is the real reason Din's group is supposed to keep their helmets on. Some fucker in their past kept doing what you do and got beaned while they were vulnerable. Did you not installa vocoder in there or what?
"My family ruled it all." then you fucked it up good job, girlboss. Keep trauma dumping on a literal infant.
Oh wow she's actually being NICE for once. Then again I guess Grogu has that effect on people.
"If they survived, I wonder what else might have too?" See? Maybe you shoulda gotten off your depression chair sooner and actually checked things out. All that time you didn't once think to try looking around the planet you said you wanted to reclaim? Seriously??? Is that what you call leader behavior?
Now you see, Kryze, this is why having so little armor can be a problem. We talked about this in season 2.
OK fine. I will give her points. Watching her fight with the darksaber is kinda badass.
"Any Mandalorian worth their armor was raised on this since they were his size" well maybe when you cut off a section of your people from their resources and traditions some of them get lost and they have to cling to others.
"What pains me is seeing our people fight" does it? Because you seem to have egged some of it on yourself. You have the same pride. And you know what they say about pride and falling.
waitwait you had a light and you are just NOW bringing it out?
This nicey nice bit is making me VERY afraid they are in fact going to try and force a romance between these two and I do not want it. dfkljghaljkdfhg
OK pet peeve it's tenets not tenants dkfjhgkjaldfhkjlgadfhl unless you are reciting the names of people who rented shit from you then I guess maybe. XD
BO DON'T YELL AT THE BABY ABOUT IT. He can sense you're all upset and shit come on. Magic baby. You knew Jedi you know what he can fuckin do.
TOUR GUIDE BO KATAN. jfc
WHY is this SCENE not LIT jesus christ
ah dammit you're gonna walk in with all the armor on then. Booooo.
Wow you almost had a moment there. Sploosh.
Goddammit they're making me hate her less. rofl She's still pretentious tho so. On thin ice.
Din you need to quit almost dying for fucks sake.
And now Bo Katan is probably freaking the fuck out because she likely has heard the same prophecy Din was told about, and Din Fucking Djarin just woke the mythosaur.

I’ve been thinking back throughout January 2021 and it’s lowkey absurd just how much of a comfort media SW has become for me.
Not because it is because in hindsight it’s stupidly obvious. We have one of the only fully fleshed out corruption arcs, the ultimate Heather(tm) type of character at least twice over to the point that the idea of one of them not resonating with me would’ve been a joke, a romance that embodies too many of my tropes, and a storyline that feels so in line with the messages that brought me into KH in the first place it was really only inevitable I’d be at least invested in this series.
But sometimes I really think about how much I went off about hating Star Wars since 2010 all over my different internet profiles and its just wild how I could go from hating SW on principle to being like “Hey um actually this wasn’t half bad like it’s not my favorite thing ever but I am getting some enjoyment” to “Well I guess this is where my brain latched onto we’re going to be in this for a month” to “ANAKIN” over the course of probably six or so months is so funny to me since I think I knew right from the start I actually liked this series (even the bad ones, for the most part) I just absolutely refused to admit it. Like is anything here high quality for modern standards? No probably not but I like them and that’s what matters.
#personal stuff#This feels very random but I've been thinking about the three panic attacks I've had in the last month#And how all three times after the initial attack subsided and I could think again it's been writing Anakin that's grounded me and brought me#back to the point where I didn't feel like I was going to spiral again into another one#It's funny because I'd normally haha how the mighty have fallen but I'm just glad it happened#Also while I'm in the tags I sometimes think about how I'd almost watched SW in high school#It was probably a little after the first thing that actually made me think about SW as something that could be interesting#(Some post a mututal reblogged back in like 2012 I don't remember it now)#And my dad and I were spending the afternoon at home while my sister and mom were doing something they needed to do#And my dad was going through Netflix to try to find something for us to watch since that was the point TV and modern pop culture started to#lose their appeal to me completely because I was getting more gratification from fanfiction and/or writing so my dad trying to find#something that I wanted to watch was just immensely difficult (as hard as it is now honestly but we spend less time alone at home now)#And he asked me if I was interested in Star Wars and despite having had my curiosity in the series briefly piqued because of that post I#said no I wasn't because he doesn't like SW at all and I didn't want to like the series because my family didn't and we moved on and put on#something else or we played Halo or something that I don't really remember now#And I just think about that interaction sometimes like...what would have happened differently had I gotten into the series then#Had I said ''Okay let's watch the first Star Wars it might be fun''#Would I have celebrated Galaxy's Edge or would the parks fan in me still been pissed at its existence in Disneyland proper#Perhaps I'd be a lot more open with my family of what I like in SW and less conscious of my interest in the prequel era#Would I even be a prequel stan? Or would I be one of those ''OT only'' people with no regard for Padme or Anakin#Like maybe I would've just watched the movies and called it a night#It's like when I think about how I could've gotten into KH at age eight with CoM I don't regret the timing of when I got into it#But a part of me can't help but wonder ''What if?''#Sometimes I go off in the tags as much as I go off in the main post and you know what? It's fine

WayV Reaction: to you flirting with their younger sibling
Tumblr media
Pairing(s): WayV x Reader
Genre: crack, fluff
Warnings: none
Word Count: 2.9k
Author's Notes: Hello anon! I'm sorry it took me so long to get to your request! I really hope I interpreted your request accurately! And thank you! I'm so glad you like my content! (I also want to mention that I used younger brother for all of them because I thought the request said brother until I went back and looked. Then I didn't want to change everything I'd just written so I just went with it. I'm sorry).

Kun:
Shortly after Kun was announced to be joining NCT in 2018, he also found out that his mother was expecting a second child, which, naturally, came as quite a shock. He was already an adult. Had his mother decided on more children when he was younger, a teenager even, he wouldn't have even batted an eye! But his little brother or sister would be 22 years younger. That was just weird.
However, that didn't stop Kun from nervously sitting in the waiting room holding your hand the day his little brother was born, vowing to always protect the sweet little bundle of joy.
It was that promise that led to where you both were now, Kun holding his babbling three year old brother in his arms as the boy waved to his retreating mother.
"I'll pick him up tomorrow morning," she called over her shoulder as the door closed behind her.
"So what do you want to do now?" Kun asked, looking between you and the little boy squirming in his arms.
"I wanna dance with (y/n)!" the little boy declared, wiggling out of Kun's hold and reaching for you.
Laughing, you took hold of the boys hands and led him into the center of the room, sending Kun a wide grin as he played music on his phone.
"It would be an honor to dance with you kind sir," you responded in an overly posh voice, taking his smaller hands in yours and spinning around the living room.
He let out a giggle as you spun him around before picking him up in your arms and swaying to the new, now reasonably slow song.
"You're an even better dancer than your brother!" you cooed.
The boy beamed at you.
"Hey!" Kun argued, biting back a laugh as you turned to look at him.
"You can't go stealing my significant other away from me!" Kun said, playfully glaring at the young boy in his arms.
Said boy, seeming to take his confidence from to much time spent with Ten, leaned up and pressed a kiss to your cheek, smirking at his brother.
"Wait for me to get older!" he said before squirming out of your hold.
"I'll wait forever, my prince," you laughed, placing him on the floor, watching him run over to YangYang, who had just entered the room. The maknae leaning down to scoop the boy up, disappearing back into his own room.
Kun stood up from his place on the couch and placed a kiss to your cheek.
"He really likes you," he hummed, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you close.
You just smiled, resting your head on his shoulder as his hips suddenly began to sway to the music still playing, coaxing you to follow his lead as he danced you around the living room.
"I'm a much better dancer," he whispered.
You leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to his lips in response.
Ten
The whole world knew that Ten had a younger sister. She was never hidden away, taking her camera confidence from her older brother as she took the newfound attention that came with her celebrity brother in stride. What the world didn't know, however, was that Ten also had a younger brother, one year younger than his sister. A brother that was extremely shy, choosing to hide behind his older sister rather than face the limelight.
Both had been over to visit the dorm countless times, though Ten's sister could only visit when Yukhei wasn't in the dorm after the large man had gotten slightly drunk and stupidly confessed to finding his ge's sister incredibly hot. His brother, on the other hand, was always welcomed and often found himself visiting once every few months for a week when WayV had a little less packed schedules.
You and Ten had picked the younger boy up from the airport two days prior and he'd been laughing and goofing off with the other members (especially Sicheng, to Ten's surprise). Today, however, the younger boy had been surprising glued to your side, always offering to get you a drink or a snack or share a blanket with you, which only made the older boys grow smirks as they not so subtly teased the boy.
"I think he likes you," Ten muttered, eying the boy retreating to the kitchen to grab a water.
You nodded, leaning against your boyfriend and desperately trying to surpress your giggle, not wanting the boy to feel awkward or bullied.
"I don't like it."
You slapped Ten's chest softly.
"Let him be, it's puppy love!" you cooed.
"Puppy love or whatever. You're mine."
You rolled your eyes at the older boys antics and gave his brother a soft smile upon his return, taking the water he offered you.
"Thank you, sweetheart. You're so nice!" you grinned, reaching up to lightly ruffle the boys hair.
Pink dusted his cheeks and he looked down, but he couldn't had his growing smile.
Ten gently elbowed you in the side and pulled you closer to hiss in your ear.
"Flirt with him again and I'll make sure he hears you screaming my name later," he hissed in your ear.
"Come on Ten! He's your brother for goodness sake! It's not like he's going to ask me out. It's harmless!" you argued back.
Ten let out a grumble and turned back to the television, tugging you closer slightly.
"You're going to be the death of me," he grumbled.
WinWin
The day Sicheng found out that he had a half brother on his father's side, he didn't know how to feel. On one hand, he ecstatic. He'd always wanted a younger brother. On the other, what was he supposed to do with this information. His estranged father had never had any intention on telling him that he had a brother, so why now.
It seemed the answer was easy enough to figure out as the eight year old boy was suddenly dropped off at the dorm after Sicheng had been blindsided to watch the male while his father and his step-mother went on a seven day cruise.
While Kun had promised that it was fine, Sicheng knew the leader would rather do other things than help Sicheng take care of an eight year old on their only week off, so Sicheng had called you to come help, promising that he'd take you out for a fancy dinner if you helped him babysit for the week.
You didn't need promises to spend time with your boyfriend, even if it was babysitting.
When you entered the dorm, the first thing you noticed was Sicheng's younger brother playing game with Kunhang on the living room television, and from the looks of it, the eight year old was killing it.
"I win again!" the little boy declared as Kunhang gaped at the television.
"I- how-" he muttered.
"You must be really good to beat Kunhang!" you piped up, sending the younger male a teasing smile.
To the new voice, the eight year old looked up and the controller dropped from his hands.
"Your hot," he declared matter-of-factly.
Your eyes widened. You certainly hadn't been expected that, but a small laugh bubbled from your lips.
"Your not so bad yourself," you retorted with a wink.
"Are you flirting with my brother?!" Sicheng asked, voice sounding scandalized as he approached the two of you, holding a small cup filled with fruit punch for the young boy.
"How can I not when his looks rival his brothers." you responded, sending a wink to the young boy before pressing a kiss to Sicheng's cheek.
The boy had red rising to his cheeks and he took a sip on punch to distract himself as he awkwardly toed at the floor. Kunhang let out a boisterous laugh from his place on the couch.
"This is so weird and so comically!"
"Bet I can beat you again even with this hot person sitting beside me! They'll give me good luck!" the boy decreed, hoping up onto the couch beside the other member.
"Don't call my signifiant other hot!" Sicheng whined.
You gave Sicheng another peck to the cheek and leaned against him.
"Let him have his fun," you muttered, reaching down to grab Sicheng's hand in yours.
Lucas
Yukhei and his younger brother had always been somewhat close. They spoke on a regular basis and his brother had certainly spent time at the dorms, but he was also a busy person.
Unlike Yukhei, who had given up taking over his fathers company to be an idol, his brother was being groomed by their father to be the next CEO of said company, which meant that the boy didn't come around a whole hell of a lot. Which also played into the reason why he'd never meant his brothers significant other. That is, until you opened the door to the dorm while Yukhei was being scolded by Kun for letting Bella pee in the house again.
"Can I help you?" you asked, eying the tall man.
Right away, you knew this person had to be related to Yukhei in some way. They two were practically identical. This man might just be a little shorter and not quite as stocky.
"I believe it is I who can help YOU, beautiful," he said.
Immediately, your cheeks heated up from the awkwardness. Clearly this man had no clue that you were sleeping with his brother. Or maybe he did and he just didn't care.
"I uh... come in... handsome..." you mumbled back awkwardly, having no clue how one should respond to such a greeting.
"So are you their maid or something? Because if you come work for me, I guarantee I can treat you better."
This guy was shameless!
"Uh... the others are this way... But I'm not a maid so..."
He followed behind you into the dorm and you could practically feel his eyes on your ass. You didn't think you liked Yukhei's brother very much.
"Come on babe, I know you're a shy little mouse, but give me something to work with here! Aren't you at all interested!"
"Well... you are handsome. As handsome as your brother but-"
"My brothers got a girlfriend! If you like him, surely you'll like me! Come on, one date!"
"I-I"
"Yeah her boyfriend doesn't really want her going on a date with her boyfriends little brother," Yukhei said, swooping in and draping an arm around your shoulders.
You felt yourself relax into his side, especially as the male in front of you realized the error of his ways.
"Oh my God! I am so sorry! I don't know why I just assumed you were single! Can we start over!" the male requested, getting on his knees to beg for forgiveness.
Ok, maybe this guy wasn't so bad.
"Get up you idiot. You're acting like you've never met a girl before!"
At that, a loud laugh erupted from your lips, making them both look at you.
"It's really ok! You didn't know! Just don't do it again," you laughed.
Xiaojun
The thought of Dejun having a younger sibling was something that had never crossed his mind, especially when he'd turned 16. He just never considered his parents would want to have more children until his mother informed him that she was, in fact, pregnant once again. Six years later, he didn't get to spend much time with his baby brother, but when he did, he tended to make the most of it. So when his mother offered to let Dejun babysit for the afternoon while she did some shopping, he couldn't have been happier. Especially because you'd finally get to meet the little boy.
When he was dropped off, you were blown away by the cute little boy that you immediately pulled him from Dejun's arms, cuddling him to your side.
"You are the most precious thing I've ever seen!" you cooed.
The boy cuddled against your side and placed a kiss on your cheek, one that had you beaming.
"You're so handsome! When you get older, you're going to have all the heads turning, just like your big brother!"
The boy giggled at that and wrapped his arms around your neck, hugging you tightly.
"Can I date you too when I get older?" he asked.
Dejun scoffed in the back of his throat, but you could see the fond smile on his face.
"Why of course you can! Unless you already have a partner!" you beamed, ruffling the boys hair.
At that, Dejun crossed his arms over his chest and stared at you with a pout.
"I don't wanna share," he whined.
You rolled your eyes at him, letting out a small little laugh as you pressed a kiss to his little brother's forehead and patted his back, sending him off to Kun, who promised to make the younger boy ramen for lunch.
"Are you seriously jealous of your little brother?"
"You shouldn't flirt with other guys," he whined.
You cooed at the male and leaned in close to press a soft kiss against his lips.
"You're the only one for me baby," you promised, laughing as you overheard the younger boy requesting that Kun make you a bowl as well.
"He's getting too attached," Dejun mumbled.
You kissed his lips again and took hold of his hand.
"I'm yours babe, and nothing is going to change that," you promised.
Hendery
Kunhang thought his parents must really like having children. And, to be fair, his childhood had been a pretty happy one. However, he was the youngest of four and the only boy. He was the baby and it showed. He was constantly being doted on by his parents and even his sisters who, at one point, would dress him up in make-up and make him pretend to be their fourth sister.
However, all of that changed when Hendery was 10 and news of his mothers pregnancy reached his unwitting ears. He had been angry. Angry because his youngest sister had told him "horror stories" of what it was like for her when he was born. He wasn't exactly ready. However, when his brother was born, he had a friend. Even if said friend was 10 years younger.
Now, a twelve year old boy sat perched on the couch between Kunhang and Ten, eyes glued to the television as they watched Harry Potter for the thousandth time.
"Does anyone want anything to eat? I'm going to make a sandwich," you called.
When no one responded, you set to the kitchen to put your own sandwich together when a figure suddenly appeared behind you.
"I bet your sandwiches are delicious! Could you make me one?" he asked.
You glanced back to give him a wide grin.
"Sure thing honey bunches! What would you like on it?"
He listed off everything he wanted on the sandwich and you set to work assembling it for him. You sliced the sandwich in half triangle style the way you usually ate your sandwiches and gave him a wide smile.
He sat down at the island and took a large bite, humming a little over-exaggeratedly at the flavor.
"It's so good!" he said.
You laughed and ruffled his hair before opening the fridge and handing him a 12 ounce bottle of coke.
"Only the best for you! Gotta keep those muscles growing if your gonna play spots when you get older!"
"Mom says I'm made for the soccer field! She wants me to try out to be a professional player! But I want to be an idol like Kunhang!"
What he said surprised you. Kunhang hadn't told you his little brother had interest in joining the entertainment industry.
"I'm sure you'd be great at it!" you encouraged.
"Do you think I'd fit in with NCT?" he asked.
"Are you kidding? You'd put them all to shame with your looks and talent! No one could beat you!"
"What are we talking about?" Kunhang asked, moving up behind you and wrapping an around around your waist.
You picked up half of your sandwich off your plate and offered it to him, to which he took a bite straight from your hand.
"He's interested in joining the entertainment industry!" you beamed.
Kunhang looked over at him, eyebrow raised.
"Ok, but stay away from my partner with those good looks and talent that could put us all to shame," he mocked, kissing your temple before plopping down beside you.
YangYang
YangYang was born five minutes earlier than his identical twin brother, which he had kept a secret from the prying eyes of the fans. His brother, while sharing his same facial features and eyes, was very different from YangYang.
His twin was more introverted and, unlike YangYang, had 0 interest becoming an idol. Rather, he wanted to become a veterinarian to go along with his love of animals. So, when YangYang went away to train, his brother was taking medical classes and it just never made sense for either of them to mention each other, specifically because YangYang's twin didn't care much for access media attention.
The members, however, were very aware of YangYang's twin, although they'd found out the hard way when his brother had come to visit and Sicheng had accidentally yelled at him to get his "damn shoes out of the hallway."
It had been hysterical when it was all said and done and his twin had quickly bonded with the older boys, letting them pull him out of his shell to find the energetic boy that liked to compete with YangYang on everything.
While you knew that YangYang had a twin brother, and that they were identical, the thoughts didn't cross your mind as you showed up at the dorm to spend time with YangYang. When Dejun opened the door, he informed you that YangYang was finishing up a shower and would be out soon, directing you to his bedroom.
When you walked in, however, you found "YangYang" sitting on his bed playing a game on his phone. Assuming he'd gotten out of the shower before Dejun had realized, you thought nothing of it and sauntered over to the boy, taking his phone out of his hands and plopping down on his lap.
"I missed you," you said, leaning back against him, letting your head rest against his collar bone.
"I um..." the boy stammered.
You'd never known YangYang to get flustered, but chopped it up to the members being in the dorm.
"What's wrong baby? Cat got your tongue?" you cooed, sending him a mischievous wink as you purposefully wiggled your bum on his lap.
"I-I"
"What the hell is going on?!" a very familiar voice tore through your reverie and your eyes shot up to the door where... YangYang stood, towel wrapped around his waist, another drying his hair.
"YangYang?!" you gaped, jumping off the lap you were sitting on. "But who?!" you turned back to the man on the bed and then it dawned on you.
YangYang had mentioned earlier in the week that you should come by to meet his twin brother. Somehow, that had slipped your mind and now...
"Oh my God!! I am so sorry!" you screeched, voice going up an octave as your cheek flushed a bright red.
The boys shared a look before both burst out laughing, doubling over with hilarity as your cheeks burned.
"This has got to be the best mix up I've ever seen!" the real YangYang cackled, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you against him.

Have you seen s7 of TCW When Anakin and Ahsoka last saw each other, Anakin asked her, how are you Where are you Are you all right ?It was all EP3 when Vader asked about Padme. Oh, my God! I’m so sad! What’s that supposed to mean? And the background music for the two of them alone is Across the stars! I feel so weird. So, is the director want to show that Anakin loves Ahsoka like something romance? or Is she as important as Padme to Anakin? it's so weird.
sorry, when I saw it, I was so shocked.
It wasn't the same like that. It's not the same context. Friends can be concerned for friends and ask how they've been and where they've been. I do it all the time with my friends. So he was just asking her how she is. Trying to catch up with a distant friend.
Episode 3, Anakin asks about Padme and he's pretty desperate about her well-being and you can sense that in his voice and in the context of the scene because he just came out of having his limbs replaced and his skin grafted and his ribcage taken out and he's encased in the most uncomfortable suit in the world and rather than asking about what just happened to himself, he asks about Padme. Like he just lost half of his body and he can't breathe and his main concern is Padme.
Ahsoka isn't just as important to Padme to Anakin. She never was. I made a post earlier where I talk about it more:
https://helbertinelli.tumblr.com/post/666175610561937408/some-people-said-that-if-ashoka-hadnt-left
TCW fans and writers do like to pretend that Ahsoka is way more important to the story of SW than Padme, which is completely false because we've all watched the PT and OT and if it wasn't for Padme, things would have been so bad (in PT, Palpatine would have won in the first movie without Padme and in OT, there would be no Luke and Leia to destroy the Empire) and the story then didn't even include Ahsoka.
As for the background music being Across the Stars (I don't remember the background music to be honest, I never pay much attention to it), they probably just needed a slower more emotional song and just went with the first one they had. It doesn't mean anything. Across the Stars isn't a love song, it's Anidala's theme. So it's disrespectful that they used that. It's like using HanLeia's theme for Luke. But I don't think Anakin and Ahsoka was ever meant to be romantic. It would have been creepy if it was.

as usual sw au has me by the throat when i am stupid busy BUT i did figure out a plot point this time so this all is an expansion on that.
(by far the longest one b careful on mobile. also this is more blatant ship so im tagging this time)
there is no good or bad with the force. it exists as one energy, one life force, and people are equally sensitive to it as a whole. the "light side" is simply a fabricated construct, as is the dark, and unfortunately, he had the ideals and mentality of those on the dark side instilled in him. he and ace, he says, easily could have had their places switched. (countering what hed said before) people arent born closer to one ideology over the other. everything fluctuates in turn, and he realizes this, wanting to be something, someone, that existed outside the bounds of both the light side and the dark side. someone that was only bound by the ways of the force, and not any sort of human intervention/interpretation.
near the end, ace begins to feel the pull on this logic too. hes not completely oblivious to the faults of the light side. hes not immune to the pull the dark offers. he is, however, entranced by the balance there must be between the two. or the unknown that exists outside of them, that sabo speaks so highly about. (he wants to exist there. with sabo. in a place he can be human and live as he like. with sabo thriving by his side. he wants a state of being where him and sabo can exist equally, even after all that has happened. and he wants to be assured that sabo will not fall to temptation as he has been taught to give in to for so long, now. he wants, so badly, for sabo to be free to exist how he pleases. how he wants to.) ace wants to feel and think and love, unbound by restrictions. he wants the chance to love sabo, entirely, with no regrets.
((and sabo wants, in turn. he wants everything to do with ace. he wants a world of greys instead of the stark black and white they exist in. he wants what they had in the bar, under the guise of a glamour charm. of ace so emotional, unrepentant, and looking at sabo like he was human, like he was something that could exist outside the pull of death and destruction. because no one had ever looked at him like that before, had ever been that way with him before, had never kissed him like that before. he chokes up just remembering how special it had felt to be held in ace's arms, to be seen like that, and he wants wants wants. wants an entire life just like that. he would steal ace away from the world (and ace would go willingly, he knows) just for the chance to exist in that state. if he could only be free of his own inner turmoil and raging emotions, even if he had to cut himself off from the force entirely, then he could begin to be the kind of person ace deserved to spend the rest of his life with. because sabo is selfish, the absolute worst, but for ace he would absolutely repent. as long as he got a chance to be at ace's side he would sacrifice whatever was necessary.))
somewhere in the middle, ace and sabo meet face-to-face for the first time. it is an unforgettable experience. for sabo, disguised to remain under anonymity, its a surprise undercut by the intense rush of affection brewing in his gut, to learn that he was with ace, the same force-sensitive he'd gone head-to-head with out in the depths of space. he feels emotions he's never felt before, with such an intensity it leaves him reeling, mentally devolving and emotionally crumbling and physically unable to stand it. ace has a power, he decides, and its making him lose it, and he can't explain why but he doesn't want to let go. ace is destroying him and yet sabo wants more, wants to feel like this but deeper, more complex. he will never confess so but in place of that, so overwhelmed he can't stand it, he starts crying. ace doesn't panic but he begins to, before sabo reassures him it wasn't bad, but that he didn't know -it was a reaction he'd never had before. its enough for ace to understand, having undergone a similar though far less intense experience while in the care of shanks. his hands move from sabos shoulders to his cheeks and draw him close, unable to contain himself and tastes sabos lips over and over, and wipes the wet salt from his cheeks, and watches him smile and holds that image tight, suddenly very afraid that he will never see it again. he doesn't know what it is about this guy -whats making him overshare, and relate in turn, and feel so strongly in such a short span of time. he's not sure what it is but he really connects with this guy, and he absolutely refuses to let go.
the next time ace and sabo meet is in battle, physically. sabo is out of his mind and unhinged and yet just conscious enough to recognize ace as the same person from that night at the tavern. but they arent alone out here, and sabo is first and foremost to his mission (and aside from that, his free will isnt strong enough to exist apart from the pull of the darkness in the force. even if he wanted to he cant do anything with this newfound information but continue his assault. he cant even feel anything about it -its pure recognition, and thats it) so he doesnt act on it. nothing at all comes positively out of the encounter, to his knowledge.
but for ace, when the adrenaline wears off and his deeper wounds are wrapped, his worldview is blown wide open. he's contrasting all everyone is presenting to him about sabo with the voice he connects to the man he met at the tavern, and nothing is making sense anymore. at the end of it all he decides (and keeps to himself) to form his own opinions, because it didnt feel right to take either version of sabo at full 100 percent. their next stress-inducing encounter neither of them question it, neither bring it up, but they both read off each other the recognition, the underlying curiosity, the need for more, maybe, eventually, surely so.
(ace made sabo feel so special. like he was the only one in the entire galaxy that mattered. like the two of them lived on their own plane of existence. hes met with intense inner turmoil when he realizes this, and refuses to confront it for so long. ace felt so right and that was more than scary, worse than bad. he couldnt afford to feel like this. he could never afford to act on it, he convinces himself. if he began to break like he suspected he would in ace's immense presence, everything, all his work up to that point would fall apart. he would become useless, to everyone around him, and unwanted by the rest of the world. if he lost even a shred of feeling he would default his power, he would expose himself, and that was worse than anything that would befall the group of rebels he was so brazenly assisting below everyone's noses. he cant, he cant, he cant, he convinces himself, until it all turns on its head. until ace catches him in a moment of doubt, taking the place of an ally that was supposed to be there, and sabo falls unguarded for just long enough for ace to confront him, to make him feel like he belonged again, so intense and excruciating, unable to exist apart from ace's side. sabo splinters and forces ace away before he can crack, using his immense hold to keep ace at a distance. 'what are you doing to me?' he asks, he confesses, really, with the words -what all he was feeling, the turmoil he was undergoing. he couldnt do this. if he fell any deeper he would ache, and he would weaken, and he would get caught. no one had ever understood him like ace and the notion of being so known terrified him. if he devolved any further there would be no going back.
but when sabo leaves he is undeniably, irrevocably, wholeheartedly in love with ace.)
what are you doing, sabo asks, and ace answers: "i don't know. but i'd like to find out." he continues, talking slowly, convincing sabo to release his hold. let me go, he says. i won't get closer if you don't want me to, he says, all until sabo finally drops his grip on the force. ace raises his hands and keeps the soft tone, moving slowly, so slowly, across the way until he's reached sabo again. sabo is wary, but he lets ace put both hands on his shoulders, and then lets him go further, pulling sabo into him, arms wrapping around his back. sabo gets one second to choke on an exhale before both hands rise to clench into the fabric on ace's back, and he drops his head so his face is pressed to ace's shoulder, and he sucks in breath after breath, trying to remember how, and trying to memorize ace's scent. after a minute (and maybe ace says something, still talking in low whispers) sabo raises his head (or maybe s realizes smth and acts on it unprompted) and unhooks his hands from ace's back to raise his face the rest of the way up, forcing their mouths together. ace hums into the kiss, moving his hold lower to pull sabo even closer, and pushing back into his mouth.
in a confrontation before (or after? where sabo is alert to ace's presence but is so lost he is unable to reason with himself past a warning, and this is ace's first experience with sabo out of control since their mutual confession) this ^ ace is on a semi-isolated, mist-covered planet for a mission. he runs into sabo, who gives him a chance with a stern, biting warning: leave. ace doesn't back down and sabo immediately activates his lightsaber, tense in his grip, poised and ready at his side. ace cuts himself off, nervous and anxious, but he's here for a reason and he's not giving up, so he brings up his own blue saber in full view. they stand like that, facing off, for a minute before sabo relaxes slightly in his stance to stand straighter, taking one glove from the saber's handle to raise in the air. ace doesn't notice until its too late, how the mist gathers into fog, and when sabo clicks off his saber, he's hidden completely from view. ace can barely sense him, now, and it seems to come from all around him all at once. it's only by chance that he turns the right direction and catches the red glow just as it activates, bringing up his saber to block when sabo appears and swings down with all his might, and then even more, straining against ace, taking one hand again from the handle to press into the air above the tip of the blade, like he would grab that end for more leverage had it been a regular sword. instead of that, he uses that hand to press down with the force, straining ace even more, and even with only one hand on the red saber it hardly matters, sabo's grip on the force so much stronger than ace's. ace is propelled back, knees bent, grunting from the effort to keep from collapsing that suddenly no longer matters as sabo gathers all his strength and shoves ace down with the pressure of the force, yelling for him to fall already as he does. ace hits the ground and as soon as their blades separate he adjusts his grip to jab upwards. he hits something of sabo's, because he yells out of pain or frustration or both, and then he rolls away before he can be stabbed in turn, sabo lashing out and scarring the ground instead. ace moves back in the fog and gets to his feet and deactivates his saber and scrams, unwilling to face sabo as (sabo) was now. but he stops, suddenly, overcome with his emotions from earlier, his loyalty to the cause and what he was there to do. and he can't just give up, he thinks, turning around. this was too important. but then, as soon as he's made up his mind, the air clears entirely. there is no more fog, no more mist, for a good radius around sabo, who spots ace immediately now that the surroundings were bared. this sabo is dangerous, ace admits, bracing for impact when sabo bares his teeth in a snarl. dangerous and unwilling to let ace escape, now that he's posed a threat. now that ace has denied his warning.

Going in blind: Watching season 3 for the first time. Random thoughts.
Tumblr media
Episode 1: I know in the original series She-Ra was the sister of He-Man so I'm curious how much of that will be carried over to this series. Not saying He-Man has to make an appearance, same as how Batman didn't need to show up in Teen Titans. That was Robin's story, not his, and similarly this is Adora's story, not Adam's. Regardless, it makes sense why Hordak was so annoyed with the baby Adora in Shadow Weaver's flashbacks. To SW, there was something different and special about the baby, but to Hordak, whom seems familiar with the world before Mara separated Etheria from the rest of the universe, including Eternia potentially, Adora is just another "First One" child like he's seen many times before. Special in comparison to those who only know Etheria.
Great clap-back from Catra to Hordak, and not entirely unfounded. It's debatable how much he actually cares about conquering Etheria. He has others leading his forces in his war yet all his focus is on his portal creation.
According to Entrapta, productivity of the Horde is up 400% ever since Catra became Hordak's 2nd in command. I wondering how much of that is Catra's direct doing? Is she genuinely just that good of a commander? Is it because she's properly delegating and Scorpia has been handling most of the load? Or is this just because it's in comparison to Shadow Weaver? Entrapta said Catra's focus on First Ones' tech has been greatly aiding them and SW definitely focused more on magic, which was an aid mostly to herself since everyone else in the Horde seems to fight only with weapons and technology. And most of what she saw of SW while she was Hordak's 2nd was her being obsessed with bringing back Adora rather than fighting the war.
Episode 2: Let's see... Hordak's easily an adult and Entrapta is...[checks google] late twenties, early thirties. Oh good, then let's sail this ship!
But yeah, that was a heck of a backstory for Hordak. This reminds me of a video by a Youtuber named Savage Books comparing the villain Steppenwolf in the theatrical and Snyder Cut versions of Justice League and how, while he still wasn't a great villain, just a small addition made him a much better villain, that being a failure in his past and the desire just to go home. And in this case, Hordak is the much better, or at least way more developed, version of that. One of many clones of Hordak Prime but having a defect that labelled him a failure and had him cast out to Etheria, a "backwards world" as he's called it before. If he can conquer Etheria, perhaps by building a portal that'll bring forward Prime's army, he believes that'll prove to Prime that he is not a failure and that he can return home to rejoin his forces. Just this bit of backstory adds SO MUCH to Hordak, including new insights on his past interactions, and keeps him from being a flat character like theatrical version Steppenwolf. His lack of tolerance for failure makes sense when he himself is trying to prove that he's not. It gives him compelling motivation to want to conquer Etheria beyond just power and greed. Not motivation you're meant to agree with but one you can still understand.
I like the story with Huntara too. It's a nice little tie-in to something Adora was talking about with Glimmer and Bow last episode. Adora defected from the horde, not because she was different but rather very much in spite being very much like every other soldier there. She wanted to believe Shadow Weaver may have at least some goodness in her too and now we have Huntara as a fellow defector who realized the evils of the Horde, even if she chose to stay out of the war entirely after.
Episode 3: I legit thought Catra stabbed the goat lady for a second.
After Scorpia asking her why don't they just stay in the wastes I'm seeing a bit of a parallel between Catra and Hordak. They've both found a place where they can be the top dog, where they can do and have basically anything they want; her with the wastes and him with the Horde. They can be happy. ...But there's still this pull they're feeling to somewhere else. Catra back to the Horde and Hordak back to Prime. Because they feel they have to prove something; prove that they're not failures. They could be happy but they can't let go.
And that scene between Adora and Catra at the end. That was such a great line read from Catra's actor. "She left me for you. Everything that's happened is because of you." I got chills.
Minor note: While I'm only judging off the Mara hologram, which didn't have color, I do think the She-Ra outfit looks better with pants than shorts like Adora's She-Ra form. I think it makes it look sleeker, if that makes any sense.
Episode 4: Catra's spiral has turned into a drill and its taking her down as far as she can go. Though something I had to a laugh a little at myself over was that my biggest "Catra, no!" reaction wasn't to her wanting to open the portal but rather when she lied to Hordak and said Entrapta let the princesses in. She was actually a positive influence on Hordak's life and Catra with one move just destroyed that relationship and all progress Hordak had been making.
I'm guessing there's going to be some kind of long-term effect from Shadow Weaver continuously siphoning off Glimmer's magic. The woman is basically a parasite and the magic she uses is very different from the kind Glimmer does. I can't believe it never occurred to me that since Shadow Weaver trained Glimmer's father there might be a connection there between the two of them later in the story. While we don't know about anything that might've happened after she left, SW clearly had enough affection for Micah still to not kill him. I could see her trying to take Glimmer on as a student later like she did him.
Episode 5: There is something kind of hilarious about it being Scorpia's jealousy of Catra and Adora's closeness that causes her to be the first one after Adora to pick up that something is off.
11 is my favorite of the Doctor Who Doctors so naturally I'm comparing all this to the crack in Amy Pond's bedroom wall. Whatever goes in gets forgotten about and basically never existed. Though does that mean Bright Moon isn't going to remember the Horde? Basically that entire place got sucked up in the collapsing reality. There shouldn't be at war anymore because their enemy literally no longer exists.
Adora and Catra had their own little Star Trek 3 moment there.
Adora: "If we don't help each other, we'll die here!"
Catra: "Perfect! Then that's the way it shall be!"
Catra's just so far down her spiral she doesn't even care about getting her own win, just so long as Adora doesn't get one, despite just minutes ago clearly loving having Adora back in her life and on her side, to the point was trying to resist remembering the old reality. Her "perfect" world was them together again but when given the chance (another of many. I love those cuts to their past woven in there) she slapped the hand away.
I'm sure I'm wrong but I'm starting to theorize Madam Razz is actually Mara and just at some point went kind of crazy and started thinking as and Mara were two different people.
Episode 6:
"You are everything I ever wanted in a son. This... This is everything I ever wanted in a life. ...But I've got responsibilities, Van. And...I have to...go now."
-Superman, Justice League Unlimited: For the Man Who Has Everything
That was my favorite episode of JLU, where Superman is trapped in this world that isn't real but still perfect in every way, and the only way out was to give up everything he'd ever wanted, including a son he remembers watching grow up, even if it never really happened. With a similar premise, this definitely helped elevate Angela up a bit for me, whom I was kind just meh with before. I didn't dislike her but I didn't really care much for her either. This episode gave her a lot to work with though, with the heavy sacrifice she made. Not just saying behind to pull out the sword but just simply forcing herself to accept her husband is gone and not coming back. I was right that they wouldn't remember the Horde, but I definitely didn't think of the full effects of them never existing. They never exist, Bow never becomes a rebel instead of a scholar like his dads wanted. They don't exist, Micah never dies in battle against them. Glimmer gets to grow up with her father in her life. Everyone, most especially Angela, has to reject everything they would love to be real in favor of what actually is.
I'm guessing we're going to have Shadow Weaver taking advantage of this situation, trying to act like a teacher and mother-figure to Glimmer now that she's basically a orphan.
I talked before about how Catra and Hordak seem to have a parallel between them, especially regarding failure. Catra seems like she has a very hard time accepting her own failures and mistakes and thus why she more or less uses Adora as a mental scapegoat for all of it. Nothing is ever really her fault, it's Adora's, or Shadow Weaver's, or Hordak's. It makes for a great moment when Adora finally punches back, both literally and figuratively. She's not going to accept responsibility for Catra's actions anymore. She gave Catra every chance to make the right choice and she didn't, so now she has to finally live with the consequences. Heck of a glare She-Ra gave Catra at the end. Very much a "If I ever see you again..." and it certainly scared Catra, at least for a moment.
Now, someone go save Entrapta from Beast Island!
Season 3 verdict: Easily the best season thus far. I know this was technically the second half of season 2 but even in comparison to the full season 1 there was just so much that happened in this, so much that got revealed, and so, so many moments of emotion or tension. Weirdly I feel kind of disappointed that Hordak Prime is probably going to come in now and be the new big villain. I really like our Hordak's motivation and Prime seems like he might just be the generic conqueror for power that Hordak seemed like he was going to be at first. Not saying those types can't work. I love All For One from My Hero Academia and Frieza from Dragon Ball. Those guys are pure evil and selfishness, but they also have a captivating presence/charisma to them.
Naturally, since I bring her up the most out of all the characters, I'm very curious to see what happens with Catra now. She's basically nuked every positive relationship she had with anyone. Entrapta's gone, she threatened Scorpia, Hordak's not going to trust anyone including her anymore now that he thinks Entrapta's betrayed him, and Adora firmly sees her as an enemy. She has no one (those under her direct command don't count) and it's entirely her own fault.

I don't think it implies that Ben is the defective weakling of the two. Just like in the real world, there are people who have access to certain learning privileges and there are others who have to make do and figure things out on their own. I think it makes them complementary to each other for ben to have a more traditional fighting style with formal training and for rey to have a scrappy fighting style with informal training. Ben would still be the more capable of the two since he has more experience and understanding of the force. I'm simply suggesting we skip over the introductory stuff and have her skill level start where Luke's was in the beginning of ESB instead of her learning about her powers and how to use them in a matter of hours like she did in TFA.
I don't think rey was a bad choice for a protagonist, they just fell flat on their face in the process. I think it's a great way to learn about Ben and why he is the way he is to have an outsider be the one peeling the layers on his story. The protagonist also doesn't necessarily need to be the most interesting character, they just need to have the values and the tools that are central to the main theme of the story. If the main theme is family, I can't think of another character in the ST who values family more than rey. Family is super important in Ben's story too, but it's been twisted and corrupted by snoke. If done correctly, she would've been the one to help Ben realize that he needs to let go of his anger and forgive his family for their mistakes instead of just leaving him to figure things out on his own like she did in TROS lol. Just because Rey is on the good side of the co-protagonist coin doesn't make her more important or better. Without him she has no purpose in the story and without rey, ben has no one to bring him back to the light. Yes he has his family, but they're the source of his anger and hurt. I think it serves the story better for someone who understands how he feels to help him rather than a parent/uncle begging for forgiveness. That's infantilizing to ben to have him go back to living with his mommy and daddy and relive the childhood he never had with them. (I know you didn't say this but I've seen other ppl say it and I just think it's ridiculous)
Rey was a great way to keep things fresh by adding a new character separate from the family while still keeping the story about the Skywalkers, you know? Well, if they'd made her marry into the family like a normal person instead of the cuckoo chick replacement ending but I digress lol.
There's also the theme of toxic masculinity that the prequels introduced that warranted a female protagonist. Anakin was taken away from his mother to live with a bunch of men who told him being emotional and having attachments was wrong. The jedi, and even the sith, were basically saying that femininity is wrong and that it's a weakness. I think it was so important to have a female protagonist who embodied everything that the jedi told anakin was wrong. To show that actually, you know what? Wanting a family isn't wrong. Attachments shouldn't be forbidden, they don't make you weak, and being in touch with your emotions (negative or otherwise) and confronting them shouldn't be seen as something dangerous. TROS did the complete opposite of this. Whether they did it intentionally or unintentionally, they doubled down on the toxic masculinity so much that even Rey wasn't allowed to show any signs of femininity and ben was immediately punished for abandoning his kylo ren persona.
In my opinion, the jedi should have ended with Rey and Ben. I don't think they should've ushered in a new generation of "grey jedi". That's why I said becoming a jedi shouldn't be the main focus or the most rewarding thing of Rey's journey. It's not that I think it should be acceptable that she just be handed all these powerups and trample all over the world building, not at all. I just feel that the ST should've been about realizing that there's nothing more important than family, therefore there shouldn't be such an emphasis on the physical training itself but rather where that path is taking her. I think it's a great message to send that even if it might seem scary, it's important that we all realize our worth to take that first step towards a better life. You never know where life will take you and the road will be tough, but in the end you'll find yourself in a better place. I think that's what Rey and Ben's story should've been about.
No more duality between the jedi and the sith or the resistance and the first order. There is only the force, the galaxy, and peace. But DLF would've never done that because they need to milk the cow that is Star Wars dry to the bone and the war will never end...thanks I hate it🙃
Oh dear, god this is a long one...
Okay i will try to go at it as condensced as possible but i guess i have to still use ‘keep reading’  tag. Will go paragraph by paragraph point ( if this keep reading thing doesn’t work, be warned, its LONG)
1) Here is the thing though...i don’t think you were either there when the whole discourse about “who suffereth the mostest” olympics which plagued and still unconsciously plagued buth rylo and anti and general SW fandom about Ben and Rey, or you forgot. There was genuinely discourse over who did suffer more between the two. Rey having to win because she is poor, was almost semi slave and having not even a home, no one to protect as small as five. To this day you see the influence in fanfics too where someone would predictably go into Ben and Rey angsting about their past and they would declare Rey winner by having Ben feel bad how his suffering is so insignificant compared to hers. So if you think that people won’t call or think of Ben as “defective” , especially as you used the P word here, so you are aware on some level that Ben has a “upper” hand here and he still ends up as he is while Rey just conveniently controls her powers while child Ben was send to uncle boarding school, you are just underestimating how nasty people could be.  Unfortunate implications are unfortunate. Also , at the cost of being repeatative, Force doesn’t work like that. Plus training to fight is entirely separate entity from Force training . I doubt a 5 -10 year old kid would figure out all forms of Jedisaber training out of boredom.
...... As it , it is , i think you are doing the EXACT same mistake as the company is doing when you underestimate the importance of which worldbuilding detail to flub and which to keep in mind. I agree there are ways to skip past training for Force thing a necessity for Rey for the plot  at all ( i would have preferred it) but  your idea wasn’t it.
2) Yeah...no. Protagonist is not about choices, its about who is the central figure whose character development is required to either resolve or denouement the central conflict of the given story. This is why Hamlet is protagonist of Hamlet not Claudius despite being very thematically relevant to the central theme. Or Banqo is not the protagonist despite being just as important to the conflict as Macbeth.
I agree Rey when done right is a great way to do things fresh ...however, that doesn’t mean that makes her a protagonist material .  The more you explain the more clear it seems because done badly or not, its actually done in the actual movie already . That would tantamount to calling Jack and Rose Tico co-protagonist in Rose and F/nn’s arc. That is not how this works ( as we all see in TROS. and ST in general. Its structurally bad not just in execution. This is why in so many ways despite everything, TLJ doesn’t land, its undermined by the shoddy studio mandates undermining the structure of the story)
3)
There's also the theme of toxic masculinity that the prequels introduced that warranted a female protagonist. Anakin was taken away from his mother to live with a bunch of men who told him being emotional and having attachments was wrong.
Oh dear god...here is the word.
Hate to break it to you but Jedi Order was also run by women and the whole idea of being not emotional and not having attachment is not toxic masculine, its just toxic, period. Look no further than Cults. Most of the Cults and their leaders have pretty much standard distribution of men and women as leading figures. Any “functional” cult will always have their leader discourage attachments from their family, even the spouses they brought in and the kids and stringently regulate when they even have sex( eventually progressing to asking them to even stop to “encourage stronger devotion” and what not) . I saw a great video breaking it down by an expert. He said that cults usually separate kids from their parents as soon as possible and as long as possible ( you see glimpses of it Midsommer too) . In cases of extreme that tactic doubles up as good hostage material.
youtube
So as it is, i think Lucas already was airtighting OT to do just the opposite of that with Luke. We can presume he wasn’t into as much of stupidity of Old Jedi but the fact he takes away the kids in remote places to train them is not a good look at all in the new EU. Its not exactly not going against anyone’s notice that Ben and Leia had trouble keeping communication regular and frequent at all because Luke is dragging him physically as far as possible in the name of education along with all this poor sods.
So the idea of Rey and Ben moving past the need of a Jedihood and understanding the dogma is bad is a good idea. I don’t think the idea should be because wanting family is particularly feminine or healthy feminine but because that is how healthy social mentality works. Rey could work here because she is an outsider like Luke and one could work with that( not doing the “she inherently is wise” shtick which sequels did because there is a difference between having a different dogma less approach and being wiser than everyone despite knowing nothing about what you are preaching against. AKA difference between Rey and Owen Lars)
So no there is no desperate need for a female protagonist. If one wants one cast and rework Kylo as female. Not bump up the nearest female side character and call it a day. That is the EXACT same mistake Kathleen and JJ did and here we are.
I agree with the fact the trilogy and at this point there is no need to continue the Jedihood concept stretched up any longer. My reasoning is a bit more technical from yours though.  I think Lucas was pretty clear OT was the end point thematically. It was done. In most of the religion there is always a beginning by God  and Chosen One , struggles to show humanity value of their ethics and the apocalyptic end ushered by another Chosen One or anti -Christ like figure. Killing Palpatine and finishing the prophecy was the apocalyptic ending of the purpose of Jedihood religion. So its done already in OT, would have been done twice over at this point . There is literally no need for Jedis anymore even Yoda and Obi wan were like “this is our last stand”. But i have seen fandom seems to forget pertinent details like these because idk. They do the same thing when Resistance is treated same as Rebellion when they do not have same authority or even respect as Rebellion.

Decided to rewatch the whole series after seeing the finale, here's my thoughts as they come along part 1
Razz tells Adora not to look for others to tell her what to do and asks her what she thinks. Adora decides she must fight the Horde. It's poetic that Adora gets so hung up on destiny and fulfilling her goal, when the final message she needed to learn was said in the third episode. Razz is the wisest of us all.
Angella repeats what she heard in the legends of She-Ra, notably that she is meant to "bring balance to Etheria". From Angella's perspective this seems like a good thing, but it's so much more sinister knowing that basically means "to turn the death star on".
Catra was pissed at Adora, but seemed willing to leave the Horde until Hordak elects her as Force Captain. This is the start of her conclusion that Adora was only holding her back, and so the decent of her madness. That little smirk kills me, because that face will shed a lot of tears from this point on.
Season 5 showed us what Adora's She-Ra looks like, without the First One's influence. It might be a bit blasphemous, but I think that reveal would have worked better if this early season She-Ra was the mini-skirt, cleavage design of the 80s. Have a bit of symbolism about societal beauty standards. Love the muscles though that part is perfect.
The first time Catra and Adora meet back up after their falling out is a little unremarkable, the wounds are still fresh and they're still angry at each other but I think both still don't understand how big this schism between them will be.
I just realized Entrapta's castle has a picture of a Tyrannosaurus rex with a unicorn horn and Pegasus wings. Is that what Mara's dragon was!? 😂
Tumblr media
God I love Entrapta, even when I first watched this I was excited to see the purple Hatsune Miku in the intro. She always cared about people since the beginning, she just doesn't understand politics.
Castaspella and Angella were shipping Glimbow from the start lol.
The show gives us a full view of how Shadow Weaver's abuse affected Adora. Being constantly pressured to be the best and strongest at the threat of Catra's health has left Adora a jittering wreck. Call me sadistic, but I love that it wasn't resolved in this episode. Adora wins the battle against SW today, but all the way up to the series finale we see SW's dirty fingers clawing away at her conscious. It takes more than 20 minutes to escape a life of manipulation.
Princess Prom! This is when the show goes from a 7 to a 10. Not only the prom being a fun venue, but this is where Catra begins to get some agency. This is the first time she really feels like a main character, which is great because I love her more than anything. Also the first time we see Double Trouble and the Star sisters, which I guess are different from the Star Siblings in season 5? A bit of a continuity error.
Aww, Glimmer is jealous. I can relate to her fears of being pushed out, but the fact that she's pretty madly in love with him adds a whole new layer. Bow is right but he's being a bit insensitive here.
Let's just take a moment to appreciate how far we've come. Remember when this was the gayest thing in the show?
Tumblr media
It's fun watching the princess alliance so early in their friendships, they obviously care enough to go with Adora on this mission to save Glimmer, but I love how annoyed and distracted they get with each other.
This episode is also really big for Catra, realizing she will never get Shadow Weaver's approval, that longing look at Adora, "this is not because I like you".
The Beacon is sandwiched between two great episodes that make it feel like filler, but a lot actually happens. We see more of Adora's insecurities, especially how she starts to take it out on herself when she runs into a problem out of her control. We got the formation of the super pal trio, a short lived group with an amazing dynamic. And we also have a huge moment with Angella that basically defines her entire character.
Entrapta's insecurities are revealed. She wants friends, she loves people, but they're complicated and hard and always seem to leave her. It's heartbreaking and something that comes to a head on Beast Island.
I love this scene with Catra and Shadow Weaver. It's clear she still loves her evil mom, and we see how SW has abandoned the idea of Adora for now and is now beginning to manipulate Catra. We also see another Catradora parallel, both of them tell straight to SW face that she has no power over them anymore, something we continue to see is not true.
Promise! 18 months later and it's still my favorite episode of the show. I like how it starts off with the anger they've been feeling up until now, but through the mind melting manipulation by skynet Light Hope, it's multiplied a thousand fold. Before this Catra was pissed at her friend, now Catra wants to murder the person she thinks destroyed her life. After this Catra isn't a cute tsundere, she's completely homicidal. She still loves Adora obviously, but Light Hope has corrupted that love into the most vitriol hate on the planet. It's wild to think they both love each other so much, and yet the abuse that have scarred them prevents that love from breaking free. This is the true moment where the show starts, this is where it became the best cartoon I have ever seen.
Also this is the only time since the first episode and Catra's redemption in season 5 where their chemistry is in full play. They just love each other so much, god I'm fucking tearing up again.
An important thing people forget about the Catradora dynamic is Catra's inferiority complex. She has been told since the day she was born that she is worthless, below Adora in every way. She loves and looks up to Adora, but her existing in Adora's shadow blackens that love. Which is why her joining the rebellion isn't a good ending for her. She needed time on her own, away from Adora, to carve out her own identity. It was her struggles as Force Captain that finally pushed her to start doing good, that realization that she is unhappy in that role. If she had left with Adora in episode 1, she would still be bitter and cruel and toxic, because she'd still be standing behind Adora.
Shadow Weaver's abuse goes both ways, as now Adora feels like she needs to protect Catra like a helpless kitten. That dynamic was not healthy, and it would not have lasted. Catradora can only exist now because they both accept each other as equals.
That final "you promise?", probably the most important words in the show. I've seen this episode a dozen times, but after seeing the finale the tears are running down my face again. Adora was the light of Catra's light, nothing mattered as long as Adora was there with her. She loved her so much. The Fright Zone, Shadow Weaver, her own insecurities, they all impacted Catra. But in that moment, them cuddling on their bunk, it didn't matter. Little did she know Adora loved her back just as much. Fuck I'm crying again.
Tumblr media
Catra took that memory, tainted by Light Hope, and saw Adora as a monster. Someone who manipulated her like everyone else and abandoned her at the first opportunity. Someone who broke her most important promise, someone who broke her heart. Catra is probably the best written character in fiction, no I am not exaggerating.
It's a hard follow up after that episode, but the amazing juxtaposition of Entrapta and Light Hope telling the same story with different information is bone chilling and goosebumps giving.
Knowing the whole story of Mara, Light Hope's speeches are terrifying. Her manipulation makes Shadow Weaver look soft. Luckily we have an Alicorn to help, like all other abuse in the show it isn't over in a single dialog exchange, but Swift Wind is speaking the truths Adora needs to hear. The thing about Adora though is one of her main character flaws, she gives in to the doubt her abusers seed her. Her friends constantly tell her she has worth and deserves love, but she has it in her head that she must sacrifice herself for the greater good. That's another reason why Catradora works in the end, Catra helps bring out the selfishness she needs.
Battle of Brightmoon isn't a great finale, my time in the MLP fandom has soured me on "then all the friends came together and shot the villain with a rainbow" conclusion. Luckily, the show would knock the next three out of the park.
Catra starting the new season strong, I love the juxtaposition of the horde soldiers fearing her while the super pal trio doesn't. I love that little smirk, she thinks it's the first she wants yet we all know it's the later.
Frosta got a character change, I understand what they're doing where the other princesses are bringing her out of her shell, but it all happened off-screen so she just seems out of character. The little moment with her and Glimmer is great, and a little bit of forshadowing for Glimmer's queenly role.
Every Shadow Weaver and Catra interaction is fantastic, I love how SW gets so easily under her skin and how Catra pretends to brush it off. Those black tenticles still have a hold on the Kitty's heart.
Ties that Bind is a fantastic episode, especially seeing Catra's interactions with Bow and Glimmer. I love how this contrasts with the season 5 episode A shot in the Dark, here Catra is bullying the best friend squad with malice while the later has Glimmer and Bow playfully making fun of her with love.
Glimmer's actions here are also great forshadowing for her role as queen, especially how desperate she is to destroy the horde and how it affects her morals. Makes her decision to use the heart in season 4 very believable.
I love how Adora keeps referencing ghost stories she heard as a kid. I love the idea of her and Catra under the covers telling scary stories to each other until they'd both end up cuddling while insisting they aren't scared.
Entrapdak! Entrapta's love of science, complete lack of fear, and unending kindness can turn even a dictator cute. They have fantastic chemistry.
I love this little moment with Catra, Shadow Weaver correctly assumes that she's being pushed out and left behind by Hordak, and sure enough she finds Entrapta standing next to him in the lab she was almost killed just for stepping in. Her fears are repeating.
Ah! Goosebumps! The show is slowly moving to be more and more Sci-Fi, and that little shot of Mara's crashed ship with the fantastic music is just a hint to what's to come.
Roll With It is an absolutely adorable low stakes slice of life episode that shows how fun these characters are even when they aren't fighting a war. It's probably the funniest episode in the series, the 80s She-Ra segment is my favorite. There's also the wonderful moment of Adora's breakdown, the pressures of being the world's savior takes a toll on her.
White Out! One of my favorite episodes. The mostly self contained story, the new setting and outfits, great Super Pal Trio bonding, Scorpia being a lesbian, Sea Hawk, and the only time we see the corrupted She-Ra. It's a fantastic microcosm of the show itself, and it's really funny. The Scorpatra stuff is a bit sad knowing how it ends, but it is nice seeing how Scorpia can have a crush while still realizing the toxicity of her relationship later on.
Shadow Weaver's backstory and the biggest window into her head. She believes what she is doing is right, but her methods are full on psychotic, and she was power hungry from the start. I love her so much, she's so deliciously evil. The Eldritch horror that is the spell of obtainment is a treat, and SW's arrival at the Fright Zone is beautifully terrifying. This episode also has the best scenes with her and Catra, it's devastating to watch Catra continue to pine for SW's approval and how, after all this time, SW still only sees her as a tool.
Shadow Weaver is one of my favorite characters, literally every scene with her a amazing. "I can tell by how your voice turns shrill when you scream" what a bitch I love her. I also really like how you can tell Catra and Adora still love her, even after all this abuse. She's a monster, but she's also a mom, and both of those identities conflict in their heads.
Shadow Weaver's and Light Hope's reveal of Adora's origin is goosebumps giving. The revelation that there is a universe beyond Despondos is amazing, but I especially love Light Hope continuing to withhold information and effectively lie to Adora. Razz, Swift Wind, Angella, Catra, they all tell her to make her own decisions but this moment with Light Hope where she is told she doesn't have a choice is what Adora latches on to.
There's also the deal with Hordak, when Light Hope tells the story, she paints it as Hordak ripping the poor baby away from her family. We later learn that's wrong, Hordak saves Adora, he finds a tiny baby and even as a heartless destroyer he knows he can't leave her out there to die. He steals her away, but he does so from Light Hope, the original kidnapper. If Adora was raised by Light Hope, she probably would have fired the heart without question. The Horde was not a good environment to grow up in, but it was an important part in making her the hero the universe needed.
I love Hordak's monologue, the art style and music are fantastic and the whole thing is terrifying. To imagine the big bad horde of the show is just a tiny sliver of what is out there. It also shows Hordak's motivations, which don't excuse his actions but do explain them. This show does a fantastic job at letting us sympathize with the evil-doers, and that has only grown now that Wrong Hordak has shown what it's like to be disconnected from the hive-mind. Bonus points for explaining Imp's origin and showing how Entrapta is exactly the person that he needs right now.
Catra is being embarrassingly edgy here, but it is funny that she's talking about "lost it all" and she seems to think this is rock bottom, oh girl you are in for a ride awakening with how much farther you can fall.
Promise plays again as Adora has another break down. We finally see Mara, and as with everything to do with the First Ones it is chilling. I love this slowly unraveling storyline of Light Hope's true intentions. At this point it is clear she is not to be fully trusted, but we have yet to see how truly sinister her intentions are.
Catra, again, being one of the best characters ever written. She finds a minimum amount of happiness in the wastes, and immediately it all comes crashing down when her trauma resurfaces. That scene of the anger taking over is a masterpiece. I have said a million times that she'd never be truly happy in the wastes, and the later seasons confirm it, but it is heartbreaking to see how even the slightest hint of a smile is ripped off her face.
The Glimmer Angella arguments hurt, they're both right but it's sad to see them fight and how Angella takes Glimmer's advice while Glimmer doubles down on her faults.
Shadow Weaver back on her bullshit, manipulating teenagers to give her power. Noelle mentioned how she truly believes she's on the good side, and obviously she doesn't want the Horde to win, but you can't deny she has some selfish motivations behind recruiting Glimmer. That lust for power remains with her until the very end.
We see Adora getting to Entrapta here, people I think really didn't get their impressions of her right. Entrapta loves tech and science, and sometimes it blinds her, but she isn't immoral, she does care about the safety of her friends.
"You made me this way, and you get to be the good guy" "you couldn't wait to get away from here, from me. But you came back for Adora". You can see how SW's betrayal not only reaffirmed Catra's fears, but was probably just as much a force behind her decent into madness as Adora was.
There's also something beautiful about the symbolism of Shadow Weaver using her new victim like a battery to crush her old.
And Catra betrays Entrapta and Scorpia, this is officially the worst she gets, at this point her hatred of Adora is taking over her. We see more of it in season 4, but her desire to hurt Adora as much as Adora has hurt her causes her to crack like an egg. Scorpia's face says it all.
Tumblr media
I love getting to see Catra and Adora in their element, completely in love with each other. None of the complexity of the world at large, just them two together. Even Shadow Weaver's approval of Catra, this is her dream world.
It's funny how Scorpia's first instinct upon seeing Catra is to hug her while her first reaction to Adora is to insult her. She has terrible judgement of character lol
Everyone's insistence that it's "perfect", watching the world shift and fall apart, the confusion, the panic, the show masterfully shows Adora's emotions in this mind-melding episode.
"Soon the two of us will be ruling Etheria together just like we always planned" "Is that what you really want, to rule the world?" "I mean, yeah, obviously. Isn't that what you want too?" God this little moment is perfect, it shows how much they're wavelengths differ. Catra focuses on the "together" while Adora focuses on the "rule the world". Like DT says later, Catra's heart was never truly in it. This thirst for power is just the world's most destructive coping mechanism.

Togheter again for the eternity (DTMG story-fanfic)
https://uzuluna.tumblr.com/post/62408515996 . This is my story-fanfic about this post , all credits and rights going to @uzuluna (WARNING TAKE NAPKINS AND BUCKETS FOR TEARS AND HEARTS)
P.S. Soleana belong to me also the extra part , because do part of an my story , I have would added the extra for give more soft brother-relationship and a little spoiler..
Billy was so sad he has been disconsolate since his best friend... his brother Spencer at the age of 50 died of old age... so the media wanted to get through it but... BJC knew how things really went .Spencer had aged yes, but he kept fit, eating healthy, training body and mind and above all doing good works .. many times BJC has seen his brother go into hospitals to encourage children and others with his fame to not to give up their dreams, to share them, not to lose sight of the fact that there are more important things than the dreams themselves, he saw how he protected the kids from bullies..in short..he had become a wonderful adult..but now all this .. zero..*flashback *.
One day Billy, at Spencer's request, went over there to check if the technicians were doing a good job with lights and everything else. He suddenly noticed, however, two figures he had never seen come into one of the dressing rooms, he thought: "ok come on, they will be the usual interns who came late" but the curiosity was too much for him and he walked away following the two figures .. .the dressing room they entered was that of ... Spencer!
BJC: "ok ok calm Cobra, they will be two fan interns and they took the opportunity to see the inside of a dressing room of one of the most famous horror filmmakers that Hollywood has ever been able to see" Billy saw them stealthily escaping and saw only a blond tuft and another light brown color, he went in and saw everything as if no one had been there except ... for a strange glass next to Spencer's water bottle, Billy sniffed him but felt nothing strange but strangely had a bad impression, took the glass in fact, and threw it away.
SW: "Billy! What are you doing here !? Didn't I ask you to check if the technicians were doing a good job?" Spencer had returned from lunch with his mother, after all the fame on him, he could always find time for the others dear to him, including playing video games with Billy as he was when he was 14 and a half ..
BJC: "yes ... oh yes! Excuse me Bro-meo but suddenly I saw two people come in here and then I followed them, anyway it's quiet, the technicians are doing a good job"
SW: "Thank goodness, wait ... did you say two people? Who were they? Interns?"
BJC: "I don't know ... I thought about it but they left in a hurry and left a glass I had never seen before and then threw it, you'll thank me after * posing as a star *"
SW: * facepalm * "Billy tool-box I left that glass for medicine! Do you remember? medicine for the cold? But were you listening this morning? "
BJC: "probably ... I remember you mentioned something but I was too busy with the jar of PB"
SW: "as always ... uff ... feel today was a long and tiring day, could you please tell Shanila that after they finish closing everything? Let's continue tomorrow"
BJC: "Ok ... hey bro '... everything okay? You know I'm always there if you want to talk"
SW: "yes, I know ... it's just that ... I don't know, I have the clear feeling that not everyone appreciates what I do ... and today I had the confirmation ..."
BJC: "wait wait wait for what you mean !? Who doesn't appreciate what you do !? Make scary horror movies! Modestly thanks also to the man! To the legend! The Cobra!" Spencer could not laugh a bit at that exclamation. .ehh yes..your brother hadn't changed at all and that was fine with him he reassured, he was happy when his best friend in absolute was close to him to comfort him ... Spencer would not have gone by ANYWHERE without him ..
SW: "guess who I met at Wi-Fri?"
BJC: "Rajeev?"
SW: "maybe, but try again"
BJC: "Mallory?"
SW: "I doubt you leave your husband for me, try again"
BJC: "You won't tell me ... yet !? But he wasn't retired !?"
SW: "pension over bud', as far as I heard from Buch, Ponzi works there after his collapse at school and inside the boarding house..just saw me he told me about all the colors and hurt me sincerely .."
BJC: "that head of cheese expired! What did he tell you !?"
SW: "trust me and better ..."
BJC: "WHAT ?!"
SW: "that the world without me and mine movies , it would be a better place, which is my fault since I entered there in that school, that he is now like that, and that everything I do and what I will do will be useless and never remembered, that I will be alone forever ... "hearing those words Billy was shocked ... how could a person be so cruel, Billy is the first to keep the image of a "bad boy" he was a bit rude but never cruel, put him first, and he knew he was alone a cover, so much so that he apologized every time ... he knew that in the world most of the managers were slimy, cruel and profiteers, he had a couple of them close to his misfortune, but never so cruel, for what he remembers ..
BJC: "don't listen to it ... YOU UNDERSTAND IT !? DON'T LISTEN TO IT! FORGET WHAT IT SAID TO YOU! YOU'RE A WONDERFUL PERSON, MAKE GOOD TO ALL, IF YOU ARE FAMOUS DON'T LET YOU FAME THAT YOU CONSUME IT .. NOT LIKE ... MYSELF ARE YOU AN EXCEPTIONAL PERSON LIL 'BRO, AND DON'T ALLOW ANYONE SOMEONE TO TELL YOU THE OPPOSITE !? "
SW: "whoa! Calm friend! I understand but don't scream!"
BJC: "tell me you understand!"
SW: "I understand! I understand! Geez ... you're worse than my mother when she scolded us because the cookies were gone * laughs * remember?"
BJC: "* laughs in turn * pffft how could I not remember? That time in addition to the stomach ache we got a good scolding"
SW: "which theoretically I only caught it because you didn't see it" * they laugh together *
SW: "Billy..thank you..I appreciate it very much that you are close to me..I also really appreciate the fact that Shanila and Rajeev are with their work, thank you .. please go tell her?"
BJC: "ok!" Billy went to tell a Shanila from the change of plans, while Spencer, intrigued by the story of the two people, looked at the security cameras and noticed that the two figures looked a lot like .. Lolo and Ponzi! Spencer chilled but did he force himself and check if they had moved something, noticed that they had put something in the glass and in the bottle? The same glass that Billy threw away! Most likely they had put in some powerful laxative and Billy had saved him! Cabbage! Upon his return Spencer would surely have embraced him very much and thanked him over and over again. He took the bottle and checked it, he noticed nothing suspicious ... until ... he heard footsteps. I thought it was Shanila but it wasn't. Two people entered the cabin with force, blocking Spencer by the arms and holding him still. Fortunately, the training sessions with Jessica and Billy were useful because he immediately got free and threw a bottle over him.hitting the man, he grabbed his video camera and turned it on so he had some proof, fortunately it was well hidden.
SW: "why do you do this? Go away or call security!"
Both: "you have ruined the image since you came to that school! You a loser, become famous! You deserve to suffer!" Spencer tried to escape but the woman stopped the door, the man took it from behind and the woman took the bottle. Billy, who in the meantime had warned Shanila, felt that something was wrong and immediately flew to Spencer. He heard a loud noise and a strangled rattle .. it was Spencer! He was lying on the floor coughing, he was pale ..
BJC: "SPENCER! SPENCER! WHAT YOU HAVE FRIEND! REPLY! BROTHER REPLY FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC!"
SW: * coughs * bo..bo..bottle..inside there was some cyanide..the video camera..there are the tests..Billy..I have cold..so...stay with me .. * coughs * "
BJC: "cyanide ...? What is it? Hey buddy stay awake! I'm here with you! SPENCER! * Shakes him * Spencer was becoming paler ..
SW: "it is a poison * coughs * very deadly..is almost immediate effect .." Spencer started crying knowing that now there was nothing more to do..he was dying ..
SW: * crying * "hey .. friend .. apparently I won't be able to finish this movie this time eh?"
BJC * starts to cry * "don't ... don't even say it as a joke..you..you.you have to finish it you are the only one who can..hold on now take off to call for help and you will heal..start well"
SW: "against cyanide if you do not act immediately there is no way to save me .. * puts his hand on the transparent cheek of Billy * we had..we had planned to stay together until the end and beyond it? * Cries * you would have done by uncle to my children if I married.. real brother? "
BJC: "Uncle Billy ... does not sound bad" * he is not theremakes her not cry loudly * "please .. don't go .. stay with me..it's my fault. .I had to stay here..who I stuck not to go..and only my fault .."
SW: "hey .. hey..shh shh it's not your fault, if I hadn't thrown the glass I'd be so long and I wouldn't have had time to tell you things .."
BJC: "don't talk ... save your breath, surely Shanila will have seen that we are not back and now she is coming to us"
SW: "there is nothing to do .. but I want to tell you the same .. thanks .."
BJC: "for what?"
SW: "to be my brother..my best friend, to be our relative and to be back after what happened to you..thanks for having me * he cries * .. for giving me a wonderful life full of joy, fun and adventures .. please go ahead .. "
BJC: "how do you go on ... what does it mean? Spencer! Hold on!"
SW: "you .. * the voice starts to get lighter * you ..i love ya brother..i'll come to take..yo-- "Spencer could not finish the two sentences that his body went out under the eyes of Billy.. his little brother..his best friend in absolute... gone...turn off. Billy cried so loudly that he caught Shanila's attention, that when he saw Spencer's body he screamed, cried, and asked what had happened. Billy, in pain, picked up the video camera to give it to Shanila who would give it to the police..but what would it do? * fine flashback *
Billy woke up from that painful memory, remembering how at the funeral there were all the people that Spencer had done them good ... after his funeral Billy was crying for 9 months on his grave .. day and night, his mother (Billy's mother) approached him at the end of the last day of the ninth month and told him ...
Soleana: "my son ... stop just torture yourself like this you are not at fault ... be at peace, so you can be with him ... "
BJC: "I don't deserve it .."
SC: "?"
BJC: "I didn't deserve to have a brother like that! I don't deserve joy or eternal happiness! He...he has always taken care of me ... giving me a chance to have a "normal" life. To be my best friend and now ... now they took it away from me and I didn't do anything to stop it! I don't deserve anything! I deserve to suffer ... I ... I want him to come back! That we come back like we used to spend time together school to defend us from Ponzi! May he stay alive in prison! .. I ... may stay that way forever ... and only my fault ... "
SC: "it is not true! You do not deserve all this! My beloved son you have to let go of this pain ... it is not easy and I know it..but let it help you..It will be much easier for all of us"
BJC: "I ... I don't deserve to be your son ... to have a family like that ... I destroyed it ... I destroyed everything ... as always"
SC: "it's not true! I couldn't have asked for a better son than you * hugs hard *! You..you .. you have no fault..but if you want to stay a little alone I understand you, just .. please remember that you I will visit every 2 days ok? "Billy nodded, took the camera and the pendant and went home.
From that moment on, Billy spent all his time keeping the house tidy, at least trying to comfort, even as a ghost, Spencer's parents and then one day they decided to leave for some time ... the paper said 3 months on vacation ... who could blame them? Leaving him alone for 3 months. His mother often came to visit him, to compliment his work ... but nothing moved him ... it was destroyed. His mother noticed that he was holding Ponzi's spare wig, the one they had both taken for a little revenge, but they would have returned it if it wasn't already he had another, and a bright feather ..
SC: "is that it?"
BJC: "I found it next to me when I was well ... I think it's some pigeon ..."
SC: "she's so bright and light. I doubt she's from some pigeon ... can I see her?" Billy nodded. The mother took the feather and inspected it better ... there was no doubt it was an angel's feather. He picked up the feather and felt pervaded by a warm force, that strength allowed him to see ... Spencer! He was trying to get close to him but his pain was so strong that it formed a barrier. Seen this, he put down the feather and said aloud ..
SC: "you did a great job, I advise you to go to REST and to DREAM a few things, maybe you could do things you couldn't do before!"
BJC: * strums the wrong rope * "ouch mum! I understand there is no need to scream! I go! ... night .."
SC: "night my love..I hope that in your dreams you will find a bit of serenity and awareness .."
BJC: "?"
SC: "nothing my love .. now rests" Ghosts generally do not normally dream like before but "dream" their memories of when they were alive .. and for sure Billy did not dream of good things for a while or at least yes but...they all turned into nightmares because of the pain. Soleana went into the kitchen and heard a sweet voice that said "thank you". Billy closed his eyes, clutching the feather so soft and the wig ... he began to dream. He dreamed of the moments he spent with Spencer, when he was small and when he was a teenager .. but those dreams were distorted with a thousand voices around him that always repeated to him: "it's your fault! You left him alone! You don't deserve anything! You deserve to suffer forever like a ghost and not to be with him in the light! You don't deserve it! You won't stay with him ... NEVER! YOU WILL BE BLOCKED FOREVER ! "Billy moved frantically, suffering in his own memories, blaming himself for something he had no blame for ... blocking him there ... until the feather in his hands lit up, opening a gash in Billy's nightmares and bringing him with himself in a brighter spot. "Billy looked around and noticed that his" colors "came back to him when he was alive. He felt strangely good but still aching ... and then he saw a figure on the horizon. very familiar and could not believe it .. that figure noticed it very quickly, smiled at him, held out his arms forward to say "run to hug me tool-box!", and it was wrapped in that same light .. it was .. Spencer! His little brother ... his best friend returned to being 14 again, he was there with open arms just for him. Billy was about to take off from him ... but he remembered that he didn't deserve it, and everything started to do new darkness but this time, Spencer ran to him holding him close, and the shadows disappeared. Billy burst into a loud cry ...
BJC: "little brother .. are you ... really you? I'm not dreaming?"
SW: "shhh yes big brother I am, in your dreams but I am really I * hugs him more and more strongly *"
BJC: "leave me please! I don't deserve anything .. it's just my fault .. it's my fault!"
SW: "tool box is not your fault for anything ... don't you remember? I told you no?"
BJC: "It's not true! It's just my fault. I have to stay close to you! I deserve to suffer!" Spencer heard them saying, he squeezed Billy more and stroked his back and told him it wasn't like that. Billy calmed down a little but still wept bitterly until he asked him in tears ..
BJC: "Why are you here? Why aren't you in Heaven? What is this place?"
SW: "I'm here for you, to come I asked the angels if it was possible for me to come and get you, they said yes, it would have taken a while, and I had to pass the barrier you created, but I could ... if I could. This is a sort of room where the light of your dearest dreams is not reached by the shadows, so they explained it to me "
BJC: "What do you mean to me? Are you an angel now.. little brother?"
SW: * hugs him even more * I told you, or at least I tried, that I would come and pick you up and wait for you and say that I'm not yet "
BJC: "I ... I ... I don't deserve it! I'm a bad person! I've hurt everyone! I deserve to suffer not being with you and being happy forever!" Spencer denied all the statements he had said and he explained that up there they knew what Billy really was like, they had seen his pain, which is why they immediately allowed him to go and get him and explained to him also why he had become a ghost ... not for eternal punishment, no ghost, unless he wants it, he remains on earth forever, sooner or later when they have learned their lesson and carried out the mission, they go beyond ... Billy had learned the first two lessons: to say to love another person besides himself; being able to learn to live normally and recognize their mistakes by trying to remedy them; being close to the people you love and ... letting go of the pain inflicted not on his own account but on other people. Billy hadn't even learned this last thing until Spencer said ...
SW: "I would never have gone without you..from anywhere paradisiacal and beautiful it could be..I missed you more than my life big brother..I now take you with me..in Heaven .. you won't be alone anymore .. we'll always be together and .. "
BJC: "will we still play like we used to?"
SW: "yes"
BJC: "and will we be inseparable as it used to be?"
SW: * laughs * "yes silly *
BJC: "and...and .."
SW: "yes, you can hug me as many times as you want, as long as you don't hold me too tight, * laughs *"
BJC: "aside * laughs with tears in the eyes *, will I be able to play my music? Will we also play like when we were little? Will I really be with you * crying *?" This time Spencer was crying
SW: "yes ... yes ... one hundred times yes and we will wait up there for the other people dear to us"
Having said these words, Billy got up and all the pain he had ... let him go, aware that they were right ... it wasn't his fault. Waking up, Billy stared at his mother, who came up to greet him, stroked him and said to him ...
SC: "you're ready .. let's go ... we'll see again" she kissed him on the warm forehead because now Billy was ready to go beyond ... but not alone ... he would never have gone alone in both cases in reverse... but with his brother. Spencer could finally appear, in addition to going into dreams, ahead of Billy and they both ran to hug hard. Billy and Spencer hugged their aunt / mother hard with the oath to see each other again when the time comes ... Billy and Spencer were enveloped in a warm light and lifted slightly into the air, slowly disappearing ... the two remained embraced by that light, laughing softly ...
SW: "Hey Billy you put me down * laughs *"
BJC: "no you forget it! * Laughs *" Billy had taken it and thrown it slightly like when they were little and started tickling his tummy and Spencer laughed .. he laughed so heartily that Billy laughed too and had no intention to stop ... they were happy..finally after so much pain suffered by the bullies, by crazy fans, by slimy principals..now they were finally together for eternity. They had kept the oath of a long time ago ... stay together forever in life and beyond. Spencer asked him if he wanted to bring things and see the rest of his family and friends and say hello to them before he left, Billy nodded. They took seeds from the flowers of the garden of their aunt / mother that were the most beautiful to plant them in Heaven, Billy's guitar and pendant, Spencer's photo album and video camera. They all greeted each other hugging them gently.
BJC: "Do you have any regrets?"
SW: 'just not having finished the film "
BJC: * laughs *
SW: "hey why are you laughing friend * rubs his head *?"
BJC "because your BFFE has finished the film"
SW: "whaaaaat !? How?"
BJC: "I directed, with the help of Shanila, the rest and .. violá!"
SW: "Billy you are the best! * He jumps on him hugging him and giving him the punch *"
BJC: "I know! * Bulb in the head *"
SW: "because you have that look..oh no ...no..do not allow yourself "
BJC: * tickles his belly *
SW: "no..pfft..hahahaha stop * laughs * as they ascended to Heaven, Billy started playing with Spencer as when they were little, tickling each other and a sort of" war "started. Spencer broke free and he began to do it himself, only he didn't stop easily ...
BJC: "ppfft..hahahaha Spencer! Stop! I suffer it! * bent in two and began to laugh like when Spencer made him laugh with that application that simulated the mouth of the zombie * "their laughs were so pure and so full of joy that children of they heard and said ..
Children: "Mom! Mom! The sky laughs!"
MB: "you know, it is said that when the sky laughs, it is because two pure souls who want an infinity of good, have gone up to Heaven "
B: "so this means that two souls are in Heaven?"
MB: "yes, but I think that for how the sky shines, they are two souls who have suffered in life and are now finally together .."
SC: "together again for eternity..so how was it supposed to be..you, after all, you swore it when you were little.two brothers, best friends, that even if distant relatives..you wanted an infinity of good .. sharing that good with everyone ... now only an eternity of joy and happiness awaits you ... my angels ". In Heaven, Spencer and Billy played with all the joy they had inside ... not ceasing to laugh, hug and fly together with each other, and with all the other angels, in the clouds ... in a place where no one would ever do them of the hurt, wounded or other ... where they would have waited for their family ... the two brothers had finally gone to Heaven together, remaining together again for eternity ... from then on,every time they played laughing, the sky released a shining powder on their loved ones, making them feel the same happiness they had given them and continue to give.
End...?
Extra :
BJC :" hey Spence' how end the story? "
SW : " ? "
BJC : " the story about the little angel and of the his little child friend..how end? "
SW : " tecnically never end..has a first ending for the main story part one "
BJC : " ook I don't know what mean , but for the moment?how end? I'm curious *puppy eyes *
SW : " never change BJC eh ?*giggle *"
BJC : " nope never *leans on Spencer's right shoulder with half-closed eyes ready to listen to the story* "
SW : " do you remember where we can stop? "
BJC : " at the sad part "
SW : " well..the story end that..." under their cherry tree in Heaven, which shook the flowering branches in the wind, Spencer told the end of the story he was telling Billy when they were on Earth, but in reality that story really has no end .. because even though they are now up there, the adventures and stories with them will not cease to exist and be created, starting from there too with them there will still be many adventures, who knows ... maybe even back on Earth ... no? everything is possible with two brothers-best friends like them...
The stories never end...
