Whenever I see people try to differentiate what is “Israel” and what is the “Palestinian state” I always have a very awkward feeling - which is why I think a lot of people need to reevaluate how they speak about Palestine and Israel, specifically what they define as occupied Palestine.
My father’s family is from a village in Jaffa (the district), which is now part of what most people define as “mainland Israel” or an “undisputed” part of Israel - like that land was acquired legally or ethically and an unequivocal part of what is Israel vs what is considered (at least to some) Palestine (the West Bank & Gaza).
My father’s family had the choice to flee or die and to this day cannot return home to Jaffa. It leaves me with a strange feeling when people discuss a hypothetical “two state solution” as if that land is inarguably Israel and the West Bank and Gaza is inarguably Palestine - my family is not from the West Bank or Gaza, they’re from Jaffa. Proudly Palestinians from Jaffa - they’re not Israeli and never be Israeli, they predate the modern colonial state of Israel.
When people talk about occupied Palestine, they’re usually referring to the 1967 borders and the increasing settlements in the West Bank, when Palestinians talk about occupied Palestine, we’re talking about all of it - every corner of what people define as “mainland Israel” there is a story of Palestinian dispossession - It includes my family and thousands of others.
Leaving this map here for people to get an idea of how much destruction of Palestinian life and communities happened in what people see as an “undisputed part of Israel” - there is a reason the Palestinian population here plummeted in 1948.
In short:

Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan & Rajwa Al Saif's Upcoming Wedding
Only one week day left until the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and Rajwa bint Khaled Al Saif! It will be held on June 1st at 4:00pm at Zahran Palace followed by a reception at Al Husseiniya Palace. The future Crown Princess Rajwa's engagement ring features a large pear shaped diamond but for her henna party she wore a different ring with tilted marquis cut diamonds.
If Rajwa chooses a tiara that already belongs to the JRF, my choice is Queen Rania's Arabic Scroll Tiara. She has already worn several pairs of earrings loaned by her future mother-in-law so wearing one of her tiaras is a strong possibility.
However, my prediction is for her getting a brand new tiara especially after Princess Iman debuted a new tiara at her wedding earlier this year. The tiara might be a gift from either from the JRF or from her own family, who are apparently quite wealthy, but I very much doubt that they will release any information about the tiara like they will for the gown.
Queen Rania hosted the henna party on May 22nd at Raghadan Palace (here's a longer video and the highlight video is below) and King Abdullah will host the sahra party on May 31st at the Bani Hashem Matharib. There's also a concert on the 29th and practices are underway for the parades and drone shows so I expect this to be a pretty big celebration.
The dress code for the guests will be long dresses but no tiaras. The Jordanian royals aren't very big on tiaras so I wasn't expecting the dress code to include them. Update: Saad Salman is now reporting that the guests will also be wearing tiaras most likely at the banquet following the wedding.
The foreign royals that have confirmed attendance so far are...
Belgium - King Philippe & Crown Princess Elisabeth
Bhutan - Queen Jetsun Pema & Princess Eeuphelma
Brunei - Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah & Prince Mateen
Denmark - Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary
Japan - Princess Takamado & Princess Tsuguko
Kuwait - Sheikh Ahmad Al Abdullah Al Sabah
Liechtenstein - Hereditary Prince Alois & Hereditary Princess Sophie
Luxembourg - Prince Sebastien
Malaysia - King Abdullah & Queen Azizah
Netherlands - King Willem Alexander, Queen Maxima, & Crown Princess Catharina Amalia
Norway - Crown Prince Haakon
Oman - Crown Prince Theyazin bin Haitham
Qatar - Sheikha Moza bint Nasser & Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad
Romania - Princess Margareta & Prince Radu
Saudi Arabia - Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (he's the official representation but I expect more Saudi royals because Rajwa is related to a lot of them through her mother)
Spain - King Juan Carlos & Queen Sofia
Sweden - Crown Princess Victoria & Prince Daniel
United Kingdom - Prince of Wales, Princess of Wales, & Princess Beatrice of York

Gods, I just watched Kedarnath and... I'm going to cry a little I think. Or a lot.
First of all, Sara Ali Khan is fantastic, no doubt about that.
Secondly, Sushant Singh Rajput, you are a star and you are eternally missed.
Thirdly, floods and tsunamis are one of my biggest fears and mother of gods I'm going to have nightmares. That was A LOT of water.
Fourth, the songs were so good. So, so good. Qaafirana and Jaan Nisaar and Sweetheart? Gods, take a knife directly to my chest, won't you.
Fifth, the valley is beautiful. The movie is beautiful, the settings, the story, the love, the realness of it all...
And finally, I loved it and my heart was beating so fast, and my eyes are full of tears and I'm going to go and curl up in my bed and have ten thousands feelings.

Possible Tiaras in Jordan
Saad Salman from The Royal Watcher is now reporting that one of the events for Crown Prince Hussein's wedding will have guests wearing tiaras but we don't know which one. I was not expecting this at all because the Jordanian royals rarely wear tiaras. I can't find any past Jordanian royal weddings with guests wearing tiaras and they have even stopped wearing them at incoming state banquets. Here's my post with info about the wedding and the guest list.
The first possibility is the dinner tonight hosted by King Abdullah in the courtyard of Raghadan Palace. Earlier this was said to be the sahra party which from my understanding is kind of like the male version of the henna party where the men get together to celebrate the groom so if it's that then there definitely won't be tiaras. Now the stuff I'm reading is treating it like a big banquet with everyone including foreign royals attending. The dinner starts at 6:00pm Jordanian time which is in about an hour and a half.
The other possibility is the banquet at Al Husseiniya Palace following the wedding. This means there would be an outfit change for the guests between the wedding and the reception. I think this is the more likely option just because the people who track planes have the Dutch and British royals in the air right now so even if they land before 6:00pm it's going to be a close call to get them dressed and to the dinner in time.
There will be livestreams of all of the events and I will post them as they happen. Here's is JordanTV's live broadcast which is already showing some pre-wedding coverage and is not geo-blocked.
