Authors Note: this took a way too long but I finally finished it! This is pretty short cuz I don’t want to feel like I’m repeating myself with the Brazilian one. I tried to keep it as vague as possible so it’s not to a specific country, but I also had to add details from what I’ve seen in my family and from friends and their families too.

How you guys met is up to your imagination. All that matters is that he thought he would never see you again, but here you are in Japan, standing in front of him and his classmates as you introduced yourself to them.

You thought the same thing too until you saw him when you walked into class. After you introduced yourself you sat at an empty seat and waited until class ended to reintroduce yourself to him.

He read your mind and was ready to leave as room as the bell rung to avoid you, but he couldn’t find a valid reason to do so. I mean you don’t have a crush on him or anything like that, you just want to talk to him about how odd it was that you’d see him here.

Everyone thought your Japanese was really good for a foreigner, but the pronunciation of Spanish and Japanese aren’t really that different so you definitely didn’t struggle with that. Learning the language as a whole was a different story however.

As per usual you made friends with Saiki’s group and liked any good friendship that develops, you invited them to your house. You were a little nervous to serve them food from your country because you weren’t sure if they’d like it, so you went with a dish that was simple to make and separated the hot sauce (chile) so they can add as much as they want or not at all if they don’t like spicy food.

Needless to say they really enjoyed your food and wanted to know if you can make it again some other time.

Now back to Kusuo himself-

Because you met him first you were already close to him so he likes to come to your house sometimes and hang out or just to eat whatever sweet bread you want him to try— which he isn’t complaining because he really likes them.

If you introduce him to the candy he’s a little confused, mostly because most of the candy has some sort of spicy seasoning on it. He likes some but finds most to either be too spicy or just taste bad to him. So he stays with the sweet bread.

He also introduces you to some Japanese foods and snacks, so it’s not completely one sided.

Onetime you gave him fruit with Tajin seasoning on them and he went “why does everything have to be spicy.” But he ate it anyways and he liked it so it’s ok.

You know the face Kusuo makes when he’s eating coffee jelly, you make the same fact but with Tajin, man watched you eat the seasoning by itself and was distraught. It looked so cursed to him because you’re just eating straight seasoning. He got used to it and depending if Japan sells the seasoning or not he’ll buy it or just teleport to a store that does sell it and take a bottle for you. (you ever had Lucas candy with the spicy power, I used to just eat the powder without the candy sometimes. But upgraded to just eating Tajin straight from the bottle💀)

He likes it when you cook for him, your food is really tasty. He doesn’t ask you to do it often but he does like to hint at it sometimes. Sometimes you guys trade lunches, he’ll give you some of his lunch and you give him some of yours. Teruhashi was feeling some type of way after witnessing that, but rationalized it as Kusuo wanting make you feel welcomed to get her attention. Kusuo sat there listening to her thoughts like “???” He was so confused but made sure to stay by you to make sure Teruhashi didn’t harass you or did anything of the sort.

Like a typical Hispanic you also have a big family and you go and visit them during the holidays. Kusuo was curious and wanted to tag along with you so (with a bit of mind control) he was able to join you and your parents. He was very well fed during the time he spent with your family.

Very respectful of your culture and he thinks you look really nice in your culture’s traditional clothing. He likes you and whatever your culture has to offer. He’ll willing to try all sorts of foods you make him— as long as it’s not too spicy, he prefers not to be in pain and have a runny nose while trying to enjoy a meal you made him.

-You may not always understand Saiki, but you always jump in to help and defend him whenever the situation calls for it.

-Exasperated by your patience with others, but also finds it admirable.

-Impressed whenever you show off a particular skill by accident, even more so when you brush off any praise, especially if you demonstrate incredible athletic prowess. 

-His parents are enamoured with you, especially since on the surface, it seems as if you two are complete opposites. They’re thankful their son has someone so kind-hearted looking after him and always welcome you into their home with open arms.

-Never tolerates disrespect toward you, especially if you only ever want to help. He usually uses his psychic powers to get back at bullies or rude people in general. Makes sure to be subtle about it though, because he knows you would scold him about it if he got caught.

-Generally does his best to look after you, especially since you're always looking after him. And though he isn't very vocal about it, he appreciates your meddling into his life more than he's ever able to convey.

Kusuo saiki - 

He has a small nest he keeps hidden in his wardrobe, as he doesn't want his parents to see, and he doesn’t really use it very often

Saiki’s nest isn't too extravagant it's mainly just a couple of basic blankets and pillows with solid colors mostly blue and brown to match the rest of his room

He isn't too specific about either color or smell but he is actually pretty specific about the texture, too many bad textures will make him uncomfortable 

He doesn't have many scented items, he things it's too embarrassing to ask his alpha for them so he tends to to put items near his alpha so their scent rubs off on it and he can place it in his nest

You tried to keep the grin off your face as you came back from the bathroom and noticed the blue blanket you had been leaning on had “disappeared” from Saiki’s bed. Turning to look at Saiki who had the same blank loon on his face as he sat in front of his TV playing whatever parody game he found that no one liked.

“Mega?, where’d the blanket go?” you asked as you sat down behind him and leaned on his back to wrap your arms around his waist.

When watching Saiki K is so important to keep in mind that Saiki does not talk, we're only hearing his thoughts as the viewers. Not just because it's an awesome character trait but because, like, the other characters don't have the context we do. What we're seeing is Saiki showing his friend a hamster and saying "can you take care of this?" But all they're seeing is Saiki holding out a hamster and looking at them like 😐

Authors Note: no one likes to talk about shit like this, so I’ll do it myself. This is a sore subject for me as well and I’ve rewritten and deleted it more than I’d like to admit. This is my final attempt and while I can’t convey everything I wanted into a coherent sentence, I got most of it out and I’m ok with that. Hopefully it’s not complete word vomit, I wrote this and didn’t completely check it because I don’t want to end up spiraling.

Everyone has secrets they like to keep and you’re no exception to this. Except Saiki knew about it because it’s always in the back of your mind, like an open tab on your computer. Except you can’t close it, you can’t stop it from lingering in the back of your mind.

He can see and hear your thoughts after all. He can hear you wonder what you’d be like if it never happened or what it would be like to have someone simply put their hand on your back— or any part of your body that wasn’t your arms or head and not have the touch burn or even tingle uncomfortably even after it’s long gone. Sometimes he can hear or see parts of that event replay in your head, or just see the area where it happened and nothing else.

Even when you know that you shouldn’t be ashamed of something that wasn’t your fault, you just can’t help it. You can’t help but feel like you’ve been broken, dirtied and tainted. You have to live with the consequences of someone’s actions for the rest of your life.

So when you miraculously got into a relationship with him, you couldn’t help but feel sorry for him. You don’t know why you accepted his confession in the first place.

You knew you had to tell Kusuo eventually, because what kind of girlfriend doesn’t show affection to her boyfriend. What kind of girlfriend doesn’t let her boyfriend touch or hold her. It’s not that you didn’t want him to touch you either, you wanted him to hold you and be able to his arm around your waist and do all that basic couple’s affection, but your body just won’t allow it.

Of course Kusuo knew about your entire dilemma— he can hear it after all. It didn’t bother him that you’re limited to certain types of affection (he kinda is too) at the moment, what did bother him was that you were trying to force yourself to be ok with him touching you.

When you did tell him about your past and why you are the way you are, he of course already knew but saying it out loud instead of thinking it just hits completely different. But he told you that he still loved you just the way you are— and he really means it. Because of how much weight your past carried he decided to hold off on telling you about his powers for about two or three days. But when he did, to say you felt awful was an understatement. Regardless this set a new level of trust between the two of you and strengthened your relationship.

Kusuo thinks that you’re pretty resistant, considering that your mind pretty much replays that event on a daily basis and the fact that you’re trying to get used to certain touches as well? You’re pretty durable, even if you don’t think so.

If you remember who did it, he’s hunting them down and if you don’t he’ll find a way (psychometry or maybe his brother as a last resort) to figure out who they are. Either way he’s finding them and making them pay with interest. He’ll try not to involve you too much, unless that’s what you want. Either way Kusuo will retaliate on your behalf, anything to make you feel even a little better.

He’s a little protective over you, more so that usual. It’s not that he thinks you can’t take care of yourself or anything, he just doesn’t want to see you in pain.

He’ll be with you as you start your journey to heal, and even though the mental and psychological wounds will never completely go away, it’s better than nothing. He still loves you regardless.

as apathetic as saiki aims to be, i find him to be the most caring and kind person in the entire show (and in general). i was just rewatching s1ep6 and actually cried from how genuinely sweet he is. i think god knew that he was the only person in the world who would really never misuse his powers. even without them, i think he would be a wonderful friend.
