you and SAIKI planned to watch a movie at his house while having both of your favorite sweets at the same time.

saiki had just teleported to buy coffee jelly and your favorite desert at a convenience store.

you stared at the open window of his bedroom. it's a sunny day. the sunlight pooled through the window, giving your room a lukewarm ambience.

the birds chirped as the wind breezed in the room. the cool breeze was subtly brushing your face.

you inhale the fresh air, and relax for a bit as you bask in your lonesome.

that was when you realized that you were feeling tired and drowsy. your eyes were starting to close on you. right, you didn't get enough sleep this week because of some class report.

you fight the urge to sleep and occasionally flick yourself on the forehead a few times to wake yourself up. it worked, but it didn't stay for long.

curses. it's getting hard to stay up. you wouldn't want to ruin a date, would you?

.. or maybe you should go and get some shut eye for a bit. saiki's gone for a few minutes so you have some time to take a power nap.

you yawned, rubbing your eyes slowly. it wouldn't hurt, right?

yeah, it wouldn't.

you close your eyes, deciding to snooze for a bit. you grab a nearby pillow and cuddle with it. saiki's scent was on the pillow.

you slowly feel your drowsiness enveloping you, and immediately fall asleep.

saiki teleports back with a bag filled with coffee jelly and your favorite dessert, and sees your figure cuddling a plushie.

'figures, i knew they would be sleeping by now.' he rubs his eyes through his glasses. he's aware you hadn't had enough sleep this week, and it made you miserable.

saiki stared at the pillow you were hugging. he knew you were touch starved and absolutely hated it. he'd swat your hand away if you tried to pinch his cheeks; he's not the one to like physical touch.

he's seen you cuddle plushies and pillows in your sleep, but why is he getting so worked up just because of a mere pillow?

'no, it's nothing to me. why would i get—'

then it hit him hard. saiki, an all knowing and powerful psychic, getting jealous because of a lousy pillow? absolutely foolish. he wouldn't feel like that at all!

this is something silly to be absurd about, and he felt preposterous; not only on that damn pillow but himself too, for getting so pissed at it for some stupid reason. screw that pillow— screw himself too!

a sigh escapes his lips as he sets the bag down at his table. he wouldn't mind spending the rest of the day sleeping in with you anyway, he's tired too.

he walks to his bed, carefully lying down as to not wake you up; the two of you are in close proximity. he reluctantly drapes his arm over you, pulling you close.

it feels weird for him to be this close to you, even though if you've exchanged kisses; but now it's happening to him— and he's the one doing it, but he somehow.. doesn't really mind.

saiki closes his eyes and immediately felt lightheaded after, enveloping your warmth as he falls into deep slumber.

Id like to imagine that through Saiki's habit of playing cheap and uncommon games hes actually got a small collection of hidden gems and I want to imagine if he wanted to use the internet for once he could actually run a blog that he can type out his thoughts on games that nobody knows. He is a pretty fair but strict reviewer and comments on everything from the fluidity of the gameplay to the menu layouts and even the stylization of the graphics.

It backfires when someone actually finds his blog, even if its anonymous, and the word spreads about this guy who knows the best of the unheard games and has a knack to be extremely detailed in reviews.

He becomes a little bit of a niche internet celebrity and people spam his blog or email with suggestions of their own favorite hidden gems to review and some even ask for his opinion on more popular games. His blog becomes a reputable review source where indie developers want his attention to get their game out there.

Suddenly developers reach out to him offering to give him a free early copy to review their games and eventually he starts recording no or little commentary gameplay footage and he gets more and more requests.

He gets sponsored after a while. He makes a modest bit just from his blog and his videos and he wants to be annoyed at the attention but he enjoys the anonymity and people genuinely listening to his opinion.

Anyway i just want to think that kaidou or someone someday brings up saikis blog like oh yeah ive been reading this guy he does great reviews on indie games and saiki just smiles.

What types of sports does Toritsuka like to do to stay healthy?

Saiki: Unfortunately there's a grain of truth to this. Toritsuka avoids sports and manual labor like he's allergic to them, so he gets most of his exercise from running after girls.

what pokemon team would you think saiki would have?? (just saw the saiki art and got immediate brainrot)

It depends, I think! I'm 100% sure he wouldn't strive to be a pokémon champion nor a coordinator. And since his mom's allergic to cats, I don't believe he would keep a feline pokemon or one with too much fur. No bugs either! Dark pokémon would make him nervous too, I believe. I can see him having pokémon themed after sweets. (I HC that he wanted to only have normal typed pokemon, but his psychic aura just scares them)

I think he would have:

An Alcremie: (they look like sweets and some are pink colored!)

A Natu: I HC that one just started to follow him out of nowhere and never left. It stays in his room at all times

A Slowpoke: They are pink and very, very dumb. It's a very slow psychic type. Saiki wouldn't like to have one that needed too much maintenance, I believe

A Clefairy: In lore, they come from the moon? They are very rare, and serve as pets. I like to think that Kusuke bought it for him before going away to England for no apparent reason. Kusuo wasn't impressed (also, they're weird. I like to think that Kusuo kept it because the weirdness grew onto him after a while)

A Swoobat: they are psychic type mons! Very cute! They evolve by friendship as well. I like to think that Shun and Kusuo traded pokémon once they became closer friends. Shun traded its preevolution, woobat, for a golbat. (He thought a crobat looked cooler)

And... A Sewaddle. Now, I may be biased, since I love the Leavanny line, but I like to think that in my pkm au Kurumi has a Leavanny, since they are quite maternal. She would have gifted its egg to Kusuo, with Sewaddle being his first pokémon. Now, they are bug types, but I think Kusuo would try to rationalize it as the Leavanny line being not bug enough, which I think is pretty funny.

Now, I think he would name them all... but very short and unimaginative names. However, since Swoobat is traded from Shun, it's the only exception to this. Its name is Darkest Shadow of the Crimson Sky. Saiki calls it simply Shadow.

if i was kusuke which thank god im not but if i was i would make a far better limiter than he did. like god its so impractical. easily removed by accident? easily broken. not reinforced. no DIALS. no BACK UPS OR FAIL-SAFES

kusuo is like a nuclear bomb, you gotta make sure you know exactly how to keep it (saiki) from accidentally disarming itself (broken limiters)

kusuke just seems like he would fuck around just to find out.

but if i were to make it the biggest thing i would add is a dial. specifically one that can control the intensity of the limiters. usually kusuo has an all or nothing when it comes to his powers. if he could control the output of it it might actually give him a way to learn how to control himself better with less and less intensity set on the limiters.

he could baby step his way from learning to throw a ball when his limiter is to the max, then again and again at every level the limiter has.

also i agree w some people saying it should be near his ears. maybe a patch just behind his ear or a weird earring or a device that looks kind of like a hearing aid or a weird tech thing that covers one of his ears
