Timetravel with a twist:

Sakura was given a mission to go back in time, but she never gets it right. She has tried to save everyone at least once- including enemies, but she is always sent back or the scroll in her hands doesn’t activate.

She also finds out that she can’t die until her mission is complete. This drive her insane.

She has done everything she could, but now she wants to cause as much chaos as she can.

A trembling smile with wide eyes in such an unnatural laugh echos around time-space.

Records start piling up of things that don’t make sense and people are getting worried.

A girl, whose existence has been erased, is strolling into places without a care in the world and cheerfully picking a fight with someone powerful like it was normal.

People start to remember fragments of this things she’s done.

And she has done and seen many, many things.

This time, she decides to kidnap her best friend and tie her up and let the truth spill out.

“I don’t even know why I’m telling you, you don’t know who I am.”, she cried.

She admits that all she wants is to die and has nothing left. She cried her self to sleep after untying Ino and hoped she would attack her.

She wants to die because she doesn’t really feel anything anymore, she’s been desensitized it life and it’s meaning.

The one person she hasn’t tried to save is herself. Some one came up with that idea and with the help of others, they try to become her friend and save her from her pain.

But is it her pain that they need to save her from or is it something else keeping her from dying?

She is stuck in an endless, looping hxll that no amount of death can stop it.

No one can help her, right?

But when that scroll does activate for the first time ever, she’s so happy and crying but she doesn’t know what it means. What will she do now?

That moment, she realizes that she doesn’t exist anymore and that she is fading away. She smiles one last time and thanks them for saving her.

Her friends, however, refuse to let her die when she finally wants to live again. They grab on her and try to make her stay.

(It’s up to who ever wants to write for this AU on if whatever they do works or not.

If it does work, either gains a new last name or keep her original name- meaning no one in the current time has it.

If it doesn’t work, they all stare at their hands or the spot she was at and cries because they do remember her, or they don’t really remember but they always feel an emptiness or feel hurt seeing something that has her likeness.

Another things that she could be reborn without memories of them or she is a small child now and don’t know who they are.

In any case- in exchange for her to live she must lose everything her never let go of that helped her pain, she memories of them.)

That time Sakura threw herself in between Naruto and Sasuke's rooftop fight and Kakashi wasn't there to stop them in time.

Tsunade was able to save her hearing and most of her nerves, but her eyes were a very unfortunate casualty.

Now she's a civilian and has to figure out what to do with herself.

I searched Sakura Haruno because I wanted to see cute art, not hate posts.

Geez, I get it. She is poorly written and wasted potential. We know, move on to something positive for your mental health.

I haven’t been in the fandom in years and just started coming back.

Mostly because I’m hoping for well enough written fanfiction.

Sakura gets her first lesson in Genjutsu with Saeko. Based on the idea that humans have more than 5 basic senses (though there's no real science behind how many, with some saying 21, while others say up to 33).

Saeko is not actually a Hoshigaki- though they are very very distantly related. She is actually a Ningyo (mermaid) exiled from her coven, and living as a pariah, cursed to wander the earth, barred from the seas and rivers until she can get her pearl back.

As a mermaid-siren, she is intimately aware of the power of genjutsu (especially audial) and is a vicious teacher, forcing Sakura through rigorous training to teach her young charge how to understand and control her own senses/emotions before she attempts to do so on others.

Once again, thank you so much to everyone whose shown interest in this AU, you guys are giving me LIFE <3 <3. I'm so happy other people really feel that Sakura deserved a fighting chance. Together, we'll fix her!!!
