Digging through the archives for blog content and came across the photos I took on Halloween, 2012, in Salem, MA, in the Salem Pioneer Cemetery.
Have always been fond of this one in particular. I'll show more on the blog when it launches.
The detail on these headstones is exquisite. Intense craftsmanship. And they are much thinner than you think, they are incredible works of art.

The Old Burying Point Cemetery of Salem
A ghost tour of Salem is not complete without a visit to the Old Burying Point Cemetery. This cemetery sits on a small plot of land sporadically dotted with worn, decrepit gravestones. It is actually the second oldest cemetery in the United States and because of the dark history linked to it is also thought to be one of its most haunted.
Salem is of course most famous for its history of the Witch Trials. The Old Burying Point Cemetery is linked to that history by holding some notable characters that influenced this notorious era. The cemetery holds the remains of the man known as the Hanging Judge, Jonathan Hawthorne. He is suspected of being responsible for one of the cemetery hauntings, showing up in unsuspecting tourist photographs.
The Old Burying Point of Salem is also thought to manifest many other paranormal events. Many people have reported hearing disembodied voices, sighting unexplained light anomalies and experiencing sudden temperature drops as they trudge through the dated gravestones.

Most people say about graveyards: "Oh, it's just a bunch of dead people. It's creepy." But for me, there's an energy to it that it not creepy, or dark. It has a positive sense to it. - Tim Burton

Charter Street Cemetery October 21, 2023 Salem, Massachusetts
This is the cemetery where some the bodies of the victims of the witch trials were dumped and never given a proper burial because it was considered unclean or bad luck to touch the body of a witch. The grave of John Hathorne, the most hated judge during the trials, is also here. This is one of the oldest cemeteries in the US, which opened in 1637.

Quaker Cemetery Worcester, Massachusetts
Called Spider Gates because it has eight gates, this cemetery is said to be very dangerous. Starting at the first gate it is said that one will hear whispers and notice leaves moving around when the wind is calm. As one gets closer to the eighth gate, it is said they will feel the sensation of someone brushing against them. Others have reported seeing people walking aimlessly around graves. As one gets closer to the eighth gate, the sensations and images become so strong that most people faint. No one has ever made it to the eighth gate. It is said that some have suffered massive heart attacks and died because they were overcome with fear.

I need a favor from Stephen King fans or people who like the movies based on his works.
I need you to write (in the comments or in a reblog or in a message I don't mind) important moments from Stephen King books and movies that if someone interfered someone would be saved.
Let me explain why I need this:
I'm making a text based game for a school project. My main concept is that the user finds themselves in key moments in Stephen King novels and they have to make choices to prevent thighs going wrong.
For example, the user will find themselves in the prom from Carrie and they have to tell the teachers that Chris and Billy are under the stage to prank Carrie. If the user saves Carrie they get a point.
Your help would mean the world to me!❤️
Update: The project was a success and I got the 2nd best grade
