Do you have a preference for The Iliad or The Odyssey? Or do you enjoy them equally? Also, thoughts/feelings on Dante’s Divine Comedy (aka his Epic Poem Bible Fanfiction)?
Odysseys because my guy is in there a whole lot and I am a simple girl

An addition to the cocktail chapter of the @worldsbeyondpod Unofficial Cookbook:
Honey With A Note Of Song
an absinthe wash (the green fairy, for your roots)
2 oz. rye (your liquor of choice, strong and spicy)
1/4 oz. pine and rosemary honey syrup (you cannot go home again)
1 barspoon of saline solution (for your first divine smite, where you found your breath once more)
1-2 dashes of peychauds bitters (because this is a play on a sazerac)
a grapefruit twist (a touch of the bitterness age has brought you)
serve in a glass reminiscent of a chalice

I wrote a... fan-recipe? Truly no self control here if we're at the point where a fictional sandwich can take over my brain. Anyway thank you Aabria Iyengar for mashing together my grandmother's favourite summer starter of melon & cured ham and the revelation that was Austrian Tafelspitz marrow on toast.
Check out the winter-summer sandwich rendered by the Messrs. Callum magic cookbots' hivemind here:

I’m currently working on Lucy’s big piece for the fantasy AU but this is a fun doodle that I came up during the brainstorming process that I decided to throw some colour on. Doing artists side quests I guess :3

I hate how marketable witchcraft has become within the last few years.
Don't get me wrong- I'm glad it's gaining momentum and more support! I love to see new people within the community! I welcome you all with open arms.
However, the mass spreading of misinformation, cultural appropriation, cheap goods sold at expensive prices, amongst other things is. Headache inducing at a minimum.
The local stores and festivals I've frequented over time have gone from small, affordable, locally sourced goods, to large-scale social media shills, shoving bundles of "DIY spell" kits and overpriced crystals under my nose.
It's exhausting.

honestly i think the whole double trouble controversy could have been avoided if 1) they had shown more shapeshifters with different genders; or 2) if they had etherians who were also non-binary or were under the nb spectrum.

I’m drawn to this portion from the last chapter of The Holy Book of Women’s Mysteries (Z, Budapest) and with a quick google I can’t find much on a sun goddess named Lucina. Does anyone have any information to confirm her existance or not?

Black salt
My recipe for black salt + a bonus protection spell.
Tools:
Dish for black salt
Cauldron/fire safe dish
Charcoal round
Ingredients:
Parsley
Rosemary
Eggshell powder
Red pepper
Black pepper
Sage
Bay leaf
Salt
Protection oil
Set the charcoal round on or in your fire safe dish. I used my mini cauldron. Use a lighter or match to light it until it sparks 💥. Mix Parsley, rosemary, sage, red pepper, and black pepper together. Dump your herb and other mix onto the charcoal round and let it burn. I put a few drops of protection oil onto the top. I then set a bay leaf on top and light it on fire to burn it.
After all of the herbs are ash I usually have some of the charcoal disk left. From there I crush up the charcoal and mix it with the ash from the protection spell.
I mix pink salt in and eggshell powder then I pour it into my salt dish.
‼️ Ventilate your space, open windows when burning shit ‼️

September was a good month for reading ! I've already started on my first October book, Black Leopard Red Wolf. I can tell you right now it's unlike anything I've read before, is dark as heck, and I'm loving it.
I've got three books under my belt for the 23for23 challenge so far, here's to twenty more. 📚🏳️‍🌈👏
