If Kevin Fiege made an announcement tomorrow to say that he was removing all the Hulks (main Hulk, she hulk, red hulk...) I would be looking forward to Cap4 1000% more. Instantly.

The MCU hasn't made one good choice when it comes to Hulks. And frankly, given the level of rushed CGI lately, Hulks are just going to look goofy and bring the tone down.

I want a cool political intrigue, espionage, geopolitics kind of tone to it like CATWS and CACW. You know... a Cap movie. If you're having Sam have a conflict with a President Ross, cool. No need for Red Hulk.

This basically boils down to wanting Sam's movie to focus on Sam. I want this movie to be the best damn thing in Phase 5. I want Sam to win!

Dam fans can stay salty that Captain Carter is more popular than him. They are hitter that Captain Carter is Steve's equal while Sam is the lesser one. Marvel knows where the money is at and it's with Captain Carter. Plus, no one wants a black Captain America .

I think Sam fans have every reason to be upset that Captain Carter is getting more attention than Sam's Captain America. I think Marvel's execution was questionable, giving Sam a series about earning the shield and the Captain America mantle and then shifting the focus to alternate universes' Captain Carters right afterward, and even though I love them both and I was thrilled to have Peggy back, I wish Sam would have a bigger spotlight, too. I don't think there's any reason to shade Captain Carter or her fans in Sam's honor, but I completely understand the frustration there.

I hope you understand that you are the exact thing I was complaining about, but on the other end of the spectrum. All I want is for Sam to be treated the same way Steve and Bucky and Captain Carter and Tony and all of them are: like a character. I want to see the fun headcanons and the cute ficlets and the most heart-wrenchingly angsty meta the world has ever know. He absolutely is their equal, and he deserves to be given the same love and attention and viewed through the creative lense those other characters are.

Sam Wilson is so much more than a vessel for hatred and bigotry or performative activism. He's a loving uncle. He's a supportive brother. He's a sarcastic best friend. He's an Avenger. He's a badass in his own right. He is selfless and compassionate and funny. He is Captain America. And if you don't like that, that's your problem, not his.
