So who wants to put me in a coma until they dismantle the entire MCU, start over, and let me live my SamSteve dreams with Sam and Steve actually working together both as Captain America. I need my Captain Husbands. Times is hard as a SamSteve shipper. We barely had shit then and we barely have shit now because they want to insert Bucky into everything. Like I’m all for polycules or whatever but I really don’t give any damns about Bucky (and I don’t even like Stucky all that much either. I don’t hate it it’s just meh) . Like I tried but I don’t really care. I was a SamSteve trooper before SamBucky came along and even though I’m partial to SamBucky and whatever the throuple ship name is my heart will forever and always belong to SamSteve first. “On Your Left” was and forever will be iconic. Sam sitting next to Steve while he was hospitalized and playing Marvin Gaye will forever be iconic. Sam saying “I do what he does just slower” will forever be my crack rock. Steve going straight to Sam because Sam was the only one he could trust ? Steve inviting Sam to an avengers party as his plus one ? “Home is home you know” ? That’s the guacamole on top of the taco and that’s not even all their best lines for each other.

I’m just really yearning for SamSteve straight with no Bucky chaser. That’s all I’ve been craving for the past eight years and there’s no going back. Endgame didn’t fucking happen. That shit was cancelled for a tax write off. Steve and Sam are Captain America together and they’re married and they go on runs together every morning and Steve volunteers at the VA and they have Sunday dinners with Sam’s family (his parents aren’t fucking dead I don’t care) and they regularly babysit Sam’s nephews and come in for career day

Dunno if it’s a faaaavourite but boyoboy the big main work for Loyalty Lasting lives rent free in my head!

It’s not really even anything, just CATWS and CACW with cap!sam and civilian bucky and natasha playing the steve and eventually tony role? Like, a thriller romance(?) with best friends samnat, romantic sambucky, and winter soldier riley. Yelena and becca are major players, too.

It probablyyyy wont ever get written because i’m terrified of the brain damage i'd get rewatching catws and cacw after all this time… but… god.. i want it so bad lol

❔Choose a random WIP and talk about it.

Closed my eyes and chose a doc named ‘i wanna write mess’ which is what it sounds like. Its inspired heavily from the iconic Stolen Moments and a couple of fics by mackiesmcu that have been taken down. 

It’s a sambucky steve tony natasha besties college au. tbh i have about 14 of these but in this one they all reunite at the hospital because Sam’s still Bucky’s emergency contact even though no one in the group’s really spoken in years. It’s just a bunch of disconnected scenes rn, usually someone fighting someone for one reason or another..

💗Is there a scene you can’t wait to write for a WIP? Yeees! I recently decided the last chapter of to be good for you (would be the end of me) would be slightly different than i originally drafted, and therefore even moreee ridiculously soft and corny. (: sort of to mirror the beginning because i love shit like that

Unfortunately I have not read comics, i only watch MCU so i'll base my opinions on that

My favorite Sam ship is Sambucky, my loves, also Samsteve i think these two ships have the "supersoldiers completely awed by Sam wilson" vibe and i'm always here for it. Also Samnat especially "Sam and Natasha have a good time on the run" type samnat.

My favorite Sam friendship has to be Sam/Rhodey, I was so happy when Rhodes showed up to support Sam in ep1. Also Sam/Joaquin and Sam/Sarah (that conversation they have in the kitchen after Sam visits Isiah, my beloved) and i said Samsteve as a ship, but i love their friendship too.

I personally love SamBucky (romantic pairing), I think in the MCU is the only ship I like with Sam, but I also think it would be interesting to see Sam and Steve.

As in friendships there’s others I love (besides SamBucky and Sam and Steve). Sam and Nat and the one I love the most (but was no really shown much in the MCU) is Sam and Scott. I really think they’d be great friends because I personally think they give the same energy. I also think Sam would get along well with Peter and with Kate.

sorry if this is a weird question but I've always wondered why you don't have a MCU related icon? admittedly I don't think I really know what your icon is (book cover?) is there a reason why you don't use a sam/bucky icon? just curious!!

I was not expecting this question at all, but it's not weird, don't worry xD And thank you for asking!

I don't have an icon related to Sambucky for a couple of reasons, the main one being: I don't really like changing my profile pictures or usernames once I find a combination I like. I get emotionally attached to them, so they have to stay like that forever :D

Also, when I started this blog it was for an entirely different fandom. Then I found Sambucky. And then a couple of different things. Then Sambucky again. So this profile was never really meant to be about the MCU - it just so happened that I've been so consistently obsessed with these two idiots that it's now my personal brand xD

I simply didn't want to change my icon or username everytime I found something new I was excited about. So the viking with a sword is here to stay.

By the way, the picture isn't from a book. It's an album cover of "From Afar" by Ensiferum - a Finnish folk metal band which I'm very fond of. And I always liked this drawing, so I used it as my profile picture a couple of times when I didn't know what else to choose.

ooh okay this one came very early in my exploration of the fatws fandom. i had been reading a few fics and was just trying to brainstorm ideas for my own anyway this is the entirety of what's on the doc :

so this one is a sort of crack fic/comic with a pe teachers (who is the pufferfish) and discord. literally just discord. well, the red default icon. my friends and i have a whole ass detailed lore story and cropped photos it's... yeah it's a mess lmao

Again, I have neglected you, I am sorry! I have apparently been bad at replying to asks! Thank you for asking!

OBVIOUSLY, my favorite Sam 'ship is Sambucky. I have devoted an entire blog to these two fellas. I have a weird interest in SamRiley because I love to live in rarepair hell. I enjoy Sam/Misty in the comics. I also love SamSteve (in either the MCU or the comics you can't convince me these two haven't banged) and SamNat - I'm a big fan of the cap quartet as a poly ship, tho. Sam/Happiness IS a great pairing! Samquin and SamRhodey are cute, too. Sam/T'Challa has big enemies to lovers vibes and I'm here for it.

I tend to ship almost anything. There are few ships that are my NOTP.

Friendships? I really love the relationship that TFATWS started to build for Sam and Sarah as siblings. Joaquin both in the comics and the show has a cool dynamic w Sam.

I just came across this SamBucky fic that i had to stop reading. The plot was cool, the tags were not that crazy but Sam didn't seem like Sam to me. I was looking passed that until it came to the sex. Now, i respect authors who don't fall in line with the sterotype of Black men and how big their package is. I have read fics where this is written perfectly, Sam is still packing without falling into the sterotype but this author took it too far for me. The author had Bucky making fun of Sam's size and feeling pride that he was bigger and better than Sam. And to top it off, Bucky said out loud, "Steve is WAY bigger". WTF, are they for real. We are heading into 2023 and people are still writing this shit. And their icon pic is Steve as Cap. Ugh, i needed to vent. I'm sorry.
