Tumblr is doing something weird

Whenever I post a Rogue Town update, it doesn't show on my dash. It shows on my blog, but not my dash. All my other posts do. @happy-lemon said it doesn't show on her feed, either, but it shows when she searches for me. Is it because the headers are all the same? Should I stop doing the header? Is this a problem for anyone else or is it just me?

Also tomorrow's update is probably going to be late, again. I got distracted with this problem and ran out of time to finish tomorrow's post.

#sims #ts3 #sims 3 #photoshoots #character verse #gaia bethancourt #she's one of the side characters to freya's story #her berry version was #guava blush #I have a few ideas for her #so she goes on a few dates with keegan right #I'm not really sure how to incorporate these things in my verse because almost all my characters are queer and it's quite normalised #but I'm getting a strong vibe that she's compheting with keegan and repressing her true attraction to women #because I've been in similar situations (trying to force yourself to like some nice guy but feeling icky) #I'm still thinking maybe heteronormativity indeed exists in the verse depending on how you were raised #I just find comphet stories very relatable as someone who's both wlw and demisexual #so I'd like to try and include one even if my verse is probably more queer friendly than reality #sure it could be spinned as keegan just not being the right person but... idek if it would have the same emotional value #I think one of the reasons why I made my verse like this was also me not wanting to have all the queer stories focused on homophobia #and just let my characters exist like normal people without anyone batting an eye #which I often see in other sims games and stories too and it's so validating #but I guess it kind of depends on my mood whether I want a perfect queer utopia or to actually bring up and deal with real life issues

I need a new writing outlet so I've decided im going to make a blog and base it on this sim's perspective. Im actually so excited for it, I have a small storyline ready but it will mostly be based around gameplay.

the sim vs the reference.

idk i am posting this for fun and i guess also consider this a little tip on making sims. since i am not good at blindly making these pixel people, i would always use a reference ( a celebrity or a model ) so i at least have a guide to make sure i am making a face that makes sense.

and then i like doing this to see how far i was from the reference. the farther they are to the reference, the better is what i believe. since the idea is not to make celebrity sims, but get just close enough to make them look realistic.

so yeah ... behold. my sim making process lmao. that's it.

We’re gonna be late.”      The pair were rushing to class, darting and weaving through crowds of students as fast as they could. Rummaging in her bag, Mist tried to find her phone, unsure if she had remembered to pick it up off her desk.      “I know, I kno—”      The air was knocked out of her lungs as she collided face-first with something solid and unmoving. “—” She inhaled sharply, blinking, her vision filled with blue plaid. Jumping away hastily with an involuntary squeak, she realised she’d crashed right into the chest of some tall guy.       “H-holy shit, I-I am so sorry! I wasn’t looking where I was going, I-I-I—” Stammering as she backed away, she barely registered his face, too embarrassed to lift her gaze.      The boy chuckled cheerfully. “Hey, it’s no trouble. Are you o—”      “Mist! C’mon!” Kaylee to the rescue, as she swooped in and linked her arm with Mist’s, swiftly pulling her onward.      “S-sorry!” Mist shouted back one more time, catching the blur of a laughing face as she was rushed off.      “I can not believe you just walked headfirst into the cutest guy in our economics class,” Kaylee mumbled, half giggling.      “Whuh?”      “Oh, c’mon girl, I know even you have eyes.”      “Buh?”      “Don’t look back.”      “Why—” Too late, she did exactly that. The tall, blonde boy was still staring at her, watching them leave with a faint smile. She quickly turned back, her cheeks flushing. “Oh.” She did recognise him from class. Well. That’s embarrassing.

I find it really fun how there are big challenges/silly build stuff in the sims community and while the big YouTubers do it fun, it's been really nice to find smaller channels who also do the same stuff in different ways

#in the uk the sims 3 expansions weren't retailing for 39.99 when they were actively coming out #its a more recent thing - likely with the decline of the gbp - where uk costs are one to one with usd #they ranged 19.99 to 29.99 by the end (at least as far as i remember - this might be wrong! I might be wildly misremembering) #and its worth giving the quality of the vampires and werewolves in sims 4 some praise - they are markedly improved over those in ts3 #im on the fence with spellcasters #supernatural also added a bunch of non occult gameplay like alchemy which they folded into spell casters into the lackluster potion/alchemy #confirmed the price thing - paid between 19.99 and 25.99 on the ones i bought via amazon as they were released #so imagine it would've been similar price for the ones I bought at Game and shit like that #meanwhile NOW the uk price IS the same as the US price so it's more like £25 vs £80
