My favorite thing to do is get litNhigh and give a women a complete, very detailed, deep tissue, head to toe, massage.
She has relinquished her body with complete trust, to my hands. Mild house music playing, we cannot utter one single word gfgand absolutely zero sexual expectations from her or me. Just massage. My eyes are closed the entire time, As you lie there completely naked, I can see all of you through my hands only. No single muscle or point will be left un attended.
This is my favorite thing to do. This centers my mind, my consciousness, and my soul.

eddie got left behind.
it started with nancy: she got a job in new york writing for the big names and never came back after college. her name showed up on the new york times every once in awhile.
then robin moved out after her, following the sound of war cries against the fda. she dawned her combat boots and only came back to hawkins between rally cries for AZT.
a year later, jonathan and argyle decided that the world was meant to be explored. they stopped calling after making it to san antonio. sometimes a random postcard from a far away land floated into eddie’s mailbox.
the last to leave was steve. it was supposed to be a big night for them: eddie knew steve’d been sneaking out in the early mornings when he spent the night to talk to realtors. eddie himself had been saving, hoping they could put a down payment down on one of the ranches out by the bar he’d started managing.
only it didn’t go like that at all. it started with a nice dinner at enzo’s and ended with a goodbye. steve landed a desk job out in arkansas, working for walmart. he was leaving.
and eddie wasn’t part of that plan.
five years passed without contact. steve never came back - it’s not like his parents understood their son enough to want him, and robin only came home when she had the time. eddie was all that was left for him, and steve had left him. right there. right in the dimly lit corner of the only nice restaurant hawkins ever had.
eddie went back every once in awhile to sit in the same spot, and watch the same adults he swore he’d never turn into. slowly, steve’s smile got crowded out by those of men from the bar. the taste of his lips blended with those of the girls who came to his shows. and his laugh slipped from memory, until eddie didn’t know why he kept his silly ritual.
until one night, he heard it.
over the clamor of the dimly lit restaurant, through the din of couples old and new, bubbled a laughter eddie hadn’t heard in five long years.
it was like you could hear a pin drop in eddie’s brain. because there was steve, his hair cropped shorter and cleaner, his suit pressed to perfection. he sat across from robin and nancy who clutched hands like no one could see them. and there was an empty chair next to him that should’ve been eddie’s once upon a time.
eddie dropped a twenty on the table - he’d ordered an overpriced old fashioned and nothing else - and tried to slip out as quietly as possible. but then steve saw him. and the world spun in a way it only had so long ago when steve pulled him in close on the couch, or kissed him quick in the car before anyone saw.
there was a shift in the air, and every shade of grief shot through his body at record speed. then, like prayers that eddie used to whisper in his doublewide, begging for salvation and vengeance and something in between, steve whispered, “eddie.”
its silly how fast someone can realize they got the last five years wrong while kissing in a dingy bathroom stall.

WIP Wednesday
Well, I haven't been able to get 3x16 out of my head. So. As much as I didn't need to start a new fic. I started a new fic. This is going to be double whump (Owen and TK). It spun from a conversation with @marjansmarwani about how TK would react to having an uncle and all of this. Here is a long (sorry) preview (because I couldn't decide what section to post).
He slumped a little and let out a long breath. He wanted a break. Maybe that vacation he kept promising he’d take. Maybe a return to California. Visit some people again. Maybe not by himself this time. Maybe…
His phone buzzed with an incoming video call. He huffed as he saw the name.
“Speak of the devil,” he mumbled to himself. He glanced around, making sure no one was around, cursing his normally beloved glass walls. He shook his head, but couldn’t help the small smile that crossed his face as he accepted the call.
“Owen! Hey, I wasn’t sure if you’d be able to pick up.”
Owen smiled a bit. “Yeah. You had good timing, Robert. Just got back from a call.” He tried to stifle a yawn, plastering on a smile for his brother.
Robert furrowed his brow. “Looks like a rough one. You look exhausted.”
Owen shrugged. “Par for the course.” He glanced away, looking out at the crew. Judd was across the hall in Tommy’s office. TK was there with them, probably helping his Captain with the reports from their last scene. It had been a rough call.
“Here if you need to talk,” Rober interjected.
“I know. I appreciate it.”
“You just don’t take me up on it much,” he deadpanned in return, giving Owen a knowing smile. “Look, I know you haven’t known me long. And I probably don’t have the right to try but–”
“You do,” Owen added gently. “Not about you. Promise.” He chewed on his lip. “It was a water rescue. I don’t have the best history with those.” He let out a long breath, not wanting to explain. Not wanting to really talk about his other brother. The one Robert wouldn’t know. Never could have.
Robert nodded, letting out a matching sigh. “Tyler?”
For a moment, Owen couldn’t help but think of both the Tylers in his life. The brother the water took on a hot day in California, and the son who nearly died because of the ice water in Texas of all places.
He cleared his throat. “Dad told you about him?”
“Some. He spoke of you both. Not a lot. But some.”
Owen hadn’t expected that. Not about Tyler. He knew Walter had spoken some of him. Helen knew who he was. Robert mentioned stories from when he was a kid. But this…
“Owen?”
“Hmm? Sorry, what were you saying?”
Robert looked worried before continuing. “I asked what happened on the call?”
Owen nodded. “Had to send my crew out into a lake. Group of teenagers racing boats. Just being dumb kids.” Like he had been. “Had to send out some of my crew to get them out.” He left it at that. Not wanting to share how TK had been the medic to go out. How everyone watched him. How he couldn’t stop picturing his son with that damned tube down his throat a year ago. How he couldn’t breathe for a moment as his son dove under the water to help.
“Jesus,” Robert gasped. “I’m sorry to hear that.”
“Thanks.” Owen forced another smile on his face. “So, what’s up with you? I didn’t think you were going to call til next week?”
“Yeah, know I said that, but wanted to talk to you about something.”
“Shoot.” Owen tried to relax back in his seat.
“Well, I was going to ask how you’d feel about me coming to Texas?” Owen stiffened for a moment. “It’s okay if you don’t want me to. It’s not a big deal. I have a business trip in San Antonio next week. I thought maybe it could be nice to drive up to see you. Or meet half way. Or–”
“Yeah. Maybe,” Owen agreed. He glanced up again, seeing TK walking toward his office. “Hey, I’ve gotta go, Rob. Can you let me look at my schedule and give you a call back? I’ll see if I can find a day to come to San Antonio or a stop half way.” He tried to rush off the call. TK was stepping toward his office, knocking on the door and pushing it open out of habit. Owen never really cared if he just came in. But, he wasn’t ready to tell him about this. To dump all this onto his son.
“Sure, Owen. Just call.”
“I will. Talk soon.” He clicked off the call and turned his phone face down. “Hey son.” He forced that smile once again, pushing down the guilt he felt for both TK and his brother. Both his brothers.
“Hey dad,” TK smiled, much more genuinely that Owen and took a seat across from his desk. “Who was that on the phone? They sounded familiar.”
Owen sighed. “No one you know, buddy. Just an old friend.” He pushed back from his desk and walked around to TK, cupping the back of his neck. “Get warmed up after that last call?”
TK laughed. “Yeah. I think Nancy practically followed me around with towels and thermometers until Tommy finally came to my rescue.”
Owen huffed a laugh at that, patting TK on the back. He leaned back against his desk. “She worries about you.”
“I know.” TK shrugged and slumped into the chair.
“So, did you come in here to complain about your partner looking out for you health? Or…”
“I didn’t come in to bitch about, Nancy,” TK laughed. “Wanted to see if you were still good for dinner tomorrow? I know things have been so busy lately and we haven’t really had a chance to hang out. But I’d like to. If you can.”
“Of course, kid. I’ll drop you off back at yours once we’re done. We can go anywhere you want. After shift.”
“Seriously? Anywhere?” He raised an eyebrow. “Even places that have carbs and sodium and–”
“Okay, anywhere within reason.” Owen held his hands up in defeat, a real smile finally coming on his face.
God he loved his kid.

Have you ever experienced that nagging feeling that something was missing in your life? Not that your life was broken, just that something was missing. That's where I found myself in 2010. My marriage was 'empty', I wasn't happy with my job, I was tired all the time and just wanted to run away. As the months rolled by, I found myself listening to an ad on the radio in my car for an "Aging but Dangerous Martini Jump". Now that sounded interesting!
The jump was scheduled for a stunningly gorgeous Saturday in August. I went with my husband (now my WASbund) and my daughter. I suited up, went through the training and then made the long walk to the plane and to meet Dan, my tandem jumper.
First thrill, being very securely strapped to a gorgeous man of 6'4". And while a bit awkward, also very thrilling! In moments we were in the air and headed up to 14,000 ft. Once at the right altitude, we edged our way to the open door of the plane and in just seconds rolled out into open air.
Seond thrill... For the first 3 seconds, my only thought was, "Oh my God! I'm gonna die!" Dan pulled the auxiliary parachute (such a tiny chute, but what an impact!) We spun and twisted and flew through the air. Wow! What an amazing and thrilling experience! My heart was pounding in my chest and every muscle tensed.
The main chute opened and we floated to the ground. Wow! Instant silence. Absolutely no noise, only the scenery below. What I later realized was the sudden drop impacted my hearing and I actually couldn't hear anything for a day or so afterward. We finally landed (on our feet) and I had this overwhelming feeling that "if I could do this.... I could do anything!"
And I did! I quit my job, launched a Real Estate Investment business, filed for divorce, finished rehabbing my 3800 sq ft house then I loaded up my car and move to San Antonio!
Would I do it again? Hell yes! Jump scheduled for September 2023! By the way... the Martini was hand delivered when I touched ground. What a great way to calm my nerves!
