Irl podcast but readers feeling a little sicky or just have a big headache so they lean onto one of the boys (they’re sitting in between schlatt and Charlie cuz they’ve got a guest on)

They finish the episode quicker than usual because it’s that obvious that the readers not having a good time so they wrap up and get take out then chill at teds house and watch a movie, but ty ru all fall asleep on the couch, cuz multiple podcasts in one day are tiring

It’d been hour five of recording your beloved podcast, and while your outlook had been that of a positive one, the pounding ache in your head hadn’t seemed to ease up since the first few minutes you’d started recording.

It was Chuckle Week, which was arguably one of your favorite weeks out of the entire year, and as the week was rapidly nearing its end the number of videos needing to be recorded for your deadline was also nearing its end. And with the amount of ‘days off’ you and the boys had taken, primarily to eat sushi and play Mario Kart all day, you were about three guests behind with one day left.

So, as you could see you and your mates were in a bit of a pickle. But regardless of the circumstances, you were determined to meet your deadline in order to please your fellow Chuckle Sandwich enjoyers, whether you had a horrible migraine or not. However, as the hour mark of your final guest rolled around, you found yourself feeling especially ill.

Coffee and Red Bull had fueled your personality and eased your headache through the first few hours of recordings, but you were out of caffeine, and Schlatt was starting to become restless as well. And when Schlatt gets restless, he gets picky.

Not on you however, more specifically on your good ‘ol pal Ted. In the exact moment, he’d been compiling all of the ‘Ted killed my wife and children’ bits into one big mess of bullying the poor boy, while your guest sat back and enjoyed the show.

You and Charlie remained silent as the two boys bickered, and while you normally loved hearing the sound of their voices, them yelling overtop of each other for a prolonged amount of time, in duality with the extremely bright set lights, weren’t helping the aching in your head.

As their bickering seemed to reach a peak, so did their voices, making your head feel like a balloon about to burst. For a few seconds an intense feeling of dizziness and nausea overcame you, causing you to lose your balance and fall back against Charlie’s chest. Thankfully, he came to your aid before the other three boys noticed your fatigue.

“Hey guys, can you maybe not scream at the top of your lungs? Y/n’s got a killer headache.” Schlatt turned to face you, continuing to torment Ted, replying to Charlie’s latter statement. “Great Ted, ya fuckin’ killed em! Nice going.” Ted took the conversation in another direction, ultimately making the decision to end the episode a little early on account of how sick you looked and feeled.

His voice was to the point, making it clear that your well-being was much more important than the dependency of their last episode of Chuckle Week. “Sorry uh, audio listeners love ya to death, Y/n looks like they’re legitimately about to morph into another plane of existence, poor thing. So, I think we’re gonna have to end this one a little early.”

You frowned. Even if your head was nearly causing your downfall, you felt a weird sense of guilt for causing the end of Chuckle Week to come to an early halt. “I’m sorryyyy.” You managed to croak into Charlie’s microphone as you remained motionless, leaning against his chest. Not that he minded or anything, he was just happy to help.

The boys wrapped up their closing arguments, saying their goodbyes to each other and wishing the week’s guest a final farewell. They, of course, wished you to feel better and that they hoped they could return the favor for causing your headache. And truth be told, you were just happy to get away for a while.

Even if ‘away’ was destined to be Ted’s house, it was nice to lay down somewhere that wasn’t filled with blinding lights and bickering boys. And, in apologies for making you sit through their bickering, the three boys made it their solemn duty to make you feel as comfortable as possible until your migraine subsided.

They offered to do an assortment of different things to make you as cozy as possible, Charlie offered to order you whatever food you wanted, Schlatt had come with the idea of rubbing your neck, and with Ted specifically, he insisted on giving up his best so you could take a well deserved nap. But all you really wanted was to be alone with them, spending the evening relaxing.

And in a sense, your wish was their command. Blankets and snacks were custom, making sure you were just as snug as the rest of them were, before they put on a movie for all of you to enjoy. You were extremely grateful for everything they’d done for you then and in the weeks prior, as it was clear they really cared about you.

Even though you’d only been under the blanket for around 15 minutes, Ted having his arm around you and the softness of the TV humming in front of you had made you incredibly tired rather quickly.

You leaned your head against Ted’s shoulder, stating the following to the rest of the group. “You guys are too good to me.” You closed your eyes as sleep slowly ensued. A familiar voice slowly coaxed you to sleep with their heartfelt words, confirming the latter statement of how much they cared about you.

“Only because you’re our favorite.”

🎤 HI! I'm a geeky, introverted artist who likes to explore many artistic mediums, but really only posts digital art. I kinda like to draw anything and everything, but recently I've been trying to focus more on my OC's! Besides art, I love reading, playing video games (despite the fact that I haven't played many recently) and I like writing stories too. In the future, I plan to create a webcomic story with my OC's. 🥁 Hi! I'm Abel. I'm a Design and Mech engineering student, but my passion is art. I love drawing and currently I'm working on my dream project, a comic named FIVE. Do you listen to music (or tv shows/films/anything else) when drawing?

🎤 Yes! I actually create a new playlist every month filled with songs that have recently come out, or new songs I found that I really like! Generally, I'll listen to music when sketching but once I get to the lineart and colors, I'll listen to podcasts. For podcasts, I really like story podcasts and true crime podcasts. A couple of my favorites are Crime Junkies, Myths and Legends, The Bright Sessions and The Edge of Sleep.

🥁 *Yes*. All the time. I don't usually watch shows while drawing because my atention is all focused on the piece at hand, so... I miss most of it x'D so I preffer listening to music by a mile. It also helps me get myself in a nice mood for drawing <3 🎷 I mostly listen to music, generally one song or album of whatever artist I'm vibing to at the time. Constant repeat lately has been Blackbear's Anonymous album and Mesemoas. 6th single, Crossing Threads. Solid 12/10 🎺 I mostly listen to music! Sometimes I listen to a Podcast instead 🎸 I do listen to music while I draw, if I'm on a tight deadline where I need to focus, I listen to the Pokémon mystery dungeon red and blue recuse team OST. If I have plenty of time to draw, then what I listen to depends on what I'm drawing. it may be where I am getting inspiration from or connected to the aesthetic of the drawing or directly connected to it.

What’s your favorite music artist/band? If you could ask your favorite band/music artist one question, what would it be?

🎤 Oohhh, this is pretty hard honestly. I don't really think I can choose a favorite, but no matter who I'd choose, I'd probably ask them who or what encouraged them to keep going along the path they chose.

🥁 Currently it's panic! At the disco, I'm listening to all their songs on loop constantly lmao. They have such great songs, they inspire me a *lot*. I even created a character based on one of their songs, he's the one I'll be drawing for this zine!:DI'd ask them about the meaning behing lots of their songs <3 The interviews at hand do not satisfy my curiosity enough lmao.I also love Halsey (her first album is my fave), Set it off, Maldita Nerea (a Spanish group) and plenty of musicals (Hamilton, Be more chill...) 🎷 I've so many favorite music artists its so hard to choose, but if I had to pick one, the male J-idol group ARASHI. And if I had to ask them a question, I'd ask them if they're happy and enjoying life well. 🎺 My fave band is Placebo! If hav to ask them what their inspiration would be for their early songs 🎸 My favourite artist is Hikaru Utada and I would ask her if she likes her pre-existing songs, some being based on her life, being used for kingdom hearts or if she would prefer to make songs specifically for the game, about the game itself?

Do you play an instrument? If not would you like to play one? Which one?

🎤 I have a guitar, but I'm still learning how to play that, and definitely want to dedicate more time to that in the future. I'm also kind of interested in learning the piano or violin!

🥁 Nope, but I *wish*, I have such admiration for people who do, seriously. Live music is the best. I'd love to learn how to play the piano, the guitar or maybe the ukelele... But I doubt I will, at least for now, my hands are pretty full with college and comic making. 🎷 I wish I could play the piano and any string instrument. Maybe violin or the harp. 🎺 I used to play the drums 🎸 I can play basic piano. I used to play a recorder when I was much younger.

What do you expect from this zine?

🎤 To see everyone create a work they're proud of based off of a song they like!

🥁 I just really liked the theme, I have all kinds of imagery and videos in my head about several songs I'm obsessed with. It's a nice excuse to draw a pretty, fleshed out illustration and to learn some new songs in the way from the others' pieces<3 🎷 To be introduced to many different genre's of music and to hopefully find a song/genre I didn't expect to like! 🎺 Mostly just to interact with different people and artists! Make same new friends! 🎸 I expect to see a wide range of music presented, of different genres and both lyrical and instrumental. I hope the music resonates with the individual, something they're proud to share with the other participants and the eventual readers. I would like to have a journey through the zine, experiencing different emotions from everyone's art pieces.

his mother died giving birth to him. though he doesn’t remember her ( obviously ) he still holds a bit of guilt & think it’s his fault that she died. but his dad is always quick to snuff that line of thought & holds absolutely no ill will towards max about it

all he’s ever heard is good things about her so he loves her or the idea of her really. he likes to imagine himself in the stories people tell him about her & it’s a comfort to him. it makes him feel like he kind of grew up with her even though he never got to meet her

his dad is a sweet person. full of laughs & kindness. also bad jokes ( this is where max gets his own humor from ). he’s the kind of dad that people wish for. he’s always been supportive of max no matter what & he listens to him whenever he needs it

when they were little they played catch & watched yu-gi-oh together. max still has all his yu-gi-oh cards stuffed in his closet somewhere. now they’re more likely to sit on his dad’s front porch & drink together while listening to music

his dad has never dated or remarried after his wife died because that was his soulmate & he doesn’t want to settle for anyone else & his dad has always told max to find that one person for him

max was miserable in school. he wasn’t good at it & none of it made any sense to him. so he struggled in graduating high school. & he tried college but he couldn’t stand it so he dropped out thankfully with no negative feedback from his dad

he’s kind of anxious & fidgety so it’s hard for him to pay attention ( anxiety & adhd nation make some noise !!! ) but if he gets focused on a project he’ll ignore his need to eat or anything else to work on it

he picked up making drinks from his dad at a young age ( imagine a twelve year old making cocktails that’s basically how it was ) & is really good at it so naturally he became a bartender. it’s not his dream job per se but he enjoys it a lot & makes good tips from it so he has no complaints about it

basically he’s pretty happy-go-lucky but he’s also an idiot & annoying about it. he can seem friendly enough at first but once you get close to him he’ll turn up that aries personality & get on your nerves ( but he’s also like a leech & will stick to you )

he’s really into aliens. he even has a ufo tattoo ! he will fight with anyone who doesn’t believe in them ( or cryptids or the supernatural in general ). the x-files is his favorite show & he wishes to be fox mulder every day of his life. he’s also a diehard boogara

he’s a big conspiracy theorist. he believes in lizard people, the illuminati & that queen elizabeth is a cannibal & that’s how she’s stayed alive for so long. he’s very paranoid about stuff. he’s one of those people who read the terms & conditions on everything so that he doesn’t agree to some company stealing his dna & selling it on the dark web. he also refuses to pick up the phone because he thinks the government is listening in on them ( he only makes calls when he’s high & out of it )

& he loves true crime. he’s always listening to true crime podcasts & watching true crime docs

he loves energy drinks & coffee. he drinks them so much that he’s shaking about 75% of the day but he never listens when people tell him he’s gonna get a heart attack

he’s messy. his apartment is messy. his hair is messy. his entire energy is just messy. but he thinks his personality makes up for it

he can kinda cook but honestly he’s lazy & just prefers to order in food 95% of the time. also he has a bad habit of forgetting stuff like he’ll turn the oven on then get distracted then wonder what the weird smell in his place is

for the most part he’s nice but he does participate in “friendly” dragging. if you’re friends he will clown you & sometimes he can hurt someone’s feelings even when he doesn’t mean to ( more than likely he will not apologize for it he’ll just ignore it til the other person gets over it hopefully )

always losing his headphones. he settles for those crappy $5 earbuds that you find at dollar stores so he won’t feel bad for losing them anymore. honestly he loses everything. who knows how many sets of keys he’s gone through

he’s super clumsy. always tripping, always running into stuff. he’s broken a million glasses at the bar

he’s pretty flirty, pretty charming. he uses it to his advantage at the bar, draws in customers in order to get tips & phone numbers

he’s a soft thot. he’s easy to sleep with but he’s kind & caring about all his partners

he’s a really good boyfriend & he falls in love easily, but he’s forgetful & accidentally negligent sometimes. like he’ll go days without responding to texts or checking up on people. he doesn’t mean to he just does

he loves pins, patches & colorful socks. everything he wears is covered in them. most of the things he wears aren’t even related to his interests because people just give them random things & he wears them anyway

he can never open jars his beefy arms are useless

a fan of punny humor. he’s the king of dad jokes

he’s that person who puts his legs up on the dash of the car or hangs them out the window

wishes he knew how to skateboard but doesn’t even know how to ride a bike

takes in random cats & dogs he finds on the street. sometimes he tries to find their owners & sometimes he doesn’t but it’s fine

he’s addicted to those edited audios that are like “( song ) but you’re listening to it in the bathroom at a party & you’re crying because you’re alone” & he’s obsessed with joji so of course those are his favorite

he’s one of those pansexuals who call themselves gay constantly

uses uwu in texts to be ironic & annoying. most of his words have w replacing certain letters to sound like a smol

he gets stoned at like three am & tries to call people & ask them stupid high people questions like “if two vegans fight is it still called beef”

he’s also never left beauheart or gone too far away. just a few cities at most. he has a bit of a stoner paranoia about it. like if he leaves the state something bad will happen to him or his dad or loved ones

he’s terrified of horror movies. especially ones with clowns. he refuses to watch them because he’s convinced that he’ll accidentally summon a demon or a ghost through osmosis or something JHGDLFKGHD

maybe you’re the person who always ends up finding the stuff he loses & you’re stuck in this constant act of returning & you’re tired of it
