thinking of a au fic where, post-thriller bark Zoro was sent 10 years into the future where everyone's dreams were finally achieved. And he was sent exactly a day before Sanji & Pudding's wedding in all blue (They got together after they found the one piece & allblue). He was shocked but played it off as a joke, only Robin & Zoro knew the real reason why. And younger Zoro keeps staring at older Zoro like (" r u fr dude u're not doing anything") as the older just kept ignoring (pretending) like it was nothing. Because really it's nothing.

(plot twist; it was 40 y/o Sanji who sent him there.)

Hi @valentinaoo thanks for the question.

It could happen if Oda decides to bring back Purin and expand the development of their relationship. But as it is now I don't personally think it will happen and as you say I think the way she treated him is in the way and the small time they spent together is not enough for them to make sense as a good and well-developed pair.

And I also still think out of the two pairs that Sanji x Nami has a better chance of happening based on what we have gotten in the manga so far. Actually the way Oda writes Sanji with Nami is still a huge obstacle for any other Sanji pair in my own opinion.

I am open to be proven wrong of course, but as of now I would say no I don't think Sanji x Purin will become canon.

If this series ever pairs the crew off into straight relationships like every shounen does, I feel like they're funneling that energy into sanjixpudding and zoroxhiyori

One Piece Ships

My favorite canon ship: Baby 5 and Sai. If I reread Dressrosa, i'll probably recall my exact reason as to why I love them. But for now, I think its because Sai changed Baby 5′s outlook on sacrificing her life for someone. -------------------------------------- My favorite crack ship: Zoro and Perona.  Look, they spent two years together. TWO! That's longer than Zoro's time with the crew. You can't tell me nothing occurred when Perona was the one doing first aid for Zoro, as well being the one that was taking care of him (making sure he didn't get lost and what not). Plus the “Boy Toy” toei added in during Sabaody just sold me on this ship. 

-->Two people who grow to live together in a new normal despite their rickety past, and throughout them getting use to their new normal, they learn each other’s quirks and start to find condolences in one another’s presence from the loss they experience. As they part, they keep their memories of their experience together as they carry on to another new normal.

SanjiXPudding: Conflicted. Oda literally made them for the canon ending. The parallels, the similarity in their passions, the kiss. . . If only Pudding wasn't 16 though. 

--> Story of two people where one started with the pretense of loving the other, while the other was willing to sacrifice everything for the other. They learn to forgive and forget as this relationship deals with their past traumas and their chemistry in personalities. They eventually part with the experiences of their relationship never leaving the other.

LuffyXNami: If Luffy gets with anyone we know in the story, it will be Nami. Otherwise it has to be a mob character we will never meet. Oda practically supports this ship. Luffy and Nami are two people with opposite personalities but yet are so dependent on one another for their journey. 

-->Two people so different with clashing personalities discovering a way to live with the other not because the other person is essential to their journey, but because they want to. They learn to grow and adapt together on their journey to the end.

FrankyXRobin: Canon. They have to be canon. Robin is just so comfortable with Franky. You can tell by her instant remarks to Franky about her distastes.

LuffyXBoa: I don’t see it. Sorry, but Boa deserves more than being the wife that’s left behind on land, waiting for her husband to return. As a character, Boa deserves more to her development on her trauma than just pushing the conclusion of her trauma all on Luffy. Boa deserves better than getting left behind in the dust like this.

SanjiXViola: Lol no. I never understood this ship.

PeronaXMihawk: I don't ship Perona and Mihawk because in my eyes, I see their relationship as more of Mihawk being Moria's substitute for Moria.

ZoroXTashigi: Dislike it but if it happens, it happens. I don’t deny the highly canonical possibility of this ship. Personally though, I hate this ship because Kuina existed. The fact that Tashigi resembles Kuina turns me off from this pairing so much. It's like dating someone just because they were a copy of your dead lover. It reminds me of the whole Inuyasha X Kikyo vs Inuyasha X Kagome. I hate this troupe. ZoroXHiyori: Eh, I simply don't see it lol. The only reason that i see that they're shipped together is because their roots are both Japanese based lol. Aside from the one time they “slept” together, I see no chemistry at all.

Least Favorite character: Señor Pink (i mean i don't hate him... it's just too much and not enough interesting at the same time)

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Going Merry, Thousand Sunny, Baratie, Noah and Moby Dick. I think, maybe except Noah, they all have canons, since they're pirates' ships.

Character I find most attractive: Luffy (then Shanks)

Character I would marry: Shanks or Nami

Character I would be best friends with: Robin

a random thought: I wish Oda will soon remember that he made Sanji someone very intelligent who's able to plan, adapt and think in advance and gave several time some tactical advantages to the strawhats (i liked is sensibility being explore on whole cake island, but i do miss him being very clever)

An unpopular opinion: Sanji being a pervert doesn't make it a bad character undeserving of love, he is still a damn interesting character.

My Canon OTP: ??? is ShanksxMakino canon (common', that baby is shank's! no?) ? Maybe not but this would be one of the closest there is as a couple (and that i like).

My Non-canon OTP: Heh, none really. One movie made me vaguely ship LuffyxNami but really not an OTP...

Wow, just... wow... the Sanji x Pudding romance has definitely reached it's turning point with this chapter. I am so happy.. Starting with Big mom's song comparing them to a Prince and the Princess being pulled apart

To Pudding remembering everything that happened between her and Sanji

To her, dropping his Cigarette and kissing him.. While erasing his memory of the kiss and her goodbye...

To her breaking in unconsolable tears...

It was executed so perfectly...

Damn, I can't help but feel hurt, because this girl feels so ugly and unloved, that she decided she doesn't deserve Sanji and his Kindness, so she just got her last kiss and said goodbye, and now is hurting alone..

Did Sanji still feel something on his lips after he lost the memory? Will he think of Pudding, wondering what her request was? Will he Miss her?

Ahhh, i want them to meet again someday, because Pudding is a perfect girl for Sanji and he will probably Never be loved like that again.

im laughing over the fact that katakuri and pudding are basically having the same arc right now XD like “damn this guy is a loser and i want him dead” to “nvm future husband material right there”

they have be intentional parallels. they HAVE to be. both are antagonistic towards a straw hat but then they find out that in comparison to their blood family, neither of the straw hats find their physical “deformity” disgusting in any way cmon oda you have to have set this up on purpose

if anything katakuri is even worse because pudding is still hiding her third eye and manipulating everyone’s memory so that she can work in secret with sanji and meanwhile katakuri is straight up ripping his clothes off and screaming  “WHATCHA GONNA DO ABOUT IT”
