Hey it’s me!! 😁 just wanted to say keep up the amazing work and if you don’t mind, ima throw in a request! If you don’t feel like doing it, feel free to delete it! We do share a favorite, that’s for sure, paul! However do you write for Paul x reader x marko? If so here’s what I have (totally can just write for one too. Doesn’t have to be both! Like your rules said, have open artistic freeedom!) :) >
Paul x rocker fem! reader x marko? Maybe like a woman who loves rock but definitely dressed to impress? Like a blinged out jacket and leather skirt? Huge! Huge hair! (Kinda self projecting aha-) but would love to have like a blasting bike ride? Have blaring music riding down a Santa Carla high way on the back with one of their bikes just being terrors on the road? Being ahem ✨bike candy✨ or ✨backseat princess✨
And a spicy idea— maybe RIDING *wink wink* one of them while they ride their bike? Or sit on the bike. However? Just sounds like some shit they’d do. But really it’s open to you. I’m just projecting some ideas I’ve had for a while!
Love the visual of them all standing at a gas station like ✨⛽️🧍🏍️✨⛽️🧍🏍️✨⛽️🧍🏍️✨⛽️🧍 🏍️all filling up their bikes and just jingling subtly with all the jewelry and chains.
So sorry this got long. LOL! But again keep up the great work and I’ll always support you boo! 💗💗

🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇
You squealed, bouncing on the back of Marko’s bike as he sailed over yet another bump in the road. You brought your hands closer together, tightening your grip around his waist. Vampires weren’t exactly the most cautious drivers, and you weren’t wearing a helmet.
Your boys had tried, but you’d refused. You spent way too much on hairspray to have your masterpiece ruined by helmet hair.
Marko had rolled his eyes at your protesting, but Paul had understood.
“It’s hard work keeping up with a mane like this,” he’d pleaded your case while fixing his own glorious hairstyle into place.
You almost regretted it when Marko hit a huge pothole, but nothing beat the feeling of the salty sea wind blowing through your locks while you zoomed through Santa Carla at night.
Marko turned towards you a bit when he felt your grip tighten around him. “Gonna stop to fuel up soon bella ragazza,” he promised.
You nodded back and leaned your head against his back as he sped.
The hum of the motor died down as Marko pulled to a stop at a pump. It wasn’t long before Paul rode up to the other side.
“Hey slowpoke, was wondering if you’d make it here before morning,” Marko teased.
“Ha ha.” Paul replied, “had to drive behind ya so I’d catch her if she flew off the bike Evel Knievel.”
He dismounted and strode over to your side as Marko began to fill up his tank. You moved to slide off but Paul picked you up before you could.
“Hey!” you exclaimed as he spun around with you in his arms.
“Princess like you shouldn’t have her feet touchin’ the ground baby, we’re gonna carry you everywhere,” he promised as he rubbed his nose against yours.
You blushed at Paul’s sweet talk, “yeah you’re a real prince Paulie, you gonna put me down now?”
Marko shoved the fuel dispenser back into place before stealing you from Paul. “Serious baby,” he smiled as he held you, “let us take care of our pretty little rockstar yeah?”
Your face flushed a deeper red while Paul pouted at his suddenly empty arms. “Not cool bud,” he mumbled.
“Go fill up your bike Paulie,” Marko teased as he placed you back on his motorcycle.
His hands fell to your knees as he pulled them apart and moved to stand between your legs. You let out a tiny gasp at his sudden closeness.
Marko leaned in, pressing a kiss to your cheek as he began to toy with the hem of your jet black skirt. He licked your ear, forcing a whimper from your full lips.
“Love you in a skirt dolcezza,” he placed his hands on your thighs, pushing up the skirt so it bunched around your hips.
“Marko,” you warned, “people will see…”
Marko quirked a brow as he took one of his hands from your hips and reached under your skirt. A gasp fell from your lips.
“See what baby?” he asked as you fought to keep a moan from spilling out, “see me standin’ in front of you? Can’t see anything else from this angle,” he pulled your soaked panties to the side and pushed a finger into you. You took in a sharp breath.
Paul waved frantically, causing your head to turn as Marko crooked his finger inside you. “I dunno guys, I’m seeing a lot more than standing from over here,” he mocked.
“Jealous,” Marko sing-songed.
Paul crossed his arms, his lip jutting out as he leaned back against the pump.
You reached out for him, your other hand wrapped around Marko’s shoulder. “Need you too Paulie,” you breathed between whimpers and moans as Marko pushed another finger into you, swiping his thumb across your swollen clit.
If Paul had a tail it’d be wagging. His smile stretched from ear to ear. He came up behind you, pulling off your deep purple leather jacket and sliding his hands under your top. “Thought you’d never ask honey,” he whispered in your ear.
“Hey Paulie,” Marko smirked as he continued to toy with you.
“Hey Marko,” Paul replied as he leaned forward.
Marko’s lips met his, both boys pressing their bodies against yours as they shared a sensual kiss.
The sight, combined with Marko stroking your clit, and Paul circling your nipples threw you over the edge. Your head fell back onto Paul’s shoulder as you coated Marko’s hands with your release.
Marko smiled into Paul’s lips as he felt your legs shake. He pulled away from Paul before withdrawing his fingers from you with a pop. You whimpered.
He sucked his middle finger clean, “mmm so sweet baby,” he said, kissing your forehead, “wanna taste Paulie?” he held out his hand to Paul.
“You know I do,” Paul replied as he leaned forward and sucked the rest of you off of Marko’s pointer finger.
“Taste so good honey,” Paul whispered in your ear, “that’s why I call ya sugar,” he winked.
Your head turned towards him with a lazy smile, “you’re pretty sweet yourself Paulie,” you pecked his lips, “you too,” you pecked Marko’s.
“But I’m gonna spend the rest of our joyride with sticky thighs, so not fair,” you pouted.
Marko’s angelic face turned devilish as a smirk spread across his lips, “can’t have that now can we bella?”
He kneeled in front of you as Paul held your waist from behind. Your hands found their place in Marko’s curly hair, pulling lightly as he licked your thighs clean.
When he finished he smoothed your skirt back into place and put his head on your lap, “can’t get enough of you pretty girl.”
You couldn’t stop the blush that rose to your cheeks, they knew exactly what to say to make your heart race.
Paul cleared his throat from behind, “speaking of not gettin’ enough, I think maybe I deserve to have ya on my bike the rest of the night.”
You giggled, “ok Paulie, whatever you want.”
“Whatever I want? How bout I take you for a ride then?”
You shot him a confused look, “Isn’t that what you just said?”
He smirked, “no babe, I’m takin you on my bike, but I’d also like to take you on my bike, ya know?”
Your lips parted in shock.
“Betcha wish you had that helmet now, huh babe?” Marko teased.
You hesitated, but the proposition made your thighs clench. “What if we crash?”
Paul’s face turned serious, “sugar I wanna make you feel good, I would never let anything happen to you,” he promised, “if you’re not comfortable, say the word and I’ll just drive you around, it’s whatever you want baby.”
You bit your lip, “no…I want to,” you told him, your voice heavy with desire, “I trust you.”
He smiled and kissed you softly, “I’ll take real good care of you babe I promise.”
He slithered around to your front, wrapping his hands around your thighs and squeezing lightly. He moved down and slid his hands up your skirt, rolling down your panties and stuffing them in Marko’s back pocket.
“Paul,” you breathed in shock.
“Just woulda gotten in the way sugar,” Paul winked as he squeezed Marko’s ass.
You smiled as your wrapped your arms around his neck and your legs around his waist. He slipped his hands under your thighs and carried you to his bike, placing you down towards the front of the seat.
You turned slightly to reach out and unbuckle paul’s belt, much to his surprise. You winked, “it’d just get in the way.”
He smiled and kissed you as he took over for you, turning you back to face the handlebars before freeing himself from his jeans and mounting the bike behind you. He flicked the kickstand up, but before he could start the engine, you gasped.
His brow furrowed and he leaned around to your side, “what’s wrong baby?”
“My jacket…” you pouted.
“Got it!” Marko called from his bike, holding it up for you to see, “don’t worry dolcezza, I know a thing or two about keeping a jacket safe,” he teased.
You smiled, “let’s ride.”
Paul smirked, “don’t gotta tell me twice.”
He reved the engine, sending pleasurable vibrations throughout your body. You squeaked.
Paul laughed softly, “don’t get too excited, not even inside you yet honey.”
You couldn’t see him behind you, but you knew he was smirking. You rolled your eyes.
You gripped the handlebars, your hands sandwiched in between Paul’s so he could steer. He kissed your cheek before taking off down the road, Marko not far behind.
Paul pressed into you slowly as he maneuvered the bike.
You moaned as you felt the familiar stretch of him. You pushed back onto his throbbing cock.
He was half way in when he popped a wheelie, knocking a gasp from your lips and causing you to slide down on his dick until he was balls deep inside you.
“Paul!” you screamed, half in shock and half in pleasure.
He kissed your cheek in apology, “sorry sugar, couldn’t wait, you feel too good,” he moaned, “god you’re so warm, and wet, and tight. Fuck. Love this pretty little pussy more than anything. Love you more than anything.” His praise sent shivers through you.
He bit down on your shoulder as he began to move in and out of you slowly, rocking his hips in a steady rhythm, careful not to give you too much all at once.
Moans, gasps, and whimpers fell from your lips as Paul fucked you gently.
After awhile, he pulled a hand from the steering wheel and pushed you towards the fuel tank, pressing you clit up against it. He twisted the throttle, causing the bike to speed up and the tank to vibrate harder.
“Fuck Paul,” you moaned loudly as you felt the vibrations rip through you.
“Mmm feel good baby?” he whispered as he rolled his hips into you roughly, stroking the spongey spot deep inside you. You both moaned in unison as his movements caused you to clench down around him.
“Close sugar?” he asked, his voice strained and thick with arousal.
“Yeah,” you breathed in reply, “you?”
“Mhmm,” he hummed, “cum with my baby, coat my dick for me,” he said as he roughly hit your g spot once more.
That sent you tumbling over the edge and you fell apart on his cock. He moaned your name as he came inside you, filling you up.
As he came down from his high, Paul pulled over to let you catch your breath. As soon as his kickstand went down, you collapsed forward on the motorcycle, exhausted. Your cum and his leaking out of you onto the seat.
He chuckled and gathered you up in his arms, holding you close to his chest. “You with me baby?” he asked as he pushed sweaty strands of hair from your face.
“Yeah,” you sighed wistfully, “let’s do that again sometime.”
Paul laughed, “whenever you want babe, just say the word.”
Marko pulled to a stop next to the two of you. “How’s she doin?” he asked.
“She’s great,” you replied, “maybe ready to head home.”
Marko’s lips pulled up into a smile, “sounds good, but first…”
He stole you from Paul and set you down on his bike seat, legs facing him.
“First what?” you asked confused.
“Gotta take care of those sticky thighs again bella,” Marko winked as he kneeled down in front of you.

Poly Pack Future Careers
( This AU takes place after Beasts of Santa Carla fanfic series)
David in the early 2000's invested in an old western themed whiskey business that he liked and now has shares in it while not having to work a day in his life.
Tumblr media
Dwayne sometimes bartends/ bouncers at Chateau Vermillion when he gets bored though his main focus is taking care of Laddie while he goes through teenage vampirism with his slow ageing pills he is required to take by the vampiric council.
Tumblr media
Paul started cultivating his own strain of weed back in the 90s in him and Stars smoker room in the new house. He sold his strain for a long time but his business didn't take off until legalization. Celebrities will pay top dollar just to get an ounce of his strain Fanging Flower.
Tumblr media
Marko has sold his art for ages and dipped into learning many different art styles but in the 2000's he really got into tattooing non humans and humans alike. David got him a tattoo gun one Christmas and Marko would spend his time using Paul as a guinea pig canvas ever since. Paul only kept the ones he thought were the best. Was a hard thing to explain when Dwayne caught Marko giving Paul a tongue piercing in the basement bathroom in the stoner room.
Tumblr media
Star got into learning witch craft and magic after becoming a Day walker. She works at the witch shop in town during the day as she enjoys the time away from the pack. David is happy she brings him good smelling incense from time to time.
Tumblr media
Micheal works at a mechanic shop in town with the lycanthropes as he formed a close bond with a lot of them. He specializes in motorcycles and enjoys customizing rides. The whole pack thinks it's attractive when he comes home smelling like motor oil and gasoline.
Tumblr media
Bonus:
(Y/n) took over Chateau Vermillion and is now on the Santa Carla inhuman committee as a representative for the vampires and succubi kind. She still participates in the fight club to this day even if the pack gets worried about her after she starts having kids. Nothing like Star and Dwayne having to take turns watching over a heavily pregnant hybrid as she tries to go fighting when no one's looking.

Holiday whump ideas!
Not sure if these exist elsewhere already but they’ve been knocking around my brain for days:
Advent calendar of punishments for whumpee
Deranged whumper who thinks he’s Santa and has “elf” and/or “reindeer” whumpees
Whumper who keeps a Naughty/Nice list and rewards their whumpee(s) accordingly
Caretaker helping whumpee practice fine motor function by decorating cookies or a gingerbread house
Recovering whumpee getting shocked by faulty Christmas lights while decorating with Caretaker
Recovering whumpee who flinches when they hear the whipcracks in “Sleigh Ride”

TV Tropes That Apply to Sick PonyCentral (Updated List)
Abusive Parents - she carries a family picture in her pocket, which used to have herself, her sister, and her parents. Now, it seems that she's cut the photo in half due to her hating their guts. Her dad used to mock her dream of being famous, but her mum is left anonymous. She states that she'd "rather not talk about her parents"
Arch-Enemy - SpongeBob SickPants for reasons. She also hates David Attenborough with a burning passion, and she's also not very happy with Purity Senpai due to him bullying her constantly
Prone to Tears - Sick PonyCentral is no stranger to bursting into tears every now and then
Cute is Cacophonic - her hiccups can set anything ablaze
Suckiness is Painful - her singing Rock and Roll songs can set everything on fire and cause many innocent people to be hospitalised
Berserk Button - plenty of things can piss her off. Her biggest one is being called "Sickly Kayleigh". Anyone who calls her that will face her wrath and end up either in the hospital, or dead
Big "SHUT UP!!!" - whenever her Berserk Button is pressed, she will turn red and scream this in a demonic voice
Precision F-Strike - she says the word "fuck" whenever Purity Senpai is mentioned, or if she doesn't get her way in life
Your Makeup is Running - whenever Sick PonyCentral starts crying, her mascara spills down her face, leaving purple marks on her face
Why Did It Have to be Snakes?! - she's scared of Lila Sky, even to the point of turning into her human form whenever she thinks of her, or if she's going through an angst based story
Gasshole - she has fire based farts. She also held the record for the longest burp in her school
Catchphrase - "HE CALLED ME SICKLY KAYLEIGH!", followed by her sobbing hysterically
Everybody Has Standards - Sick PonyCentral doesn't mind any form of swearing. But she will kick you out of her house if you say the C word
Drives Like Crazy - she has tried driving a car once, and ended up going so fast, and spun round in circles so many times that she threw up all over the windshield, that she crashed into a tree stump. She also rides her bike backwards
Prone to Vomiting - she's not just a girl who cries a lot. She's also a girl who throws up a lot too, but only if she eats way too many sweets
Epic Fail - her attempt at making a pizza always leaves it greasy and green in colour. Even the ham was slightly burnt, and the cheese was too runny. Most people pretend to like it so that she would be happy
Country Matters - Subverted. She hates the use of the C word, and anyone who says it will be kicked out of her house. They'll also get punched in the face by Sick Patrick
Shout Out - her shirt printing contains the words "PonyCentral (302)" on it. It's stayed that way since her debut
Does Not Like Spam - she hates dark chocolate because she says it tastes too bitter. Same thing with her creator too
Large Ham - whenever she's crying, or yelling in her Rage-Filled state
Lethal Chef - her pizza (see Epic Fail above)
Long List - her Christmas wishlist, which usually has 105 items for Sick Patrick to buy. Her birthday list has more than that, as it usually has 302 items on there. Gotta keep the theme going somehow. Sick Patrick ends up stealing these things after he hacks into the security system of each store he goes to in order to make Sick PonyCentral happy
Motor Mouth - whenever she's at Santa's Grotto, asking Santa what she wants for Christmas
Nightmare Face - she pulls one during one of the Poll Results comics
Heroic BSoD - she has one after Sick Patrick was corrupted by The Darkness
Sudden Anatomy - her human form has breasts, while her usual form doesn't
Viewers Are Morons - she laments about Season 3 always ending up with 6 votes per episode due to how dumb people are at not giving her show that much attention
Unable to Die - due to being a unicorn, she can't die. This also blends into her human form too

Hello, Rose. :) I'm sorry if I'm mistaken but I have the impression you've been to Venice somewhat recently (probably before pandemic, but still). If so, if you don't mind me asking, how did you get from the airport (if it were the case) to the city centre? Any other recs? If everything goes according to the plan I am to go there at the end of the month. Thanks in advance. :)
Oooh Venice! That is so lovely. I haven't actually been for over 10 years now (yikes!!) but I used to live there as a child and visited many times since so I do know it very well. In terms of getting from the airport to the city centre, I've always just got the public bus from outside the airport to Piazzale Roma which is the only part of Venice accessible to motor vehicles. You can get a water taxi I believe but I expect that's really expensive. The bus ride is not the comfiest but it's convenient and affordable. When you get to Piazzale Roma you can get a vaporetto (water bus) down the Grand Canal to wherever you need to go or proceed on foot. Most of the time you will be on foot unless you want to take the extremely expensive water taxies (I've literally never taken one) and there are lots of bridges so I'd bear that in mind when considering packing.
A lot of my food and drink recs are decades out of date, but here are a few things I wouldn't miss in terms of sight-seeing:
Piazza San Marco including the Basilica, Doge's Palace and Campanile. I recommend going up the Campanile on a clear, bright day. You can see as far as the Alps on a good day! That was one of my favourite things to do in Venice. Go back to the piazza in the evening with an ice-cream and watch the musicians. (Better to do that and have a wander between the different cafes than actually have a drink at the cafes - they're super expensive and you're stuck in one spot.)
Accademia art gallery
Scuola Dalmata di San Giorgio degli Schiavoni - tiny but the paintings are amazing. As featured prominently in my fanfic Consolation Prize. :P
Take a day to get the boat to Torcello and Burano. Torcello has an ancient church and is just incredibly remote and peaceful. Burano is extremely pretty with brightly coloured houses.
Walk all the way along the Riva degli Schiavoni from Piazza San Marco right down to Giardini - that's where the Biennale is held and one of the only real green spaces in Venice. The atmosphere feels different down there. Return via Arsenale.
Go to the Zattere - on the other side of the Grand Canal from San Marco - combine this with the Accademia perhaps. It's a lovely walk along the Canale della Giudecca and much less crowded than the Riva degli Schiavoni. You can also hop on a vaporetto here to the Giudecca and have a wander there, though I admit I don't know that area very well.
Visit the Ghetto in Canareggio, the old Jewish quarter. You'll notice the houses are so much taller than elsewhere in the city because of the need to fit so many people in. I'm pretty sure there's an old Synagogue you can visit but tbh I can't remember.
Other lovely churches beyond San Marco are the Frari, Santi Giovanni e Paulo, Santa Maria dei Miracoli.
Nice campi to sit in with an aperitivo - Santa Margarita, Santa Maria Formosa, Santo Stefano, Erberia by the Rialto (also go there in the morning for the fish and veg market)
That's all I can think of at the moment! I hope you have the most FABULOUS time! Do you know where you're staying yet? My primary school friend's family owns a hotel which I can recommend you if you like! I am feeling so sad/happy/nostalgic now. It's been so long since I've been there but I don't know if I can go back because when I do it won't be there same. It would be like stepping into a memory but the place and I will have changed so much... It's almost better to preserve the memories untouched, you know? But at the same time, I long for it. I can feel Venice in my very bones. It is the most deeply held and profoundly important part of my soul!

Reblog with your first incredibly obscure celebrity crush that you think no one else will have heard of.
I’ll go first, The Lost Boys, a movies about a gang of vampire teens in the fictional California costal city of Santa Carla, opens with a montage (skip to 3:03) showing just how shitty the city is, full of these damn teens and their dyed hair and piercings, riding their skated boards and their motored cycles. This movie was made in 1988, so obviously all of these people look like they fuckin rule.
One shot is of these two butches looking at each other, one of them has dyed red and black hair, black lipstick, sunglasses, and a leather jacket, and she’s the way I found out that a butch could beat the shit out of me and I would thank her for it.

In the Dark of the Night: Chapter 1
Tumblr media
~~~
"Keep going."
18 year old [Y/N] sighed as she sat in the back seat of her mom's Rover, leaning her head against the window, looking at the scenery of California rush by. The Emerson family had just moved from Phoenix, Arizona and were relocating to Santa Carla, California. [Y/N]'s mom had divorced her husband and had taken [Y/N] and her two brothers, Michael and Sam with her.
"Hey, I liked that song." Lucy Emerson, [Y/N]'s mom said. [Y/N] smiled lightly.
"Keep going, Mom." [Y/N] said. Lucy sighed and switched the radio station.
"How about this?" Lucy asked. 'I don't see any bogeymen or nasty guys.'
"Keep going." The siblings said. "You want to switch the band?" Lucy asked.
"Keep going!" Sam, [Y/N]'s younger brother said. Lucy gasped and smiled, hearing a song that she recognized.
"Wait. That's from my era!" Lucy said. "Grovin' on a Sunday afternoon!" Lucy sang along with the song. [Y/N] chuckled lightly at her mom. Lucy was what some would call, a free spirit. Lucy was originally an Ex-hippie. She was really comfortable with herself and didn't really care what other people thought of her. [Y/N] looked over when she felt someone nudge her gently. She looked over at Michael, who gestured to a sign. 'Welcome to Santa Carla, California!' Was printed in red and orange letters. They looked to the back of the sign and saw the words, ‘Murder Capital of the World’. Chills went down [Y/N]’s spine. And not the good time. Lucy smiled at the sign as they passed it.
“We're almost there.” Lucy said. Sam rolled down the window. [Y/N] gagged lightly, plugging her nose.
“Sam! Roll up the window! God, what is that smell?!” [Y/N] asked. Lucy took a deep breath in.
“Ah! That's the ocean air!” Lucy said, smiling. Sam scrunched up his nose.
“Smells like someone died.” Sam said. Lucy sighed.
“Guys, I know the last year hasn't been easy, but, I think you're really going to like living in Santa Carla.” Lucy said. The family stopped at a gas station. Sam took his dog, Nanook, out to stretch his legs. Nanook is a Alaskan Malamute, who was extremely protective of Sam and [Y/N].
Lucy was pumping gas into the Rover. [Y/N] was leaning against the side, taking in the action around the gas station. Sam ran back to the car from where he had been looking around, a big smile on his face.
“There's an amusement park right on the beach.” Sam said. Lucy looked over at two runaway teenagers rummaging through a nearby garbage bin for something to eat. [Y/N] sighed and brushed some sweat from her forehead. The California heat was nothing compared to the heat in Arizona. However, that didn't mean that it wasn't hot in Santa Carla. Lucy turned to Sam and [Y/N], handing the two some money.
“Sam, [Y/N], tell those kids to get something to eat.” She said. As the two walked over to the two teens, Michael was talking to a person.
“Any jobs around here?” Michael asked. The person shook his head.
“Nothing legal.” The person said. Sam and [Y/N] handed the two teens the money, which the teens graciously took.
~~~~
A little while later, Lucy was driving up a rocky and dusty winding road. Michael was riding behind them on his Honda motor bike. Lucy pulled up to an old lodge-like funky house. There were totems poles and other trinkets laying around the house. [Y/N] opened the passenger door. The house really hadn’t changed much since she and her brothers had been there last. Sam got out as well, opening the front passenger door. He looked back at Nanook.
“Come on, Nanook.” Sam said. The dog gave a bark before getting out of the car as well. On the porch of the house, they saw a human figure laying there, motionless. The figure in question was Grandpa Emerson, or Grandpa as he preferred to be called.
“Dad? Dad?” Lucy called, the four family members walking up to the porch. [Y/N] frowned.
“Looks like he's dead.” [Y/N] said. Lucy smiled back at her daughter.
“No, he's just a deep sleeper.” Lucy said, turning back to try and wake her father. Sam smiled.
“If he's dead, can we go back to Phoenix?” Sam asked hopefully. [Y/N] glared at Sam and smacked him in the shoulder.
“Ow! What?” Sam asked, looking at his sister. [Y/N] just rolled her eyes. Grandpa opened his eyes and looked up at his three grandchildren.
“Playing dead. And from what I heard, doing a damn good job of it, too.” Grandpa said. Lucy smiled.
“Dad! Oh dad!” She said, leaning down and giving her father a hug. The three siblings shared a look.
[Y/N] grabbed some boxes from the rover, bringing them into the house. She looked around.
“This is a pretty cool place.” She said, looking around. Stuffed animals hung on the walls of the house. Sam looked around, not very convinced.
“Yeah. For The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” He said. Michael looked back at his brother.
“Come on, Sam, give Mom a break.” Michael said. He walked into the living room, setting down some boxes he was carrying. He lifted the dumbbells he had been carrying. Sam looked at his siblings.
“What's wrong with this picture? There's no TV. Have you seen a TV? I haven't seen a TV,” Sam said. [Y/N] set some of the boxes down and rolled her eyes. “You know what it means when there's no TV? No MTV.” Sam continued. [Y/N] scoffed.
“Sammy, we are flat broke.” She said. Outside, Grandpa was helping Lucy unload more boxes.
“Lucy, you're the only woman I ever knew who didn't improve her situation by getting divorced.” Grandpa said. Lucy sighed.
“I know. But a big legal war wasn't going to improve anybody's situation. We've all been through enough. [Y/N], Michael and Sam had leave all of their friends behind,” she said, setting down some boxes. “Anyway, I was raised better than that.” She said.
“I choose this room!” [Y/N] shouted, walking into a large room to the left of the large hallway. Sam groaned.
“Aw! Hey! This was going to be my room!” Sam protested. [Y/N] stuck her tongue out at her brother.
“Ya snooze ya loose, bud.” She said. [Y/N] sighed as she closed the door and set down the boxes she had packed. She started with the box labeled, ‘Posters and Books’. She opened the box and took out the posters of her favorite bands, hanging them up around the room. After putting the posters up, she took out the books she had packed, setting them up on the bookshelf in her room. She then took out a small picture frame. The picture inside was of her and her two best friends in Phoenix. She gently pressed a kiss to the glass frame. “I miss you guys already.” She said quietly to herself. Today was the start of a new chapter for her and her family. A chance at a new start.

DL 190 - ALCO PA-1 at Kansas City, KS por Zach Pumphery Por Flickr: On its way to new owner Genesee Valley Transportation Company is the famous ALCO PA-1 restored by preservationist Doyle McCormack over the past 2 decades in Portland, Oregon. The locomotive began moving east in late April from the PNW on BNSF Railway, arriving at Kansas City early this morning on BNSF Train H PASKCK9 25A, appropriately behind a warbonnet painted Dash-9. In this view, the locomotive is at the "Tall Tower" at BNSF Argentine Yard. The unit is on home rails at this former Santa Fe facility. This engine was built for the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway by the American Locomotive Company in 12-1948 as ATSF 62-L, builder number 76541 wearing the famous red and silver Warbonnet paint scheme leading famous trains such as the "El Capitan" between Chicago and California. On 4-5-67, the Santa Fe retired the unit and sold it to Morrison–Knudsen in Boise, ID. 4 Ex-ATSF units including this one were rebuilt by MK with the "PA-4" classification, for the Delaware and Hudson on 8-11-75, with this one becoming D&H 18. Under D&H ownership, they were used by Amtrak for the "Adirondack", and later by the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority hauling commuter trains around Boston. The last PA's to operate in the United States, they were sold in 1978 to the NdeM, where this one ran as DH-18 until 1981. All 4 of those PA's remain, 2 at the National Museum of Mexican Railways, and 2 in the US. In 2000, McCormack of American Freedom Train and SP 4449 fame worked with the Smithsonian Institution to bring two of these engines back to the United States. What was left of the 16 and 18 came home on flat cars to Oregon. Doyle bought a set of trucks in Canada to replace the ones that were missing when it arrived from Mexico, and the hulk of a BC Rail M420B for its 251 prime mover, electrical cabinet, and traction motors. 16 later wound up at the Museum of the American Railroad in Texas where it is steadily being restored to its Santa Fe appearance. McCormack's father worked for the NYC&STL, better known as the Nickel Plate Road, and his first cab ride when he was 12 was aboard the real NKP 190. Doyle later worked for the N&W in Ohio and an operator, eventually becoming a fireman before moving to the Pacific Northwest in the 1970's. He hired out on the SP, worked freight an passenger service for Amtrak, and has retired from the UP, all the while being heavily involved with the 4449 organization. When he restored the PA it was only natural for him to restore it to an NKP appearance, which took the better part of 2 decades to complete. The engine traveled to Spencer, NC in 2014 for the "Streamliners at Spencer" event featuring a plethora of locomotives from that era. Now in his 80's, it was announced in March 2023 that he had sold the engine to GVT after years of talks. The engine will be put into excursion service by GVT and will pull excursions in Northeastern Pennsylvanian, including former D&H track the engine ran in revenue service. Assigned "DL 190" for movement to GVT's Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad in Pennsylvania, it retains its Nickel Plate Road paint scheme. The real 190 was built in March 1948 and carried builder number 75457. For what was regarded as one of the most beautiful locomotive designs ever built, not many of these were preserved, and half of those units suffered what had been a grim fate for decades. It's nice to have a few left to enjoy. Locomotive: DL 190 5-3-23 Kansas City, KS

Tumblr media
Broadway Thru a Keyhole (1933) ~  A bevy of costumed chorines - including an uncredited Lucille Ball, Susan Fleming and Ann Sothern - wheel around a giant nightclub stage to the tune of “When You Were a Girl on a Scooter (And I Was the Boy on the Bike)”. This was Lucille Ball’s second film. It also featured Charles Lane and Walter Winchell.
Tumblr media

Tumblr media
“The Lost Pilot” (1951) ~ Pepito the Clown (Pepito Perez) was a good friend of Desi Arnaz. In the long-unaired pilot episode for “I Love Lucy” Pepito rides the world’s smallest bicycle, a routine that was part of his stage act.
Tumblr media
“The Audition” (1951) ~ When the unaired pilot’s script was recycled into the regular series, Pepito was replaced by Buffo the Clown (Pat Moran) who injures himself trying to do a handstand on the handlebars of a (full-sized) bicycle. Resting at the Ricardo’s apartment, he tries the stunt again and careens through the kitchen door. His replacement is Lucy as ‘The Professor’, although she doesn’t ride the bike!
Tumblr media
“Lucy’s Show-Biz Swan Song” (1952) ~ When the episode was running short, Desi Arnaz invited Pepito to do some of his act from the unaired pilot, including the world’s smallest bicycle routine.
Tumblr media
The tiny bike (one of two) is six inches wide by ten inches high, manufactured by Anderson, Melbourne, Australia, in 1928. It was at one time entered into Ripley’s Believe It or Not. Pepito was in Australia in 1928 for an extended vaudeville tour, and he must have ordered this bicycle at that time. It is now one of the artifacts in the Lucy-Desi Museum’s collection. A special case was been constructed to exhibit it.
Tumblr media
“Lucy Fakes Illness” (1953) ~ To convince Ricky she is going through her second childhood, Lucy rides a tricycle through the living room!
Tumblr media
“The Ricardo’s Change Apartments” (1953) ~ Lucy fills the apartment to the brim with toys and baby items to convince Ricky they need a bigger apartment. Among the explosion of tot props is a tricycle and a bicycle!
Tumblr media

Tumblr media
“Lucy’s Bicycle Trip” (1956) ~ When leaving Italy for France, Lucy has her heart set on biking across the border, but meets some resistance from Ricky and the Mertzes.
LUCY: “You wouldn’t climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower. You wouldn’t ride the ski lift in Switzerland. You won’t swim in the Mediterranean and now you don’t want to bicycle along the Italian Riviera.”
Tumblr media
The bicycles used in the episode were provided by Arnold Schwinn and Company in return for a screen credit.
Tumblr media
“The I Love Lucy Christmas Show” (1956) ~ Little Ricky gets a new bike for Christmas!
Tumblr media
“Lucy is a Kangaroo for a Day” (1962) ~ To buy her son a new bicycle for his birthday, Lucy takes a job at a law office - until things ‘unravel’.  Her knit dress becomes entangled in the spokes of the bicycle and unravels, causing her to have to wear a kangaroo costume to complete the job.
Tumblr media
A carefree Jerry (Jimmy Garrett) rides his new bicycle through the living room!
Tumblr media
A receipt from a Hollywood bicycle shop for the purchase of a bicycle basket and bike rack. Dated December 22, 1962, it was signed by Lucy. It is not known if the items turned up on screen or in what show / episode.

Tumblr media
“Lucy Helps Craig Get a Drivers License” (1969) ~ Lucy tags along on Craig’s road test. Needless to say the back seat driver frustrates and angers the instructor (Jack Gilford). When he learns that her license has expired, he says that after he's through with her she'll be lucky to drive a tricycle in Griffith Park!
Tumblr media
“Lucy and Wally Cox” (1970) ~ Wally and Lucy are security guards at a toy warehouse that is robbed at gunpoint. There is a tricycle on the shelf behind the robbers (Gil Perkins and X Brands).
Tumblr media
“Lucy and Lawrence Welk” (1970) ~ Lucy sends her visiting friend Viv on the  Universal Studios tour, where she is excited to have seen Doris Day’s bicycle!  All this is reported by Viv and neither Day nor her bicycle appear on screen. Toys I Had As A Kid #875 Little Big Man
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the early 1970's, I was lucky enough as a child to go abroad on a "package holiday" to Italy. I travelled with Mum, Dad and Dad's teammates and their families as the trip was a mixture of sport and holiday ( my Dad played baseball (yes! British baseball!)
My recollections of the trip are fragmented, re-enforced by the vast amount of photos my Mum took during the trip, but it's the toys I returned with from Italy that stuck with me, over the years. A large plastic military vehicle, a tin plate space ray gun and a large battery powered toy chopper motor cycle. The motor cycle had lots of flashing lights, loud sound effects as the bike travelled in a straight line, every so often it popped a wheelie. Fun while the batteries lasted! But the star of the show was bought in the airport gift shop on the journey home.
The "Little Big Man Alpine Adventure action figure set!
A recall the excitement of seeing the tiny action figure, lots of equipment and even a comic book inside! I was under strict instructions NOT to open the packaging until we arrived home, I can still recall the bitter sweet journey back from the airport.
Once home, the excitement of having a Little Big Man soon turned to frustration, for an under ten year old me. It might have been a big seller in Italy but no toy shop in my city stocked the action figure range. Then there was the issue regarding the scale!
As a child I was obsessed with having the correct scale for my toys, be it Matchbox cars, toy soldiers etc.
I had action men ( GI Joe) and other figures but non in the size of the little Italian dude.
Stuck with one outfit, and a single SLR rifle it soon fell from favour.
Then the following November, the UK TV Xmas toy commercials started. And who should pop up?
Yup! Little big man baby!
Oh the joy! Palitoy, the company behind action man was pushing the little guy big time, lots of sets to collect, weapons and uniform packs as well .
That Christmas Santa gave me the " Diver Adventure Set". So I now Ihad two figures!
And that would be the extent of my collection. Our local toy shop eventually stocked the pocket money weapon and accessory packs. But the full adventure sets were as rare as rocking horse poo! I recall the accessories were very brittle, which resulted in many broken items
The smaller scale sadly wouldn't catch on in the UK until the Star Wars Movie range, Action Man being the big seller.
I would look through the various sets  in the catalogue, making up scenarios for future playtimes, sadly never played as the range soon became hard to find, lots of sets disposed of in sales at Woolies.
The one set I really wanted was the Royal mounted police set. Unfortunately I'd never see it, but my redeemer came a few years later As a member of the Action Man Club, if you collected enough if the free stamps you cut out of the packaging, you could send away for The Mountie uUniform! Which I did!
And it was exactly what I longed for... only alot Bigger!
If you're interested in finding out more about little big man The site above is full of information !
I am always surprised when I see a photo of a long forgotten toy, game or TV series, that rush of endorphins when you ride those comforting waves of nostalgia. Hope you too share that sensation.
Till the next time
Seethee later!

The Transportation System in Los Angeles, California
Los Angeles, California, navigates a sprawling urban landscape through an extensive and evolving transportation system. The city has a car-centric culture and is dominated by a network of highways and freeways, including the iconic Interstate 405. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) provides bus and rail services connecting various neighborhoods, including the Metro Rail and Metro Bus lines. The Metro Rail comprises multiple lines, such as the Red and Purple Lines, offering an alternative to the notorious traffic. Rideshare services and a growing network of bike lanes contribute to mobility options. While the city continues investing in public transit expansion, challenges persist due to the vast geographic expanse and the reliance on automobiles in Los Angeles.
Santa Monica Pier
The Santa Monica Pier, an iconic symbol of Southern California, beckons visitors with a vibrant mix of seaside amusements and stunning coastal views. Stretching into the Pacific Ocean, the pier boasts a classic amusement park featuring a solar-powered Ferris wheel, a historic carousel, and various family-friendly rides. Beyond the thrill of the attractions, the pier offers picturesque views of the coastline and serves as a lively gathering spot for locals and tourists alike. The bustling boardwalk hosts street performers, eateries, and shops, creating a lively atmosphere. Whether enjoying a ride on the Ferris wheel or simply relishing the sea breeze, the Santa Monica Pier is a timeless destination blending entertainment, relaxation, and scenic beauty.
Learning Cursive in School, Long Scorned as Obsolete, is Now the Law in California
Learning cursive writing holds importance beyond its aesthetic value, fostering cognitive and developmental benefits. Cursive mastery enhances fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and dexterity, which are crucial for overall cognitive development, especially in younger learners. It engages different brain regions than print writing, promoting neurological connections. Cursive proficiency can improve reading skills as individuals often find it easier to transition between print and cursive texts. Moreover, historical documents and personal notes may be written in cursive, making it a valuable skill for comprehending and preserving cultural heritage. While digital communication dominates, cursive remains relevant, ensuring individuals can read and produce handwritten materials, maintaining a connection to tradition, and enhancing communication skills.

Easy like sunda morning! #harleydavidson #shorts
This is another one of those hard knock kicker 5150s and our son looked at the movie Lost boys just wondering what those motorcycles are considered dirt bikes and they're real husky like Husqvarna KTM mako ATK and gas gas and big CC and they built it out felt it out and he's wondering if it's the Templar and we looked at it and they're not. And the harassing him and one of those stick your head in there so our son says you're in Santa Monica near the real vampires and you'll see that you're making a mistake and he got paranoid and said they can walk in like us and he was like the whole time he's got his ass handed to him and died and fell off the bridge some of them died a Mac was going to die no he died and got brain damage thought he was invincible and could float and all sorts of stuff and they're all going to die because nobody would survive that fall and Jim Morrison fell and he put his arms in front of his head and it saves him from getting some massive massive trauma and Matt did too the rest of them died fully no joke they're on drugs that's what that booze is our son put out. And he does a pretty soon keeps falling and those motorcycles are the x-pro Templar and that's what they are and they bought a whole bunch and they are massively powerful it's like 20 horsepower for 250 but on these guys a little huge because it's a big bike but it looks kind of normal and Jim Morrison is almost to our sun size and you can see it looks kind of small almost but on the others it looks gigantic and it makes a huge throaty sound when you're light it makes it bigger noise and he's hurting and see it before it's almost like the bike is running at half power without strain on the motor it sounds weird these super cars do it all the time when you go and slow and they're burning too rich that's what it is and it started laughing just now cuz they're teeny and they're using the Chinese bike and it's a stolen bike so they I think it's great and it's going to get real popular right now.
The reason they're riding their hard knock kicker 5150 around is they're saying that they're supposed to have 51% and they don't and they learned and they should know better and it's back to hard times which is why the hard knock was made the people are poor and they want to prove it and show people this is right we're not doing well and really there are 40 households in the neighborhood 15 returns and they have lost about 20 people out of those 15 too and the next round it was more and that's piss for 40 is bad and out of the 300 20 houses are not them anymore it's minority morlock and some pseudo empire and that's about it but it's not that many but it is increasing slowly and the others are generals that are fighting one house is almost empty a clan is almost gone. And that's bja side. We are beginning today. We are also going to start taking over the expo Templar and we're going to name it something else that name is disgusting and weird. And the motorcycle remained Chinese and they're buying tons of them right now to try and keep the factories and usually goes the other way but orders went up it's almost 700 billion that's right not a million it's 700 billion that's huge. And Chow fat and his bike are reaching massive heights it's not as powerful but it really moves it's got about 15 horsepower and it's smaller and it goes fast and that's what 250 is used to be even at Sun knows it they started making them too big and it goes really really fast for a Chinese bike it's about 120 miles an hour with street tires and he's selling like madness and open tons of factories and with salaries even make two trillion a week this bike is released no but it's been around but after mentioning it once it's shot up to 500 million and it's really selling fast it's big and they can ride it and it's good for the trails and bumps and whippet news whereas Chow fat it's okay on those it's just a little smaller but people want to ride it on trails and roadways that are and pass I didn't want to have to stress the whole time but in combat you need the big one and they're buying it to try and attack us and they can't get enough
Olympus
We are on top of yes they took over
Thor Freya this is a massive day folks these pseudo empire is losing everything you're down to around $120 million ships and the warlocks are down from $800 million to about 100 million ships but these pseudo will lock empire lost almost 1.1 billion shifts within the past few days and looking for people to blame and these warlock are to blame and they've got big mouths and won't shut up and they're going to get hit

A Guide to Buying Used Cars in Los Angeles
Tumblr media
Los Angeles, often known as the City of Angels, is a sprawling metropolis with a diverse and vibrant population. With its vast network of highways and boulevards, owning a car in this city is often a necessity. While many opt for brand-new vehicles, buying a used car in Los Angeles can be a smart and cost-effective choice. In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of buying a used car in the City of Angels.
1. Determine Your Budget:
Before you start browsing for used cars, it's essential to set a budget. Consider not only the purchase price but also ongoing expenses like insurance, fuel, and maintenance. Be realistic about what you can afford to avoid financial strain.
2. Research Makes and Models:
Los Angeles has a diverse range of used cars available, from compact cars for city driving to SUVs and trucks for those who need more space. Research different makes and models to find the one that suits your lifestyle and needs best. Consider factors like fuel efficiency, reliability, and resale value.
3. Look for Reputable Dealerships:
There are numerous used car dealerships throughout Los Angeles. To ensure a smooth buying experience, choose a reputable dealership with a history of customer satisfaction. You can also consider certified pre-owned (CPO) programs offered by major automakers, which provide additional warranties and assurances of quality.
4. Check Vehicle History:
Once you've found a car that interests you, obtain its Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and run a vehicle history report. This report will reveal crucial information about the car's past, including accidents, title status, and maintenance records. Services like Carfax and AutoCheck can provide these reports.
5. Inspect and Test Drive:
Always inspect the car in person and take it for a test drive. Look for signs of wear and tear, and have a trusted mechanic inspect it for potential issues. Pay attention to how the car handles on Los Angeles' busy streets and highways.
6. Negotiate the Price:
Don't be afraid to negotiate the price. Research the car's market value and be prepared to make a fair offer. Dealerships and private sellers may be willing to negotiate to close the deal.
7. Complete the Necessary Paperwork:
Once you've agreed on a price, complete the necessary paperwork. This typically includes the bill of sale, title transfer, and any additional documentation required by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
8. Register and Insure Your Car:
Before hitting the road, make sure your used car is properly registered and insured. Los Angeles has specific requirements for insurance coverage, so be sure to comply with local laws.
9. Enjoy Your New Ride:
With all the paperwork in order, you're ready to enjoy your used car in Los Angeles. Explore the city's diverse neighborhoods, from the beaches of Santa Monica to the urban vibe of Downtown LA, all in the comfort of your own vehicle.
Buying a used car in Los Angeles can be a rewarding experience when done right. By following these steps and taking your time to make an informed decision, you can find the perfect used car to navigate the city's bustling streets.
