Additional Owl House/ Gargoyles AU Info: OCs

Here we are with some more information regarding the AU, only this will time it will be focusing on the 3 OCs whose pics I posted a little while ago since I didn't think anyone wanted the bios jammed onto their pics.

Palisman: A Wyvern named Wisteria

Magic Specialty: Healing Magic, but is a master of Ice Magic and has created a unique spell of burning blue fire that inflicts awful frostbite and severe necrosis on anyone it comes into contact with...

Friends/Associates: Eda Clawthorne (Best friend and drinking buddy) Raine Whispers (A close friend who in spite of falling out of contact with, Rhiannon still holds them in high regards) Shaelyn Silverstone (Apprentice and Ward) Warden Wrath (Occasional Employer) Fiadh Stonespire (Grandmother figure/deceased)

Background: Rhiannon was born into one of the larger clans of the last name 'Stonespire' that still chose to follow the Gargoyle Way of communally raising their children and protecting their estate and other landholdings. They were also extremely prideful of their skilled members they contributed to the Construction Coven. From a young age, Rhiannon was considered strange due to her shunning of the clans expectations and rather developed an interest in becoming a member of the Healing Coven. Although in her youth she was particularly bad at anything involving healing, having turned several small animals inside out in her attempts to mend their injuries. Her lack of skill and stubborn pursuit of her dreams led her to be alienated from nearly all of the clan who began to treat her as an annoyance if not an embarrassment. The only individuals who showed her any affection were an older female Gargoyle named Fiadh, who Rhiannon viewed as her grandmother and Saoirse, the only rookery sister who cared about her and supported her goals.

Her fierce dedication to studying and mastering healing magics eventually paid off and she not only excelled, but grew to master every healing spell and even learned a myriad of techniques all aimed at helping others. Of course on the flip side of this, through her studies of how to heal she also learned how to inflict immense pain on others. Knowing to attack certain points where an opponent is weak in order to defeat them in a brawl, as it seemed to Rhiannon that most witches and demons had forgotten how to fight without using magic and thus a physical fight is something she can use to her advantage... And she got into fights A LOT.

When she finished her education and applied to the Healing Coven she found that she was denied membership due to her clan contacting the head of the Coven and warning him against letting her join due to her poor skills as a healer... As they had not paid attention to her enough to know of her improvement and eventual mastery of the art.

Denied her dream, humiliated by her so called clan and filled with an anger that could not be put into words, Rhiannon lost her temper and broke the jaw of the Coven Head and fled. Stating she was now going to live her life as a Wild Witch and never give a damn about anyone else ever again. She was promptly disowned by her clan, which was fine with her. She gave herself the last name of Frostflame after the spell she had created and has become synonymous with her very existence.

Personality: Rhiannon is a bit of a contradiction. At first she comes off as cold, calculating and selfish. She is extremely sarcastic and tends to believe that someone 'Can get away with anything, as long as they are useful to someone else.' Which is how she, as a Wild Witch, doesn't have a bounty on her head nor any warrents for her arrest. As she is a freelance healer whom people come to see when they either can't afford to go to the Healing Coven, or do not want there to be a record of the visit... But also members of both the Emperor's Coven and town guards bet on her in the underground fights and thus overlook that she is not in any coven... She is also not above blackmail and is currently holding a massive gambling debt over the head of Coven Head Darius. As further insurance to keep from being arrested or have the Covens forcing her to join.

However... If someone truly gets to know her, Rhiannon is a very devoted, kind hearted person who has been so burnt by the world she no longer desires to be a part of it. She has sympathy for those less fortunate than her and does genuinely wish to help the people who seek her out in need of help. She has an special soft spot in her heart for kids. Especially since in the depths of her ice cold heart she truly longs for a family. This is somewhat evident in how she took in Shaelyn and has done her best to watch out for the younger gargoyle. However her own bias's can be detrimental to the relationships she has... As she has repeatedly told Shaelyn to forget about finding out what happened to her family and missing memories. Arguing that if she forgot them there's probably a good reason for it. Which has led to a rift between her and her apprentice.

Nicknames and Aliases: Shae, (Default Nickname) Lyn-Lyn (From Luz)

Age: Roughly 15

Palisman: None at the moment

Magic Specialty: Is attending both the Plant track and the Oracle track in Hexside. As she has unusual visions... both while she is awake and in her sleep. These visions often warn of dark events yet to happen or strange unknown things from a past she cannot remember. While not being taught healing at Hexside, Shaelyn is receiving training in healing magics straight from her guardian Rhiannon. Due to the talent of her mentor, she doesn't believe she could learn more from the school in that subject. As for the plant track... She is in that to both hang out with her friend Willow but also to help with Rhiannons garden which tends to grow out of control more often than not. As well as helping maintain the health of the tree Rhiannon's house is currently sitting in...

Friends/Associates: Willow Park, Gus Porter and Luz Noceda (Best Friends) Rhiannon (Guardian)

Background: Little is known about Shaelyns past beyond her name. Try as she might the young Gargoyle cannot remember much of her life prior to her being found in the wrecked hull of a ship that was brought ashore by a bad storm. While she has 'Shadows of Memories' she cannot remember where exactly she was from or even the faces of her parents. Rhiannon found the girl when she was looking through the wreck and happened upon her buried underneath several heavy cargo boxes with a broken wing and a very bloody head wound. Rhiannon took her back to her home, deep in the woods and healed her. Upon realizing that the girl had no family and no memories and that she would be left in probably one of the orphanages on the Isles, Rhiannon took her in as her apprentice and Shae has been living with her for the last five years.

Although Shaelyn is in awe of her mentor and greatly admires and respects her, she often feels like a burden. Their relationship is not like that of a mother and daughter, but is probably closer to that of sisters. Or of an older sister attempting to be a mother to a younger sibling in the absence of any parents... Shae also has gone through several different means to try and find out what happened to her family... but her search has led to nothing but dead ends. It doesn't help that Rhiannon often tells her to let the subject of her family drop as she would not have forgotten them if they were close... And how she might not like what she finds if she ever does find anything.

Nonetheless, Rhiannon has done her best to take care of Shae and has enrolled her at Hexside, so she can learn other magics that Rhiannon cannot teach. It was here that Shaelyn came across the sight of Amity and Boscha bullying Willow... And using the other skills Rhyan has taught her, Shae started throwing punches and beat up both of the bullies and warned them to leave Willow alone lest they receive another beating... This was how she initially met Willow and later on Gus and the three formed a very close friendship. Some time later Luz would be introduced and Shae grows to be just as protective of her as she is of her other two friends.

Personality: Shaelyn is quite friendly and outgoing with her friends and is the first one to come to the defense of a kid that is getting bullied. Due to her training with Rhiannon she is actually pretty good at fighting physically... Unfortunately in earlier times this put Shae into direct conflict with Amity as she was often quite mean to Willow... Unaware of Amity's true nature, let alone the bullying she received from her family. Like her mentor, Shae can hold a grudge and has a long memory of people who wrong her and her friends... Only unlike Rhiannon she is more willing to give someone a second chance or allow them to make amends... This lets her and Amity to eventually become friends... Although she and Boscha will never get along and Shae will continue to administer black eyes whenever the other girl starts looking for a fight. But when it comes to complete strangers, Shaelyn can be very wary... As was evident when she and the others were looking at booths set up by the Covens for recruitment and she was approached by Hunter as the Golden Guard. Now Hunter, with his very lackluster social skills was attempting to just talk nicely and give Shae a few compliments... Unfortunately for him he came off as aloof and mocking her. This resulted in two punches to his helm and three into his ribs. The blows to the mask dented it so badly it became stuck and the blows to his ribs made it difficult to breathe... Resulting in him passing out and needing to be carried away by Steve.

Undoubtedly when she learns more about Hunter, she will be remorseful for kicking his ass.

Nicknames: Saer (General Nickname) The Glass Maker, The Crystal Witch, Firebender and Wannabe-Matchmaker (From Rhiannon)

Age: Same as Rhiannon

Palisman: A unique serpent with four eyes and a golden moth shaped hood named Amaranth

Magic Specialty: Construction magic with the specialty of glassmaking and crystal working. She is also capable of using fire spells in a fight.

Friends/Associates: Rhiannon (Rookery sister and best friend) Eda Clawthorne (Friend) Lilith Clawthorne (Friend) Shaelyn (Niece-figure)

Background: Saoirse was born into the same clan and was even from the same clutch as Rhiannon, born with the family name of Stonespire. However unlike her Rookery sister, Saoirse was considered to be one of the most magically gifted gargoyles that had ever been born into the clan. She displayed immense talent in the construction track and was even able to master a very difficult branch of the track that dealt with glassmaking and crystal working. In spite of the heaps of praise and accolades she received amidst her family, she developed a close friendship with Rhyan and was always deeply off-put when she witnessed how she was ostracized by other members of their clan. Still upon completing her schooling she was quickly brought into the Construction Coven and was even taken under the wing of the Coven Head for a time.

But when Rhiannon was cast out from their clan, Saoirse was livid. One of the few times anyone could truly remember her getting angry. She was pretty much told by the clan leader that Rhiannon was a disgrace and that Saer was always special and brought a great deal of respect and admiration to their entire clan with her talent... so she needed to stop defending that lost soul and continue to move forward and possibly become the next Coven Head...

Saoirse formally cut ties with the clan right then and there.

She gave herself a new name and while still formally a member of the Construction Coven, she chose to renounce any Coven status she had an instead opened her own business. She did so with the blessing of the Coven Head, who remains her good friend to this day.

When it comes to her wayward Rookery sister, Saer deeply worries about Rhyan and would love to see her find a place in the world rather than trying to live outside it. Although she knows that the stubborn Wild Witch is unlikely to ever change her ways without reason...

Personality: Unlike Rhiannon, Saer is a bubbly, friendly and outgoing individual who always looks for the good in people... In fact she is probably one of the few people who believes there just might be some good inside the Emperor's heart. (When she voiced this Rhiannon laughed so hard she swallowed the cigarette she was smoking.) Due to this kind nature she has, Rhyan frequently worries about her being taken advantage of... Fortunately Saoirse also is quick witted and can pretty quickly tell if someone is trying to pull a fast one on her. She also has a weird gift for matchmaking, as she can just tell when two people are right for each other. It's something that Rhiannon frequently teases her about.

...Until she finds one stranger who seems to be just perfect for the Wild Witch...

Le Comte de Saint Germaine: Comte was the was the first to find Claire as he walked the streets of Paris. After some hesitation she explained everything that had happened and led her here. He immediately took her under his wing, letting her stay in the mansion as if he was his own child and along with Leonardo became her tutor. Each taught her different skills, languages and good manners to fit in the society of Paris, but never allowed her to forget her homeland’s heritage. When she turned 18, Comte sent her to Edinburgh to study botanology and medicine and four years after she returns to the mansion to stay by his side as a way to thank him and repay him for his kindness and love. She adores Thyme and likes to play and give her treats as often as the Count allows it.

Leonardo Da Vinci: Claire met Leonardo the first day Comte brought her to the mansion. He lent her his shoulder and comforted her along with his old friend, became a doting friend and tutor for her that would proudly watch her grow and find her way to happiness again. She won’t admit it aloud, but Leonardo was actually her teenage crush. He, of course, knew it from the beginning and often teasingly offered to pose in nude for her as practice (in hindsight, she regrets not taking that chance). Even after spending many years apart their playful banter hasn’t changed. They still keep each other company, taking strolls while talking in the City of Light. She have tried to clean his room after she tripped on his anatomy books but soon gave up on the idea. She is often found cuddling and napping with Lumiére under the gazebo or in the rocking chair on the porch.

Vincent Van Gogh: She loves this ray of sunshine more than anything (who doesn’t). They often walk together in the forest or in town and brainstorm on ideas and impressions. He encourages her to not misunderstand his brother's words for aversion, but still watches them fondly when they bicker. She absolutely loves his work and admires his skills and takes up his offer to paint together when she has the time. Whenever the Dutch painter lacks inspiration or feels gloomy, she will sing to him or tell him a story to help his imagination stir. She always cares a small pouch full of nuts and berries for Brush, whom she finds absolutely adorable.

Theodorus Van Gogh: From the first time he saw her he was entranced by her unusual appearance and he, admittedly, struck her as quite a bonnie lad...until he opened his mouth to speak. They instantaneously began to bicker thanks to Theo’s acrimonious mannerisms and Claire’s quick temper. Despite this she was curious about his vocation, never having met an art dealer before and what impressed her the most was his passion. She slowly began to see the man behind the rough facade and was drawn into the sweetness he hid beneath his hard exterior, a side she witness in his time with Vincent and King.

Arthur Conan Doyle: She found him attractive from the very beginning but the writer’s frivolous and indecently provocative ways filled her with dismay. She decided to keep a distance from him but was soon quite intrigued by his work. Both his writing skill and wit caught her interest, but it was also their common homeland that brought them closer and closer as the time passed by. Arthur invites her to the pub quite often, where they usually end up singing Irish and Scottish songs and teasing Theo out of his wits. After a while she begins to call him “Sassenach” as a word of endearment only used for him, betraying her growing fondness for the mystery writer. She enjoys taking long walks with him and Vic and talk about books and cases of mystery for Arthur’s new work.

Napoleon Bonaparte: They became friends rather quickly, thanks to Napoleon’s charisma and charm. She asked Napoleon to train her in combat and swordsmanship in order for her to improve her skills but they often cook together while they talk about history and their everyday shenanigans. She wants to help him enjoy this second chance in life, ease his troubles and insecurities about his life as a demi-vampire. They tease each other relentlessly, often causing a ruckus -much to Sebastian and Isaac’s dismay-. She’s very fond of Jupiter and enjoys to watch his encounters with her familiar, an albino raven named Glinda.

Jeanne D’ Arc: Although it took time for Jean to open up to her, he and Claire became close friends as time passed. They both bear a harsh past on their backs, and that helped to deepen their bond quickly. She was always saddened by his story, but doesn’t allow herself to pity him. She admires and holds great love and respect for him, standing at his side when his demons get the better of him. After much nagging, she convinced the soldier to spar and ride with her and Napoleon more often. She really loves Shelly and the two of them play often with the little cub in the garden.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: “You are too loud” he said, “You are too rude” she replied. That was the very first conversation between Mozart and Claire. She couldn’t believe there could be someone ruder than Theo, but she was wrong. It took plenty of time for them to connect on any level, both avoiding contact at all costs. Music was the bridge that finally brought them together, she enjoys listening to him play the piano, while Mozart enjoys hearing her sing, although he won’t admit it. their common friendship with Jean became another linking factor for them. She enjoys watching him being happy drunk, and will often teases him about it. The musician complains that Claire’s familiar is a bad influence on Schelm as they’re often seen together but she says he acts like an overprotective dad just to anger him further.

Dazai Osamu: It didn’t take too long for Claire to see behind his happy facade. She became fond of him quickly and finds him endearing and funny but she can’t help to wish she could help him with the sadness that he hides behind his skilfully made-up smiles. She will often join him and Arthur when they tease Isaac or the other residents due to her mischievous nature. She is very interested in his work as an author as well as his culture, which is more than foreign for her and just enjoys talking to him as she silently admires his wit. She finds Bunta absolutely adorable, gives her treats and talks to her often when tends to the garden.

Isaac Newton: Although confused at first, the more she got to know Isaac the more she became fond of him. Poking fun at him with Arthur and Dazai and aggravating him never fails to put a smile on her face, albeit she knows when to stop and leave him be. She likes to listen to him talk about physics (although she cannot fully comprehend them) and joins him to stargaze when the night sky is clear. They often stroll in the city centre with Napoleon and watches them teach children at the alleyway. His clumsy way of showing his feelings make him all the more delightful in her eyes and the way he gets flustered so easily makes her eager to tease him. She finds little Harry adorable keeps an eye on him when he’s free to roam the garden of the mansion.

William Shakespeare: Although she is a huge fan of his work and no matter how much respect he has for the bard she remains highly suspicious of him. She is polite and friendly should he ever visit but she doesn’t have an ounce of trust for him and keeps her distance. Finds his bunny terribly cute, though.

Sebastian: She is quite fond of him, finds his quirks and his deadpan humour hilarious. She really respects his work around the mansion and admires his patience. They share mutual respect for Le Comte as well as the same curiosity and passion for history, thus if she coaxes any information from the residents she will transfer it to him (on her own volition she says). She loves to help him around with the housework and take some weight off his shoulders. Usually calls him “Bash”. She likes Rotte a lot and her knowledge of farm animals has been a huge help for Sebastian, especially when the little “Fräulein” needs trimming.

Yes, he’s highly inspired by me lol

I’m actually genderfluid, I would say while Saoirse is inspired by my feminine side, Saz is my masculine side. I’ve already created a lot of stories about him, most of them I just adapt for him to fit in the lore he is in. This one is based on the story where he is a member of the Lafontelle family.

Saz has a huge crush on Valdemar and has a really hard time trying to hide his desire for them, he often feels anxious around them and had been wanting to ask them out since he got to the palace. Sometimes he just wanted them to tie him on the tables and play with him as they please.

Family and childhood

Saz was born in the Fitzgerald family, twin brother of Saoirse Fitzgerald, son of Maeve and Aiden Fitzgerald, two important members of the family.

The Fitzgerald family was part of the Alumina clan, a coven of witches blessed on their crown chackras by light spirits, granting powers of clarevoyance and really strong connections with the spiritual realm. The more power they have in their crown chackra, silver white locks start to appear on their hair.

The Fitzgeralds were really conservative and stern, one of the most traditional families of the clan, they had a name to preserve.

Saz already knew he was transgender since his early teens, and was really curious about the dark magic his family condemned so much.

Saoirse was really worried and, instead of asking “her sister” about what whas happening, she told their mother about how strangely “she” was acting.

Their parents then searched on his room and found not only his journals and male clothes, but also books of dark magic. He was 13 by that time.

As a punishment, his father took his powers away and obligated him to relearn magic from the beginning, along with rigid and cruel rules, such as forbidding him from leaving the house and obligating him to use certain clothes chosen by his mother, who dressed him every morning.

When he completed 14 years old, and wasn’t allowed to celebrate his own birthday, as part of the punishment. Feeling abandoned, completely desperate, he ran away from home that night. He regretted it by the morning, but it was too late to go back.

The family temple was hidden by a glamour, that could only be taken down by a spell he couldn’t cast anymore. He was lost in the city, homeless and lonely.

Perfice and the Lafontelles

By the time Saz was homeless, Perfice was visiting his city, searchging for special magical grapes to make wine. They crossed paths a couple of times, until she got curious and decided to try and talk to him.

It was long since Perfice last had a deal with a human and ate a soul. In the beginning of their relationship, it was all just a game for her. She promised giving him everything he wanted until he turned 21, and his soul would be hers. It was hard for him to accept, but his starving stomach and the idea of having his life back spoke louder.

She protected him, supported him, and taught him the magic simple humans are able to practice. It was nothing compared to the power he had with the blessing of the spirits, but it was good to cast magic again. She also supported him a lot about his gender questions and sexuality.

By the day he turned 21, Perfice was supposed to eat his soul. But after practically raising a kid since his teens, protecting him as her own child, she developed a feeling of motherhood towards him, and he felt the same for her. She just couldn’t end that.

She wasn’t obligated to eat his soul, it was simply hers. She could do whatever she wanted with it. So, instead, she bound his soul to her magical core, granting him immortality from aging, and adopted him as her son.

A new life

Being now a new member of the Lafontelles, Saz couldn’t even remember his old family anymore. All he could think of were his new opportunities of knowledge and power to become the sorcerer he always wanted to be, and enjoyed his new family who loved him.

Now he had the right to use the family ring and necklace, that granted him some of Perfice’s powers. And being close to Perfice, and studying the occult arts, he couls now join The Antumbra.

The Antumbra is the fraternity that Perfice, Feibbis and other members of the family participated. It was a group that welcomed “any creature that wanders in the darkness”, with the intention of sharing knowledge, power and connections.

Saz was a natural. He passed the tests to enter the fraternity with barely no effort and started making really good friends and learning new things.

It was by that time he officially chose the name “Saz” for his social name. His first guide and teacher in the fraternity, Liara, gave him this nickname. In her hometown’s old dialect, “Saz” was the word for “gracious”.

The need for something more

In The Antumbra, after reaching the first level, the member must choose a path and an interest area, and look for a new teacher to guide them until the second and third levels. The teacher can be from outside the fraternity.

By the time, he was reading necromancy and medicine books, out of curiosity and thirst for knowledge. He wondered if necromancy could be used along with science to improve medicine and save lives.

When he had the idea to start studying medicine, he started having this weird dreams.

It was only him. Alone in the woods, sometimes in the shore, sometimes in the middle of city. Naked. Skyclad, actually. Submerged in an endless night. It was only him and his only company was the moon. No… Moons. There were two of them. Two gigantic bright red moons on the night sky.

And to understand why that was happening, we need to go back a few years, when he was 19, back in the day when his deal with Perfice was still going on.

After thinking a lot about it, he finally decided he wanted to take his breasts off. from a long long time, Perfice was friends with Valdemar. She then asked them for help, and they offered themselves to perform the mastectomy.

As soon as Saz arrived the dungeons and met eyes with Valdemar, he was already blushing and didn’t know where to put his face. There was something in their intimidating tall body and sadistic look that was… Alluring?

When he started having those dreams, he finally decided he wanted to study necromancy and biology. Perfice thought it would be a good idea to ask Valdemar to take him as their apprentice, since they already knew each other and the doctor was so strongly connected to death.

Of course Valdemar noticed Saz had a crush on them, it was actually kind of obvious. And they didn’t really care in the beginning, they were very professional and serious about the lessons. But after knowing him better, they couldn’t help but feel attracted too, Saz deserved his name.

He was not only gracious and studious, but he was also different from the other doctors when witnessing Valdemar’s cruel and macabre methods. He was curious, thirsty for knowledge, always taking notes and making interesting questions. He kind of reminded Valdemar from the days they were still human, discovering the mysteries of death and life.

Pounding hearts

Saz was in the middle of his second level when he finally performed his first successful surgery and necromancy spell, he also found out he had a really strong power to bring people back to life from the edge of death. To celebrate, Valdemar decided to give him a tour in The Death’s Realm, which was still in their power by the time.

It was like Hades showing his realm to Persephone. Saz was completely faccinated, from the macabre things to the fantastic ones. He was curious like a child, asking about everything he saw. Valdemar could feel an involuntary grin forming on his face, he was almost cute to watch.

At some point, they reached a dark grove replete of insects glowing in the dark. The pink-ish lights reflecting on Saz’s skin was too beautiful to ignore. Valdemar finally approached him, observing each graciously shy movement the necromancer made, until having him facing backwards a huge tree, his only option to look them in the eyes.

He then could understand. The dreams he had, those weren’t moons. They were Valdemar’s eyes.

The doctor pulled his mask down, their both seductive and intimidating semblance sending chills down his spine and creating butterflies in his stomach. When they closed the distance between their lips, Saz couldn’t do anything but melt into their touch.

background + career

born in portland, elliot was adopted when she was three years old by lynn & sarah sawyer. ellie is the oldest of the three sawyer kids - middle sister charlie (22) & younger brother skye (21) - though she acts like the youngest at times. very close with her family, grew up in a really loving environment;

began playing the piano and singing at school really young, writing lyrics and messing around with recording herself at home as grew up. music was something that came very naturally to her plus she always loved to perform for a crowd;

moved to california to study art at calarts when she was eighteen. during college, she began performing her original songs under the name of toile - its a french word for cloth and eliot spelled backwards so she thought it was really clever - eventually releasing her first single “catch” and then her first album, collxtion i, in 2016;

the album was a great success, critics & audiences praising her music and soon ellie was signed to vanity management. she moved to la in 2017 once she finished college, convincing her sister to move in with her so she wouldn’t be alone. the two settled in downtown la and ellie began working on her second album while gigging around the us;

collxtion ii came out in late 2017 and got great reviews though some people made a point on commenting on how pop music was vapid and pointless yadda yadda ellie just tuned those people out tbh, they just didn’t know how to have fun;

once she finished touring europe with her 2nd album she bought a nice house in la for her and her sister, big enough for the two of them and all of ellie’s art and their cats, plus it has a massive backyard with a pool and neighbors that don’t mind parties that much;

been working on her latest album, super sunset, for the past year and it is scheduled to drop on feb 15 and she’s super excited for it!!! besides her own work, ellie writes for other artists too, she really loves the process of writing especially when she gets to collab with other people.

hi everyone, i’m lianna! i’ve been on-off on tumblr roleplay, but i’m here to introduce you to my baby, ainsley buchanan. she’s low-key based off another oc of mine (who i no longer roleplay), so yeah!

( AINSLEY BUCHANAN ) has arrived, ready to start their ( 6th ) year as a ( ravenclaw ). the ( saoirse ronan ) lookalike is known as the ( crimson ) around hogwarts. which is fitting because ( she ) can be ( clever ) and also ( aggressive ). as history repeats itself, ( ainsley ) is looking like they’ll align with ( the new order of the phoenix ). ( lianna, 17, utc +8, they/them)

riddled with anger and spite all her life, ainsley was originally born to a well-off pureblood family, one that stayed out of the mess that they called the second wizarding war.

the buchanans pretty much stayed neutral during the first two wars, more interested in their investments abroad. they were wealthy, owning numerous estates in the scottish and french countrysides, which they stayed in during the wars.

maybe it was because ainsley was a girl and couldn’t carry on the family name, or maybe it was because her mother came from a less-than-reputable background; whatever it was, her paternal grandparents disliked them. they never came to visit, never made much contact.

whatever the reason was for her grandparents’ dislike towards ainsley and her mother, it reached its peak when her father was killed in a (very illegal) duel that he wasn’t even a part of. in fact, her father was trying to resolve the problem, but was hit by a stray spell instead.

after her fathers death, ainsley’s grandparents blamed her and her mother, and the two were shunned, ainsley losing her inheritance, disowned by the buchanan family.

after being disowned, ainsley and her mother went to live with her mother’s family, the wells.

her mother had ainsley keep her last name, though, because as much as she despised her in-laws, zinnia wells loved her husband, and keeping the last name seemed like the right thing to do to honor his name.

after her husband’s death, zinnia wells’ heart was filled with anger. anger at the world, at herself, at the buchanans.

this was passed down to ainsley, who grew up with the same spite and anger her mother had, but for ainsley it’s much worse. sure, she knows she has anger issues, and tries to channel it through concentrating on her studies or with quidditch, but it rarely works. at the end of the day, she’s the same angry ainsley

ainsley buchanan?? generally not a nice person. she’s sociable, yes, but she’s far from the sweet girl-next-door time. in fact, ainsley is terrifying when in a rage, with one incident earning her detention for almost a month.

aside from being hella aggressive, though, ainsley is smart as h*ck, having (almost) straight o’s in her o.w.l.s. she probably would have attained higher positions in school if it weren’t for her track record

listen. okay. given her history, she doesn’t seem like the kind of person to join the order, but she did. she’s not a terrible person, doesn’t hold the same morals as the death eaters do, she just can’t express her emotions properly after being riddled by anger all her life?? so she just gets angry ??
