Since the West End production opened last year, there have been quite a few changes in the Masquerade costumes. Some bigger than others. This is an overview of all the Masquerade costumes that are currently in use. This masterpost includes pictures of the costumes, names of the costumes, who wears the costume and the name of the actor in brackets.

A lot of the cast left today in London. Is that normal for that many to leave?
Really? Off the top of my head, of the principal roles, it's mainly the Raouls, Beatrice Penny-Toure (one of the Christine understudies), and Saori Oda who left. A number of ensemble members are leaving, but since many are not principal roles, I remember some have put it as one of the less interesting cast changes.
Remember, the West End is different from Broadway. On Broadway principal cast members are all on individual contracts with different start and end dates from one another, hence you might see one or two cast members leave at one time, but not more than that usually. On the West End though, the cast contracts all tend to start and end at the same time. That's why people call it a "cast change" - it's when many cast members have the opportunity to leave.
So yes, it is completely normal for that many to leave. Actually, I think this one is a little less normal because so few have left in a way? (There were rumors going around that Killian Donnelly and Lucy St Louis would leave, and obviously they haven't.) I remember cast changes where the Phantom, all three Christines (the West End typically had three, not four Christines), Raoul, and several supporting cast members left, in addition to some ensemble cast members / understudies for some of the major roles. This one is quite tame in comparison.
My two audio masters from yesterday’s final two shows for the London 2021/22 company are now up for trade. Feel free to message me here or email me at Phantomtrader19 to trade! 🤍
