It was dreadful how little she knew, and even when she thought she knew a thing, like the Italian painters, she found she had forgotten it.

Can people who identify as ‘sapiosexual’ please explain to me how their “sexual orientation” isn’t inherently classist or ableist? I’m genuinely curious. But it shouldn’t be an issue because you should all be intelligent enough to provide a coherent answer — right?
Liking people with a similar educational background to you isn’t revolutionary or interesting, it’s actually incredibly common (and pretty closed-minded). People find those with similar interests to them attractive. That’s literally how romance and sexuality work. Honestly, seems to me like a lot of cishet people really want to pretend they’re queer when they’re not....

The last time I told someone I'm a sapiosexual and they said "me too" they started talking about the stupidest opinions they've heard.
I ended up correcting them the entire time and explaining why certain opinions were in fact not stupid, because
1. A philosophical opinion can never be stupid due to lack of evidence on both sides,
2. Because if an opinion is made based on lack of knowledge it's not a stupid opinion but rather an ill informed one, or one based on misinformation.
A stupid opinion is one in which someone ignores the evidence before them, and sticks to their original opinion based on false or lack of knowledge.
Such as explaining that there are not only 2 sexes, there are in fact much more because chromosomes such as XX, XY, XXY, XYY, XO and OY exists, and a persons sex is given based on their chromosomes and hormones.
If a person continues to believe that there are only two sexes (female and male) after being presented with this evidence, then they're choosing to remain ignorant and therefore are not intelligent.
He then proceeded to call me an idiot.
Point being, this is why I dont like telling people I'm sapiosexual, because often others claiming to be are narcissistic and just end up talking about how dumb others are and I don't like this.

My sexuality is a person constantly teaching me new stuff and giving me emotional stability, but asking no physical (read: sexual) contact in return.

-Conspiracies-
That wind that forged my toughness, those looks that ruthlessly destroyed my life, everything that once was, now is and will always be embodied in me, a wallpaper with feeling, that at the moment you saw it degrade in the heart, everything what one day was, now is my fear, my dream and my fear of reality, of not being able, of not feeling, of not seeing you, delight. The time to lose, the love to fade and the death that stalks my being.
For me. . .

He read about the great rulers of the past, his favourites being the dictators. He had the ego of a Roman emperor and I secretly loved it. Challenging everyone to an intellectual spar and going on neverending rants about morality.
His eyes were so deep and the moment he opened his clever mouth... I knew I was lost forever. He spoke French and Chinese, and I didn't understand a word, but succumbed to the confidence with which every syllable was spoken.
He gave me his glass of wine and I couldn't help but think how it would feel if our lips actually touched. We played around in the snow around midnight in a city neither of us knew.
We were both lost and neither of us wanted to be found. Just us and the cold winter night.
