Nella Larsen An American novelist during the Harlem Renaissance period who wrote the two famous novels called Quicksand and Passing. I learned about her and her novels just a few months ago. I was moved by her stories and her courage to share her struggles and success. Even though it’s been a century ago, there are still mixed raced individuals who don’t know where and how exactly they fit in the society.
