Many people here are hoping for KinnPorsche season 2 and it's like half-official it's gonna happen but I have some issues with an originally unplanned season 2.
There is a huge difference between shows that hope for a second season in order to explain the events of the first and the sort of shows that are only meant to contain of one season.
Now, I don't know what kind of show KinnPorsche is, we haven't seen that ending yet, but it gives me the vibe everything will be resolved in the finale or even in the pre-finale episode. The story will come to an end, so a second season is thrilling as a fan but there's so much pressure on the production team, the writing can easily lack the charm it has now.
So far, popular BLs have faced a downfall after a reboot. Examples are "I promised you the moon", "We best love: fighting Mr. 2nd", "TharnType: 7 years of love" and "Still 2gether". Now, think what you want and be a fan of all of them, but I personally think they all have a disappointing second season.
The most common problem is unnecessary drama where the couple has a fight out of jealousy and breaks up (?) without anyone knowing why exactly except for the sake of drama. Jealousy can be strong in certain relationships but you can't tell me Type would still get jealous if Tharn talks to girls after being together for seven years with the knowledge Tharn is an openly gay person (TharnType). Tine was jealous which was also the most ridicolous thing ever because Sarawat was obvioulsy whipped (2gether).
The second problem is the vanished personal growth. The characters act out or certain habits that have been long gone since the pilot episode reappear to cause drama again. Teh learned that change was okay, that it is okay to be different from Oh. He makes his peace with it. But then he pushes Oh away again and acts as the same old asshole he was way back when. He acts like a teenager and not like an adult which is just crappy writing due to the fact how carefully and thoughtful his character's arc was portrayed in season 1 (IPYTM). Shi De left Shu Yi alone for five years even though he learned pulling back and staying in the shadows won't help Shu Yi and expressing his feelings actually means something (We best love).
I know KinnPorsche is not like the shows I named but it's as popular (and even more) as these ones were and it's what usually happens to popular shows, so I don't want a second season for the sake of the show itself.
I hope you see what I mean. It's not that I don't want a second season because this show is great but I do fear that the characters will suffer. It would still look good but storywise it can easily be destroyed and if the story is over, then just let it be over.

um this is kinda a weird-ish ask.
firstly, do you speak thai? if yes, could you translate the lyrics of a song for me?
i remember sarawat talking about a band called desktop error. i tried looking for english translations of their lyrics but i could find any, at all. i loved their music, especially the 2013 song called Rest. could you possibly help me find a translation?
I do speak thai a little bit, though I'm far from fluent. so I'm gonna try my best lol. it's gonna be very approximative
desktop error rest (translated lyrics)
it's enough, it's enough now
stop, so we can rest
when the heart is turbulent
when the mood isn't relaxed
I should have enough for now
it's enough
you should be gone already
stop
leave everything
let go of everything inside
let the mood relax
I should have enough of you right now
everything was going as planned already
but everything is only temporary
no matter who changes
the world keeps on turning as usual
no one can stop it
everything was going as planned already
but then everything is only temporary
no matter who changes
the world keeps on turning as usual
no one can stop it

prompt: sleepover fun with all the aphrodite/venus kids (ie: pete, yo, pi, theo, tine, tutor, pear) -you already know
Pear smiled in wonder at the luxurious New York City penthouse suite Yo had just unlocked for them. All for a sleepover. "Are you sure it's okay for us to use this?" she asked as she traced a finger over the mahogany dining table and bar top.
"Oh papa won't mind at all," Yo said as he waved in the rest of the entourage and the attendants carrying their bags. "He bought this place on the off chance mother wanted to visit and stay with him, but near family. You know how it is." Yo pointed to the Empire State Building.
"Wow!" Pi ran to the window and admired the view. "The city looks... exactly the same huh?"
Pete laughed and pat Pi on the head. "The view of the rivers is nice from up here and it looks better at night."
Tine looked into the rooms with Tutor. "Is it just a free-for-all on the rooms?"
Pete ran past and snatched his bag and Tutor's. "Dibs on sleeping with Tutor in the same room!"
"Now hold on just a second!" Tutor ran after Pete. "Your feet better not be cold anymore or I swear to mother-"
"As if yours were always warm when we were little!"
While the twins bickered, Theo walked up to the bar and examined the labels. "Are... Are we allowed to drink all this?"
"Of course," Yo said as he slid into a seat. "Papa won't care so long as we're staying in here and safe. But you," Yo poked Pi in the forehead as he approached, "Are drinking juice all night."
"But I can hold my liquor!" Pi objected.
"One, you are too young to drink," Theo said firmly. "Two, the last time we let you drink, you stripped off all your clothes and danced with Akk in the middle of the cabin, and both of you unsuccessfully attempted to sing Lady Marmalade."
"It's okay," Tine said as he sat down on the other side of Pi at the bar. "I'll sneak you one shot."
"You absolutely will not," Tutor said, emerging from the bedroom with Pete at last. Both of them were an appropriate level of disheveled from a sibling pillow fight. "Pi is not even close to eighteen, much less twenty-one."
"Oh it's fine. We're safe here," Pete insisted. "But only one shot. Mixed into a bottle of juice. And you drink that the entire night."
"Awww..."
"What do you think everyone else is up to?" Tine asked as he accepted a soda from Theo. "I know Sarawat was very uh... reluctant to stay in Apollo cabin tonight."
"Oh it's fine." Pete waved his hand and nearly hit Tutor. Tutor responded in kind by pinching Pete's side. "Earn said she'd rather not come to Camp Half-Blood since she trusts us with our dear sister." Pete gave Pear a tight hug and Pear laughed and hugged him back. "And as for everyone else but Pha, Ae offered to let them sleep in Zeus cabin while we're gone."
Tutor held his head in his hands. "Fighter promised he wouldn't attempt to give advice."
"Oh, but he's been getting better at it," Tine said with a smile. "Sarawat actually learned something from that one time you yelled at Fighter in the forum about his pants."
"Please stop reminding me."
"Is that why Mork keeps checking my closet for hot pants whenever he visits?" Pi asked as he threw himself onto the exceptionally plush couch. "Because Pete and Yo said I'm not wise enough for the power of hot pants, but Mork says checking is always good anyway."
"Why are you telling the baby about hot pants," Tutor hissed at Pete.
"He was going to learn about them at some point," Yo said, cutting in between the twins. "Besides, he can't even bear to let Mork see him in his underwear. I don't think hot pants will be an issue for a while yet."
Pi began to whine and Pear went to console him while Theo poured himself two shots and downed them without blinking. Pete took in the deteriorating state of things and pulled out a phone. "Who's ready for dinner then I guess?"
"You order dinner," Yo said as he pat Pete on the shoulder. "In the meantime, clay masks for everyone!"
Tutor groaned. "The last one you used dried out my face."
"Because you refused to use the moisturizer after! Total skincare, Tutor. TOTAL SKINCARE." Yo shoved Tutor towards the bathroom and the rest followed him while Pete laughed and ordered almost everything on the room service menu. It was going to be a long night and they needed all the food they could get.

The week of February 6th
Another week has gone by.  I’m still obsessed with Bad Buddy and Ohm and Nanon.  Send help.  For real.  It seems like every day they bless us with another video, another photo, and I’m just so not over it.
I’m honestly trying to think about the last time I was so obsessed with a ship.  And the only ship that would even remotely come close would be Drarry--but this, this is something entirely different and on another level entirely.  Like with Drarry, I know Draco and Harry are fictional characters.  I know Tom and Dan are their actors.  They are probably friends irl, sure.  But god damnit Ohm and Nanon are playing with us all and I’m fucking here for it.
I literally lost it when I saw the photos with Ohm’s “boyfriend” shirt.  I lay awake at night writing a small drabble about that fucking shirt.  And I’m just so ridiculously happy for them.  Happy for the show and its success, and just happy for them in general.  Even if they aren’t *really* a couple, you can just tell from how they look at each other that it doesn’t matter.  They are soulmates. 💚💓
Anyway...enough of this ramble.  Onto the new things I enjoyed this week.  (I also rewatched episode 10 of BBS, but are we surprised there?)
Watching
Still Together The Series GMMTV Official
So this was like the bonus sequel that I’m glad I bothered watching.  It’s 5 episodes, but within that short amount of time it left me satisfied.  The first episode is kind of tying up lose ends, and setting the stage for the next things that happen.  Tine and Sarawat have to deal with the conflicts of running two different clubs, apart from each other, and in constant conflict.  And it all sort of comes to a point when the clubs go on a trip to the beach.
One of my favorite scenes was the volleyball scene, with the “wifey” team.  How all these men were simping on their significant others and just letting them win.  It was so damn hilarious.  And Green was so fabulous.  He always made me laugh in the original episodes, but he was just so extra and I was here for it.  I also really liked the glimpse of the side couples and the development they had in the sequel.
But most of all, I loved that they wrapped it up with a real fucking kiss this time.  I dunno.  I know that BrightWin are not on the same level of intimacy as OhmNanon, but it just felt kind of...not as authentic between the two of them.  I still enjoyed the story though.  And got to admire the beautiful cast, so there ya go.  I’d say I liked the sequel much better than the original series.  Mainly because it’s a faster pace and it has so much it needs to pack in.  And it did it very well without me getting lost along the way.

Theory of Love  GMMTV Official
I got to discover the wonder of OffGun this week!!  This one was a little offbeat love story, in that in the beginning you are absolutely not rooting for the main ship at all.  And in fact the first 6-7 episodes are fucking painful angsty pining shit.  God, my heart fucking broke for Third again and again.  Be prepared for lots of crying, especially in showers (or with water bottles lol).  But it’s worth it, trust me.
A basic summary is that Third is in love with his best friend, Khai.  Khai is completely oblivious to this and is a fucking tool, douchebag, player.  But when Khai finally realizes the extent of Third’s feelings for him, he starts to slowly return said feelings.  But at that point Third is just done with his shit, so Khai has to win him back.  It’s this back and forth, push and pull, that makes it such a fun watch.  And I really enjoyed Off and Gun’s acting in the show.  They have this super cute dynamic together and it was a joy to watch.
After I had finished the series, I came to realize this is not the first (nor last) show they have had together.  So I will be watching their past projects for sure, and I’m really excited to start Not Me.  But I’ll try and hold off on Not Me because it’s currently airing and I want to be able to binge the entire series.  But from all the buzz the show has garnered, I’m just itching to get started on it.
In the meantime though, I have found the holy grail of OffGun.  They have a talk show together!  And I have been watching an episode here or there, just when I’m in the mood for a laugh.  Their first season of OffGun Fun Night was so fucking hilarious and chaotic and gay. gay. gay.  Like Jesus Christ.  They interview people on their fucking bed with matching pillows of their names.
Can we get something like that for Ohm and Nanon?  Please?  GMMTV are you listening? lmao

Enchanté  GMMTV Official
So I don’t really like watching current on air shows, but the trailer to this ran after Bad Buddy and I thought, eh why not.  So far there have been 3 episodes and it seems a little slow going, but I haven’t dismissed the show entirely just yet.  Basically Theo had moved away to live in France, and he’s recently returned to Thailand to continue his college education.  The boy next door is still there, still his friend, and his name is Akk.  Clearly they are going to be the main ship of this show, and I’m ok with that since they are both so cute together.
But now there is another slew of boys that are possibly going to be trying to win Theo’s heart.  They are the ambassadors of the college, and each has its own skills and interests.  So I think it’s going to be sort of like a harem romance?  I find that kind of interesting because I can’t really think of a harem romance in BL before.  But I’m sure there is something like that exists.  But eh.  The only other boy I’m sort of interested in seeing more screen time is the artist character.  But I think I just have a soft spot for him because he’s the same actor that played Wai in the Shipper lmao.
Anyway, it’ll be interesting to see how this story plays out.  Looking forward to the next episodes.

TharnType on VIKI
I’m only 3 episodes deep into this show and just from first impressions, this is gonna be a more mature show 👀 I’ve already seen some masturbation, characters watching porn, and a blowjob(?) in the shower.  Which, ok.  Let’s go!  lmao.
General storyline is Type was molested as a child, and as such he hates gay people.  He goes to college and is roommates with, surprise surprise, a gay guy.  The guy, Tharn, is unaware of this prior trauma from Type but it’s clear from the very beginning he’s got a thing for the guy anyway.
There are some problematic scenes, dub-con, non-con, homophobic slurs, etc.  But I’m a BL veteran and that shit doesn’t surprise me anymore.  I can suspend my belief for a moment and just continue on with the story.  And from the first few episodes, I’m really hoping this show turns into a sweet love story where the leads learn to tackle with Type’s serious trauma.  I guess I just gotta keep watching and see for myself.
Another thing I enjoyed while watching this show was the VIKI app.  You can choose to have viewer comments on as you’re watching the show.  And I’m just loving that.  Some of the things people were saying were just so fucking hilarious and added another level of interactivity that I appreciated.  It’s one of the things I liked about watching shows on YT also.  Just spending 10 minutes after each episode reading the comments.  🤣

Don't Say No The Series: a rant about the disgrace that was episode 11 (character development and story progression wise)
Yep. Here we go again.
Helloooooooooo, beautiful people! It’s moonchild here, back again with another rant because I like to complaint and have people actually being aware of my complaints. Actually, I was not planning to be back with another rant, at least not so soon, and was in the middle of writing my first post for DSN, a beautiful and in-depth post, intended to be posted before episode 11 aired but life got in the way and I couldn’t finish it in time; however, episode 11 happened, I got pissed about it but instead of doing what I did with my rant about Fiat’s mom, a post made right after I finished watching the episode, I decided to sleep and see if my thoughts and feelings would be different after a night sleep…I guess y’all can guess what happened, if this post has “rant” on its tittle.
I am still pissed about episode 11. REALLY. PISSED.
I feel like the fact that I didn’t just did this after the episode ended, with my emotions still all over the place, is actually good because it gave time to organize my thoughts in a much coherent way, where I’ll be able to explain exactly why this episode was a blatant insult to LeoFiat as characters that had been shown to have a certain type of personality and behavior towards certain situations and us as the viewers that were given this descriptions and actions consistently since episode 0 until episode 10. To be brutally honest, episode 11 was a stupid, bad joke.
Before I start, I wanna say that I am “used” with characters being ruined in the penultimate episode of a series for no reason that just drama for drama sake (Fighter in WHY R U, Sarawat in 2gether, The in IPYTM, Tiffy in Lovely Writer, etc) and because show runners always seem to have no idea on how to create continuity. I am also used” with episode 11 being the “dreaded one”, with a lot of unnecessary problems created just because they think it will make us comment more about the episode (producers, I SWEAR that the public will still talk about your shows even without this goddamn “cursed episode” you guys turned into a rule), so I was, in a way, expecting something similar to happen in DSN (both because it is a story from MAME and that woman has a reputation on its own and because I remembered that there were still scenes from the trailer that could only happen in this episode), however that doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t feel outraged by the debauchery I had to witness.
Anyways, because I don’t want this post to be long and I think I can summarize my thoughts, let’s see my reasons as to why I HATE this episode, in regards to LeoFiat as characters.
Leo: Leo, since the beginning, was shown as being a reasonable man and very smart. He always think first and acts later, having analyzing the options he had available to him and seeing what was the one with the most positive outcome. He rarely gets angry and when he does is because Fiat is involved but, even when he is in those type of situations, Leo always maintain a certain level of awareness about everything around him and how that influence the way he behaves.
In this episode, the Leo that we were presented with had almost NONE of those traits (I don’t wanna say that he looked like a totally different character here, because he didn’t, but is like 98% of his essence was gone) and took all the wrong decisions possible.
Before the bar scene:
- Punn told him that King had a plan against Fiat but he didn’t asked her how she knew that. I mean, if someone I know likes me and tells me that the man I hate, that also hates me back, is trying to do something against my partner, I would ask that person how did they got that information. He didn’t do that.
- Leo didn’t question the validity of her claims, not even after she decided to trade the information she supposedly had about said plan for a kiss, a kiss that had to “satisfy her”.
- Leo didn’t found odd that Punn, a woman that hates Fiat, was doing something that would actually benefit the man she hates! It would be easier for her to let King’s plan, if existed one, to be executed and wait for LeoFiat to breakup, so she could try to get him for her.
- Leo didn’t consider the possibility that Punn and King were working together in said plan. After all, King hates him and have “something” for Fiat and Punn likes him, so it would be logical for them to be together.
- Leo really thought that he could kiss Punn the way she wanted and gain the information he wanted, when he liked Fiat, was in a relationship and expressed not wanting to have anything more than a senior-junior relationship with her.
Leo had ALL the information he needed to realize that something was wrong about the things Punn were telling him but, magically, decided to ignore all logical reasoning he demonstrated for 10 episodes straight and be a dumb version of himself. Also, when Fiat caught Leo and Punn after the game, he had the chance to tell that King was planning something against him but decided to cave in to Fiat’s insistence that he didn’t needed to know about it, instead of making Fiat listen to him. Fiat, the person who King was plotting something against, was kept in the dark and instead got a half ass warning from Leo, a warning that was meaningless without context.
After the bar scene:
- Leo didn’t asked Fiat how he was. Even if he assumed that Fiat was drunk, without knowing what King could’ve done to him before he arrived on the bar, the first thing he should’ve done was to make sure nothing major had happened with Fiat.
- Leo didn’t gave time and space for Fiat to explain why he was with King. He also didn’t told Fiat who told him where Fiat and King were or how he knew they were together.
- Leo said that Fiat was hugging King when he arrived, something that wasn’t true. No matter how dark it could be at the bar when he got there, it was very clear that Fiat had his head on King’s shoulder and King was patting Fiat on his head.
- Leo said that he knew that it was all King’s plan but still blamed Fiat for things he didn’t do.
- Leo said that while he and Fiat were only friends, he could handle see Fiat with other men but now things were different, adding that he couldn’t look at Fiat’s face. And had the AUDACITY to look shocked when Fiat said that probably they should’ve stayed friends in the first place.
Now tell me, is this the same Leo we have been following since the beginning? The same Leo that said that he would take the best care of Fiat? The same Leo that always directed his anger to the men in Fiat’s past and not Fiat himself? Does it make sense the reactions he had in both situations, the words he said to Fiat, his lack of reasonable thinking towards people he knows he can’t trust?
Fiat: Contrary to Leo, Fiat is a more of a “react first, with a bit of initial thinking, but not so much” man, more expressive than Leo and a bit more sensitive. He tends to get affected by the way the environment around him is and overthinks a lot, even if sometimes he knows how to separate things and see the situation in a more rational way. When he trusts someone, practically nothing will make him distrust that person unless they do something really bad, and he is really loyal to those he love. In regards to Leo, he sometimes feel like he doesn’t deserve his love but still fights to keep Leo by his side.
Remember in episode 5, when Leo told Fiat that if he wants to know something, could straight-up ask him? Well, apparently, Fiat forgot that and decided to “pretend” nothing happening while suffering in silence and asking himself what could be happening. He claimed that he trusted Leo but at the same time, instead of going to his boyfriend and ask what had happened and why, decided to keep quiet and not make any comments about what he saw to Leo (ring any bell?).
Before the bar scene:
- Fiat saw that Punn was doing her best to rile him up, but fell for the trap anyway. Granted, seeing her kiss Leo did the job it was supposed to do, destabilize him so King’s plan could work, but for someone who was quick to ask Leo who Pobphan was, when all he had was Leon’s word that Pob likes Leo but as soon as he sees something personally, backtracks?
- Fiat refused to let Leo explain to him why he saw him and Punn kissing.
- For some unexplained reason, Fiat had King’s number on his contact list (this could be easily explained considering the fact that King blackmailed Fiat a year ago) and more unexplained even still keeps King’s number on his contact list after everything that happened.
- Fiat believed King when he told him that Punn wanted to make her father force Leo to be with her and didn’t question the validity of that claim. We are talking about someone that loves to manipulate him and Leo, a person that blackmailed him a year prior to have sex with him, a person that messed with Leo’s head enough to make his team lose a match, and yet Fiat believed him. (familiar?)
- (I may be stretching a bit here but I also think is important to talk about) Fiat, knowing how cunning and bastard King is, didn’t consider the possibility of King having planned something really sinister with the garcon, consider the fact that he got there before Fiat. For someone who used to club a lot before, he should be aware that it is possible to drug a sealed drink, no matter what it is. Is King we are talking about, that man can’t be trusted. (Being clear, I am NOT blaming Fiat for being drugged, just showing that when someone is sketchy, you put your guards up and leave them there).
After the bar scene:
- Fiat didn’t told Leo why he was with King at the bar.
- Fiat didn’t asked Leo about the first kiss he had with Punn.
There isn’t much to talk about Fiat’s behavior after the bar scene, because the man was a bit disoriented, consequence of being drugged, and also because his actions were a reaction to Leo’s actions, his response to Leo’s behavior. Like I said earlier, he tends to get affected by the way the environment around him is and Leo was being everything except receptive to listen to anything he could or wanted to say.
Everything I mentioned could’ve be avoided if LeoFiat had done what they had been doing since the beginning and TALKED WITH EACH OTHER. None of this would’ve happened if Leo had told Fiat what Punn told him right of the bat, instead of that fucking cryptic “warning”, working with Fiat instead of trying to fix things alone, if Fiat had left Leo give him the explanation he wanted instead of running away, if Fiat had taken more minutes to think about what King had told him, if Leon had second guessed what Punn told him. They acted totally different from what they were supposed to act, didn’t communicate when they have been doing that pretty fine until now, caved in when the finals were close and it could all be a plan from King. It pained me to see such a wonderful character development thrown away just because we had to have some drama, as per “tradition”.
In the post I wanted to give you before all of this mess happened, I was going to make a sort of “prediction” as to what, according to my “natural story progression” theory, where episode 11 would be something along the lines of a Disney movie, where the good guys pretend to follow the bad guy plan, to make them think that everything was going according to what they wanted and in the end the good guys would come on top and destroy the bad guy. Literally: LeoFiat realizing that King was up to something, deciding to play along, make a bit of a show and in the game (because we know King is doing all of that to make Leo lose the match against him at the finals) ending up winning and telling King off and celebrate the victory; yeah, I got my Disney-esque episode, just not the one I wanted.
Again, I am REALLY PISSED with how they handled this situation, just like I wished MAME hadn't ruined another one of her characters like that, because it just doesn't need that to make a good story flow.

hi hello pls gimme thai music recs !!
hiii nonnie!! of course i can hehe! some of my favourite thai artists have to be: desktop error, tilly birds, bodyslam, scrubb, milli, wonderframe, f.hero, maiyarap and lazyloxy! all of these artists are a little different so i hope you can find what you're looking for here. this got a little long so i’ll put it under a cut.
desktop error is my secret little alternative indie rock and experimental band nobody knows about. i stumbled upon them back in late 2019 and imagine my surprise when sarawat mentioned them in 2gether! i think they did get some sort of recognition after that but they're still pretty unknown internationally. absolutely undeserved though, because they have to be some of my favourites on this list. there's not too much information about them but i know they're made up of five people who have been friends since high school and university and they incorporate both traditional thai instruments as well as more modern instruments into their music. they have a lot of live performances and sets on youtube too! two songs i definitely recommend are rest, ticket to home, and kwan jang la. i have a whole post here recommending desktop error songs! you should check that out bc desktop error only have one album on spotify; ticket to home for example is on youtube and you can find the link in that post!
as for tilly birds, i adore them soooo much. they're an alternative rock band with some r&b influences here and there! the guys also just seem like genuinely good people; they supported the democracy protests in thailand for example. i'd recommend checking out same page and just being friendly by them!
bodyslam is probably the most popular on this list. they're a thai rock/pop band who i like a lot! the lead vocalist has a very unique voice and they have super fun live performances. from them i really recommend the คราม (kraam) album, especially track 6. they're quite well-known and well-loved as well.
scrubb gained popularity through 2gether especially, but i used to listen to a couple of songs before then too! they're a music duo who formed during college and i'd say their music is more (alternative) rock? i'm super bad at music genres so take that with a grain of salt. good starting songs from them are everything and closer.
milli is literally out of this world. she's an up-and-coming rapper who's just 18 or 19 i believe and she's been taking the thai music world by storm! she's featured with a lot of artists, such as tilly birds and wonderframe! she talks about a lot of political activism and loving yourself in her songs; she's an inspiration! she recently released a song with f.hero and changbin from stray kids, which is a solid song. from her, i'd recommend checking out mirror mirror and not yet!
i've been following wonderframe for a while and she's lovely! i really like her voice, she does mostly r&b and pop, and i remember her winning something at the kazz awards last year too! she released a song with mek jirakit which i recommend checking out because the mv is also just super cute ... it's called ลองเลย (love stranger project)! another song i recommend from her is วงวาร.
f.hero is fairly well known in the thai music industry. he's a rapper and has collaborated with a lot of other thai artists, especially ones rooted in heavy metal and rock. he's famously collaborated with bambam, formerly from got7, as well as changbin from stray kids as mentioned above. i can recommend slipped your mind, which features tilly birds, mirror mirror, and do you, which features bambam.
as for maiyarap, he's a rapper (duh) who has gone on quite a lot of competitions and also has a nice singing voice! his latest single with milli, แฟนใหม่หน้าคุ้น, as well as his collabs with three man down and lazyloxy are pretty good!
lazyloxy is another thai rapper whose songs i enjoy! he has quite a distinctive voice and i don't listen to him a lot but he's still a very solid artists. my favourites by him are probably tiger cry freestyle and badboy, which incidentally features maiyarap.
i could go on and on and on, but i'll stop here for now! as you could probably tell from this list, the thai music industry is pretty tight-knit, especially in the particular genres, and so you'll have people collaborating and featuring on each other's songs a lot. this is very common in the rap sphere, for example! so by listening to some artists, you'll probably be introduced to others too. i'd say my absolute favourites on this list are desktop error, tilly birds, and bodyslam! i hope you can find something you like :') <3

no but as a wlwoc i ... i need to speak about this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
being a wlw isn’t easy. being a wlwoc? is even harder. in western media, its more easier to find wlw/wlwoc rep than it is in eastern media, or in this case, asian media. but that rep portrays a much more westernised, whitewashed view (especially for wlwoc that live in the west). if we’re talking true, authentic wlwoc rep, and what it truly looks like in the east, or within our culture, within our families and friends and society and within our homes .... its like finding a needle in a haystack. there is so less mention of wlw within mainstream asian media, that isn’t a short movie or a music video.
so having a, and this isn’t me being biased, but having such an internationally popular and well-known asian show like 2gether/still2gether have a scene between earn and sarawat today, where earn is allowed to finally be herself, be her own individual person, who - as we’ve been seeing all along - is so clearly interested in girls, to have her finally voice out that in a “let’s suppose .... let’s say i like girls. i don’t know if i’d be open like you are.” to have a character of colour, as asian girl, that lives in asia, that lives in a predominantly homophobic culture, where wlw are fetishised for the sake of cishet men and their fantasises, where being a wlw isn’t considered a real thing, where it’s looked at as a joke because “no you don’t like girls, you’re just extremely good friends with her, she’s like your sister, that’s what girls do, they hold hands and do each other’s hair and make up, that’s all part of culture!”, where wlw are constantly reduced and desexualised and deromanticised ... to have her say,
“let’s suppose ... let’s say i like girls.”
she made it sound so normal. she made it sound so acceptable. that she or any girl, in fact can like girls (note: she does).
and then in the same breath, she spoke the horrors wlw(oc) face - “i don’t know if i’d be open like you are.” whether that’s because of what culture or society may say, or because of your own fears of what accepting that ‘no, i do like girls. and i like them romantically. not as a friend or sister, but as something more.’ can carry, what implications it has, whether it be in terms of being out of the closet and proud or being a happy wlw(oc) in a relationship with another identifying woman openly in public. because, compared to mlm(oc) - who, of course have their own struggles, but are much more represented within (asian) media - wlw(oc) are a needle in the haystack. our desires and fears and struggles are constantly muted or are placed in boot of the car, not even in the backseat, dammit.
it was like a bucket of ice cold water being thrown on the face to see a wlw(oc)’s desire and fear and struggles, in the same sentence, be spoken so clearly like that. there was no sugarcoating or indirect meaning. it was just:
“let’s suppose ... let’s say i like girls. i don’t know if i’d be open like you are”.
2gether/still2gether didn’t have to do this, but as an internationally popular and well-known asian show that is made by an lgbt+ director and writer, that is intended to be for the lgbt+ audience, particularly those of colour, having a women of colour express herself as a wlwoc, it resonates with those wlwoc at home in the east and away in the west who are going through what earn is or have gone through it and know exactly what that feels like. so i only hope this is stepping stone for us.

this is a direct sequel to family dinners. if you haven’t read that, i suggest you read it first. this will make more sense if you do!
i love the teepakorn siblings far too much. there is so much about them to explore, and i’ve been having such a fun time doing that. type is a character i don’t think gets enough recognition, but i find him and tine to be very similar; opposite sides to the same coin if you will.
as soon as i finished family dinners, i knew i wanted a continuation with type’s thoughts and feelings towards what happened in the first story. so here it is! i hope you enjoy!!
Type can’t bring himself to knock on the door.
The long plane of wood mocks him, separating the beginning of the night from the remainder. All it would take is a raise of his hand, a rap of his knuckles, and despite that, he stays deathly still.
He should have had Sarawat drop him off at his own apartment and console himself with the blankets pulled over his head and deep instrumentals to drown out his tears. There’s comfort, familiarity, in that. This? This is so far from; a foreign land he has to tip toe through in fear of a trap opening up beneath him.
His head turns away, walks down the stairs, waits for a taxi. But his heart plants himself firm and knocks three times. Fight or flight begins, his two poles pulling him in opposite directions. But before he’s torn apart, the door opens, and Man looks down to him with a smile.
He smiles more than anyone Type has ever met, sends more smiles his way than he’s ever been gifted. The curve of his lips, the glint of his teeth, the hidden messages of I missed you and I’m so happy to see you startles and excites him at the same time.
As quick as that smile comes, it disappears when he gets a better look at how he’s sinking into himself. A hand reaches out, close enough to touch but far enough to pull away if it needs to, and Type, physical qualms be damned, takes it and anchors himself to what that taunting door had kept him from.
Man leads him inside, grip light enough to where Type could get away at any time. The scary thing is that he doesn’t want to get away for the very first time in his life. He has known how to handle himself, has handled himself for as long as he can remember and then some. Allowing someone else to do that is a risk, and risks of that degree were not ones that Type Teepakorn took. Not then. Not before Man. Man is worth the risk (he thinks; he might be; maybe; he hopes so).
Sitting on the couch, silence simmers on a low boil. Searching for what to say, the pot begins to overflow, the tea kettle starts to whistle, and he feels Man inhale the beginnings of a concern at his side. Before he can voice it, Type says in a quick fluster, “Tine brought Sarawat over for dinner tonight.”
Stammering wordlessly, Man nods with a hard swallow. “Okay,” he settles on, urging him to continue.
“He brought Sarawat over for dinner,” he repeats, trying to make sense of it himself; because those words should not go together, not with what he – what he and Tine – know. “He brought him over when he knew…knew how bad it would be.”
He had to have known; Type had the moment the two of them had walked through the kitchen and into the dining room. There is so much Teepakorn sons do not do, and bringing home a boy – regardless of how accomplished he may be or how well he may treat you – is right alongside jeopardizing success for emotions and putting your own happiness above the perception of the family.
He evens his breath to the pattern he strokes over Man’s fingers. He waits two beats before he picks up his speed, “The things he said, the things Tine had to hear, were just awful. It shouldn’t surprise me. It shouldn’t, and yet, every time,” he shakes his head, “I’m dumb enough to believe it will be different.”
Man gives his palm a hard squeeze, his skin pressing you’re not dumb, never into his own. The just hopeful goes unsaid, unsqueezed. After all this time, he knows there’s nothing to be hopeful for, and for some unfathomable reason, he hangs onto the possibility that there just might be.
“I just sat there,” he continues on, waver to his voice unequivocal, “while my little brother got torn to pieces. And he stood there, took it all, didn’t…didn’t even flinch. He was so…” Deep breath in, he swallows back tears – because what right does he of all people have to cry? “So brave. And I didn’t even help him. I’m the oldest; I’m…I’m meant to protect him, make things better, and all I did was…was sit there! Like a coward–”
“Hey, no.” He doesn’t realize the patterns he is drawing over Man’s skin have turned shaky until they are taken into a larger, steadier pair. “You’re Tine’s brother, not his parent. Those aren’t things you had to do in that moment. Your parents…they reacted bad, yeah? That’s what you’re saying? Of course you sat there; it must have been a really scary situation.”
Type dares to look up, but as soon as he does, he realizes it’s a mistake. He expects pity, would appreciate pity, more than the kind understanding sadness Man sends his way. He can’t look away, even when Man stresses further.
“Tine made his decision, and I think he probably knew that things could go the way they did. And that really, really sucks. But it’s not something you could change, no matter how badly you wanted to.” Cupping his hands together, he holds Type’s in between. “And it doesn’t make you a coward. You’re one of the bravest people I know, P’Type.”
Suppressing a dry laugh, he meets those eyes once more, continues to wonder how they can look at him in such a way, and reaches up to cup his cheek. What a privilege it is, to touch something so close to gold.
He smiles, small and far from reassuring; it’s almost ironic. “How can I be?” he asks. “When what I can’t even imagine doing what Tine did?”
“P’Type,” Man breathes. It’s a horribly sad sound, enough to break his heart. He just holds his face firmer, fingertips tickling over the stubble along his jaw.
“You don’t deserve to be kept a secret. And I don’t want you to be one. I want to tell everyone, anyone, my parents included; I want it so badly that I feel like I’ll explode. But I can’t. I can’t. Because it would end so terribly. It did for Tine, and…it should have been me. I should’ve gone first so that I would have been ready when he went. I could have helped him, I’m older, I’m…I want to.”
“P’Type.” Man’s hand comes up to cover the one on his cheek. “P’Type,” he says again, and Type soaks in the gentle tone.
“They would be so mean to you,” he whispers, a bit cracked, a bit unsteady. “I want to. But they would be so mean to you.”
P’Beam is child’s play in comparison to his parents. Whatever expectations there are about his future, his career, his goals, their opinions and expectations are laid out clearly, and anything that happens to stray him away from those are not worth any kindness. And how unfair it is when Man is worth that and more; he’s worth the sun, moon, and stars.
“Just because you want to, doesn’t mean you’re ready. And that’s okay. Tine was ready today, because he’s Tine; you’re not ready yet, because you’re you. Being older has nothing to do with that.” Turning his head, he presses a kiss to the center of Type’s palm, murmuring into his skin, “I’m okay with being a secret. I’m okay with waiting. I’m okay with anything so long as I have you. What I deserve is your love, time, and support. And that’s what you deserve too, P’Type. You deserve to be happy in any way that you feel happiness.”
Tears fall easier than they should. Maybe they’ve been held back for too long to stay choked back inside anymore. Wet trails stain his cheeks as fresh streams fall, and Man is there to hold him, one arm coming around his waist while the opposite hand smooths over his hair, through it all. To be hugged so tight, cradled so close, is new, scary, and his brain is sending him out the door and down the stairwell once more. But his heart, the very thing he’s forbidden control from for years, keeps him still.
“I’ll keep reminding you until you believe me,” Man whispers to the crown of his head. “It’s okay if that takes a while. I have forever to show you it’s the truth.”
Type doesn’t know how long it will take for him to accept that; perhaps soon, perhaps never. What he does know is that no one has been bold enough to brave his walls and promise to stay until they come down, brick by brick. And if nothing else, that gives him hope that one day – not now, not tomorrow, but one day – he’ll see what Man does.

The Not So Scary Haunting of Sarawat Guntithanon— Chapter 1
Fandom: 2Gether
Pairings: Sarawat/Tine
Summary: Sarawat Gay Panics 24/7 over his new roommate (who, by the way, might be a ghost, which is weird on so many levels but whatever, if a man wants to thirst over the supernatural being haunting his apartment so be it!)
Word Count: 1621
Notes: i'm not even excited for 2gether the movie yet here i am, posting another sarawatine fic. basically our boy Sarawat gay panics every single minute of every single day because the ghost who is haunting his apartment is pretty. that's it. that's the plot. just sarawatine being dumb, mutually pining idiots.
Read the first chapter on Ao3 or down below!
+
How was it possible that a disembodied voice could sound so... god damn enticing and lovely? At first, Sarawat found himself pressing his body deeper into his bed but after getting over to his initial shock and fear he allowed himself sometime to appreciate the sound of it. Although his heart was in his throat, Sarawat could not deny the wave of comfort that filled his veins, from his finger to his toes warm spread through his body.
Which was weird—and frankly crazy. Ghosts can possess people, right? Or kill them? Sarawat wished he paid more attention to all the horror movies Man and Boss dragged him to because maybe then he wouldn’t be laying in bed, already whipped, ready to drop down on knee. Hand in marriage sir, please give me your hand in marriage.
He should be terrified of this figure, not lowkey turned on.
Curse Sarawat and his inability to function around attractive boys. Curse this motherfucking hot as heck ghost and his stupid dimples.
Sarawat awakes to a blurry and translucent figure hovering mere inches from his face.
The next day he swears to Man and Boss that the reason he remains frozen was because of fear and not because he was having a full on gay panic attack... over a ghost. That’s what this person was, right? A ghost? He was a rationale adult but he had enough brain cells to connect all the dots.
Sarawat sucks in a deep inhale of breath, allowing his eyes to burn every line, curve, and dip of this mysterious figure's face.
The dim light of his bedroom combined with the near translucent nature of the figure meant that Sarawat never was able to get a clear idea of what this ghost looked like. Just the glimpses he did get left his throat dry and heart pounding rapidly.
The figure had a closed mouth smile etched across his features, all soft pink lips and crinkly eyes and dimples. Sarawat briefly thought of leaning forward to press his fingertips against those pink lips just to see if they were as soft as they looked. But then he realized that was insane and weird so instead he just beat that thought away with a stick. Gay thoughts: be gone! Don’t you dare become a simp over a motherfucking ghost.
The bottom half of his face was crystal clear which was both a blessing and curse while his top half looked as if it was about to flicker away at any moment. Sarawat was positive that this was abnormal, but then again this was his first encounter with a ghost so maybe it was, in fact, normal? It’s not as if he was given a manual or anything.
He couldn’t quite tell what shade of brown this mysterious figures eyes but he allowed his brain to imagine that it was probably vivid, just like the rest of his face. He was debating on the actual shade when he a disembodied voice spoke.
“Hello.”
Sarawat was like ninety percent sure of his sexual identity but now he was having a crisis about the fact he was possibly crushing on a whole new species. Needless to say he was losing his mind!
He could just imagine the headline of the video Man would inevitably make him sit down to film and post on their jointed YouTube channel.
STORYTIME: I ALMOST MADE OUT WITH THE GHOST THAT'S HAUNTING MY APARTMENT!
Sarawat was positive that his best friend would insert various memes and jokes throughout his very honest and real existential-slash-moral-slash- philosophical crisis Sarawat was having.
It would probably rake in a lot of views but Sarawat did not want to be known as That One Guy Who Simped Over A Ghost for the rest of his life.
He was almost positive that if he told his friends the trust extent of how he felt, they would want to change their channel from music and vlogs to something more akin to Buzzfeed Unsolved.
They would buy a spirit box and Ouija board online and force Sarawat to try to communicate because of course they fucking would, those absolute menaces.
He could already see Boss glancing around like a conspiracy theorist, seriously asking the ghost are you DTF (that means down to fornicate in case you need clarification), Mr. Ghost? Just give us a sign, any sign. Man would most definitely feed into this or make the situation even worse.
Which is why he was not going to reveal what happened tonight. He would just play off as sleep paralysis. Yeah. That is the best way to prevent his best friends from blowing this situation out of proportion.
Sarawat wanted to say something but the words died in his throat. What would he even say? Hello. Please smash your face against mine! Uh, no way in hell. Maybe it was a good thing that he had trouble forming words right now. It would save him a lot of embarrassment.
The figure leaned down closer and— fuck fuck fuck gay thoughts go away— peering curiously down at Sarawat. “He definitely can see me so why isn’t he saying anything?”
Because you can’t verbally keysmash in real life you beautiful and vaguely threatening supernatural being.
The figure hummed, deep in thought, before leaning back (thank goodness) only to do something that made Sarawat let out a very unflattering shriek in surprise. Well there goes his reputation. He didn’t have one in the first place to begin with, especially not with this ghost, but still. There it goes.
Ghosts were unable to touch people right? Right? So why did a ghost...just touch him?
Sarawat raked his brain trying to remember the drama he watched a few months back with his brother (it was Phukong unsubtle way of being like, hey, bro, I like boys but I’m still scared of coming out so let’s just both pretend like I didn’t just cry at the scene where Ohm Pawat’s character comes out to his mother, I swear I’m emotional because of the acting not because I can relate to it).
Sarawat was positive that the ghost in that drama couldn’t actually touch anyone. He was like ninety-six percent sure that every time he tried his body would just go straight through the other characters.
He forgot how it was possible that the ghost could touch, and kiss, the human, though. He should have paid more attention but hey, he was also trying to think of an inconspicuous way to let it slip that he was also gay. Great (disaster gays) apparently think a lot alike.
Anyways, the figure poked his chest and Sarawat almost pissed his pants in shock. Clearly the ghost was just as surprised that he could actually touch Sarawat because he froze, making Sarawat happy that he decided to wear a shirt to bed tonight.
He assumed that the ghost must have thought he was dreaming to (wait can ghost dream?) so just to make sure he poked Sarawat three more times in the same spot and yup—Sarawat felt it. He felt it clear as day.
“Oh.” The figure tilted his head to the side. “This is weird. I shouldn’t be able to do that.”
Yeah, obviously.
Sarawat opened his mouth to finally speak (he swore he was going to play it cool and be all like: hi! i promise i’m not having gay thoughts right now!) but before he could a loud crash in the next room made him jolt in surprise.
After being rendered motionless for a few minutes, Sarawat finally gained control of his own body. He threw himself upright into a sitting position but in the process of doing so he accidentally slammed his forehead against the figure whose face was technically still in close proximity.
Cursing, Sarawat clutched his head as pain made white spots cloud his vision. “ Fuck .”
From next to him the figure cursed too. “ Shit.”
Eventually the pain subsided into a dull ache, allowing Sarawat to glance over at the boy—ghost, supernatural being, angel, whatever—next to him.
The top half of his face was no longer translucent anymore.
In fact, he wasn’t translucent at all.
Crimson blood began to trickle out from his nose, causing Sarawat to gape in horror.
Not because the image was a terrifying one. I mean, yeah, it was a bit weird but it has been established that Sarawat, that certifiable himbo, was in a constant state of ‘mark me down as scared and horny’ tonight, but because a ghost...was bleeding. From a wound that Sarawat gave him. Was that like, scientifically possible? Note to self: send a text to Earn so that she can ask her girlfriend about it.
Also? Sarawat was finally able to label the ghost's eyes as being a cross between honey and caramel. Obviously, his poor gay started chanting oh oh oh oh oh because yeah, read above, Sarawat Guntithanon? Himbo, Simp, Dumbass Extraordinaire. Either way he was a mess.
The possible brain injury and the shock of the entire night finally caught up to Sarawat, making his stomach churn with nausea and vision become blurry.
Without meaning to, Sarawat fainted—not even elegantly like one of those heroines in a romance novel but like a dead, fucking fish, limbs flopping every which way—right into the arms of the mysterious figure he was still dying ( yikes bad choice of words) to know the name of.
The last thing he registered before completely blacking out was that someone was cradling him to their chest, rambling away.
“Oh my god. Did I just kill him? No. No way. He’s still breathing. Shit. Sarawat! Hey, you saraleo, wake up!”

Sarawatine and the 29th prompt please and thank you? 💖
Hi lovey!!! Thank you for the ask! ❤️ Here's a lil ficlet taking place somehwere between 2gether and still2gether.
“Isn't this, like, illegal?”
“Most probably,” Sarawat nods with the conviction of a man about to do anything but something 'most probably illegal', still holding Tine by his wrist behind him as he looks everywhere to make sure that the coast is clear.
“Wat!” Tine hisses, which only causes Sarawat to pull him further. “We don't have to do this right now!”
Abruptly, Sarawat comes to a stop, causing Tine to collide with him, headfirst.
Sarawat lets out a small ‘oof’ before steadying them both with his hands.
“Tine.” Under the pale light emanating from their phone torches, Sarawat looks a little too ethereal, too beautiful, his bright eyes reflecting the night sky.
Tine, bewitched as always, is unable to do anything but smile at him in response. He can't help it, he loves Sarawat so much that he feels unable to contain it, those words making themselves home right underneath his tongue, ready to escape every time he sees Sarawat. But he can’t say it here, especially not now, even when those words are eager to slip away.
Tine leans forward and kisses his cheek, once.
Sarawat's features soften immeasurably before he trails his hands down Tine's arms and intertwines their fingers together.
"Tine," he says again, his voice soft.
"Wat," Tine replies, pressing their fingers together.
For a moment, Tine even forgets why they are here, meters away from the rooftop, where Sarawat wants to break in because apparently, “the view at night is simply exquisite,” and he simply can’t wait for the morning. It strikes him then, what they’re about to do, but Sarawat simply steps in closer and presses their foreheads together.
“Do you trust me?” Sarawat whispers, as though he doesn’t know just how gone Tine is, for him. As though he doesn’t know that Tine would do just about anything for him.
“Obviously,” Tine scoffs.
“Okay,” Sarawat nods, pressing a kiss to his forehead.
“If your fifth-month anniversary gift for me is getting us both arrested,” Tine says, as they move towards the door that leads them to the rooftop swimming pool, “then I will never forgive you.”
Sarawat huffs a laugh, bumping their shoulders together. “Your brother will kill me if that happens,” he says. “I wouldn’t have asked you to accompany me had I not known the stakes, Tine.”
Sarawat pulls them to the door, and with sheer efficiency, he breaks into the rooftop, without tripping any alarms, or alerting any authorities.
(Fuck, Tine realises, this isn’t the first time that Sarawat is doing this.)
Sarawat looks nothing but smug as the door opens to the rooftop, extending his arm, and saying ever so softly, “After you.”
Tine is a little… shocked, that Sarawat is able to efficiently break-in, somehow more impressed than he’d ever thought he’d be.
Dim lights flood all over the rooftop. Tine is able to locate the pool and is able to look at the stars above.
Tine stands there, awe-struck, looking up at the stars with poorly concealed delight.
The stars are barely visible from their home, deep in the city, but here, here there seems to be an abundance of them. The night sky is clear, moonless; Tine is going to be able to swim under the starry sky with his boyfriend. Worries of being caught (and subsequently arrested for trespassing) are soon forgotten.
Sarawat plops his chin on Tine's shoulder, holding him from behind. “Do you like this?” he whispers, causing the hair on Tine's nape to rise up.
Tine presses into Sarawat, putting his arms over Sarawat's. “I love it,” Tine says. “It is so beautiful here.”
Sarawat presses a kiss on Tine's cheek. “Yeah,” he says, “Yeah, it is.”
The water is cool enough to contrast the blistering heat of the day. Neither of them know how to swim, making them wade towards the shallow waters, clinging onto each other despite knowing that they won't drown here.
“This is my second-favourite place ever,” Sarawat says, his head sagged against the fold of his hands at the edge of the pool. “Coming second to being in your arms. Obviously.”
“Obviously,” Tine echoes, reaching out to him. He rests his face on Sarawat's shoulder, pulling him in his arms.
“Thank you,” Tine says after a while.
Sarawat hums, inquisitive and low, prompting Tine to say, “Thank you for taking me to your second-favourite place ever.”
From this angle, it is awfully convenient to press his lips near Sarawat's ear.
Sarawat turns around then, the smile on his face radiant, dazzling, entirely fond, even under the faded lights of the rooftop. “Thank you for being my favourite person ever,” he says in a soft voice that is reserved for Tine.
And here Tine feels it again, this bubbling ferocious need, right behind his ribs. The need to scream just how much he loves Sarawat from this rooftop, the need to drown those words in his water — pulling them both with it, the need to whisper those words in his ears, knowing that they'd remain in the liminal space between them, private, certain, words that he'll always come back to.
Instead, Tine presses their foreheads together, and traces those words with the tip of his thumbs on Sarawat's cheeks. I love you, he writes. I love you. I love you. I love you.
Sarawat plants a kiss on both his thumbs, as though he understands the depth of those words falling freely out of him.
I love you. I love you. I love you.
One day, he thinks, one day he'll feel brave enough to say it.
For now, he presses their lips together, hoping that it tells Sarawat just that.
(send me a prompt + pairing if you want!)

But ALSO what I love most about the call backs and parallel scenes is the difference in reactions, Tine’s especially. Before when Wat flirted, Tine was, understandably, shocked and unsure of how to react and embarrassed because he didnt know his own feelings or whether Sarawat was being genuine or just playing his part.
But now NOW LOOK AT HIM - he smiles and giggles and leans into Wat’s touches, staring at him openly with love and affection. He knows his boyfriend’s pick up lines and throws them back at Wat, completely relaxed and comfortable, asking if he should start working right now in bed or asking for Wat to sing him songs while they go home or HIS FACE WHEN ASKED HIM TO GET MARRY AGAIN BOY IS A GONER and he’s as much into their flirting games as Sarawat is and it just. It’s so nice to see the contrast between then and now and see the development they’ve gone through in this one year. Both as characters and as partners, as it should be.

i'm going to ramble about still 2gether
so i kinda forgot i was watching it until i thought today "hey let's watch 3 will be free" and my brain responded with "NO we can't we haven't seen the last episode of still 2gether yet!!" and i was like now whose fucking fault is that
anyway, the five episodes were cheesy and sweet and all around Good. it was a satisfying watch, especially if you're in the mood of no plot just fluff and also in the mood to be reminded of how single you are and how relationships are actually fun in theroy. i dunno of it's because they were only five episodes so there was no need to stretch out plot lines and create unnecessary drama, but they were an improvement following 2gether (which makes sense since they partially exist to fix the mess those last episodes were. i love you 2gether but holy shit)
i really loved sarwatine in this. they are very Cute and also so mature. brightwin's chemistry is to the roof and i feel that the five episodes put that into full use. tine feels like he's more settled into his role as a boyfriend, so there's a sense of equality and give-and-take to their relationship, which is literally my favorite thing in any relationship i just... don't like it when one person feels like they're doing more than the other
i also love how sarawat and tine are now Boys With Responsibilities. seeing them have work to do and things to take care of and navigate their relationship around all of it was a delight. my favorite episode is episode 4 because of 1) the gay conversation between earn and sarawat, 2) the sarwatine interaction across the road, and 3) the ending. just... these two adorable boyfriends sitting on the top step of the stairs after completing a big project, reminiscing on the past, taking adorable 'how it started/how it's going' pictures and posting them on instagram... ahdjandkq
i know that a lot of people didn't like dim/green but rip them all. green is always a delight to watch his outfits in the last episode slap, and having them as a disaster couple was a nice contrast to sarawatine. it somehow emphasized how much sarawat and tine grew as people and how petty drama only serves to make them shake their heads and look at each other in amusement now
mil and phukong were literally my least favorite part of 2gether but now i just... i love them, alright? now i'm obliged to watch frank and drake's first series and wish we could have more of them. i love how one of the characters pointed out that mil and sarawat are similar. that, coupled with the fact that phukong asks mil to pat his head the way 'sarawat does to p'tine', gives the impression that phukong sees his brother as a model of a good partner and his brother's relationship as a model of a good relationship, which is fucking adorable
fong and mantype did convince me to watch thonhon chonlathee once it's fully released despite the fact that everyone keeps on screaming about how bad thon (?) is as a character. i saw tharntype. i don't think it gets worse than that
now, if earnpear not gay why they dress like that? why earn say 'and if i liked girls' to sarawat? why earn always there when boss try talk to pear? why earn look like That at fong when he thought she likes him
ajdnwndk i know i'm overreaching, but i'm just saying that if wabisabi is planning a gl couple in 2021 then *points at earnpear* gmmtv should take a hint
also if i ever question my bisexuality i'll just need to go watch pear in the last episode playing with seashells. she's so soft and i'm so gay
my favorite part of that last episode was boss yeeting himself into the sea to avoid confronting his feelings. if it were anyone else coming between earnpear i would've gone feral but i can't hate boss. my second favorite part was the script feeling the need to poing out that everyone in the cheerleading team was a bottom (pear is also in the cheerleading team. it's a pattern your honor)
just,,, the five special episodes were so warm, and everyone felt like Close Good Friends, and everyone was helping everyone, and it was Nice, and Delightful, and i liked it #gmmtvgiveusearnpear2021 #iwillsellmykidneysiwill
