Questions I must answer:

1.] What/who got you into reading?

Well, this is kinda a long answer. So my dad had read to me for years, and I loved stories. However, I hated reading and convinced myself that I couldn't read. The birthday after I got out of summer school, my grandmother got me a series about cats living in separate Clans and competing for resources (yes, it's Warriors). For months the books just sat there, but one day I got bored, had nothing else to do, so I picked up the first book. The rest is history.

2.] Do any of your friends like to read?

Yeah, most of them do.

3.] What is one book that crushed your soul and made you cry? ( 😂)

Every Sarah J. Maas book ever, plus The Last Hope by Erin Hunter, and Goldie Hawn's Biography because that was difficult to read, man!

4.] What do you usually do to get through a reading slump?

Usually just ignore the fact that books exist for a while. It stressses me out to remember I have a number of books on my bookshelf that I haven't read when I'm in a slump.

5-6.] If you could meet any writer— dead or alive— who would it be? What would you want to know?

Jim Butcher, Erin Hunter, Leigh Bardugo, Sarah J. Maas (SORRY I CAN'T CHOOSE JUST ONE). Jim Butcher because I want to know how he creates such amazing dialogue for his characters, Erin Hunter to thank them for creating the series in the first place because Warriors is so wonderful, even years later. Leigh Bardugo because I want to know how she managed to create such a diverse cast of people so successfully. And Sarah J. Maas because I just am curious if she's how people say she is.

7-8.] What kinds of stories are you drawn to? Are there any you stay clear of?

Fantasy, Sci-fi (as long as it isn't any space bullshit), Paranormal. Ones I steer clear of are dense adventure novels (don't have the patience for them) and most nonfiction. Sometimes I like it, but I won't go out of my way to read it.

9.] What advice would you give to your eight-year-old self?

Punch that Lacy bitch right in the goddamn face. You didn't stay in that school district anyway.

10.] Is there something you regret not doing?

I regret being secluded in Middle School. I became friends with people who bounce between ignoring and being friends with me and fucked it up a lot for myself. As happy as I am in high school, I missed an opportunity to be actually happy, but I was too scared to try until it was too late.

11.] What/who is the one thing/person you would drop everything for?

My family. I'm very sentimental about my family, and while I love my friends dearly, I don't think I have one I'd do that for. Not anymore. Maybe that's horrible, but whatever.
