Heya! I´ve been working on this sort of reference chart for some characters from the IM. Overall, it was a fun excersice. I had to force myself to actually draw vague concepts for once, work with proporcions and color palettes (I think I still need a lot more practice with those).

Muchos de los personajes se ven bastante diferentes de los conceptos originales y siento que debería decir algo al respecto. Mi intención nunca fue resideñar a los personajes de IM, fue mas bien que cuando empecé a leer la historia decidí mejor no checar nada del material original o extra porque quería evitar spoilers así que poco a poco fui formando una idea de como se veían muchos de los personajes. Creo que las únicas excepciones fueron Bendy, Boris, Cups y Mugs, porque después de unos capítulos me animé a ver un poco de los conceptos de la historia, es por eso que sus ropas se ven mas parecidas a los diseños originales.

Bendy

Bendy fue uno de los personajes mas difíciles de dibujar, por que no quería que se viera tan chaparrito desproporcionado comparado con los demás personajes (la diferencia de estatura con Alice me mata XD). En general traté de dejar su estilo de vestimenta igual, solo jugando un poco con los colores. Como un pequeño dato curioso, traté de que sus botas tuvieran algo así como una suela mas alta, jajajajaja.

Boris

Creo que al contrario de Bendy, con Boris siempre he tenido una idea mas clara de como he querido que se vea. En la historia mencionan que aun para su edad sigue manteniendo facciones que lo hacen lucir mas joven y tierno. Así que me enfoqué en hacer lucir sus rasgos mas redonditos reduciendo sus mejillas y acortando su hocico. También imagino que es bastante alto para su edad. En el juego original, sus orejas se ven como rectangulares y por alguna extraña razón pensé que dibujarlas con forma de triangulo lo hacía verse mas joven ¿?

Felix

Felix fue bastante divertido de dibujar. De él solo tenía una idea bastante básica de aventurero con su sombrero, chamarra y mochila, así que solo definí como quería que estos se vieran. Me imaginaba que la chamarra que usa es mas parecida a la que usan los pilotos y su bolsa algo mas como estas mochilas de un solo tirante. La verdad quedé choqueada cuando mencionan en la historia que su bolsa en realidad es una cangurera.

Alice

Al fin pude dibujar a Alice con ropa casual, la verdad no hice nada de investigación para ver si su atuendo esta dentro de lo que normalmente la gente usaría de acuerdo a la época en la que la historia sucede, así que perdón si se ve fuera de lugar. La idea general con Alice era mantener una paleta de colores lo mas sencilla posible (blanco y negro como en el juego original) y dar una imagen de modesta pero elegante de ella.

Sasha

La verdad no modifiqué mucho su diseño, era mas que quería dibujarla con un vestido mas detallado (no lo vuelvo a hacer, casi me muero).

Holly

Ella tampoco tuvo muchos cambios, solo decidí darle una bolsa mas grande tomando en cuenta todo lo que carga con ella XD. Creo que hay algo bástate curioso de su diseñó, y es que basé algunas cosas de este en personajes como Olive Oyl aun sin saber su relación de parentesco con ella, y pienso que se puede notar mas en cosas como su complexión, altura y vestuario. Fue una divertida coincidencia.

Finn

Finley es otro de los personajes de la historia que ya contaba con un diseño por parte de su creador ¡¡¡Pero no me di cuenta hasta mucho después!!! Pensé que era completamente original de la historia. Así que este terminó siendo mi interpretación de él (la diferencia de altura con Holly también me mata XD). No tengo mucho que decir de su diseño, solo que espero haberle hecho justicia.

Joan

Siempre me quedé con la impresión de que Joan era una persona muy alta. ¡Ah! Algo que casi se me olvida es que a muchos de los personajes animales no los dibujé con zapatos, imagino que ha de ser incomodo para ellos usarlos, pero me gusta creer que utilizan protectores como los de Boris o accesorios para emular calzado en algunas ocasiones.

Reachel

No tengo mucho que decir de ella, mas que sus orejitas se me hacen muy lindas.

Cup y Mugs

Creo que tampoco tengo mucho que decir de ellos. Ahorita he visto muchas interpretaciones de ellos siendo bastante altos, pero si les soy sincera, yo veo a la mayoría de los muchachos de IM siendo bastante bajitos o con estatura promedio, jajajajaja. Estos dos nada mas tuvieron un poco mas de suerte al crecer. No sé, es que personajes como Mickey, Donald, Bimbo y Bendy siempre se ven muy pequeños cuando los comparas con otros personajes en sus cánones respectivos. Creo que por eso las chicas son mas altas en la mayoría de mis diseños. También he visto que suelen dibujar a Mugs siendo un poco mas bajito que Cups, pero si hay algo que FMA me dejó bien inculcado es dibujar al hermano menor siendo mas alto, jajajajaja.

Cala

Para el diseño de su vestido sí trate de buscar mas referencias de la ropa de esa época. Originalmente quería dibujarla con pantalones (si de repente obtienes piernas porque no ponerte algo que solo podrías usar con ellas), pero me rendí. Unos zapatos de piso se me hicieron apropiados para ella, considerando que todavía se esta acostumbrando a caminar.

Granny

En mi defensa, no sabía que era lo que significaba "Gopher" (es una tucita), prácticamente casi toda la historia me la pasé pensando que era algún tipo de cabra, así que esa fue la imagen de ella con la que terminé. Pero bueno, la intención aquí era hacerla ver lo mas abuelita posible, lo único que no me convence son los colores. Me hubiera gustado trabajar mas con ellos.

Sara

No se por qué, pero pensé que era mas pequeña y no que tuviera 12 años, y creo que eso se vio reflejado en la estatura que le di. Traté de darle un atuendo que se tuviera un estilo aun mas antiguo, así como colores que se vieran un poco alarmantes. Quería que sus ojos se vieran como agujeros, como si no hubiera nada mas que oscuridad adentro. La forma en la que Boris describe sus primeros encuentros me hizo pensar que quizá al principio si la miraras su imagen se distorsionaría un poco por eso traté de darle ese efecto.

Bigby

La historia menciona que es bastante alto e intimidante, así que traté de retratar eso. También usé estos conceptos para su atuendo y en como dibujar su cara (x), eran justo lo que estaba buscando. No creo que necesite ese abrigo para mantenerse calientito ¡Pero nunca he visto a un jefe de la mafia sin un abrigo elegante! Tanto él como Sara terminaron teniendo colores de paleta bastante similares y no me había dado cuenta, jajajaja.

Me hubiera gustado incluir mas personajes pero he estado muy ocupada, así que solo pude hacer estos.

Finals finally over!!

Bendy still a pain in the ass to draw, I somehow draw Boris and Sasha better than before (magic?).

I miss drawing Felix so much, I love him.

Even as I draw this, Ink still haunted in the back of my mind to go draw more Errorink and Star Sanses Studio, I love and hate that midget..

I been listening to Sally Swing song from original Betty Book’s episode as I first write for this AU. When I know that she only appear in that one episode and gone, which is very sucks since not much people know about her too. I’m really like her. So I want to add her to the B Brothers’ story since for some Bendy is associate with Betty. And this will be one of the time that I want to make her the star of the stages!!

Heya!  I wanted to draw some more of the BABITM girls so I looked up some sketches I had and tried to clean them up a little. 

Mmm... so..

Sasha Swingskirt

I really like Sasha, she was one of the few characters to be truly nice to Bendy and Boris and to worry about them at the start of the story. I would like to see her more often but I suppose tending to a dance club is enough to keep one fairly busy, not counting on the situation of the questers too. 

Sasha completely gives me this flapper girl feel but also keeping herself very lady like (?). Hence the earrings and the hat, I think it helps to make her look more mature, she´s been through some stuff after all.  I like to imagine her as a pettite woman, not as short as Bendy, tho.  

I like her curly hair; I think it makes her look livelier. I had originally a different sketch for her that I really liked, but I lost it :(. I kinda had to draw her again and I ended up adding a few different details. 

I tried to draw a club sing for the background but failed, it looks too simple. XD

Ortensia

One of the things that struck to me more when it came to Ortensia’s appearance was some of the comparisons made between her and Felix, especially when Fanny mentions they could very well be twins. :0 So I drew her with features more similar to Felix´s. Having in mind that pretty much every cartoon cat from that era was pretty much based in Felix, I think it´s not that a big of a stretch. XD

Unrelated but her and Oswald´s story makes me sad. :(

Alice Angel

This time I drew her with her regular uniform at the casino. I really like the black/white palette in her, I think it makes her look elegant but also modest. 

I don´t remember where did I got she would wear a braid while working. I think it´s mention in the story?

Fanny Cottontail

Fun fact! I didn’t know Fanny was an already existing character from the original Oswald cartoons. I thought she was exclusive from the story... ups. XD Despite that my image of her remained similar to that of Oswald´s, with the exception of her colors since her last name made me think of her fur as being completely white. 

I figured she would keep her hears in sort of bun while at work, since they could be kind of bothersome in her busy day. 

Cala María 

I don´t have much to say about her, since I just drew her with a more conventional appearance. :P

Ebi

Okay, okay, okay. So listen, ever since it was mentioned Cala had a sister I was like STARFISH STARFISH STARFISH!!!!!! So I just wanted to draw that picture I had of her. I like a lot the clown fish patter she has on her tail. I also like to think of her as having freckles and with more round eyes in comparison to Cala.

I like a lot TAP´s way of conveying all the characters through the story, so even if my designs differ I try to put even a little of that essence in my drawings. :3
